The place was very small, and uncomfortable, the entrance to the building was dirty and no elevator, the manager very nice!

Small hostal in great area

Very nice small hostal (hotel) in a great area; very close to the Gran Via Metro station. My room was large, , very clean, with a mini-fridge, tea kettle, small table and 2 chairs. Just a few metres away is a cute plaza (square) with a Starbucks and some small shops. Also close by is a food mercado.

Stay in the center of Madrid

Very good hostal in the center,near Gran Via. Clean,silent and convenient. I liked everything,except the terrible stairs. They are just dangerous.

Hostel stay

It was an experience staying at a hostel, I am spoiled I am used to hotels. Overall the place was clean, comfortable and inexpensive, we had our own private bathroom. Mario who took care of place was great and very accommodating. One of the downside, no elevators and we had a pretty heavy suitcase and no front desk or lobby clerk. The picture on the website is very different from the actual room. I was expecting a nice view from my room where I can sit at the quaint little table and chairs and have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine looking out.

Overall good hostel

Stayed one night with wife and 2 yrs old kid. Good experience overall.

The room was simple, clean and comfortable. Mario was an excellent host, who made me feel very welcome and the location is excellent.

The hostel was in a perfect location, 2 blocks off the Gran Via and within walking distance of most sights. Mario, the owner was so helpful and friendly from the time I booked the room right through the last day if my stay. He really works hard for his guests to have a wonderful stay. I will stay here again when I visit Madrid again!

Nice

Excellent location, cute balcony, v clean, nice personal touches. The toilet door was more of a stall than a door so there was a large gap which gave no sound privacy

Hostal Casa Chueca is in an ideal location. It is just steps away from restaurants and bars. The room was good for the cost.

Well priced, bare bones stay in a great neighborhood.

Mario was amazing! Extremely helpful. The rooms were very clean. Maybe they need some updating tho. But not a huge deal for me.

The location of this hotel is perfect. Right in the middle of madrid downtown. With access to 2 metro stations in less than 5 min walking. Staff is nice and so helpful. And the cleanliness is perfect. There is also a nice market 2 min away and lots of rest and bars near by. A tiny recommendation; matresses could be a bit better but a nice overall experience

Grumpy front desk and overpriced

The place was ok, but overpriced. The person at the front desk was super grumpy all the time! He got into an argument with my boyfriend because he rang the bell, while his hands where full of stuff making it impossible for him to open the door. He also complained for 30mins on how we didnt let him know at what time we were doing the check in, when weren't aware that we were required to do so.

Close to museums and in the walkable

Clean, provide shampoo and body wash soap. Change sheets. Provide two muffins each day. Pay attention to the window, because I even did not touch the window, the owner wanted to charge me for something I am not responsible for, he claims that the window was broken after I checked out, the truth is when I left the room, the window and door were properly closed. That is something I am totally not responsible for.

Muy mal que llegue por un imprevisto que se retraso mi vuelo y me negaron el acceso diciendo que no habia servicio en la recepción, perfi la.noche, tuve que buscar el hotel en la noche y no me regresaro el.dinero de ese dia.. fatal

Bien para ir a dormir. Está limpio y sencillo. Considerar que está en segundo piso y no tiene elevador. Mario el responsable súper atento.

Muy bien ubicado

Es un hostal con muy buena ubicación, la atención de Mario fue muy buena, las habitacio nes son limpias y la cama cómoda, aunque la ducha era muy pequeña. El detalle que agregaría es que está en una segunda planta y no hay ascensor, si llevan maletas grandes será un poco complicado.

Las condiciones de las gradas y con maletas

O anfitrião é muito atencioso e atendeu prontamente. A dificuldade de acesso do edifício são as escadas, não tem elevador, mas o atendimento foi ótimo.

Ótima estadia

Faz alguns anos que me hospedo em Casa Chueca e sempre tenho um atendimento primoroso por Mario e sua equipe. Agrados como café sempre disponível e a localização excepcional no coração de Chueca fazem toda a diferença.

