Very central

Very central for torremolinos 5 mins from the train station

Stayed at the Guillot on several occasions particukarly due to its excelklent location. Few problems and generally sorted out promptly and look forward t staying there again next time

Ultra convenient with good staff

Very friendly staff and spotlessly clean with fresh bedding and clean towels every day would definitely stay her again Excellent.

Cheap but that’s it.

It was fine. Wouldn’t stay with family or if going on holiday. It was simply a cheap place to sleep if needed while on business. Parking was a pain.

I don’t suggest it

I reserved form a double and they gave me twin. When I booked the room I supposed it was with private bathroom but it’s not, Into the website is not clear that they don’y offer a private bathroom. Apparently they have not any room With private bathroom. They offer just two small towels. The common bathroom are dirty and mashed. The free parking it’s a nightmare.

Not my first trip here

Stayed at this establishment several times over last 10 years and generally most welcoming. Aside of the guest next door who was an extremely offensive Spanish man

It was very clean and the receptionists were helpful and pleasant.

We found socks under the bed from the previous customers, not very clean and very noisy that we couldn’t sleep.

Hot and frustrated

The room we booked was not cheap! However, we arrived late on a very warm night. The room was very small, no a/c and the ceiling fan was broken. As the room was on the third floor it was extremely hot! The shared bathroom was clean and not far from the room so was ok. We could not sleep well as it was soo hot and the beds not comfortable. From our experience we can not recommend this hotel.

This place was terrible, the guests did not respect others and start talking very loud after midnight. I stayed 4 days and it was the case every night. Talked to the front desk man and he told me people are like that and he cannot do anything. He was not apologetic by any means and not reinforcing the law thatvsays you need to be quiet at hitels after midnight. The rooms have terrible acoustic and you can hear literally everything going on in the hotel. The third day i found colleague from the conference i went 3 weeks ago and we wanted to discuss some collaborations and need it my computer. I walked with him to the hotel and the guy on the from desk told me he cannot come to my room, only people staying at the hotel. We were so disappointed and went to a bar instead. I wont recommend to stay here unless you are the type of guest who does not care about others and plan to make noise after midnight.

the room was clean. Good for one or two nights. I could not feel in that place to good. The older man at reception looked very serious, not to much friendly. Only an older lady was smiled and friendly to us.

Good location, clean, nice staff and affordable I stayed for 2 weeks and was comfortable if you expect luxury you have to pay luxury prices .

Excellent Stay

I was pretty impressed with the hostal. Room was spotless bed comfortable, and the cleaning lady was very helpful. Also the Irish girl was very helpful with local information. 5*

you get what you pay for

very basic hostal. one night stay waiting for apartment to be ready. pictures a bit misleading.

Never again.

You pay for a day and turn up late, as expected. No service. No WiFi. No towels No description of the area. I paid for a bed in a terrible place. Received just that. If you have options, make this your last.

Very pleasant stay

The room was clean and spacious. They have a 24hr front desk which is great if you anticipate arriving late. Central location close to all the bars. I have stayed here once before, they have made many improvements, all new bed linen and the reception and lounge has been renovated. I would stay again .

OK for the price

The room was hot, & not even the fan worked on the ceiling. Whether that would have cooled the room down in any meaningful way, who knows? Not the easiest place to find, but is very well situated close to the railway station & Mercadona. I suppose being under €30 you cannot complain too much.

Basic but good

I just stayed one night in a twin room as I had an early flight next morning. Room was clean, ceiling fan was much needed, no toilet, just a sink in the room but I'm not complaining for the price. Quick check in and out and location was a few minutes walk from the station.

Great hostal stayed many times. It has been refurbed now. Always very clean and good reception.

Nice and close to town centre and train station. Very clean. Basic but well worth the price. I felt safe in property. Tiny bit noisy from other guests mainly just doors closing. Woke up to a couple having loud sex next door at 5.30am lol. Tapped through and it stopped. Must have been her Birthday!. I recommend for holidaymakers on budget. Reception guys fine although one seems tiny bit grumpy which could put u in a slightly bad mood. Enjoy. I did xx

Well located but noisy

The location of the Hostal is great. Nearby subway station, shops, and tourist office. However, the area is quite loud. Didn’t sleep much in the time I was there due to the noise level. The front desk requires that the key to your room be handed in when you leave the hotel (every time you leave for anything) and they also require that you leave the room daily at noon to allow for the room to be cleaned. The service at reception was minimal and a bit abrasive. It took some getting used to.

I’ve stayed here before. Great little hostel good value for money, the reception area has been revamped and looks great. Cleanliness is always excellent.

Easily location to find and easily accessible from the airport(10mins by train) The staff were efficient though a touch brusque.the hostasl is scrupulously clean and I would be happy to stay there again.

Totally unique

Excellent unique Spanish hostel full of original features adding to the experience room was spotlessly clean and serviced daily shared bathroom not an issue as only 8 rooms on each floor and a ladies and gents on each which was also spotlessly clean. Located in a small street off the main square only Added to the feeling of being in the real Spanish heart of the town staff on hang 24/7 to help but in all honesty I had no issues and will definitely return. Peaceful at night too.

