Great located.

This Hostal is well located. In the middle of Madrid. Rooms are small, but there are nice one. Most of the places are in walking distance. This place is more for friends, Couples or byselfs, not for big families.

good for the price

my stay was a quick one night however for the price it is a pretty good option, very central location close to metro, be careful - some rooms do not have windows!

Small but clean, good and cheap hotel

Not all rooms but our room was small. But rooms was clean and cheap. Location is very good because it is close to the Puerta Del Sol square which is the city center (approximatelly 5 minutes by walking). Totally, I recommend this hotel.

A great find

The hostal was everything I was looking for---good price, great location, clean room, helpful staff. The airport transfer that they arranged for me so I wouldn't have to hassle with my 3 bags on the subway during rush hour was prompt and reasonably priced.

I will stay there again

The hotel was easy to find and very accessible to and from the subway from the airport. Jose is a gem and very friendly, courteous, helpful, and above and beyond the usual hotel clerk. The hostal is on a quiet street that is just off the Gran Via and about 2 blocks from Puerta del Sol. There is no food option with the hostal, but many restaurants, including a very good vegetarian one, are within a few minutes of the hostal.

The hostal is very well located. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Our room was a bit on the small side for a double but really good. Would stay again.

very good location !

Everything was fine but my small room DIDN'T have a window and lounge area also was windowless ! So strange !Both receptionist Josef and David are really helpfull and professional. I spent 2 nights in November 2012 and however is dark very quick, I felt quit safe in this hotel and in surrounding area.

great location

The location was great (right off Gran Via). Beds were singles next to one another. If you don't plan on spending much time in your room its good value for money.

Fabulous location

Rooms are tiny but very clean. Location is fantastic. We had a scarey medical situation and as none of the staff spoke English this made things very difficult. Apart from that the staff are very nice and the hotel clean and centrally located

Perfect location and value for money!

Madrid is such a great city that all I would want from a hotel room (especially in the summer months) is a place to lay my head. Hostal Regio is perfectly positioned (on third floor of the building which is signed Hostal Mendoza) steps from Gran Via. Our room (301) was pretty small with space for 2 beds a desk and chair and little else, the bathroom was sufficient, but great value for money and perfect for our needs. Free wifi also included which was useful. If you're looking for value for money and a room for a night, this place fits the bill.

Excellent

Excellent. Perfect location: walk to historic area and Metro. New and clean. Even though it is hostal, you have your own bath and toilet. You should leave room key when you leave. You can come back any time. They change sheets and towels. Bring your own shampoo and soap. TV with remote. small balcony. They set temperature and they ask you not to change the setting. If you open the balcony door, it is noisy outside until 1 am.

Cheap and cheerful

The hotel was easy to find and is close to most of the places one would visit in a trip to Madrid. It is a bit odd in that it occupies the third floor of a large building with another hotel two floors below. Staff were helpful and our stay was a good one. The room was basic but for the price it was good. I think I would stay here again on a future visit.

Buena elección

Personal muy amable en especial la nica Vanessa, muy buena ubicación, a pasos de lugares históricos y comercios, a pesar de lo céntrico mucho silencio. Buen wifi.

Buena ubicación, pero sucia la cama.

El hotel se encuentra en buena zona y el personal es muy amable, sin embargo el cuarto me pareció muy sucio, me tuve que dormir encima de las cobijas ya que al abrir la cama no había sábanas y las almohadas estaban amarillas del uso, lo cual fue bastante desagradable. El baño era lo único limpio y renovado de la habiatacion . Anteriormente me he quedado en otros hostales en la zona por el mismo precio y mucha mejor calidad en su limpieza .

Acomodação funcional à ótimo preço no coração de M

O Hostal Régio está muito bem localizado, com fácil acesso ao metrô e a serviços como livraria, farmácia, lanchonete, lavanderia e minimercado. O serviço de atendimento é atencioso e o quarto embora pequeno, oferece o necessário para uma estadia de curto prazo. Pela acomodação e pela localização o preço cobrado é muito bom.

nice hostel, directly situated in the old city.

we stayed there 5 nights. the personal was very friendly. they give us very good informon about madrid. a very good restaurant is directly on the other side of the street. i will stay there next time.

