Good experiencia!
love it
In the center of Shinjuku, we liked the Godzilla theme. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is easy to see from the street but the reception is on the 8th floor of an entertainment complex, hotel entry from street level wasn't obvious.
Awesome!
Great location, friendly staff, great sevice!!!
Great hotel
Great location and easy access to everything. Hotel staff friendly and helpful
Great hotel. Loved the Godzilla theme. Everything was well-presented. The single room was very small, which is fine, but be prepared for how little it is. It was also a little confusing figuring out how to get to the hotel, as its entrance is behind the building it's part of.
Will stay at this hotel again.
Convenient location. Tub was big but the room was small
Stayed with my son. Great view from our room. Easy to get to.
Big deep bath was awesome
I stayed for three nights. The bed was a little firm for me but other than that I can not fault my room. The bath was fantastic and after doing so much walking/sight seeing during the day it was so nice to come back for a relaxing bath, it was so deep and wide, with a separate strong hot shower.
The hotel is in a fun area, lots of things to do around: shopping (from electronics to cosmetics to clothing to junks) and dining (eateries that suit every taste) Breakfast is good.
I love my stay!
Nice place
This hotel has NO service at all. First, their lobby is on 8th floor, which means you will have to change two elevators if you have a tons of luggages. A super big hassle. Second, there is no restaurant in the hotel. No room service, nothing. Third, they have no Yamato service(luggage delivery), or if you want to borrow anything from front desk, they will tell you no. They have nothing and no service at all. I booked 6 nights on the top floor during new years, thought I will be able to see Godzilla more closely thru my room, which is also tiny and overpriced. There was NOTHING through the window. 12 minute walk to Shinjuku station makes it inconvenient on top of it all. Such an overrated scam.
Godzilla lovers
Sooo coool godzilla everywear
A Chill Time in Tokyo
It was a worthwhile vacay in Tokyo. Procimity to all location is excellent, and the Hotel is big for a normal japan Hotel
The rooms are very small for double room.
I had 2 single beds room with the noise from the train at night et early morning. Convenient hotel you can find foods easily.
Great location in the middle of so many things.
The convenience but there was limited dining inside the hotel.
Central to everything like the claw arcades, Don Quijote store, shinjuku station and food places! After 9p, lots of sketchy people hanging around, but they were peaceful.
Nice big hotel. Our room was small, but very clean. The area is super busy, especially at night. Lots of restaurants and bars. Check in and check out was fast.
Great location, uncomfortable bed
Really nice hotel location and helpful staff. Unfortunately, the bed was very stiff and not comfortable. The room is small, but not unusual for a hotel in Shinjuku and the bathroom was spacious. The convenient location made up for any sore backs from the bed!
Excellent Bathroom
If you aren’t too concerned with the small living area, and would much rather have a huge bathroom with an amazing bathtub, I highly recommend this. Only “flaw” would be the train stations are a good distance away. Approximately, 7 - 12 mins walk depending on the station you’re looking for. Food options are everywhere, though it can get pretty rowdy due to this place being in the midst of the red light district.
Kabukicho hotel
This has been my go-to hotel in Tokyo for many many years. Rooms are well sized and clean and service is great. Great location within kabukicho.
Absolutly amazing hotel. Highly recommended for first timers
Amazing bathroom with great shower pressure. Beautiful view of the city.
The property was nice. There are multiple elevators to get to your room from the street. During certain times there is a line to use these elevators. The large Godzilla was off limits. The breakfast was a little speedy for the area. There is no place to just relax and drink a cup of coffee or eat something you don’t buy at the hotel.
Dirty room with trash and sewer small in shower
The room was simply dirty. Upon walking in, I found a piece of plastic wrapper and smaller trash on the carpet floor. The bathroom and shower reeked of sewer smell, beyond mildewy smell that some Japanese city hotels present with. Even my 7 year old kid said the shower smelled like rotten eggs. Also proceeded to find hair on the sink behind the hair dryer as well as on the shower floor outside of the tub. We put a tray over the shower room drain to mitigate the smell, and cancelled the second night and got a refund through Hotels.com. No luggage service at entrance (no bell boy or even carts) as lobby is on 8th floor. No luggage service up from lobby to room (I asked). For $400 a night, this hotel was really the bottom most quality from all we’ve stayed at over multiple trips (including Mitsui, Kraksa, Monday - not comparing to fancy ones). Staff also didn’t seem to care too much bc either way they get a lot of people in due to the location. Location itself was convenient, but it’s Kabukicho - so I was weary of walking around in night time w kids.
