Cannot beat the location or staff friendliness. Easy to walk to everything and ALL THE STAFF are extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about Aarhus. The breakfast is great with many options…and did I mention the staff…brilliant front desk! Tak!

Xmas winter holiday in Denmark . Good breakfast Hotel location is good , nearby train station, shopping mall and cafes .However, they did not provide daily room housekeeping. No parking in the hotel property . Inconvenient car 🚗 park near the harbour .

Väldigt bra hotell i centrala Århus. Perfekt frukost på tionde våningen. Stort plus med balkong. Lätt att hitta parkering utanför dock fick vi böter fast vi betalat med EasyPark. Snabb in och utcheck. Snabba hissar. Sköna sängar.

Positive surprise

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel and was pleasantly surprised by the room's comfort, the excellent location, stunning views, and delicious breakfast. Exceptional value for the price—I'll definitely be back!

Terrible parking option that are very expensive limited access aswell. Small bathrooms. Staff where super nixe and helpful. Overall was a good experience but not great.

Superb hotel

From the spacious recently renovated room to the superb breakfast in the top floor restaurant, this hotel satisfied in every way.

Great room, spacious and clean. We were on the lowest floor but still had a view of the water. Breakfast was great - plenty of options. Highly recommend!

Friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Right in the middle of Aarhus. Close to large library and public transportation. On street parking is a challenge, but there is a modern parking garage across the street (although a little pricey). Excellent breakfast!!!!

Location

A very serviceable hotel but beware the parking

The Atlantic is a downtown hotel built in about 1960 that has been renovated cosmetically but has some quirks. There is no AC and no way to regulate the room temperature at all. A phone number is provided to change the temperature. Fortunately we were on the top floor with a balcony so we just opened the door. Being on a busy city road led to noise with a door open. Fortunately it seems to become quiet around 11pm on weekdays. If you need parking do not trust that just because you requested it , you will have it. We were told that you need to contact the hotel directly for parking not just in the special request box where we also requested extra towels during the booking process. By the way we got the towels and not the parking. Since we arrived during a monsoon of a rainstorm and were expecting the inside building parking , we were annoyed even before checking in. From the public parking on the side of the hotel we dragged heavy luggage in the pouring rain. No explanation was offered as to why this special extra step of contact for parking is needed nor why it is not made clear on the booking site.No apology was offered. On the plus side the harbor view is nice and the bed is a comfortable king. The breakfast is good with a good selection. There is no restaurant but a tiny bar in the lobby fills that function. Overall it is a functional hotel for both business guests and tourists.

A great choice for spending time in Aarhus. Staff were lovely and our room was spotless. We were lucky and we're on the 8th floor so kept our window open at night - not sure how traffic noise would have been lower down. Breakfast was excellent - a good selection and all good quality to set you up for the day, especially as food in Denmark is pricey. Well located to get to the main sites and close to the areas for good bars and restaurants - I would definitely chose to stay again if ever back in Aarhus.

The hotel was clean and tidy, even though there was building work going on. Good breakfasts and accommodation was very comfortable. Easy walking distance to city centre.

Felt appreciated and welcomed

The fellow who checked me in was pleasant but that is about all the good I can share about my experience at this hotel. The site indicated that on-site parking was included but it is not. The parking garage elevator is broken. When I used the stairwell after getting to my room because one of the two passenger elevators is out of service and the other one is slow, I discovered that the stairwell goes outside of the building to the parking garage where I ended up stuck with no egress. I could tell that the parking garage had not been used in a very long time. Breakfast the next morning was fine but I will not return to this hotel.

The Admiral is a very nice hotel. Our room was spacious and clean. The location is great, right on the water a couple of blocks from Nyhaven. We enjoyed our stay.

Nice hotel in city center. The area around the hotel is noisy and a bit messy.

Staff was very unhelpful and not accommodating at all. Beds - TERRIBLE. Literally felt like broken - super soft. Bfast limited selection with not a good coffee. Location was the only good thing about this place.

We really enjoyed our harbor view suite - tons of room for a family and a fantastic view. The breakfast was lovely, but make sure you make a reservation on the weekend or you will have a difficult time using your breakfast benefit. If you like to sleep with your windows open, the surrounding area gets very loud at night due to the nearby nightclub and bars. Our main complaint here was the parking. We paid $27 USD to park in the garage which is perfectly fine, however at check out your parking becomes deactivated as it is associated with your room key. We wanted to get lunch after checking out, and parked in what the receptionist said was the “free parking on Sunday lot” adjacent to the hotel. Since we don’t speak Danish, we trusted the reception that we could park there. After only being parked for a brief period, we had a $100 parking ticket. Very disappointing as we had already paid over $100 to park at Hotel Atlantic that week.

Lovely hotel - tired in places, great location

Pleasant stay despite being next to the lift! no free upgrade, beverage or late checkout available. Free parking was very limited and not available so had to park on the street and pay. Hairdryer was in pieces and dangerous - reception came with another one - not great but worked. Comfy small room, with balcony. In need of updating in places. Staff lovely and excellent breakfast

Pleasant stay

Good location near restaurants and train station. Great breakfast with stunning views. Only thing they forgot to offer was the drink credit: 75KR, perhaps because desk-clerks were so young. Nice clean city.

Central location. Breakfast was varied and plentiful with a great vista from the 10th floor. Gluten free bread for my partner was no trouble at all. All the team was lovely, particularly Kristina in reception was a stand out, always smiling and answering any questions.

