The staff was very friendly, check in process easy, and comfortable space!

Hostal Baquedano was the perfect place for our stay in Puerto Natales ahead and after completing the W trek. The location was great and only a 10 minute walk to the bus terminal to Torres Del Paine, and 5 minutes to the very centre of Natales- close to restaurants and shops. The owner was lovely and very helpful, helping us to store our extra luggage during the trek and this was waiting for us in our room when we returned. Options for breakfast were also flexible and able to be either had at the property or packed as a box lunch. The rooms we stayed in (one before and one after our trek) were also both very clean, spacious and comfortable with good basic amenities and showers. Would highly recommend staying at this hostal!

Loved this place! Super clean, quiet and cozy. Mattresses were soft and comfortable. Shower is awesome, great pressure rain shower and hot water. Staff are nice and welcoming. Breakfast is great 😊 Would definitely stay here again and absolutely recommend!

Wonderful place to stay if you are in Puerto Natales. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Do give this place a try if you are in the area.

Perfect before/after Torres del Paine

Excellent stay! We were able to leave bags between our multi-day trip to Torres del Paine and they were safe & waiting in our new room on return. Very friendly and helpful staff, warm and clean rooms, great location. Highly recommend.

Pre W trek stay

The most perfect place to stay for your time in puerto Natales. Walkable from the bus depo and easy walking into town. Check in was easy the staff was great and the breakfast was good. Do not throw out the piece of paper they give you at immigration you need it to check in.

The owners are the sweetest, kindest and most helpful individuals I have ever met. Staying here is fantastic.

The facility, centrally located in Puerto Natales, was not fancy, but was very functional and clean. Breakfast provided was good and owner/staff were very helpful.

Great stay

Perfect place to stay while visiting Torres Del Paine. The owner is nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and cute. Breakfast is just what you need and they make you a box breakfast if you need to leave before 7 am. Highly recommend.

Highly recommended

We stayed here the night before and after the W hike. We loved it! The owner is very welcoming and gave us good recommendations. I lost a shoe, that turned out to be on the shuttle bus from the airport, but the owner checked everywhere and even went back to look at the security camera to help me figure out where my shoe was. The room was clean and had all we needed. Breakfast was good. We will definitely stay again here.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I really would. The room was impeccable. The entire place was beautifully setup. The whole place is run by the most beautiful and loving couple who are extremely warm, generous and helpful. The hostel is in the city center so everything is walkable from it. The hosts understand little English but google translate comes really handy and gives you an opportunity to bond. Had the absolute best time here. Already planning the next trip back here.

It is not a luxry hotel, but it is clean and warm, with all you need. It is 600 meters to bus terminal.The owner is very nice, if the owner did not knocked on my door, I would missed my bus as my phone still show summer time (an hr behind.).

Spectacular!

Perfect hospitality- this hostel is run like a dream! Everything is designed for trekkers coming and going to Torres del Paine. Spotlessly clean room, loads of hot water, early breakfast box provided for those going to the park on the early bus. You can leave stuff there for free while you are trekking if you are going back there afterwards. There are loads of hostels in Natales but I can’t fault this one. Fabulous relaxed breakfast on the day of departure post W trek. Excellent!

Fantastic service

Wow-what a great inexpensive place to stay. The owner Hector went above and beyond in helping us, including getting us a ride to the bus station when we were in desperate need. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Hector even arranges for a boxed breakfast if you have to check out early. Fantastic service and great value.

This was a perfect, one night stay in Natales before heading to Argentina. The staff was friendly and helpful and will make you breakfast to go if you need to leave before it’s served. The room was cozy and clean. If you have a car, be sure to ask about parking, we got a ticket on an unmarked street when parked for just about 10 minutes! Overall though, excellent place to stay.

The location and staffs of the hotel are superb.

The owners were so nice and hospitable. They really went out of their way to make my wife and I feel welcome. The rooms were cosy and clean. The bed and bed sheets were divine that I slept like a baby. They deserve all the praise they can get. Well done!

The room is clean and the shower is very good. The con is with only window looks inside with everyone is passing by. Good parts: The breakfast is provided with yogurt, bread, ham & cheese, banana, scramble egg, coffee, milk and almond milk etc. The kitchen has microwave, plates, cups, bowls and utensils to use. It is comfortable to eat food in the dining area.

Exceptional stay. Spotlessly clean, incredibly friendly staff. Breakfast was a delight. I would highly recommend to backpackers or vacationers looking to experience the warm hospitality of the Chilean south.

6 nights at Baquedano before and after W trek

Hostal Baquedano was great. We loved the breakfast and that you could get it to go if you were leaving early. It is a 10 minute walk from the bus station and close to downtown and restaurants too. They will store your luggage while you go on the W trek for free if you are staying more than one night. Otherwise there is a fee. The owners are wonderful. They are kind, organized and helpful. They sell gas for the W trek there. The rooms are simple but they are all you need. We would definitely stay here again!

