TOO LOUD
It was a nice place to stay EXCEPT ONE BIG PROBLEM. THEY'RE UP UNTIL ALL HOURS OF THE NIGHT CARRYING ON PLAYING MUSIC ETC EVEN THE GUY THAT WORKED THERE WAS PARTYING WITH THEM
This was my first time staying in a hostel. Overall I give it 4 stars because it was generally clean and there was AC (I came in August and it’s the hottest month in Italy). I stayed in the 8 person room with boys and girls. Listening to some of my other friends who’ve stayed in many hostel, they pointed out that this hostel wasn’t very sociable. There are common areas for people to mingle, but there are no events or specific meet up times, so it can be clicky. But once the weekend came there were more people so it wasn’t a problem meeting friends. The hostel is right next to a grocery store in case you need basic items, and the hostel does provide food but I didn’t try it since the grocery store was so close. There’s a huge market behind the hostel every Sunday so check that out if you’re around for it. The only part of the staff I didn’t appreciate was that I had emailed them several times before my arrival and they never responded. Otherwise I had a great time here and made some friends that I will never forget!
Close to metro with 24hr check in. Comfortable bed and reception/breakfast area looked nice- but didnt stay long enough to experience. Cash deposit upon arrival unexpected. Arrived late and was brought to room in a building across from street. In the morning went to leave and exited a wrong door in hallway and became completely locked in the building next door- all doors locked to get out and door to get back in also locked. Feared missing my flight. Banged on doors. A lady from a door which opened to a gym on the otherside heard me banging and let me through. Was in a hurry to leave, not sure staff understood the seriousness of what had happened.
Shower area is very small. Other than that it is a great place to interact with others.
Great value in a great location
Had a great time here for a short trip and highly recommend this hostel. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful with a wealth of knowledge on the local area and what to see and do in Rome. The atmosphere was great. The hostel is close to Roma Trastevere station and has trams at its door and bus stops nearby. This will be my home when I next visit Rome. Rooms are clean and basic. Linen is provided and you will wsnt to bring your own towel and toiletries. The lockers are outside of the room so don't forget a lock Some of the shared rooms offer single beds instead of a double bunk which is brilliant.
No good choice for the family. They want to charge you for towels and everything. No recommended.
I absolutely love the location which was central to most of the tourist attractions, and the local shops. The bed were super confortable, clean and the room were spaces. Thankfully i was in a mix dormitory where the people were very respectful. The staffs were friendly and welcoming and the manager was very helpful and professional. Cons: Poor communication and update relating to room reservations. Staff failed to email prior to my arrival that I had to change rooms half way during my stay which was a huge inconvenience. Cleanliness: the cleaners needs to reconcile with some nice smelling disinfectant when cleaning the floor bc of old urin smell and old water. The kitchen staffs needs to make available clean dishcloths and tea-towels to their guest due to high traffic of user's. I would stay there again, but make my own personal adjustments when using the bathroom.
Very accommodating staffs and clean
I left this hostel with flea bites all up my leg. super gross. definitely have a bug infestation. has a lot of potential but cleanliness needs to be prioritized.
Quality hostel
Clean hostel in a new building, conveniently located
Really appreciate assistance and service from staff
G
The hostel was fully booked, and the four-person room was not available, so I stayed in a five-person room for one night. I was moved to the room I had booked for the next day. Overall, I had a good time in Rome and at the hostel where I stayed for two nights. The hostel is clean, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is good. It is close to amenities, and the bus stop, which takes you to the city center, is only 2 minutes' walk away.
Pros: Great staff and location. Cons: the bathroom in my room was cleaned only one time in 3/4 days and guests were also smoking in the room, so no smoke detector.
More restrooms would be good. I had to wait for my roommate to finish showering, or for the one in the hall to be free.
Great lounge areas. Nice and quiet. Decent priced breakfast options.
Overall it’s an ok hostel, relatively clean but there was a bad drains smell in the bathroom. Staff were good and beds comfy, would prefer lockers in the room so you don’t have to go to reception each time you need something from your bag. Nice to have free dinner but I would rather pay to have something tastier, it felt like it was leftovers from somewhere else
Good people. Friendly staff. Visitors were also good. Clean and under new management.
The place was fine, just average, nothing to really do there.
There are better hostel in the are for less cost
Some rude staff, no soap in bathroom, not enough hot water, no privacy in bathroom in coed dorm room
Very good value for money, especially for a family. We were extremely pleased to find this, as reasonably priced accommodation for a family of 5 is often hard to find. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable. Being able to use the kitchen facilities was a bonus, and the children especially loved being able to have fresh pancakes for breakfast.
