TravellerTravellerVery central location, and both the building and the room have a antique and dated style which fits in well with Salento. The owner was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on the town, providing valuable input as it relates to eating and cafe options, as well as for hiking/visiting nearby Cocora Valley, which ultimately saved me $. Single room I stayed in was quite sizable, and the bathroom was in great condition. The town square is a short walk away. However, biggest draw back is the noise as you're right in front of a main street, with motorbikes being the most annoying. However, for the price and quality, it's not a major drawback. I would highly recommend, budget traveller or not.

Breakfast from 7-8:40 is good. Staff was helpful and let me keep my extra gear there while I went on a 2 day hike, which was useful.

The breakfast was great. Fresh fruit, eggs any style, bread, coffee, tea, and juice. Compared to other hostals the price was quite high considering there isn't a nice view, although the location is perfect.

TravellerThe hostel is centrally located and beautifully decorated with much attention to detail. The host speaks excellent English and helped us a lot with tips for our time in salento. We can definitely recommend it! The only thing that was not optimal was that the hostel is on a main street and walls are very thin so sometimes it was loud due to traffic.
