Everything was great, place was clean, quiet, great location, Mar the lady in charge was very lovely and very helpful, we would recommend staying at Hostal Drassanes without a question.

The owner is very kind and helpful, my bag was delivered by the airline and she brought it up to my room. Prices are great and the room was very clean. Location is a 10/10

If you are traveling alone or a couple this is simple and perfect. You have a bed, shower, sink and toilet. Don’t expect any luxuries. Overall close to a train station and close to the beach.

Una vez que llegamos nos encontrábamos desorientados,ya que no recibí ningún mensaje con indicaciones sobre que hacer al llegar,luego el otro punto en contra es que tenían el aire acondicionado apagado,según por la temporada pero la verdad es que hacía muchísimo calor en la habitación,la habitación tenía muchísimo olor a humedad.

I like none 😡 we are lucky we survive. Lucky we brought a box of tissue from our cruise, first night stay, the bathroom tissue is only good one light 💩. Never again book hostel anywhere !

Hostal Drassanes Perfect Location

The room was very clean especially the bathroom. The walls in the room could use a wash. The bed was comfortable.

They used the recycle paper for invoice and I saw the someone I’d card photo copied at the paper back side. The tv remote not working .

Cleanliness NEEDS work

This place deserved my 4 stars initially, it has elevator, and it's mostly decent. Beds are OK. The bathroom is too dark, needs a brighter light. I felt like they should replace the towels when they have holes or stains; because that is what I received. In my opinion, that's just not acceptable. Location is good, there's a small market nearby which is convenient. Buses and Metros are not too close but not too far, just wish it was closer. At night, the surroundings can get sketchy.

Good central location within walking distance to a lot of places of transport. Very small room no real windows, noise from other rooms and corridor, no kettle to make a tea or just a glass for water. Bed was uncomfortable and short. Its quite cheap in Barcelonas standards, so i found it acceptable, not exciting.

If you’re looking for a simple place to lay your head in Barcelona this is it! Pros: Private Bathroom, Secure Entry, balcony (if requested) Cons: Small space (twin bed), no amenities. Be prepared to speak (at least) conversational Spanish when checking into the hotel. Very friendly and patient staff, but their English is limited.

Perfect location

The place is simple and clean, chrck in and finding again simple. Area was perfect. Supermarket close, waterfront 1 min away, la Rambla 2 mins away taxi stand and tour bus super close. We were out all day so it met our needs to wash and sleep.

This hotel is well located (2 blocks fom Monumento a Colon, 2 blocks from La Rambla and close to metro station, where you can move around Barcelona). Do not expect much for the price. European hotels are expensive for what you pay. Clean but noise. You can save 10% if you book directly with them

Cheap but still could be better

Bed very uncomfortable as the mattress had no movement in it, pillows not great. Loud air con which didn’t do too much and a shower that was either very hot or one notch at the end which was very cold, no in between and it was a rimed one which didn’t last very long. Shower gel was in tiny sachets and was pretty pointless. Excellent location

Good decent place, hardly any customer service

The location is fantastic and there is an elevator to go up to the upper floors which is very nice. My only comment is that there never seemed to be anyone around to help me out or answer questions or help me with a taxi that I was expected from staying there. I rang the buzzer on numerous occasions and rarely there seemed to be an answer. This was quite an issue when the room cards stopped working and we needed to have that fixed. I would probably not stay here again for this simple issue since I like knowing there are staff available for help when needed. The room was fine, clean, and comfortable. I have no other issues other than customer service.

Great location!

We enjoyed our stay here very much. This is a "no frills" hotel and that was just fine with us. We had a bit of a hard time communicating with the owner who checked us in. We know just a small amount of Spanish and he knew no English at all. Despite the language barrier, he was quite pleasant. He tried hard to make sure we enjoyed our stay and recommended some great restaurants in the area. The hotel was just steps from Las Ramblas and the ocean, you can't really beat that location at this price! Overall, I was very happy with my stay and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Best 2 star hotel in the Gothic area.

This hotel is located in one of the best areas of Barcelona. That is "the gothic and the famous La Rambla". The manager showed us the rooms and let us choose which one, the inside quiet or the balcony . The bedroom is well equipped with 2 double beds, a large sized bathroom, a nice tv, and a chair inside and another chair in the balcony. We walk everywhere in the La Rambla visiting many famous churches and the crowded gothic area. We enjoyed our short stay (2 nights) this time and plan to return this hotel on the future.