I was a bit sceptical before coming here but was pleasantly surprised. It was a really nice hostel with really friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were simple but comfortable and clean! The design of the communal spaces is really great and there’s a lounge area with tv and cushions, a laundry area with machines, a computer/work area, plus a whole seating area and kitchen. Trastevere the hip neighbourhood is about a 20-minute walk down one street to get to so super simple, and within 25-minutes of walking you’re at the Forum and Coliseum. FYI Rome is the perfect city to walk around. There is amazing history everywhere you walk.
Good
Overall good.
I was scheduled to fly in from the U.S. at 8am but check in time wasn't until 3pm. Marco was nice enought to let me leave my luggage in storage there until check in time. never riding the metro and traveling alone was overwhelming, but he gave me directions and also told me what stop to get off. all the staff was very helpful and the girl at check out told me where to go when I needed to catch a train to Naples. overall it was a lovely stay in a comfortable place. great experience for the first time staying in a hostel. I felt safe the entire time and my dorm mates were also very nice and it was very clean. would definitely recommend and stay again.
Nice place but location could be a problem for som
We booked the room as a place to sleep on our way to the airport from Rome. The hostel is a bit away from major landmarks but it's ok if you are on a budget or are fine doing short bus rides. You can also walk 1/2 to many tourist spots. The room was really nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I have no bad thing to say about it
Very nice hostel. Good ambiance
Great hostel great people. Bit more mature than a party hostel but still a good time with good people. The staff were very friendly and a 24 hour receptionist was very useful
Fantastic rare find in Rome. Clean, comfortable rooms--Air conditioning works. Nicely decorated, inviting and attractive. Great location, except it is difficult to get to as it is tucked in between several buildings and behind gates, but once you're there, you are very close to trains and buses. No extras (bring your own soap and shampoo), but a GREAT hotel (really not a hostel) for a great price! We stayed here twice while in Rome and highly recommend.
No swimming pool
The hostel didn't really feel like a hostel - staying in the double room, it felt like it was a cool hotel. However the main reason for booking this place was the pool. The pool is in a gym around the corner that has no affiliation with the hostel whatsoever and the ticket was 25eur which is pretty crazy. Other than that it's close to the tram line and convenient to head out to Trastevere or explore the sights.
personal
This is the 2nd time I stayed at this location. When I checked this time in the guy was not friendly at all. I just asked why we did not have a T.V. in our room. I had one in my room earlier in the week and he made me feel like it was the dumbest thing ever. I payed more money to stay and got less. The hair dryer also did not work, which we specifically asked about before check-in.
Was fine. Some repair done at night. But I was awake.
Eat early!
Breakfast was amazing! However, right after we filled our plates, a large group of young guys came in coughing directly into their hands and then touching all the food. So here’s a tip - go the breakfast buffet 10 minutes early and be the first in line! Coffee was from a push button machine. Nicer to have fresh brewed coffee. After reading former reviews, I think we got the official “broken curtain” room - the curtain is still broken! The bathroom could use a hook or two and faucet broke off in my hand. Hmm..still, just a few small changes could make this place wonderful and a great bargain!
Family stay
Very reasonable price and comfortable for a family.
Friendly no-frills hotel
This was a last minute booking after an air traffic controller strike forced a change of plan. The hotel looked to be in the right place in the Travestere district, and not expensive. We managed to get a room with twin beds and two bunk beds - all that was available. It's a modern hostel. Rather than a hotel with lots of facilities it has a quirky social and bar area plus breakfast room and courtyard. We didn't take breakfast or explore the advertised indoor pool or sauna. However, staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful. The room could have been better furnished with storage space and for some reason didn't have bedside lights. The bathroom was adequate - and the rooms were always cleaned thoroughly. However 4 people would have struggled with the available space - fine for a couple. The eastern end of Travastere is not the trendier touristic area - with some good restaurants and bars. But we liked being situated amongst ordinary Roman people. The transport links by bus and tram to central Rome are very good, but we walked in most days taking in the sights and bars en route.
Ottima struttura
Cómodo y conveniente
Alojamiento de fácil acceso. Bien ubicado.
The way they treated us was just lovely! My friends and I felt very warmly welcomed and, when we found out they have a foosball table, it really did start feeling like home. It's such a pity we only got to stay there for three days.
I like it
Posizione eccellente
Eine Ablageflaeche im Bad waere nett gewesen.
Avoid
This hostel has several issues and the management seems unwilling to do something about them. My room was infested with bed bugs, and I got bites all over my body after staying here. The bathroom/shower was supposed to be private, but was accessible to other guests. There were no clean sheets on the bed, and no curtains for the windows. The air conditioning was leaking water on the floor. On the good side, I had no issues with the staff, and the location was ok.
El mejor hostel de Roma. Recomendado!
It’s very good location
Personnel accueillant très professionnel
I did not like the place very noisy. It was not clean stuff was really rude and they don't actually have access to people who is not able to work. Let's say people in wheelchair further they did not were conscious about the issue that that means. Hated The place I recommend not going to the creep house.
