Stayed for 6 nights. Staff were very friendly and the location is very convenient being attached to the mall.

Outstanding Hotel in Surabaya

Ciputra World is always the best place to stay in Surabaya. It's been my go to place for several years. Too bad the connected shopping mall is not doing too well.

It is a great hotel and excellence service but wish the pool was heated.

Overall good. Only first 2 nights the drainage pipes gave off foul smell. Breakfast spread are fantastic.

Transit stay

The arrival and parking arrangements were both unclear and inconvenient. The room was good but the breakfast indifferent. I would stay again but the hotel may not be my first choice.

Ini kali kedua saya menginap di Ciputra World Surabaya. Pengalaman pertama tahun lalu memuaskan. Karena itu kami menginap lagi saat ini ketika melewati kota Surabaya. Anak saya usia 6 & 7thn. Baru kali ini menginap hotel, anak usia 7th dikenakan biaya u/ breakfast. Dimana tidak tertera diregulasi pada saat booking hotel melalui online. Staff tersebut juga sangat tidak sopan. Berarti hotel ini tidak cocok untuk family. Tepatnya saya tidak akan menginap lagi atau memberi rekomendasi kepada teman atau keluarga. Terima kasih

Not so good

We booked for two room with two twins bed in grand deluxe room type. Have to wait for 15 minute even we check in at 17.30 which the room should be ready at 14.00. In 15 minute we only get the first room and have to wait another 20 minute for the second room. While other guest that come after us, received their room key faster than us. Room facilities was good, but do not surprise if find the water in bath up little bit yellow. Bed was comfort and they provide free fruit and cake for apologized compliment. Infinity pool and jacuzzi was great, pool cleaning staff was nice. Unfortunately, the restaurant for breakfast is not quite spacious, food range also standard. We disappointed to find out that vegetable in gado gado menu was smelly, and has rotten with sour taste. When we decide to inform it to them, there were no feedback. With their five star title and price, hotels should be more careful about this. Make sure check in for guest is smooth, facilities in good condition, and food in restaurant also need to be improved also give nice feed back if there are any information or complaints from guest.

Not a 5 star experience

The room itself is nice but. the hotel access is definitely Not a 5 star experience.. for a start the access to the hotel from. the parking area and the mall is through a parking area. very narrow sidewalk next to cars driving into parking space. hotel lobby is on the 8 floor. so when you arrive you are only greeted by a concierge who can only receive luggage and you need to park your car and then return back to the hotel thru that narrow sidewalk from the parking area.

Hotel is nice but towels are in bad condition, Looks old and worn out... Could be better than that, and breakfast is also could be better.... really!

Connected to the mall which was super convenient. Had plenty of restaurants and shops, supermarket. Service at the hotel was amazing, the staff paid attention to detail. Couldn't find any flaws.

excellent hotel, value for money CIPUTRA shopping mall is next to it opens at 10 am though. Almond milk for vegan is not available, though Soya milk is. There is nothing around the hotel but hotel itself is beautiful with nice bed, spacious room, internet is slow

Excellent Place to Stay in Surabaya

Great staff and service at the hotel, including the security staff at the ground floor. Excellent room and breakfast. Too bad they are building another tower next door, so the bathroom drapes must be drawn at all times. However the building is top notch.

Good hotel but need to improve service

Hotel is good, clean and comfort with good amenities, also have a good location which link to the mall. Breakfast is good, and have many variation too. Service is okay. The worst thing is only the accident when staff of hotel suddenly enter my room without press the bell or ask permission first, that time i was changing my cloth in the room. Actually I didn't order something before, and my room had been cleaned up already. Then they said sorry because they came to the wrong room number.

The 5 star hotel was disappointing

I booked a hotel room with a single bed but the hotel provided a room with a twin bed that was put together. I feel cheated by the hotel with this incident because during sleep I feel uncomfortable, it turns out that the twin beds are put together is this the standard of a 5 star hotel? Does a 5-star hotel know the standard quality of sleep? I, who have been subscribed to Ciputra World hotel, was very disappointed with this incident of course I would not recommend this hotel to colleagues and friends

It’s very enjoyable to stay and with friendly hotel staffs. The management did a good job to maintain the cleanliness of the hotel.

