Terrace
A small hotel with a great location, very friendly and helpful staff, and scrupulously clean. It has a lovely terrace where yiu can relax in the evening. It has no amenities, but in such a convenien location, they are not needed.
I am a native Spanish speaker and have traveled widely in Latin America and Spain for decades now; I do not write negative reviews lightly. I'm sorry to have to here. Internet on the 3rd floor comes and goes (emphasis on goes) and is unreliable. They have advertised wi-fi and yet it's not reliably provided; signal can be weak at best, and you'll waste time waiting for it. Wholly insufficient light in the room to read (there is a whopping one light bulb in the third floor double room, and it’s clouded in the fan light). The windows don’t compensate significantly because of location, size, and reliance on weather – they just need to spend a small amount on more light and it doesn't seem to have occurred to them. Morning cleaning begins at 7:30 loudly on the terrace with full equipment banging on the room doors (no exaggeration), staff there loudly waking you at an unreasonable hour or assuming that the room is vacant despite you having paid and checked in. No telephone in the room. Day one the staff walked in on me lying in bed without knocking on the door - it didn't even occur to her, yet it was only eight AM. Day two when I asked the man sweeping and banging my door with the broom to have some respect he challenged me. This place is not bad if it were free, but do *not* be fooled by the name. This is a location that has not earned my respect or appreciation. I stand by my review; this was disappointing.
Staff were very nice, good clean rooms. Recommended.
this is a litlle, comfortable, warm, well-located palace, excelent under all views. Please, do not miss the opportunity to sytay there. I and my wife are loving it.
A nice find in Cuernavaca. Simple hotel, close to the center. Good value for money. Staff were pleasant & helpful, but none spoke English. Note that it's on a narrow street with a lot of traffic. If you want quiet, request a room away from the street. Also, there is no sign on the front, so finding it could be a little tricky. All in all, a good place. Would recommend.

We had a great time at this hotel. The staff was so friendly and kind! It was cozy and we would definitely stay again.
Frida Works Well With Travellers.
Clean spot close to zocalo action, parks, entertainment, restaurants and other goodies in this downtown location. Individuals who checked us in were wonderful, cheery and helpful. Room may have been a bit tight for.the two of us but the room was clean and the rooftop provided ample.room.to hang out. WiFi worked well and I would return to said location in the future.
Nice clean hotel with an excellent manager, Geraldo, who helped me a lot!
This is a good hotel if you’re going to explore the city and just need something safe and clean to sleep.
The noise of the traffic by my room window on tge first floor. Staff were great folks. Found a quiet place the next day.
Very friendly and attentive excellent customer service and cleanliness
Great location,a 5 min walk to Zocalo, shopping, great food & movie theater. Small hotel, few rooms, very clean. Staff very helpful.
Walking distance from all the major tourist spots!
I stayed two nights, I made quiet a good choice on this hotel. Check-in was smooth, and the hotel seemed new and super clean. There were small shampoo, conditioner, and soap that were enough for my two night stay. The terrace was nice too to relax. In addition, the people there were friendly and helpful! Only thing that I annoyed was the music at one night from some house near the hotel. But what can we say? It was Saturday night in Mexico, everywhere is quiet noisy!
Great new place!
This is a brand new small hotel only a block and away from Zocalo, the center of town. It is within easy walking distance of every attraction in Cuernavaca. The place is brand-new, Tastefully decorated with very beautiful new bathrooms. The staff is friendly and the place has a homey feeling to it. Shops and restaurants are steps away, and it is within walking distance from the bus terminal. There aren't many hotels close to Zocalo in Cuernavaca, this is a welcome addition, and I shall be returning!
I was absolutely thrilled to find this little gem in the heart of Cuernavaca. Large room, comfortable bed, and steps from the zocalo with a variery of restaurants and tourist needs. English option on a wide range of television channels and a kind and helpful staff. No a/c in the rooms but the ceiling fan was enough that I slept comfortably throughout the night. My only concern was my third floor walk up room which faces a guest patio where the smokers gathered and might have been a problem for light sleepers had there not been a rainstorm to keep down the chatter. But the management was quick to address my concerns and offered to switch rooms if I felt uncomfortable. By far one of the best bargains in Cuernavaca and I have stayed in many throughout the years. Don't expect a fancy breakfast, coffee, cookies and nananas and apples were the only choices but, gor the price, you can afford to take the family to one of many restaurants just outside your door. Frida Kalo will certainly be my choice when I return next year. And good news for those coming in from Mexico City by bus. The downtown drop terminal is clise enough to walk. What a great find! But with only a dozen rooms zi only hope I can get a reservation. Thank you to the staff and owners. Cuernavaca needed you!