Central comfortable hotel

Hotel was excellent. Very clean and modern decor. Quite close to the train station and town centre for exploring. Breakfast on the rooftop for views of the town.

The location was ideal and the hotel was great.

Hotel was easy to find from railway and bus station. Travelling around was thus easy. Main shopping streets and lots of restaurants and cafes close by. Well behaved but exuberant crowds of friendly English speaking Danes.

Friendly and accommodating check in by Ms Kristina, for both me and my bicycle. Lovely room with a gorgeous view.

Greit hotel, money value. Fint område i resepsjonen. God service. God frokost med topp utsikt. Sentralt beliggende. Litt slitne bad og toalett. Balkong (liten). Gode senger.

部屋が広々しておしゃれで綺麗で快適だった。ハーバービューも良かったです。近くにフードコートがあり、色々な多国籍料理が楽しめるのも良かった。近隣の風景も綺麗で、わずか2日の滞在でしたが非常に満足しています。

Dårlig tid til morgenmad.

Dejligt hotel, men jeg kommer ikke igen, hvis jeg kun har 45 minutter til at spise min morgenmad. Vi var 4 voksne og 4 børn og så når man det altså ikke. Alt andet var fremragende.

Super god placering i Århus tæt på alt. Dejlige værelser og indretning. God morgenmad som serveres på 10 etage, med god udsigt. Godt med mulighed for kaffe og te på værelset.

Der var ikke særlig rent på værelset og der var lange hår i badekarret. Værelset var kogende varmt, bad dem 2 gange om at skrue ned for varmen. Man skal ikke have klaustrofobi hvis man skal bruge hotellets parkering mini elevator for at komme derop og bilelavator

Fin tjekken og ud. Rigtig lækker morgenmad. Badeværelset på eneværelset var ikke ordentligt rent. Døren derud til var beskidt og havde kun 3 ud af 4 skruer i håndtaget. Afløbet lugtede, der hang et sort kønshår på væggen ved bruseren, pakningen i håndvasken skal afkalkes eller skiftes, vandet sprøjtede når man tændte for vandet. Glassene på badeværelset var ikke rene. Radiatoren på værelset blev pludselig tændt og den larmede med klonke-lyde og det blev alt for varmt. Det virkede indelukket og som at det er længe siden værelset er blevet brugt. Der var også fedtefingre på sengegavlen. Alt det man ikke gider møde.. Men meget lækre hovedpuder, skøn udsigt og virkelig lækker morgenmad. Jeg anbefaler gerne hotellet, for det er lækkert, men opfordrer samtidig til optimering af rengøring og vedligehold på værelse 914 hvor jeg boede.

Fremragende ophold!

Beliggenheden er meget fin, central og med busser, letbane,"Åen" og fantastisk vue over havnen. Receptionen er venlig, afslappet og yderst hjælpsom. Hotellet er ikke spritnyt, men fremstår velholdt. Dejligt, at man kan fravælge daglig rengøring, som jo egentlig bare er miljøuvenligt og reelt unødvendigt! Meget anbefalelsesværdigt - vi vender ihverfald tilbage :-.)

Dejligt ophold. Virkelig dejligt hotelværelse med udsigt til Dokk1. Et lidt gammeldags udtryk på badeværelset, men fuldt ud opvejet af badekaret. Savnede lidt større valgfrihed i forhold til tider til morgenmaden.

Perfekt beliggenhed og gode værelser

God og meget central beliggenhed. Fin og dyr parkering på taget. Morgenmad lækker men logistik omkring buffet og særlig kaffe dårlig - meget kø som når man bliver jaget væk efter 40 min giver lidt tid at spise i.

45 min til at spise morgenmad er alt for lidt tid. Toiletrulleholderen var ikke sat ordentlig fast, hvilken var mega irriterende

Ingen parkering til store biler. Havde kun 45 min at spise morgenmad i.. Sengen var alt for bløde, fordi der for mange der har sovet i dem... Sengetøjet klør, ved ikke hvad de har vaskede det med.

God beliggenhed centralt i Aarhus. God morgenmad. Lækkert værelse med god seng. Parkering spiller max.

Århus sightseeing.

Super centralt beliggende hotel og med skøn udsigt over Århus by. Her bor man i gå afstand til centrum og der er god betjening på hotellet. Det er ikke sidste gang vi er her og vi kommer igen.

Vi återkommer

Förhållandevis stort rum, snyggt och vettigt möblerat, i gott skick. Värmen lite knepig, kommer i perioder och kan inte regleras, så det blev lite i varmaste laget ibland. Ingen luftkonditionering.Trevlig personal. Suverän frukost. Bra läge, ingen restaurang på hotellet men många i närheten. Svårt med parkering och dyra parkeringshus (vi kunde inte utnyttja hotellets egen parkering då hissen inte klarade vår bil).

Min favorit i Århus

Rigtigt fint ophold. Hotellet ligger centralt og har god udsigt. Værelserne er hyggelige og morgenmaden ligger i den gode ende.

Godt hotel, central beliggenhed, værelse, senge og dyner rigtig godt, fremragende morgenmad, serviceret af venligt personale, det eneste der dumper er badeværelset, badekaret for smalt og glat, haner både i bad og håndvask kalket til.

Fräscht hotel med bra läge nära både tågstation, promenaden utefter vattnet och citykärnan. Också mycket nära det perfekta stället för måltider, Aarhus Street Food. Trevligt att gå utefter vattnet till Aarhus Ö.