Perfect stay with the artistic art piece, the breakfast have many choices and delicious and I have a perfect time with Ciputra.

Great place except the air conditioning was not cold enough due to the full glass facade which absorbs the heat.

Beautiful hotel with great rooms. Buffet breakfast selection was huge but most items were cold. Attached to a mall and close to some attractions. The inifinity pool, hot tub and sauna on the 22nd floor were great. Check - in & out were quick and efficient. Lots of parking available. Wifi worked great in room.

Hotel with a mall

We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights for our family in this hotel. The check in process in this hotel is quite slow, they're taking more than 30 minutes for the check in when we checked in around 5 pm. Although this hotel is a 5 star hotel but it's lacking in 5 star facilities. The bathroom in this hotel seems a bit old and have a bit of mould in the shower area. The gym facilities are quite small for 5 star hotel. But the rooftop swimming pool is quite nice. Wifi is good and location is good also next to the mall. The breakfast buffet have plenty of food selection. It's a good hotel but not up to 5 star standard.

It was good hotel. What you expect from 5 star. The room was big and spacious. Love the room. The bedroom and bathroom has glass devider so you can see through. I think the room not soundproof. You can hear the nextdoor talk and run and the bell rang. Love the swiming pool and the staff

Air con condenser was leaking but they offered to change us to another room. Room was otherwise clean and nice. Location very good

It was a great staying experience with impressive interior fittings, design & good food.

It is an excellent hotel if you are here for a business trip. It gives you the comfort, spacious and luxurious amenities. Yet, the hotel is situated within the city. Easy accessible everywhere you wanted to go for your business meetings. Definitely worth for money and recommended to stay again.

Nicely appointed hotel with such friendly staff

Excellent service from drop off lobby to reception, breakfast & room service. Well appointed hotel with very clean room providing international plug in the bedside tables which is great for international travellers forgetting to bring appropriate converters. Buffet breakfast offers quite a good selection and the wait staff were very friendly. It was a little odd to have the drop off lobby at ground floor and then reception is actually at level 8. I already knew about it via reading reviews so knew what to expect but drop off area ambience is sorely lacking. Also there should be more info available in the room (some info such as room service menu available via the tv) ie. massage and how to get to the attached mall etc.

Nice hotel, next to luxury mall

Hotel is next to a mall, so after a long day of business meeting we can hangout at the mall, and just a walk back to our room to rest.

Very clean room and the breakfast was very good. The location of the hotel is next to the shopping mall. Very easy to access the hotel from airport. Easy pick up for transportation and the staff were very friendly.

Enjoyable Stay in Surabaya

The property is quite new do the building and it's facilities are quite nice. Reception, staff, and security staff were quite friendly and helpful. Called for a room service but the person never showed up. Breakfast was excellent and so many selection of hot and cold offerings. Overall it was very nice experience staying at the hotel. The building has access to the shopping mall which gives us many dining options. Definitely will stay at this hotel in my next visit to Surabaya.

Nice hotel,but poor service & attention to details

Stayed here 2x, dissapointed 2x. First, let me say all the good things, I like how it is connected to a mall and you can easily take a toll to go to the airport. The room is clean and love the bath tub of the grand deluxe room. Here goes of all my disappointments: the hotel offers free parking, but I was not informed. Bathroom had a random pen on the sink as if the housekeeping staff has forgotten. One lamp couldn't be turned off. Phone wasn't working. No apology or even offered to move me to a different room. The first five star hotel that I ever stayed in without a 24 hours business center. Though on expedia it says that I should have access to the exec lounge. Their excuse was the business center is only available to suite guests and since none of the suite is occupied, thus the executive lounge which has the printer is not opened. Then when I went down to the lobby to print, they said I need to pay because my document was 9 pages long, had it been 4 or 5 pages they said it'd be free. I asked on my second stay why can't you print 2 sided, then it would only be 5 pages of paper being used. Then they agreed to print my document for me. The pool was cold, jacuzzi was working only when the attendant mess with the button from the inside. Ordered Amrican bfst which comes with cereal, but did not provide spoon. Be careful when using the bath salt because there were some clear rocks (not salts) that pierced me. None of the staff was apologetic for any malfunction service. Sigh.