Fun and comfortable hotel to stay in. Despite being in the center of everything, it is surprisingly quite. The only annoying thing is that you have to take two elevators to get to your room and the Gozilla head is closed indefinitely.
Attentive staff. Great location.
Rooms were small but had a lot of restaurants and things to do. Best thing was the convenient stores below.
샤워룸이 제일 마음에 들었어요
Hotel Gracery Shinjuku exceeded our expectation! The hotel, staffs, ambiance have been really amazing and very clean. We'll definitely be coming back and would recommend it to others.
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in room 1435. Pro: Really convenient as it’s in the heart of Shinjuku. Everything was walking distance. Con: We stayed in the double room and it was really small. We had to put the luggage rack next to the small sofa in order to open up one luggage. The room was also worn with some stain on the sofa. Overall it was a good hotel to stay but maybe for one night just to see head of Godzilla on the side of the hotel. By the way, the head of Godzilla was closed off for viewing with no reason.
Excellent experience Great staff
Superb service
Great location, plenty of places to eat, fun places around.
The hotel was in a good location, in the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku station. It was a shame that the terrace was closed so we could not see Godzilla close up. Water was provided daily and there is a filtered water machine in the lobby. The room was clean (and small, as expected), except for a small stain on the covers. It was not clearly communicated what to do with the used towels, but we just left them in the hallway and they were picked up by the time we got back. Something that I noticed in all hotels on this trip is that the walls in the bathroom by the sink were not cleaned so there were lots of toothpaste stains/marks.
Everything was within walking distance
Loved it here, can't wait to come back
Great place if you love the hustle and bustle
Great location, walking distance to tourist area in Shinjuku. Is in a busy area but rooms are quiet. Great service!
Nice stay
The location is very convenient with many stores and restaurants around, close to JR trains station
Great location in the middle of Kabukicho area in Shinjuku City, Tokyo
Location, location, location was superb! Right in the centre of everything in Shinjuku!
The rooms was big enough for 2 people and the staff was lovely and very helpful
very nice place
Great location near all the restaurants and very near main shinjuku station.
Great location right in the heart of Shinjuku! The room was small (standard in Japan) but very clean and the staff was very friendly, they have check-in machines that can accommodate many different languages. The gozilla decor in the hotel was super cool but unfortunately the gozilla head balcony was not open for viewing during our stay. Nevertheless we had a great stay!
Property was fine for couples but maybe families with children should consider other options
Access to the balcony to see the Godzilla head was not open.
Close to all the action.
Great hotel but room was too small for a guy my size. Otherwise, I love this place.
Like the location. Room was a little small for 2 people.
nice and clen
Honestly they ran this hotel into the ground. Used to be so good but now the rooms are dirty and dated, they don't even open the rooftop anymore, and the service has a lot to be desired.
My stay at this hotel was a delightful blend of clean clothes and great company. The coin laundry service was a lifesaver—easy and efficient, making travel life a breeze. The staff? Absolutely top-notch professionals who made every interaction a pleasure. The housekeeping team deserves a shout-out for their attentiveness and helpfulness. My room was always spotless and welcoming! As for the location, it’s a foodie's dream! Surrounded by a variety of restaurants, I never ran out of delicious options. And the nightlife down the street? Simply electric! Can't wait to return for another round of fun!
Godzilla's Head is not accessible.
Godzilla attraction was great, but due to some reason, we were not allowed to enter the roof top area to see it up close. We stayed a week and it was unavailable. Rooms were very small. Suit cases had to stay in the hallway and could not be unpacked due to lack of space. Bathrooms were good.
English friendly
Love the fact that a lot of the staff speaks fluent English which makes our stay a lot easier.
Small rooms, but great bathtubs. Appreciate the 7-11 and Lawson nearby
Loved it
I’m a Godzilla fan so this is hands-down one of my favorite places I’ve stayed. Hotel super clean, super friendly and helpful. You step out the hotel door into action downtown in the streets great location. Can’t wait to go back.
