Some renovations clearly going on. Panels of wood left in the hallway and loose wires in the bedroom. Mattress was very hard and cheap. It's Trevlodge quality for anyone in the UK. Great location and friendly staff. Once the renovations are hopefully finished it would be a perfectly acceptable cheap stay. Don't let some of the picymake you think this is a luxury hotel.

Nice location to stay, but the room felt still under constructio

Wonderful stay, the staff was very nice and helpful. The area around is wonderful for dining and mostly everything can be reached by walking.

Great location! Easily walkable to Skadarlija and Knez Mihailova. Staff are very friendly - we received early check in and a room upgrade upon arrival :) The room conditions could have been better, as the faucet head was loose and some carpet stains and exposed wires could be seen. Overall a pleasant place to stay for price and location.

This hotel is old and not very clean. It’s under some construction. Very basic. Great location.

Hotel is undergoing some room renovations at the moment (June 24). However didn’t notice any associated noise. Rooms are fairly basic, but clean and functional. It’s in a great location, near bars, shops and restaurants. Taxi from the airport was approx £20 or €22. Don’t fall for the touts at the airport, there is a taxi booth that arranges fixed prices. The touts were quoting €90. So beware.

Great location.. hotel could do better.

Great location is the heart of bustling Belgrade. If you want some fun nights out, it’s the place to go. Recent refurb and it looks like they are still ironing out issues like lack of WiFi (at least on floor 4). Curtains in our room would not close. Poor design -see pic. Staff looked overwhelmed on a busy evening. Room was modern and bed very comfortable. Interesting layout, see other pic. Overall, if you’re after some fun times in Belgrade, give it a go. I’m sure they’ll address the few issues we had in time. Value was good after all.

The location of this hotel is excellent - and that is its best asset. The aesthetics/ decor of the rooms are nice too. Unfortunately, our experience beyond that was very bad. Our room wreaked of cigarette smoke despite being a non-smoking room (I never knew how much the smell of cigarettes would keep me awake). The bed pillow felt like sleeping on a large rock. And the noise from the pedestrians below was incredibly loud well into the night (and the room had decent windows, from what we could tell). One of us slept so-so, and the other one was never able to fall asleep due the noise, hard pillow, and outrageous stench of cigarettes. Never again!

Good horel and location. Something to enhance is the wifi cocerage. I was in P02 wnd sometimes it was disconnected

The no elevator situation is a real inconvenience. The bathroom had an undesirable odor that wouldn’t dissipate and they had no way to address. The staff were nice and the room was roomy but did not have room darkening shades

Nice centrally located hotel

The staff were very helpful and accomplished - how the room was very light (day and night) the curtains were paper thin letting in the street lights. It was impossible to get cold water from the taps and there was constant building work taking place. However the hotel was in a great location.

Not a good stay

Room smells like mold from the entry. Ceiling has water stains from the a leak. Carpets are dirty and shower is in horrible condition.

The last day of our stay it seems they turned off hot water to our room. Had to take a cold shower. Their jacuzzi/shower sucked even with hot water. Then the room flooded from the wall. Soaked our luggage in toilet water. Our bags smell like crap now. I could have forgiven that, but then the staff tried to blame it on us saying we damaged the room. She asked if we were using the jacuzzi when it happened. Are we not supposed to bathe? Would it be our fault if the bathtub leaked? Even though I took a video when it happened and reported it to them immediately. Thankfully, their handyman came and said it was a leak. We weren’t able to stay until check out time. We had to change clothes in the bathroom while their staff was in our room. Then they didn’t even offer any compensation for our ruined bags. She apologized after saying she just blamed us because in the year that she worked there it has never happened before. Well, I’m my 40 years of staying in hotels I’ve never had toilet water flood my room and ruin my bags, but I wasn’t mad until she blamed us for their crappy plumbing. And one day we came back to find part of a fake eyelashes in our sink even though that day we had a do not disturb sign on the door.

Nice hotel, located in the heart of Bohemian quarter, Skadarlija. Walking distance to Kalemegdan, Knez Mihajlova etc There is no parking on premises, but there is a parking lot nearby by , in Cetinjska street

Mann hat keine Ruhe zum schlafen, es ist sehr laut. Die Musik von nebenan ist sehr laut die ganze Nacht. Also die Geschäftsläute die schlaf brauchen, haltet euch fern von dem Hotel Das Schloss an der Tür fällt heraus, die Baustellen in der nähe einfach ein Haos!!! Das ist kein Hotel der soviel pro Nacht kostet!!!

Good but…

The stuff are really helpful and amazing, but Let’s me be clear, this Hotel in great location but it’s not good for elderly people, or if you traveling with heavy luggage (because the hotel located in area can’t reach by car). You need to carry your luggage throw stairs to reach the first floor where you can take the elevator.

