Good spot,will stay again

Stayed here November 2024. Staff was so welcoming, helpful and attentive. Breakfast every morning was delicious and a great way to start the day. Very conveniently located to interests, restaurants and transportation. Highly recommend. Rooms are small, but that’s typical for many boutique hotel options.

Great little hotel in a convenient location to the sights of the city. Be prepared for very small rooms, although clean and well appointed. The a/c didnt work well for us and the room was very warm and stuffy as a result.

Great stay. Wonderful staff

Hotel College de France is a quiet,clean and charming hotel.It is located in the latin quarter with lots of restaurants and cafes not far away.Close to public transport options and 7 minutes drive from the Gare de Lyon train station for commuting south of the city. Closest attractions are the Notre Dame and Shakespeare and Company bookstore. First time traveling to Paris and felt at home.The staff were warm,friendly and extremely helpful throughout my stay. Highly recommended.

Great location

We stayed for only one night. We had the family room, so two rooms connected by a small private hallway. It was perfect for our stay -- clean, quiet, nice shower. If we were staying longer, it may have been a little tight, space-wise, but I think that may be the norm. The staff members we met were great and very helpful! We did not do the breakfast for 15 pounds and just picked up coffee and some pastries nearby. It was a very nice walk to the Louvre. Would definitely stay again next time we are in Paris.

Lovely little place in a conviennent location.

We stayed for 3 nights in summer 2024. While the room was small (normal for Paris), it still had everything we needed, including a small fridge. Our room was on the top floor which was not accessible by the elevator - we had to walk up one flight of stairs after getting off the elevator. Not a problem for us but something to consider if you have accessibility needs. The staff were all wonderful and we liked the area. We would stay here again.

The best part of our trip to France was the hotel and the stuff that works there. It’s clean, quiet, stuff members are nice and friendly. Love it!

Very beautiful boutique hotel in Paris. The hotel is two blocks away from the river by the Notre Dame cathedral. The metro station was very close. The room was clean and adequate size for both of us.

It was a great place for a weekend trip to Paris. Beautiful part of the city and excellent local options.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Everything was very clean. We had a short walk to a bus or train station. The hotel staff were great. Shout out to Nils as he was awesome and helped us out with our touring tickets and went out of his way. Staff like that make the stay so much more enjoyable. We would definitely that here again. First a big thank you to the wonderful hotel staff at Hotel College de France. They were very friendly and accommodating. Nils at the front desk and Alex at the food service provided great service and made my visit very pleasant. I had a last minute luggage emergency when one of my suitcases broke but they were able to direct me to a nearby store so I could purchase a replacement. Outstanding friendly service! (trust me that is a rare commodity in Paris) All the staff were very friendly and apologize not remembering their names. I was able to store my luggage when I arrived and received a notice on my phone when the room was ready. Location was a 5 min walk to the center of the city (Notre Dame) as well as 2 different metro stations. There was a very solid large safe in my room which I appreciated and also a small refrigerator. The breakfast was very pleasant and quite economical when you consider Paris prices. The hotel is open 24/7 with a staff member present nearby. I do believe the front door gets locked around 10pm or 22:00 but then you just ring the door bell and they open within a couple of minutes. The rooms are small compared by American standards but you can't beat the location or the friendly staff. Perhaps if you want a very large room perhaps this hotel would not be to your liking. I highly recommend this Hotel and will be staying here again on any future Paris trips. Bon Voyage and God Bless you!

Excellent location, everything just perfect!

There was no breakfast buffet as advertised we could only get coffee and had to drink it in our room. There was construction going on in the lobby area so there weren’t any seats or tables and chairs where the buffet would have been. Also, house keeping didn’t provide enough TOILET PAPER WE JAD TO GO DOWNSTAIRS AND ASK FOR A ROLL!

Great location, friendly service and overall a good experience. While we were there we couldn’t use the breakfast room due to a water leak. But other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Staff at the reception is great. So welcoming and resourceful with all info that you need. Great location about this hotel makes this hotel you what to go back when staying in Paris. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and especially at the first time Paris visit. 5 start experience!

Loved this hotel, conveniently located 5-8 min walking distance from Pantheon and the Seine, 2-3 min from bars and restaurants and incredible quite at night. Guys at the reception desk couldn’t be more nicer and helpful, they gladly spoke English to us and even a little bit of Spanish. They also made themselves available thorough whatsapp. Breakfast was delicious and rooms were spotless. Bed was a little bit hard and room was small but the hotel is super cute. I will go back and recommend this place.

Great staff!