The staff was cordial but one person spoke some english and one did not speak any english so communication was difficult. There were not enough towels ( 1 each, no hand towel) or pillows. If you needed a dry towel and the maid had already left for the day you were out of luck. The room was extremely small, even by European standards. I did not realize it was a hostel until we got there though so perhaps my expectations were too high. The location was good. The water pressure in the shower was fabulous.

Property location is the biggest plus. Rooms are basic but functional

The location was very near to the city centre around Las Ramblas but the property itself was very disappointing. They had a Male staff at the reception, dressed shabbily, with complete zero understanding of English. Later he was very rude to my colleague when he requested for a taxi. However the 3rd day there was a lady at the reception who was much more courteous. The biggest disappointment Expedia mentioned it as 3 star hotel while it turned out to be a third grade Hostel with loud drunk people loitering inside the property for the entire night.

very tiny room, hardly able to move, but compensated by a friendly staff at the reception. Not much in the way of hotel amenities and it seemed pricey for what it can offer considering we have secured accommodation in another much larger and updated hotel the following day be it, for a bit more money.

Good location, close to everything, tidy and comfortable

Came back here as this is my second time

I won’t stay here again, and would not recommend it to anyone who is interested in sleeping. The walls are really thin in this hostel. You can hear every conversation between rooms and all the conversations from the street. There were ants on the floor and all over my luggage in the morning. This positives about this spot are its great location close to lots of attractions and nice warm showers.

Right in the old town. No English, but helpful staff. Claims 24 hour desk, but staff disappear between about 10 pm and 8 am. Beds OK.

We had a reservation and the hotel gave the room away. Hard to get a hold off the staff. Very unhappy. Had to find a room last minute.

My experience at this hotel was unspeakably awful! I never experienced such a rude staff anywhere. The owner did not let us wait in the lobby 15 mn before our checkin time. And when we asked to leave our luggage he also was so rude and acted in very aggressive way. the rooms provided were not clean and the bed sheets were ancient. The room i occupied had a window, but surprisingly when i opened the window i discovered there is a wall in front of it Apparently the window frame was only for decoration.

Good transport links, close to the beach and Las Ramblas

Only got shower gel. No shampoo or conditioner. 1 roll of toilet paper limit per day. Male receptionist was nice but no habla engles. Few ants in the bathroom. Shower head was a bit loose but i adjusted it so it sprayed out. AC blows right onto the beds. I expected a bit better for what i paid. Overall was okay and pretty clean. Beds were comfortable. Had a place to store luggages.

Nice Hostel in Gothic area 3mins walk from Las Ramblas 2 mins from Marina and 2 mins walk from Coloumbus tower. The location is very ideal rooms are cosy and basic. Air con and TV with local channels. Beds are ok bathroom and shower ok. Excellent value when I visited in May. Staff were efficient. This is a room only so you need to bring your own kettle and iron. Overall not bad place would I use again yes.

Donker benauwd hokje.

Inpandig kamertje, benauwd. Raam uitkijkend op en soort donkere koker, waar etensluchten uitkwamen. Bad liep niet goed door. Heel klein toiletrolletje. Erg gehorig. Gelukkig was er airconditioning.

Le lieu était très bien situé, lit confortable et petit balcon. Toutefois, chambre minuscule, poussière dans la ventilation, senteur d’humidité, la porte patio était givrée donc on ne peut voir à l'extérieur. Présence de coquerelles que nous avons trouvé dans la salle de bain la nuit. Très bruyant. Murs non insonorisé. Nous pouvions entendre les voisins parler dans leur chambre ou ronfler.

Das gebuchte Zimmer war eine Katastrophe. Vor dem Fenster war direkt eine Mauer und die Badezimmertüre war verkeilt, konnte nur geöffned bleiben und nicht zugezogen werden. Für ein Zimmerwechsel musste ein Aufpreis bezahlt werden. Die Dame von der Reception spricht nur Spanisch, kein Wort Englisch. Sie wirkte immer genervt.

Ótima localização, péssima estadia

Apesar da ótima localização, se estiver procurando o mínimo de conforto, não se hospede aqui. O dono não sabe uma palavra de inglês e faz questão de falar um espanhol bem acelerado, muito difícil de compreender, principalmente quando se trata de alguma reclamação da estadia. O ar condicionado desligava sozinho de 15/15 minutos em plenos 35 graus em BCN. Lençóis sujos.

