I was very pleased with the staff members that helped my family during their stayed

first room had no place to hung up clothes, only night table. second room there was a toilet inside the shower, it was very odd, I had to pick up my soap from the shower and it was so small I hit my shoulder with the water faucett, it was that small, only a child could take a shower there! third room was on second floor, finally a decent room with an armoire to hung up my clothes and a regular shower! Breakfast was just ok, I expected to have fruit like guanabana, strawberries or pineapple. They only offer tiny bananas and manderines. there was a drunk customer shouting at 2 am and I could not sleep after hearing him , he also shut off his door very loudly. Did I mentioned first night I could not sleep because hotel was very cold? they forgot to put blankets in the room!! one pillow was nice, the other pillow was filled out with a very rough material, that felt like horse food. horrible, they should definitely replace towels for big ones and I never had a face towel either. Receptionist were nice, all of them did the best to help me out to change rooms, etc. Please include more fruit choices and better ham and cheese choices. Only really cheap ham and super fat cheese were in the breakfast.

La habitación no era como nos muestran las fotos.. las camas nunca las arreglaron.. nunca tuvimos agua caliente para bañarnos.. y los colchones eran sumamente viejos se sentían los resortes LO PEOR !!!

Enjoyable stay

Though the description on hotels.com regarding kitchenware in the rooms is misleading (but we did manage to have a refrigerator on request), this hotel is excellent value for money at 28.50 USD per night for a double room with private bathroom (shower). The location is very nice and quiet and a short walk from the 28 de Julio express bus station (Metropolitano) which is the quickest way to the centre of Lima. Though not very central in Miraflores, it's within walking distance to both Kennedy Park and Larcomar shopping mall. Breakfast includes a plate of scrambled eggs, fruit juices, breads, jam, butter, olives and cereals. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for budget-conscious travellers.

The area was ok

The room was like a small prison cell with no air to breath and ready hot.

Not bad for a couple of nights like

Wasn't bad. But I've stayed in similar places cheaper. Paid 25 pound per night I'd say it's worth 15 max. Maybe the increased premium was the hot girls in reception. I noticed that they clean round things and don't do a proper job. There's a bench in the yard and it looks like an abandoned cave underneath it.

Cozy and quiet with Character

Cozy Hotel on quiet, safe street just off main roads so within easy walk to bank, 2 grocery stores (Wong is awesome), some restaurants. Longer walk to downtown Mira Flores and Larco Mar which we did. Nice patio, lobby and breakfast area. Above average breakfast with egg, cheese and a variety of breads. Had 2 rooms for 3 days. Strange layouts of rooms and hotel with lots of DIY construction but that provided memorable character. Ventilation was not great and lower room was a bit damp due to misty winter weather. Both rooms had steps down into room and bathrooms were a couple steps above room floor. Upper room also had steps down to 2nd bed so you need to be OK with steps if you stay here. Staff was very nice. Some challenge with English. It was a good stay to start our vacation.

Nice hotel

The hotel is near to the city and the principal atractions. Close to Barranco, Miraflores's Park, Historic Centre. The hotel was clean, save and nice.

Look elsewhere

Such a shame as the staff are amazing but the property is really old, damp and a little mouldy and home to a few too many spiders!

Well located hostal that can improve

I was disappointed for the lack of hot water in my room for 3 out of the 5 days I stayed there. I also heard the same complaint from other guests at reception and the same promises being made to them by staff that the problem would be solved but it was not. Whereas a cold shower really wakes you up for business meetings, I doubt other travellers would share my optimism.

Great Option, we selectec!

The hotel is very nice, the structure is old but it is well maintained just like a museum, the staff is very nice, the owner greets you just if we were a friend of years. The rooms, beds and bathrooms are spacious enough.

After 9 months on the road through South America staying in the complete spectrum of accommodation from 5 star business hotels to back packer and BandB hostals. I approached my last week in LIma and booked this Hostal after reading reviews on Expedia uk. I had a reservation for 5 nights and I was satisfied with the room on arrival and on day 2 paid for seven nights in full - a big mistake. On day 3, i was informed the room was to be decorated and i would have to change. I was offered two other rooms - one family room without adequate ventilation and a smaller cramped single. - I refused both. I was then informed, The Hostal knew of another hotel, they would book me in there and i would change hotels. This was the day after i had paid in full for a weeks accommodation. We had a "discusiion" that moved to reception, where i requested a refund and i would go. That offer was refused. I told them off my intention to complain therough Expedia. The mood changed completely. I could keep the room and I was offered another nights accommodation - for the "misunderstanding". "Please dont write on the website" The following day a large Corporate party arrived and occupied rooms on both my floor and the rooms i had been offered - there were no decorators. The dining room was reserved for Corporate guests and other "guests" were expected to eat in the yard. For the next four days - The room was not cleaned before mid afternoon, The bedding was not changed. I was glad to leave

Muy buen hotel

El hotel está ubicado en una zona de facil acceso a otros lugares. La recepcionista del turno mañana nos orientó y guió con precisión sobre las salidas que podíamos hacer con mi hijo; bus y zonas de interés para conocer. El inodoro estaba tapado y rápidamente lo solucionaron. Muy buen desayuno y muy atenta también la señora que servía el mismo.