Really felt welcome by the staff, check-in was easy. The breakfast provided was suffecient and they are also kind to provided a to-go back in the early morning if you are heading out for a trek/tour in the morning. My room was clean and id be happy to stay there again and recommend it

This well-run hostel is in the tradition of travelers and adventurers seeking inexpensive but clean and quiet accommodation. Our room had good bed and private bathroom, though it was small and not intended to spend much time in. Common space was large and inviting with view of the street. The desk staff were incredibly helpful, went out of the was to have good communication and take care of all needs.

Wonderful and friendly. I stayed here before and after Torres del Paine; if you stay for 2 or more nights then you can store you extra bag here for free while out in Torres del Paine. The breakfast was massive, delicious and filling. They are very flexible with breakfast times (begins 7 AM to dine in the hostal, if you have to leave earlier they provide it packaged at 6:15 AM). Highly recommend

Clean, comfortable and with great service

A great little hostel that could also easily be classified as a full fledged hotel (private room with private bathroom). The overall decor is simple (no tv in the room), but on the other hand our room had a fantastic shower box. Service is super friendly and super helpful. We left our suitcases in the hotel in the morning and when we came back for the check in they had already been brought to the room without us ever even asking. That made us feel pampered and welcome. Do not hesitate to ask the reception desk for suggestions of nearby restaurants, cafe or excursions, as they are most knowledgeable and helpful in this, as well.

Wonderful place with caring and friendly owners. The location is super convenient as it’s within a few blocks from the bus station and also to the main drag where you can find the Unimarc, etc. The beds are comfortable, water pressure is great, and rooms are bright and clean, can’t ask for more!

Good breakfast and wonderful owners!

I expected a small hostel which would provide the minimum of what people need before and after trekking. But their service and room quality were amazing! I was especially touched by breakfast served. It remind me of the old days,cozy bed and breakfast, before air bnb was introduced :) The bed was clean (I was super concerned about bedbugs so always bring my sleeping bag but didn't need to use mine) and the room is warm. I will be back!

I wanted at least one chair in my room. I could not relax sitting.

Had an enjoyable stay and greatly appreciated the friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Nice breakfast included - you can either request a to go or eat it in. They made scrambled eggs to order for me! Hector and Sandra really care and it shows!

welcoming atmosphere

The only thing I need to mention is that if you want to pay as a foreigner, without the tax, they want you strictly to pay with cash. Since everyone else was charging us the no tax rate even when paying with credit card, I'd just like to mention that. Otherwise the owner was super friendly. The room was clean, breakfast fresh and tasty.

Highly highly recommend. The rooms are well equipped and clean. Great breakfast and very safe. The real highlight however is the owners; they are so generous and go out of their way to help you and make sure you have everything you need. We can’t thank them enough! Thanks for an amazing stay!

Great place The staff/manager were great - helping me with a room choice, late night hot water, tea, etc. Rooms were quiet - and very comfortable. Place was walking distance from the Square, great restr and the Unimarc grocery store.

Simple hostal in great location

As you'd expect at a hostel, the rooms are small, and it's a bit noisy. The couple who own/manage the hostel are very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. There are some excellent restaurants and good little stores to buy basics within an easy walk.

Centrally located and pleasant Hostal

Hostal Baquedano is located near the central area of Puerto Natales and was a quick walk to the bus terminal as well as restaurants and the super market. Our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the open air feel of the hostal and natural light. The kitchen and common area were stocked well. We needed to leave early in the morning to catch a bus to Laguna Amarga and the hostal packed our breakfast to take with us. We enjoyed our stay here and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Property was quite new and very nice hostel. Staff was friendly and we were able to communicate with our limited Spanish. Breakfast was good, included fresh cooked scrambled eggs. WIFI was good. We would definitely stay there again. Also great location with easy walk to shopping.

Was pleasantly surprised with the comfort of the rooms and especially the shower. It was a hostal so was a little loud as you could hear people walking on the stairs and outside but that was to be expected - especially since I was right by the stairs. But overall very pleased.

Great staff and comfortable rooms

This is a very comfortable hostel with attentive hosts and a great breakfast on offer! Really appreciated the option of taking the packed lunch for day tours in place of breakfast for early starts. Would definitely recommend staying here

This is a cute little hostel in the center of town. It looks a bit unfinished with plywood walls in the hallway and unpainted trim, but the friendliness of the staff makes up for it. Remember to bring US dollars to avoid the Chilean 19% tourism tax (they’re credit card machine does not yet accept foreign currency unlike some of the bigger hostels in town)

We had a good experience in here. The owner gave us lots of suggestion about our trip. It is a wonderful place to stay.

Brilliant value for money. Good sized, warm rooms with a great shower and clean bathroom. A must for the cold winds in Patagonia! Very friendly owner and Good breakfast and you can do a takeaway snack for breakfast if you’re leaving early for a trip. Good central location near restaurants and supermarkets. Highly recommend this place!