Hotel très bien placé et calme

Er was geen daglicht, slechts een raam van 50 cm x 50 cm die uitkomt op een schacht van 1 meter bij 1 meter. Die schacht loopt van de begane grond omhoog tot aan de nok van het gebouw. Ook kwamen de afvoer buizen van de appartementen hier op uit. Met alle bijbehorende geluiden van dien. De kamer is ook erg gehorig, gelukkig spraken ze Spaans.

Ne vous fiez pas aux photos

Ce n'est pas vraiment un hotel , mais un endroit qui loue des chambres .parfois il y a quelqu'un à la réception mais c'est exceptionnel. On vous donne votre clé et le code pour entrer dans le building et c'est tout. Pour le reste c'est vraiment bien situé près de tout dans le quartier gothique. N'ayez pas d'attente alors vous ne serez pas déçu. P.S.c'est propre Nota=2.4/5

Barcelona!!!

Hyvä sijainti ja siisti hotelli. Todella ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta. Pienet huoneet ja meidän huoneessa ei ollut parveketta, jääkaappia eikä ikkunaa, mutta jos ei vietä aikaa hotellilla ja riittää pelkäksi nukkumapaikaksi niin suosittelen sijainnin ja hinnan takia😁

Nous avons eu du mal a trouvé l'entrée. La porte vitrée était fermée. Le check in etant a 13h nous sommes arrivés laba a 13h15 et on nous a dit de revenir pour 14h car c'était trop tot. La réalité n'est pas ce qu'elle est réellement. Les photos sont mensongères. Les chambres sont très petites. Meme pas 9m2. J'avais une chambre double donc conformément aux photos il y a de l'espace pour circuler autour du lit. Mais dans mon cas le lit double faisant 135cm grand max était collé au mur car il n'y avait pas de place. Assez déçu. Je ne recommande pas.

Rat hole

Never changed towels, sheets or cleaned the room ever. Once you check in you’re on your own unless the owner wants to harass and wake you up every morning asking you when you check out again.

Worst hostal ever! Never book here!

The hotel took our interrail pass when they cleaned our room, so we couldn’t travel back home. We lost our train and had to buy a new ticket for 300 euro. When we told them they just laughed at is..

Un accueil correct. Mais payer 100€ la nuit pour une chambre de 10m2 avec vue sur rien du tout, juste un assenseur, aucun apport lumineux extérieur, j’ai eu l’impression d’être dans une cellule de prison pour 100€ ! Très très déçu ! Une douche minuscule avec un système de jet à l’ancienne type club de sport. Ambiance très désagréable. Lit trop petit en longueur (je mesure à peine 180 !) Je ne recommande pas

Boa localização, quarto pequeno para casal com camas separadas e colchões deficientes, entrada para chuveiro estreito, preço caro, má relação preço qualidade, funcionários simpáticos.

La habitación muy oscura , mala atención del personal, pocas toallas, no hay ni un triste hervidor o nevera común. Incluso con un niño para calentarle el biberón. No tenia alfombra de baño y la ducha funciona a botón que se apaga cada 30 segundos con la consiguiente incomodidad para ducharse.

Un hôtel sympa mais pas pour une lune de miel.

Avantage principal de cet hôtel, il est très bien situé à 400 m de la statue de Colomb, soit en plein centre. Personnel sympa mais pas de petit déjeuner (grand choix dans les environs), chambre avec une fenêtre donnant sur une sorte de puits et ne laissant pas voir le ciel. Acceptable en solo ou en ami mais certainement pas pour un séjour en amoureux. wifi OK. Propreté OK. Literie OK.

Bon rapport qualité prix

Nous avons séjourné en couple: Petite chambre lits jumeaux séparés avec salle d'eau et WC (propre entretien tous les jours) . Petits déjeuners avec toasts et croissant. Chambre avec très peu de clarté car elle donnait sur une petite cour intérieure. Accueil très sympathique. Situation idéale pour passer un week end

El personal es muy atento y cariñoso. La habitación perfecta para mí y el Hostal está locaizado en una buena ubicación, con bares para comer comida casera, rica, rica. Ha ido buena elección.

Hôtel très bien situé à 100m des Remblas. La propriétaire est très sympathique, très serviable et donne de bons conseils. Soucieuse du bien être de ses clients. L hôtel en lui même est simple mais propre.