Always excellent for my needs as I visit twice a year. The staff are great, it's always clean and good value and nothing changes here. It's dated but I only need a good reliable place to rest my head as I'm a 40+ lone traveller visiting friends

value for money deal

Property is well maintained and looked after, run in good old traditional way. Private room comes with wifi, bed made daily, towels replaced daily, very clean, tv, desk, wardrobe, plenty of space, sink. bathrooms shared, with plenty of hot water and very clean. there is staircase and 3 floors. Located within easy walk to all tourist will need. take to the right if arriving by train follow mcdonalds sign walking palma de mallorca avenue, its off BBVA bank. c1 train from airport cost 3euros, takes 10min. taxi is 18euros. life will be celebrated out loud on weekends anywhere central, ear plugs might be useful. Roubens exchange with best pound rates, tour offers in town and free english newspapers is round the corner. one of the ways to the beach is just walk down calle san miguel. Stay at Guilot went good enough to come back.

Room is more of a hotel standard, located central so everything is easy walking distance: station, shops, beach, eateries. good choice for central Torremolinos stay.

It's next to bars and restaurants on a little square. Well places, inexpensive, clean and very basic.

Cost effective Torremolinos hostal accom

Room and bathrooms were very clean. Free Wi-Fi worked without issue. Staff friendly, though seemed often preoccupied with other matters. Cleaners always smiley. If you don't need a balcony or a pool, and you just need somewhere to sleep, then this is a clean, affordable choice.

Right in Torremolinos Centre, the owners were a lovely couple, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean, as were the shared toilets/shower rooms(x2 on each floor) Great budget accommodation if you plan on being out and about. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the area. Lots to do, and local attractions, cafes, restaurants and bars cost me around half of UK prices. Fuengirola, Benalmádena, malaga and even marbella are all easily accessible via the very cheap and reliable train service run by Renfe. Malaga airport to Toremolinos cost me around 3€ (taxi is 18€) I am planning another trip soon and will definitely stay there again. My only grumble is that Saturday is very busy with all the locals having their weekly night out and was noisy till around 2am.

Basic, but ok for the price. Seemed clean enough. About 5 minutes walk from Torremolinos metro/cercanias. Nothing was stolen, wasn't noisy the night I stayed, sheets and towels seemed clean. So it did the job. Staff not effusively "have a nice day" friendly, but the were ok. Shared showers and bathroom, but sink in room. Showers are solar heated so (in april, at 5pm) it was cold. One toilet/shower per sex on each floor of about 8 rooms. TV in each room and wifi worked fine (on second floor). As a single occupant I got a room with two single beds.

Very good budget hotel

Perfect for a short stay in the centre of town, just a few minutes walk from the train station to the airport. Rooms are basic but functional and clean. My second short stay here and would use again

Basic Pension in Central Location

An overnight stay in Torremolinos before early flight from Malaga. The hotel is close to train station and all of Torre's food/drink options

It is in the town centre within walking distance of beach. The rooms were just ok with washbasin but no bathroom ( 2 bathrooms on each floor) ... but i was pleasantly surprised by the fact that it was squeaky clean everywhere. nice friendly staff.

Central Torremolinos hotel

Excellent central downtown location with all needed services (grocery, shopping, nightlife) City on hill so about a 15 walk to beach. Will probably return on next planned trip. Good warm/hot weather. Helpful staff. Sink in room, with separate male/female shared bathrooms for each floor rooms, but wasn't an inconvenience. No loud neighbors or traffic.

El cuarto era limpio con servicio cada día. El personal de forma mayoritaria amable. Bastante ruido hasta la una de la mañana que se vayan a dormir los vecinos. Baño compartido, alguna vez sucio, pero por culpa de un cliente, no del hostal.

La experiencia fue genial en base a calidad/precio. Está en una zona muy turística, con un montón de restaurantes nada más salir del hostal. Además es posible ir andando a la playa porque no está lejos. Aunque el baño es compartido estaba muy limpio, y había baño para chicos y otro para chicas. En ninguna de las ocasiones que necesitamos usarlo estaba ocupado. Dentro de las habitaciones hay un pequeño lavabo ideal para el aseo personal por las mañanas. Contaba con ventilador en el techo así que no pasamos calor. La habitación también estaba muy limpia, nos dejaron toallas y mantas. Camas muy cómodas. Lo único malo es que por la noche entraba bastante el ruido de la calle, quizás porque era la noche de Eurovisión, pero no era nada insoportable. Por lo general muy buena experiencia!

Schoon en simpele hostel. In centrum gelegen. Geen gratis directe parkeermogelijkheid. Altijd druk, dus niet eenvoudig te vinden.

Good but visitors not allowed for double rooms

I booked a double room. A friend came to visit me and they did not allow him to enter the room. This is not acceptable. This is my only critic.

Hôtel propre bien situé dans le centre de Torremolinos. Attention, toilettes et douches communes.

God value for pengene

Rigtig fint værelse..dog kunne det have været fedt med en dobbeltseng da vi var et par, men det fiksede vi dog ved at skubbe sengene sammen. Værelset var realitivt varmt men det kunne klares ved hjælp af loftfanen. Fællesbadværelse var delt op i mand og kvinde, og på kvindebadværelset var der intet at klage over men min kæreste nævnte at det flød lidt på mandeværelset fx med lidt brugte håndklæder og et par aflagte sko. Husk at medbringe egne badehåndklæder da man kun får små håndklæder som ligger ved ens egen vask på værelset. Prikken over iet ved dette værelse, kunne have været hvis der var et lille mini køleskab. Service var i top 24/7 . Placering er meget centralt og perfekt og nærmest ingen støg fra gaden.