Molto utile la posizione.,praticamente in centro . Trppo piccola la camera per ospitare 4 persone. Così anche il bagno molto angusto da impedire la normale agibilità.

Rummet luktade avlopp. Väldigt dammigt. Personalen blev irriterad när man pratade engelska.

A localizaçao é excelente perto de tudo e todos os pontos turisticos

Ottima posizione a 2 passi a piedi dal centro

Albergo piccolino e di poche pretese, ma gradevole e ben ristrutturato che si trova al terzo piano con ascensore di un palazzo storico. Il personale non parla italiano ma è gentilissimo e disponibile. Siamo arrivati alcune ore prima del check-in ma ci hanno consentito di lasciare le valigie e fare un primo tranquillo giro su gran via e dintorni. Stanza pulita con wifi compreso. Bagno piccolino ma comodo (non c'è il phon) e la doccia è comunque molto ampia. Nonostante si trovi in centro la buona insonorizzazione con l'esterno rende il tutto molto silenzioso. Per il resto ottimo soggiorno e giudizio positivo.

La ubicación es perfecta, el encargado muy amable, queda en un tercer piso pero siempre están disponibles para el acceso, por el precio es recomendable

Muy bien comunicado, a un minuto de la Gran Vía, pero silencioso. Habitación cómoda, calefacción y secatoallas en baño. Tele, ducha amplia, cama cómoda, personal muy agradable, limpieza.

Boa opção para quem não procura conforto

Este foi o segundo Hostel que estivemos em Madrid e as comparações foram inevitáveis. Cama muito ruim de dormir, colchão velho, água do chuveiro era muito fraca (caiam pingos). Eles não fornecem a chave do Hotel então toda vez que você quer entrar tem que pedir para alguém abrir. Tivemos que ficar aguardando diversas vezes do lado de fora. Apenas 1 funcionário atende todo o Hostel por turno. Limpeza precária, chão sujo e roupa de cama foi trocada apenas 1 vez - apenas na chegada. Nem esticavam o lençol. O preço era bom, a localização é perfeita. Se fizerem algumas melhorias e incluírem café da manhã tenho certeza que retornaria. Mas nas condições atuais não recomendo.

Cheap and suitable for single traveler.

oui, c'est très correct.

Bien situé, tout se fait à pied. Le personnel très gentil quoique leur connaissance de l'anglais limité, ce n'est pas un défaut, ça nous aide à se debrouiller en espagnol et en signe! Seul bémol, la vue de la chambre... room with no view.

Prima

Wij (2 personen), hadden een prima verblijf, Hostal zeer goed gelegen in centrum en nabij Metrostation (Gran Via), schoon en netjes maar onze kamer was wel wat krap en bovendien niet de kamer (met balkon) die wij reserveerden en bevestigd kregen. Correctie zou niet mogelijk geweest zijn, wat uiteraard kan als er inderdaad dubbel geboekt werd. Instructies voor evacuatie/vluchtweg leken te ontbreken. Het was prettig dat de receptie 24 uur per dag bemand was. Goede verhouding prijs /kwaliteit.

Fiquei maravilhado com este Hostel. O quarto é novo, bonito, e relativamente espaçoso para um casal. O banheiro é limpo, e tem box blindex. O funcionário do 1º turno é extremamente atencioso. Tem Wifi grátis. Foi uma das minhas melhores estadias na Europa. RECOMENDO !!!!!!

Zentral gelegenes, empfehlenswertes Hotel

- Kurzurlaub 5 Tage - Single im Doppelzimmer - Bad neu renoviert - Schallschutzfenster, kein Strassenlärm von Gran Via - Klimaanlage kostenlos - Problematisches Schlüsselsystem: Zimmerschlüssel müssen an der Rezeption abgegeben werden, welche theoretisch 24 Std besetzt ist. Jedoch macht die Rezeption auch die Zimmer sauber, so das in dieser Zeit die Schlüssel unbeaufsichtigt sind und für jeden im Hostal zugänglich. Desweiteren ist oft Nachts der Rezeptionist auf der Strasse vor dem Hotel und wartet ob noch Hotelgäste kommen, auch in dieser Zeit sind die Schlüssel unbeaufsichtigt.

Highly recommended!

