Does not get better when it comes to location!!! Walked to every site worth seeing. Feel great! Small room, but it has a microwave and fridge. Very nice “on site” staff. Would absolutely stay again!!!!

Great value stay just off the Gran Via

Great value hotel in Centro location. I think we were upgraded as our 15m room was well over 20m, with balcony (locked access) and an amazing view over Madrid. Like a penthouse suite with awesome sunrises. Excellent small bathroom and great to have a fridge and desk. Note that there is half a flight of stairs up to the reception from the lift and our unnumbered room was another flight up.

Excellent location!!! 100 metres from Gran Via and metro station. Friendly and helpful staff. The room was perfect! The only negative were the bath towels. Not sure about the material, but you couldn’t get dry with them!

Location excellent, staff really bad they stole some of my wife body soap and proceeded to put water inside the bottle, the a/c malfunction on the last day and no help to fix it.

Central location. Metro 1 block away. Lots of food and groceries options. Nice facilities even though a little old. Very clean. Has mini fridge too.

Stayed many times here. Great Location close to Gran Via. Very clean and quiet. My only issue was the Towels are washed with Fabric Softener which makes the towels unable to absorb moisture from your body after a shower. Otherwise Perfect.

The property is in an excellent location for easy access to food, shops, transport, sight seeing etc. It is as described - small basic room, clean and comfortable. It is no frills option but perfect for those who intend to be out and about in Madrid.

La ubicación es inmejorable. La habitación pequeña. Para dos personas muy justo. Sólo las camas, no tiene ni silla ni mesita, tampoco donde apoyar algunas cosas. Sí cuenta con una pequeña heladera y microhondas. El baño pequeño. Muy limpia la habitación y tiene servicio diario. Si el hostal se utiliza sólo para dormir está bien, es conveniente por la ubicación pero no para permanecer allí durante el día. Hay ascensor para subir hasta el piso 4 donde está pero desde el ascensor debe subir por la escalera como faltando medio piso. Tener esto en cuenta si no puede subir o bajar escaleras o cargar el peso de la maleta.

This Hostal is like stay in your grandma house (in a good way) it's cozy and memorable. It's close to Grand Via Metro (4 minutes walk) and close to everything dining, shopping,etc. You need first to make the check in online. I came 1 hour earlier and they prepare my room in 20 minutes, but you can leave the luggage and explore Madrid until check in hour. The room is a great size and has a bathroom (small), you can't hear any noise from outside(that's a plus).The building has elevator but you can't get directly to the floor is just couple steps of the next floor. I really recommend this Hostal to any one.

The room was extremely small and located on 4th floor. Elevator only went to 3rd floor and had to lug our large suitcases up another flight of steps. Bath tub/ shower stall small and aged…but location was great!!! Nearby stores, metro and lots of dining choices. Located just off the Grand Via in the centre of Madrid!

Location was central and convenient, it was nice and quiet in the room. There was a lift to access the higher rooms which was good. Unfortunately, we could not find the remote for the AC. Overall, we had a great experience staying at this hostal!

The property is very conveniently situated at the turn off from Gran Via, near the shopping strip. It’s very clean, though room is small it can accommodate one person with attached bath cubicle, wash basin, mini fridge, microwave and even a small electric kettle. Room is not sound proof, can hear staff talking at reception area and neighbouring rooms. Reception staff do not speak English at all and not hospitable. Got irritated easily when asked some questions but overall, great price for a clean and conveniently located hostel for couple of nights stay in Madrid!

Excellent service and value for money

One the best value for money placed I have ever stayed. Location is great. Super clean. The room had water kettle, coffee/tea, candy and even a microwave.

It's probably my own fault, as I don't speak Spanish. Cleaners, who lives in the property too, were banging on the door of the communal toilet when I am sitting with the number 2 and shouting something in Spanish every time I use facilities. It was quite embarrassing. Eventually, on the fifth day, one of these senioritas confronted me on the way back to my room and explained in mixter of Spanish/sign language that customers are not allowed to use bath/shower in the toilet room. You supposed to go to your room as it is. Sorry girls. Simple sign note on the toilet door would solve the problem. Although, at my poin of view, it woul look ridiculous. Also windows of the rooms face the well. You can here all noisy people around. The rest of my stay was excellent. Thanks

Ladies here are rude, they think they are making you a favor for you to stay there. No politeness at all. They said only to paid in cash. And when you booked they never specify that. Otherwise good location

The location and standard of accommodation was very good… as good any budget Travellodge/Premier Inn.. Situated in the heart of the city, where everything is in walking distance. We were out all day.. coming back to the Hostel was very relaxing… cleanness very good.. Beds very comfortable. This place would not suit someone with walking difficulty’s.. there is a small lift..

Nice hostel

Great location and hostel itself is quiet. It is, however, located solely on the third floor of a building. I don’t know if the fourth floor is a private apartment, however they do own a piano and seem to enjoy practicing late into the night. Like 11pm. If you’re older and don’t party hard, perhaps a quieter place is for you. It’s not the fault of the hostel, but I wish I knew this detail. Will be staying elsewhere on my return.