We stayed there to be able to see Godzilla's Head. But it was unaccessible because, how the posting said, "of many reasons".
Great property in red light district
Great location right in the middle of Shinjuku, modern , great staff.. we would stay again
It was nice the Godzilla decor was cool the one thing that made me want to stay here was seeing the Godzilla head outside but it was closed for guests when we went
Very convenient location. Close to train station and everything is walkable around the hotel. Very busy area though.
In the heart of Shinjuku, relatively safe around the hotel.
The location in Shinjuku is great. The view of the city from our room was amazing! The rooms seemed a bit worn but very clean overall. We did not need our rooms to be cleaned everyday but the staff was great about leaving clean towels, toiletries, and water hanging in a bag on our door. My only complaint is the Breakfast! It really was lacking breakfast options. The coffee was cold and not very good. The orange juice came from the soda machine so it really was more like Fanta and not OJ. There were many lunch/dinner items but truly not breakfast foods. We decided to have breakfast elsewhere after the 1st morning.
An overall great hotel in many ways clean, godzilla on the roof, great staff who helped me out after locking myself out of my room twice. There is also plenty of restaurants on the ground level to choose from if you want a variety of foods and quick. Plus a 7-11 on the ground floor for midnight runs. While Shinjuku is great once it reaches the later hours of the night to early morning you will encounter a lot of people who are drunk or the local Nigerian touts trying to con you into going to a bar. Loved the actual hotel itself just watch out for seedy characters outside and do not accept any invite to go to a specific bar or location. I am giving an overall rating of 5 due to the hotel itself being great, just the area around is an issue only late at night.
Great location
Bit difficult to find the first time (head toward the toho cinemas and walk through the shops past the 7/11) and take the elevator to the 8th floor. Otherwise, amazing location. Staff were super helpful. Rooms are the usual Japan size with slightly bigger bathroom. Convenience cannot be beat with just a short walk from exit B13 (metro exit) and in the center of Shinjuku
Good location, easy access for locals. The things need to improve is breakfast should be alternative options from different days quite boring every day ate the same Food. The staff service dropped not make Japanese what has in the past, standards should be more training
Second time staying at this hotel: from the staff to the rooms, this hotel is quite amazing at how far they will go to accommodate you. This is a 5 star hotel in my eyes. Westernized rooms, lots of amenities, professional front desk staff.
Great
Comfortable and clean
My stay was great. The area is a little shady but I never felt unsafe. The rooms are small but spotless.
Great location!
The property was very clean and staff were so nice and helpful.
Hotel was great, only wish we could have gone on the balcony with Godzilla statue.
Great
It’s a good hotel to stay at for a little bit but not too long. The hotel itself is great, besides you can’t walk out to see the Godzilla head. The area that it’s in though is the party center of Tokyo so you get that at night. Clubs were still going at 8am. But it is a good location if you want to be in the middle of it all.
Just book it. Worth it!
This is a fantastic hotel. Book with confidence.
Stayed there twice already. Will go back
overall bad price for this kind of hotel
close to everything.
None
The hotel facilities and staff were outstanding, going over and beyond to assist guests. The only downfall is the location, which is in the heart of a party atmosphere with many touts and uncleanliness.
Great location
Godzilla being part of building, the staff was great and helped with transportation and sites to see.
Good location if you wanna be in the action
This hotel is located in the middle of the action being that you’re high up there. You don’t really hear the craziness if that’s your thing then this is your Hotel. It was not my thing but best case scenario was this Hotel because you’re so high up that it’s safe quiet and comfortable.
Rooms are small. Ice machine did work. Godzilla balcony closed.
It was close to shopping district.
Even though the hotel is in super-busy Shinjuku, our room was quiet. Very small room, though, which is pretty normal. Sadly, the deck around the Godzilla head was indefinitely closed. The breakfast buffet at Sakura was good, though the Western-style offerings were only so-so. This is a good pick for anyone who either loves Godzilla or wants to be in the heart of the action. It's very close to the 3D projected cat.
They're excellent. Their bathroom area is big compared to other hotels. The room was very comfortable. I will book this hotel again on my next visit to Shinjuku.
Nice property, very central in Shinjuku