We had an excellent stay at Hostal Regio! The location is unbeatable, really close to everything. Our room was clean and had everything we needed -it was even cleaned in between our stay. The only con was that the walls are paper thin, so you can hear everything happening in the hallways.

Construindo uma relação duradoura

Já de longa data hospedo-me no Hostal Regio. Localização excelente, funcionalidade do quarto e prestatividade das pessoas que lá trabalham são os motivos desta longa relação.

excelente ubicacion

Utilizamos una habitación triple, que no era espaciosa, ni luminosa y no contaba con placares, ni comodas, ni espacio donde poner las maletas ni la ropa, sin embargo estaba prolija. Se destaca por sobre todo la ubicación del hotel y la disposición del personal para suplir la falta de comodidad y facilitar cualquier pedido que en nuestro caso fue de un secador y balanza para pesar las valijas. También se ocuparon de contratar un remise para llevarnos al aeropuerto. En caso de tener un presupuesto ajustado, se recomienda

Hotelli oli erinomaisella paikalla, aivan pääkadun tuntumassa, siitä oli helppo lähteä mihin vain. Metro parin sadan metrin päässä, turistibussi lähti melkein edestä. Kauppoja, ruokapaikkoja yms. läheisyydessä. Hotellin henkilökunta oli erittäin avuliasta ja ystävällistä, sekä huone siivottiin joka päivä, vaikkemme sitä edes olettaneet. Wifi ja ilmastointi toimi moitteettomasti. Melkeinpä paras hotellimme kahden viikon lomalla, olimme täällä kolme yötä, ja menisin heti uudestaan jos Madridiin menen uudestaan.

Solo puedo decir cosas buenas de este Hostal, la ubicación inmejorable en pleno centro, la atención y el servicio muy muy bueno, la habitación y el hostal muy limpio. Si vuelvo a Madrid algún día, no dudaría repetir en este Hostal.

Ideal por su situación céntrica

Nos sentimos muy acogidos y muy amables. Situado en una calle tranquila y muy céntrica.

Mitten im Zentrum und trotzdem ruhig

Wochenendreise allein. Wer keinen zusätzlichen Service braucht wie Frühstück, Fitnessraum oder Ähnliches und sich wenig dort aufhalten will, weil er ja was unternehmen will, ist gut aufgehoben. Günstig. Kleine Zimmer, aber funktional, vor nicht allzu langer Zeit renoviert. Möbel ok, Betten gut, alles sehr sauber (v.a. Bad), gewissenhafter Zimmerservice, kostenloses WLAN, 24-Stunden-Rezeption. Mitarbeiter zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Negativ: Das Einzelzimmer hat nur ein winziges Fenster zum Flur und nicht auf die Straße und braucht auch am Tag künstliches Licht, Scharfer Geruch nach Putzmittel, Kein Lärm von außen, aber innen hellhörig (Ohrstöpsel hilfreich).

Svært fornøyd. Enkelt, men rent, ryddig, sentralt og svært hyggelig og behjelpelig personale.

Отличное расположение, удобные кровати.

Отель прекрасно расположен: в переулке, но совсем рядом с Гран Виа.. Остановка № 8 экскурсионного автобуса Мадрид Сити Тур прямо напротив выхода из переулка на Гран Виа. Билеты на автобус можно приобрести прямо в отеле - надо только спросить на ресепшн. До площади Дель Соль (0 км Мадрида) минут 20-25 не спеша пешком.. Номера небольшие, но уютные и чистые. При заселении до 15 часов - на ресепшн только горничная, не владеющая английским языком...( с русским у испонцев совсем плохо :-)), НО нашли выход: у горничной есть карточки с испанским и аналогом английских фраз по типу: "Вы можете оставить вещи здесь, но номер будет готов к 13 часам"... После 15 часов дежурят ребята, говорящие по английски.. Отель занимает 3 этаж (кнопка в лифте №3). На других этажах - другие отели... Вход с домофоном, но все без проблем. Вход в отель круглосуточно. Fi-Wi заявлен, как бесплатный, пароль на вход напечатан на памятке около выключателей света, но у нас он так и не работал (может, проблемы с трафиком в конце месяца, но факт остается фактом). При следующей поездке в Мадрид выберу этот же отель!!!!