Buena estancia

Estancia con excelente ubicación en el centro de Madrid a un par de calles del metro Chueca y 4 de la estacion Gran Via. La zona tiene actividad nocturna por lo que hay algo de ruido sin llegar a ser terrible. La atención de Mario fue muy atenta y amistosa, un gran host.

Una excelente estadía y muy amables y atentos.

Limpio, cómodo y buen servicio . Muy céntrico y buenos restaurantes alrededor .

Fantastisk! Lyxiga sängkläder, bästa bäddat säng, mycket ren, bra med en liten kylskåp på rummet och vatten kokare , mycket trevligt, nära till allt, första gång vi har bott på hostel istället för 3 stjärnig hotell ångrar inte valet, byggnaden är gammal och därför saknas hiss, vi hade inga problem med trapporna trotts att vi är ett pensionär par. ( fredag o lördag framm till 02 kan höras prat o skratt från en bar inte så störande annars helt tyst natten tid bra ljuddämpande fönster)

Gute Lage und gut renoviert.

Sehr gute zentrale Lage. Die Zimmer sind recht gut frisch renoviert und sauber. Das Treppenhaus bedarf allerdings noch der Renovierung.

Nette Unterkunft im Herzen von Madrid. Super zentrale Lage, nur einen Steinwurf von der Gran Via und der Calle Fuencarral entfernt. Mehrere METRO Stationen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Trotz der zentralen Lage unheimlich ruhig. Einfach gehalten, trotzdem sehr sauber und alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Es wurde täglich gereinigt. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit von der Ankündigung der Ankunft (mit Bereitstellung von Infos) bis zur Abreise (Gepäckaufbewahrung). Ich hatte wirklich einen super Aufenthalt

Rummet stämde inte med bilden, gammalt men ganska rent. Väldigt nära centrala Madrid och bra kommunikationsmöjligheter

Muy buena atención

Excelente localização em Chueca

Fui recebido muito atenciosamente e recebi algumas boas indicações. A localização é incrível, com dezenas de bares e restaurantes nas proximidades, além do Mercado de San Antón com muitos lugares para comer e um supermercado para levar vinhos variados quando não quiser gastar muito. Os quartos são bem pequenos e não há revestimento acústico, o que obriga a ouvir tudo o que se pass nos quartos contíguos.

L'hostal è in una zona viva sia di giorno che di sera ed è in una posizione comoda per visitare la città anche a piedi. La struttura è un po' vecchia, ma dispone anche di un terrazzino molto romantico. La pulizia viene fatta tutti i giorni da Mario, il gestore che è gentilissimo e disponibile. Nel complesso ci siamo trovate molto bene e consigliamo questo hostal

My room in Casa Chueca was marvellous comfortable very clean and organised and with its own bathroom The place is ideal for a sort stay as it is in the heart of the old city in a walking distance from the commercial district, the museums and lots of nice cafes bars and restaurants. I wouldn’t mind walking up the old wooden stairs as it gave me some sense of the old times. Mario was great very easy to communicate .he was waiting me and had placed in my room ready made coffe tea and muffins for the next morning . I really felt like home And I would definitely recommend to my friends. Thanks Mario

Très bien situé

Emplacement atypique : l'hôtel se situe au 2me étage d'un immeuble. Excellent accueil de la part de l'hôtelier. Nous a indiqué un circuit pédestre pour les points principaux de la ville. Très bien situé : à deux pas de Grande Via (rue des grandes enseignes). Le seul bémol : on m'a demandé de régler 19 euros en supplément pour la 5ème personne, ce qui n'était pas indiqué lors de ma réservation et de mon paiement.

Bien situado, atención del servicio y recepción atenta y agradable, habitación limpia y cama cómoda. Aconsejable.

Hotel limpio y muy bien ubicado.

Desde nuestra llegada todo estuvo excelente. La habitación impecable, fácil de llegar, cercano a todo, hay que reservar con anticipación porque es muy solicitado. El chico de la recepción muy amable y atento a todo lo que necesitamos.