The room was very dirty. There was spilled coffee down the walls, scraps on the wall, hair in the jacuzzi, stains on the carpet and chair. The only saving grace was the incredible staff. They were so friendly and helpful!

Nice hotel in a good location for a good price. The staff are wonderful and I enjoy their energy.

Perfect location and great price too!

The place has a great location in the heart of the Bohemian District and only 5 minute walk to the main square and main attractions. The fortress is only a 20 minute walk. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. I don’t know how their breakfast is because I did not pay for it (Mainly because there are so many cheap bakeries and cafes everywhere that I saw no need for a big buffet style, though it was cheap). The parking is an arrangement with a nearby parking lot behind the hotel for $17 per day, as the hotel is on a pedestrian only street.

excellent stay

Heritage Hotel overlooking Skadarlija is a must!

This heritage building hotel has one of the best locations in Belgrade, overlooking the main, historical dining street, Skadarlija, so if you enjoy the best food and great, live music, this is the place to stay. The location and vibe is only matched by the staff and their superb, friendly service. Recommend The Bohemian to anyone who wishes to have an authentic Belgrade experience.

Excellent location but badly built

Excellent location and room was big but the walls are paper thin so you can’t sleep with ppl in the walk way or next door. Also spa room has no shower.

Great Place to Stay!

My first time in Serbia, I don’t speak the language. The staff all spoke English, we’re all so friendly and accommodating. I was there for a week and it was like being with family by the end of it. I would 100% recommend.

Hayal kırıklığı

Ailemle konakladığımız bu otelde bize verilen oda resmen lağım kokuyordu. Daha sonra odamızı değiştirdik ancak bize daha düşük fiyatlı olan küçük bir oda verdiler. Ve odalar arası çok gürültü geçiyordu. Ayrıca minicik camları ve aşırı yüksek dışarıyı göremedik hiç. Tek artı tarafı otel cadde üzerinde değil trafik sesi hiç gelmiyordu

Ett enkelt hotell i mycket trevligt område. Inget fancy hotell men det funkade för ett par nätter. Läget är det bästa, nära till allt och trevlig personal

Price-performance.

Very nice location, 7-8 mins to republic square. And kind reception. Live music continues up to 2-3am,if you’re sound sensitive, no chance to sleep in the room.

We were upgraded to a better room which in itself was a really nice gesture. However, the new room was located at the street side. The noise from the street until 3.00 am was so loud that I played a rain sound on my speaker to get some sleep. I asked for another room but I was told that all the rooms are loud since the hotel is located in the city center. Nice if you want to be in the middle of the party scene but I won’t stay there again.

Inte fler gånger

Personal i receptioner inte tillmötesgående när vi ville få byta rum. Påtalade problemen flera gånger men ingen som helst vilja att lösa detta för oss. Den unga personalen satt mest och tittade i sina mobiler när man gick förbi. Rummet under all kritik, inte alls vad vi betalde för. Mögel i badrummet samt stark os av mögel och avlopp. Ögonen sved. Hål i väggar efter tidigare dusch, krokar till handdukar satt löst i väggarna, duschblandaren lika så. Gammal smuts i hela rummet samt badrum. Vägguttag i rummet utan skydd samt en del lossnat helt. Skrivbord mkt slitet. Helt enkelt sunkigt rum. Ett hotel vi aldrig kommer att åka till fler gånger. En ros väljer vi att lämna och det är till restaurangpersonalen, jättetrevliga och god frukost.

Tog tid att få till en åtgärd som jag bad om. Hittade små kryp i lakanen, vilket inte var trevligt

Bra vistelse men tyvärr ingen fungerande Wi-fi alls för oss på rum 401!!

Rezervasyon yaptığımız odayı farklı bir misafire verdikleri için farklı bir odada konaklamak zorunda kaldık. Oda gider kokuyordu ve havalandırma problemi yaşadık. Tavan arasında bir oda olduğu için tavandaki camları açamadık ve havasız kaldık. Oda temizliği yapılmıyor sadece yatak örtüsü düzeltiliyordu. Temiz havluları 3 gün sonrasında alabildik. Şampuan, duş jeli ve sabunlarımız yenilenmedi. İstemek durumunda kaldık. Otel personeline bu gibi problemleri söylediğimizde ise kaba ve çözümcül olmayan yaklaşımlar aldık. Her gün odamızı bir sonraki gün değiştireceklerini ve yer bulunmadığını söylediler fakat 5 gün boyunda odamızda herhangi bir değişiklik yapılmadı. Otel yakınındaki sokak oldukça gürültülü olduğu için uyurken çok fazla sese maruz kaldık.