We loved this little hotel. The staff were exceptional. The room was small but comfortable. A bit cramped for 2 people but doable. It had a little fridge. A safe. A kettle. Coffee and tea. Good shower. Comfy bed. Nice decorations. Lovely bedding. Two big windows that opened. Very quiet. Wonderful breakfast for 12 euros which included an omelette or scrambled eggs. All you can eat. Easy to get to metro and Rer B and C . Walk to Notre Dame Cathedral. Lively Latin Quarter bistros and restaurants. Near the Sorbonne and College of France. Perfect for our stay! Just a warning - book things online in advance… Louvre, Musée D’Orsay etc or you will be disappointed.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. I highly recommend it. The staff was courteous and provided recommendations for nearby restaurants. The room was spacious. The location of the hotel is exceptional and close to restaurants, shops and tourist locations.

Fantastic service!

We just completed a 5 night stay here, and it was delightful. The staff (all shifts) could not have been better! They were all professional, well-informed about everything in the area, and helpful in every way. The rooms are small, but certainly adequate, clean and quiet. We have been to Paris many times before, but had never stayed in this area - loved it!

Beautiful boutique hotel. Stayed in the “Eiffel Tower” room which was huge. Would definitely book this unique hotel again.

My room had problems with the water pressure for the shower and there was no hot water to shower with. Other than this to stay in the room and the staff were very good.

Super friendly English speaking front desk staff. Wonderful breakfast. Room is small but well updated and functional. Location is just perfect, a few minutes from a subway station, a lot of restaurants options, a little grocery stores, yet, off from the most touristy area. We’ll stay here again. Recommended!

This is a beautifully run hotel with great staff, breakfast is made with care and everything is clean. The area is safe and it is very easy to get around. 5 minute walk to Notre Dame Cathedral and River Thames, a few shops, restaurants and train station close by. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Excellent choice. Will be back.

We had a wonderful stay. Yana and staff were kind and incredible hosts. They were always willing to help out if we had any requests. The beds were comfortable. The hotel was close to Notre Dame and The Pantheon. There were many dining options nearby and plenty of choices for transportation. Would stay here again.

Very nice location in Latin Quarter. very close to many tourist destinations. Definitely quiet and safe, close to several Metro stations, all very walkable. Lots of choices in terms of eateries. Staffs at hotel very friendly, and helpful. No problem with my room at all. Loved to pick up the little treats at the front desk as we depart every morning (room key must be dropped off). I will not hesitate to stay here again the next time we visit Paris.

My husband and I loved our stay here! The staff members were friendly and nice. The hotel is in a convenient location with an awesome French bakery close by for breakfast treats. There are also a lot of restaurants nearby and walking distance to several fun attractions. Easy commute throughout the city too since it’s close to the metro as well. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Paris next time!

Sebastian was excellent with us. We had to catch the train one morning and he walked us all the way down to where you purchase the tickets. Very helpful!! The hotel itself is more boutique-like which was fine for us as we were looking for something more budget friendly. Overall stay was good. Staff was nice. We felt it was in a walkable area close to a ton of restaurants/cafes.

Extremely helpful staff. Breakfast for $12 with fresh eggs, lattes and orange juice is worth starting your day right. You can virtually walk to a lot of attractions and public transport to everyplace is within 5-10 minutes. Room in the listing is not what you get, slightly smaller but very clean.

The hotel and the staff were fantastic! From when we arrived very early (5:00am) to when we left they went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. It’s a small older boutique hotel, our room was bigger than we expected and had everything we needed. They serve breakfast in a wonderful little dining room and have a seating area ( lobby) that is wonderful for a quick cup of coffee/tea that they will make for you. It’s a nice way to quickly recharge between outings. Being in the Latin quarter was excellent! So many restaurants to choose from, you’re near the Pantheon and Notre Dame is close too. They recommended a cafe called La Petite Perigourdine. We had a fabulous dinner there and the wait staff was excellent. We will stay here again when we are visiting Paris.

HCF had all the necessary appointments at a reasonable price per room. The breakfast was adequate and convenient so that you could start your day easily. The staff was very accommodating.

Very nice staff, clean and central

Great experience. The hotel is very communicative over WhatsApp and let us know when our room was ready while they held our bags and we walked around Paris. The hotel is small but the rooms are adequate. Only complaint was that the AC turned off periodically throughout the night so we had to get up to turn it back on when the room would heat up. We were there during a heatwave so it was probably not a normal experience. Minor complaint only as we really enjoyed our stay.

Hotel located in Latin Quarter and very walkable to Notre Dame, Seine river and restaurants/cafes. We loved the location. Only downside the room was small but apparently that is common in France. I was so happy with this hotel. It was within 10 minutes walk to two train stations, close to several tourist places like Notre Dame, Saint Chappelle, the Panthenon, and Luxembourg. Paris is so big that no matter what landmark you stay at, you have to travel for the others but it was within 20-30 minutes train to all other landmarks. I also chose it because of its distance to the Latin Quarter, which I loved on my first trip to Paris several years ago, great restaurants and nightlife! I was a solo traveler and didn’t feel unsafe walking the few minutes back from the trains or restaurants at night! The room was so clean & the staff was super nice.