A short stay at friend invitation to visit Surabaya . Nothing much in touristy but we enjoyed the meals at local restaurant and relaxation at the hotel & shopping mall.

Great place to stay and service is surely a 5 star hotel. Things that need to be improve on include - More channel options for the TV - Internet/Wifi speed need some faster connectivity.

Amazing hotel, no expense spared in the decor, and the infinite pool upstairs is a great way to soak in after a big day of shopping, which is next door!

Comfortable Hotel

Stayed in Ciputra World for 4 days. This is a new hotel in an area which has other constructions still going on. It's next to a new mall which has shopping and many restaurants. Room is large, clean and comfortable. Shower though turns cold and hot by itself. Wall is a bit thin soy out can hear your neighbor's shower being turned on. There were a lots of families there because of holidays so doors slamming can be heard. Buffet breakfast spread is very good and staff is friendly and attentive. May stay here again.

All in the hotel are satisfied except one more night chargement on me.

Not a comfort stays

I have neck problem, their 2 pillows caused my neck even more pain. I didn't sleep well. An unsuitable thick and very warm night blanket was provided for a pleasant room temperature. Only one thing we like was next to a shopping mall.

Modern hotel that is located close to shopping mall. Well kepted hotel with comfortable rooms. Pleasant staff with good breakfast. I couldnt get a queen bed even though it was requested, the only downside to the stay.

The hotel is brand new and some installations still require final touch-up and optimization. Very good breakfast, staff has been very friendly and attentive. Overall, good new hotel choice in Surabaya.

Wow... Wish I could stay longer!

If I could give a 10*.. I would. This by far the best hotel we ever stayed in. Room was small but the interior decoration made it seems big. Bathroom was amazing. Everything including the toiletries were put in an elegant bag/drawers. Don't get me started with the pool... You can see Surabaya. Of course the breeze was too cold for me to swim. But who cares!!! I jumped into the pool... Wait.. Breakfast was amazing!!! OK.. I have to stop now. Ciputra is the best best best best!!!

You can hear your neighbor next door very easily between walls. Wasnt able to get a single bed although they have confirmed on the phone, very dissatisfying.

New Hotel, Great Service and Clean

We stayed there for a week, ordered two Grand Deluxe Rooms in early Jun 2015. Both rooms are spacious, everything in the room is in great condition and new. The bathroom is very nice, love the spa style tub. They dont give cheap ammenities which is appreciated. The beds are very comfortable, we had good sleeps. We are not too fond of the artwork on the wall but it doesn't bother us at all. Lobby is on the eigth floor as supposed to be on the first floor. There are security check on the first floor before they let anyone comes into the hotel. We ordered in room breakfast a few times and we were very inpressed with the quality and the quantity of the food served. Swimming pool is on the roof level, needs more sitting areas. The water is too cold so kids can't enjoy swimming for a long time. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. Very quick response when we had an issue with our safety box. The hotel is next to the Ciputra Mall, very convenient. There are Starbucks, a lot of restaurants, and supermarket in the mall so you don't really need to drive any where to get things. We would definitely come and stay there again in the future.

Excellent experience, location just next to a new shopping mall. New and well maintained. Breakfast is good though my experience with other 4-5 star hotels could offer more. But this is not a major issue here. About 30 mins from the airport.

Nice new hotel but...

Nice new hotel, with good rooms and location, close to mall. But... not sure the quality of construction is really good. Walls are too thin, can hear neighbours, got bothered few times by families around Weird road access. Pool is on rooftop and has a view... but very small and completely North so no sun, why???!!!

This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are upscale, nicely furnished and a very comfortable bed with nice linens. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of Asian and Western dishes. The staff in the buffet was delightful. They seemed to appear almost unnoticed to refill coffee or fill whatever need you had. Being new, all of the facility was not complete. The spa was not opened but it appeared to be training staff when Imwent to check it out. I am sure that when all complete it will earn a FIVE STAR rate.

Great brand new 5 star hotel in a great location

Very new hotel in a great location part of Ciputra World mall. Everything seemed very nice except WI-Fi internet connection slow, and cell phone reception very poor in the building. Shower drain clogged but staff finally fixed it on the 2nd day. Hotel manager very helpful and I would consider staying again.