15 minutes from center of Madrid. great location and Metro is near. Many restaurants near by. Hotel is very clean and basic, microwave and refrigerator. Front desk staff is very polite and didn't speak much English, but just passport and gave your keys. Recommend this hotel. Wifi is strong to use,

Camera molto confortevole con tutto il necessario per trascorrere una vacanza di diversi giorni (frigorifero, armadio e cassetta di sicurezza). Letti comodi, bagno pulito. Posizione centralissima. Unica cosa negativa l'insonorizzazione tra le camere. Si sentiva il rumore dal bagno dei vicini. Buona l'insonorizzazione per il rumore dall'esterno

Un lugar muy bien ubicado, muy muy conveniente, excelente relación precio calidad. Viaje sola y me sentí súper segura. Lo malo sería el ruido de las habitaciones contiguas y el ascensor me dio miedo porque es muy viejito y la cama era muy dura. La verdad lo recomiendo mucho para quedarse en Madrid.

A very good place to visit Madrid's centre!

Normal, es un hostal

Al llegar me dio la llave de la habitación pero aún no estaba lista y me guardó la mochila. La habitación bien con nevera Y hervidor y té y café, muy buen detalle. Tiene ducha y lavabo en la habitación pero el wc era compartido, aunque muy limpio eso sí. No era la primera vez que me alojaba aqui y es una opción muy buena en pleno centro de Madrid.

Trattasi di una struttura per definizione a una Stella posta nel pieno centro di Madrid ad un passo dalla Gran Via. La camera ,pur considerandone appunto la classificazione , si presenta di adeguata metratura e dotata di piacevoli servizi quali frigo microonde e bollitore nonché un piacevole e funzionale sistema di illuminazione con ventilazione a pale integrata. Nota di merito al personale che tutti i giorni puliva la camera e riforniva i piccoli regali di benvenuto consumati. Unica nota dolente ,ma non per colpa dell' hostel, è stato il comportamento degli occupanti di una stanza accanto, che causa anche una non perfetta insonorizzazione ,per i primi due giorni e fino alla loro partenza, arrivavano alle 2 di notte e discutevano ad alta voce per tutta la notte impedendo di riposarsi..ma questo ripeto non dipende certo dall' hotel. Punti di forza la posizione in pieno centro e comodissima alla metro e alle piazze principali, la comodità di accesso alla camera e all' edificio, il personale della pulizia al mattino. Concludendo se avete bisogno di una sistemazione pratica comoda e non avete pretese da Grand hotel il Los Alpes è un ottima soluzione e ne consiglio caldamente la scelta

El aire acondicionado roto desde el primer día. Nunca lo repararon. Dormimos con la ventana abierta pasamos calor. Está época las noches son algo frías en verano no creo qué ubieramos aguantando tanto calor

Excelente atención del personal, alojamiento perfecto, baño impecable y hasta con tina, camas cómodas, con servicio para preparar té/café/ serví bar/microondas. Todo lo que uno necesita, cero ruidos y en la mejor ubicación.

Hospedagem muito boa. Quarto espaçoso e muito limpo. A localização do hotel é perfeifa. O único ponto que pode ser melhorado é a simpatia das funcionárias, mas nada que possa alterar a qualidade do lugar.

Localizacion excelente, calle muy cerca de Gran Via! La habitacion apesar de pequeña, con lo necesario y el detalle de un microondas en la habitacion viene muy bien! Todo lo justo con el precio. Una buena opcion y la repetire.

Ótima localização, silencioso, limpo e organizado. Fiquei em um quarto com banheiro comum, e havia pia e chuveiro dentro do quarto, além de frigobar e microondas. Adorei tudo!

Great and cheap hotel in a nice location. The room had everything I needed and more. Quiet at night time. Easy check-in after hours. The only minor complaint would be the short bed, but aside from that I had a wonderful stay.

Estuvo genial. No puede tener mejor ubicación, en pleno centro en la peatonal del metro de Gran Vía, calle Fuencarral, llena de tiendas. El trato fue de diez y la limpieza también. Nosotras estuvimos en la habitación de arriba del todo, por lo que no teníamos a nadie alrededor. Una habitación amplia que tiene baño privado totalmente equipado, microondas y minibar (aunque esta no enfriaba nada), también como detalle teníamos café, té y un par de bizcochitos. Wifi a muy buena velocidad y Smart TV. Como punto negativo diría que hacía muchísimo calor en el hostal en general y en nuestra habitación sobre todo, menos mal que tenía ventilador.

Empezar comentado que su ubicación es inmejorable. Destacar la limpieza, yo tenía baño compartido y estaba siempre limpio y reluciente. Además el personal fue muy amable. Las únicas pegas , por otro lado normal en un hostal, es la nula insonorización de las habitaciones, y en mi caso al ser alto (1,90) la cama era extremadamente pequeña e incómoda. De todas formas es un lugar recomendable por su relación calidad/ precio.