Excellent location for travelling via public transport and within walking distance to sights such as Notre Dame and the Pantheon. Would recommend to friends/family and will definitely stay again. Great place lovely staff always asked if you needed anything if everything was fine small rooms but very adequate for your needs stayed a couple of nights great location just around the corner from notre dame netflix and youtube to connect too which is handy if you get back early and want to chill from all the sight seeing 10 out of 10

We booked two rooms. One is remodeled and very good. But the other is old and face inner, so the air circulation is bad. Except of it, others is good.

My family of four rented adjoining rooms. Could not figure out how to operate the HVAC, but did not really need it as the weather in Paris was just simply fabulous the week of Bastille Day. The Hotel is in the Latin Quarter near several wonderful restaurants. A few blocks away from the Notre Dame and the St. Michel station which allows easy access to the entire city. This trip was by far the best experience I've had in Paris and in no small part to the lodging.

Wonderful, centrally located property near metro station and many sites. The staff was kind and helpful, and frequently communicated with me via WhatsApp to assist with any and all of my questions/needs. The room was not large (which is the case in many European hotels) but the bed was comfortable, the bath had every amenity needed, and the ability to control AC and open the windows was very convenient. Great restaurant across the street. I felt very well taken care of here, and would recommend to anyone.

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice now - it’s a good choice hotel in ideal location in Paris with transport links. Friendly and helpful staff on hand to assist. The hotel would benefit from an iron available for use in rooms and modern hairdryer.

It is near mini attractions, and what it is not near you can get to BFF bus metro or water bus. We loved our stay.

This hotel and the staff were all incredibly welcoming and helpful. I would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again whenever I’m back in Paris. Our rooms were gorgeous and set up with lots of hooks for hanging things, closet space and desk area. And AC!! It hit 90 while we were there so the air was definitely appreciated. Neighborhood was beautiful and restaurants, shops, metro were all around. We walked everywhere. 10 stars!!

A cute hotel with nice and responsive staff. They left a cute card and decorative candy on our bed when we arrived as we were on our honeymoon. You can use WhatsApp to communicate with them which was very useful for us coming from the states, and useful for when you don't want to verbally talk to anyone. Easy check in and check out process. Every time you leave the hotel, they ask you to leave the hotel keys with the front desk as a safety measure. The hotel was walkable to many places, and about 10 min walk to the seine. The room was sizeable, but the bathroom was small. The shower doors had to be closed in a certain way so that no water gets out onto the floors. Overall, a great stay!

Great location. Near many of the attractions. It is opposite where the Eiffel Tower is, but it was just fine. It made it a highlight to get to.

Best place to stay near paris downtown. I personally enjoyed and breakfast is excellent.

This hotel was in a perfect central location for seeing Paris, yet was on a quiet street. It is so quaint and the staff is wonderful! The beds are very comfortable and the breakfast at the hotel for 10 Euros is wonderful. I loved this hotel.

Quaint hotel with great staff

The staff was above and beyond friendly and helpful! The room was clean, though the carpet seemed old. An easy upgrade for the hotel to do would be change out the instant coffee to a Nespresso or Keurig machine.

I'm just now getting to write my review as i complete forgot however stayed here in September and it was the best. The hotel staff were so nice -Nils was especially great. Gave me recommendations while i was visiting Paris. The hotel is close to restaurants, tourist attractions, bars etc. It is quite far from the Eiffel tower but walking distance to Notre Dame and The Louve. Very close to the metro which allows easy commute from the airport to the hotel. Its off a main street so you barely hear any noises or cars. I felt very safe walking in this area. The rooms reminded of NYC rooms- very small but perfect for 1-2 people. Bed was comfy. Did not purchase the breakfast so i can't speak on that but it smelled divine when walking past the dining room.

This is a very cute property. Kind of a distance from some sites, but overall very comfortable! The staff was amazing! Nils, Anderson and Mariana at the desk were stellar and the lady who handles breakfast in the morning was a delight. Definitely recommended if you are looking for a cozy spot.

Overall I really liked staying at this hotel. The staff go above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable. They are really good with staying in constant communication at all hours of the day which I really liked. Marianna, Sebastian, and Nils are excellent concierge. The hotel/room is small but my friend and I actually had space to move around and we found space to store our things. I really loved that they had laundry. Only thing I wish is that the room came with more toiletries, sandals, and a robe. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

Nice Spot

The room was about 50 feet from the metro and plenty of eateries. It was a very nice hotel and the room wasn't very small. The heat worked well and the water in the shower was very hot. Overall we'd definitely stay there again. They also have luggage storage in the lobby. The elevator was tiny. We barely had room for the two of us with carry on luggage.

The staff are very professional with friendly manner. They are also very welcomed every time.

Fantastic location for RER from Roissy, for Isle de la Cite, Marais, Left Bank etc. Room small but clean. Staff very helpful. My second stay here.

We loved the place. The location and the staff were everything we'd hoped it would be. Look forward to one day returning.