Positif: endroit sécuritaire, employer aimable, drap propre, quartier tranquille Négatif: tapis au sol qui donne humidité et odeur horrible, salle de bain salle,nous avons mis une serviette au sol pour sortir de la douche et elle est resortie noir, petite chambre sans fenêtre extérieur,les photos sur hotel.com lui donne un aspect beaucoup plus jolie, mais on se rend compte que c’est du beau travail de photoshop.

Quando chegamos e entramos em um quarto minúsculo com uma pequena janeljanela que dava para corredor fiquei desesperada.carpete com mau cheiro.barulho todo o tempo e banheiro minúsculo.depois da 2 noite pedimos para mudar de quarto e o outro foi um pouco .melhor

Backpacker

Wir waren für 3 Nächte in diesem Hostel. Dias Doppelzimmer war ein bischen stickig jedoch soweit sauber mit täglichem Raumservice. Es war Heisswasser vorhanden zu jeder Tageszeit, jedoch unmöglich zu regulieren (ständig von brühend heiss zu eiskalt). Ansonsten waren wir zufrieden. Diverse günstige Restaurants und auch Einkaufszentren in der Gegend. Empfehlenswert ist es an die Küste zu laufen. (beim mariltt hotel)

Recepcionistas muito solicitas e atenciosas, principalmente a Karin, maite e brenda. Quarto tinha uma mini janela no alto do banheiro que nao permitia circulacao de ar, isso deixa o quarto abafado e humido.

Estafa total, habitación muy incómoda y ruidosa

Llegué a la 1:30 am a descansar, la habitación matrimonial no medía más de tres metros, en tercer piso, escaleras muy empinadas, mucho ruido de equipo de bombeo y puertas chirriantes, no pude descansar nada, por lo que solicité otra habitación más cómoda, al no haber disponibilidad, tuve que solicitar mi retiro, me cobraron las tres noches por adelantado, sólo me quedé una noche, solicité la devolución de mi dinero, sólo me devolvieron una noche porque dijeron que mi contrato era por tres noches y si yo me retiraba me tenían que penalizar con una noche sin haberla tomado. Éste hostal es una estafa total, sus habitaciones no son propias de un hostal, no cuentan con closet, intercomunicador ni teléfono.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado. El servicio de internet a ratos se pone lento. Las camas son muy suaves, deberían revisar el estado de los colchones. El desayuno es bueno, aunque deben aumentar más fruta.

Einfaches Hotel in Miraflores

Personal war sehr hilfsbereit. Frühstück ist einfach. Die erste Nacht hatten wir ein Zimmer ohne eine Möglichkeit die Sachen abzulegen. Ein Bett war nicht sauber. Für Nacht zwei und drei haben wir ein etwas besseres Zimmer bekommen. War dann ok. Rezeption ist rund um die Uhr besetzt.

Not what I expected!

The breakfast had no much options other than bread and they refused to give me eggs..there was no water in the shower and taps for a day. Really disappointed..

Hostel aconchegante

Foi tudo tranquilo, o local é uma graça. O unico ponto negativo é que as paredes são de gesso, então você escuta tudo do quarto do lado e na primeira noite tinha um bebe que não parava de chorar. Isso foi complicado, mas o hostel é muito bom!

No era lo que esperamos, era deplorable por dentro. El techo se caía y rozaba con la puerta, olía a humedad. El desayuno era feo. Lo único rescatable fue la atención del recepcionista de la tarde.

Enumeraré los motivos para hablar en concreto: - No es barato (ni siquiera con el descuento) - No hay ascensor - Las paredes y los pisos son de madera, si el de arriba camina, te despierta - Todo en la habitación en mal estado, la alfombra un desastre - Baño de la habitación enano y la ducha pésima - El aseo de la habitación es deficiente y descuidado - El desayuno es malo - Por ese precio (descuento inclusive) hay mejores opciones alrededor

O quarto era o ponto mais fraco do hotel: pequeno e com instalações velhas. O café da manhã consiste de ovos mexidos com café, suco e pães.

Das kleine Hotel in einer ruhigen und sicheren Seitenstraße liegt nur wenige Gehminuten von den Hauptverkehrsstraßen des Stadtteils Miraflores entfernt, Banken, Supermärkte, einige Restaurants und Cafés finden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Rezeption ist 24 Stunden am Tag besetzt. Nicht alle Mitarbeiter sprechen gut englisch, aber alle sind freundlich, gut organisiert und hilfsbereit beim Ausdrucken von Bordkarten, Einstellen von Gepäck, Taxibestellung u.ä. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist eher bescheiden und manche erweisen sich als recht hellhörig, außerdem verfügen die Zimmer der unteren Preisklasse nicht über Fenster, es wird also leicht stickig und es fehlt einem das Tageslicht. Frischluftfreunde sollten daher bei der Buchung gleich die Junior Suite buchen. Wir konnten beim zweiten Aufenthalt in ein Zimmer im dritten Stock wechseln, wo es dank Fenster lichter und angenehmer war. Sehr nett ist der kleine Frühstücksraum und die immer gutgelaunte Frühstücksköchin, gemütlich ein kleiner Innenhof. Fazit für uns: Freundlichkeit, Sauberkeit und Sicherheit ließen uns bei diesem Preis kleine Einbußen beim Zimmerkomfort schnell verschmerzen.

En General bien un hostal solo para dormir su desayuno demasiado pobre y las gradas peligrosas nos toco un tercer nivel subir y bajar las maletas toda una odisea
