Smelt damp on entering, outside was dirty and unkempt, room was very small and the shower was freezing after a couple of minutes warmth, not enough to have a shower.
Location is good, outside of property could do with a good clean and when we first arrived I nearly turned around and left. Hostel itself has seen better days and is quite run down, however we only wanted a place to stay as we were out all day. So, room... tiny, ground floor with little light and didn't open curtains for fear of the pole falling down, next to the front door so heard all the comings and goings. However, the bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding was clean with two mattress protectors, it had ac/heating and enough sockets for our phones etc. Plenty of hot water and clean towels so it was adequate for our needs, maybe an upstairs room with small balcony would be nicer? We booked very late and there were not many options available for the price and location, Would not book again but it served its purpose.
A small but perfectly adequate place in a very convenient location. There were no services per se but that matched the price paid for it. Wifi worked well, it was private and reasonably quiet.
Horrible
This place was disgusting, no one at the front desk, so absolutely no security. There was mold on everything (bathroom tile, wall, inside the closet, and on the ceiling) and the chair was nasty and soiled. I did not look at the bed sheetd. There is a sign to call the police if there are problems, so you are on your own. This should be removed from Expedia and anywhere else, shame on you Expedia!!!
Too small for the cost. No comfort, basic.
A tiny tiny room only big enough to fit the bed and nothing more. A tiny bathroom with the toilet crammed in the corner but a nice big shower in another corner was the only positive about this hotel. I would say great for a solo traveller but not for a couple. Outside was quite unwelcoming down a poorly lit alley way
It was ok, but the check online system failed, I entered my data TWICE but when taken the photo of ID card and uploading the system reset itself loosing all the information entered. Very inconvenient. I had to send the photos of my ID card to the contact via whatsapp. Not good.
It is a good place for two nights. It was generally clean but requires better maintenance . Bathroom tiles grout very dirty due to mold.
Budget hotel in a great location
The beds were hard. There were ants coming in from the window. We tried to cover in the hole but they still came in. There was free air conditioning. There was a hair dryer in the room but no kettle. The room was cleaned every day and we got fresh towels. The location was excellent. The bathroom was very small.
Smile at the office
Hi, I was absolutely hounded by mosquitoes and deserve a refund as it was the worst night sleep I’ve ever had in my life! Sincerely, Max
I loved location. Good value for money. Just 800 meters from Sevilla Cathedral and historical centre. Close by little grocery shop - Carrefour. Loads of stairs if you stay on 3rd floor - no lift. The room was really tiny and bathroom as well. It was ok for weekend. Refrigerator downstairs near reception.
I loved this place. A very small room but very cozy! The check-in was fast and over the phone! The person who answered very nice! It is walkable to downtown and the bus stop is 1 min. away.
It was convenient.
The smallest hotel room ever
First of all, admission was by phone call only, which i personally dislike. I didn't see anyone from the hotel during my entire stay. My room was pitifully small (any smaller and it would have been a coffin) and the only place to gang any clothes was a 3 hook coat rack which fell off the wall if you put more than a couple of things on it. People did come in daily to clean but certainly didn't sweep under the bed. They did clean the bathroom though. On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable. It maybe worth the risk for a night but not worth it, at least not in the rooom i stayed in, for any longer.
The room was very very small with no furniture, just one bad, no hangers for clothes, just nothing! Looks like a prison cell.
Horrible. The lady at the reception was extremely rude ‘ hostile. I had left my luggage at the hotel because she said I could but when I came she started saying how she cannot let me in because she is not there. I asked for someone else to help & he was very aggressive & wouldn’t let me in. The lady then yelled at me again for not going in even though she could see from her security camera that I wasn’t let in. She then proceeded to tell me a way to get my lugggage but she could’ve just told me that from the beginning to avoid the hassle. WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE
It was the worst Hostal that I have ever experienced.
Was alright for what we needed, somewhere to sleep rooms pretty small but over all was ok.
Not Bad. Very hot inside and poor cooling and ventilation. The restroom is wetty. 2nd floor. The window doesn’t lock.
Very close to the centre but in a quiet area. Room has the basics, the toilet is in a narrow space.
We like the location of the hotel. We did not like the towels and the garbage in the street.
Location was ok but everything else was terrible. Zero ventilation, zero natural light, broken and incredibly uncomfortable bed, filthy shower and it felt as though you were in a basement. Everything was damp and everything just felt a bit dirty. It was way overpriced for what it was.
This was my second stay here. If all you need is a place close to the train station and close to the major tourist sites, this is your place to stay! Rooms are very compact, but if all you need is a place to sleep, shower and watch a little TV before sleepy time, I highly recommend this place. Only problem I had was no 24 hour reception if you have a problem and other guests can get noisy at night (that's not the hotel's fault though).
2 day 1 night stay here. no service at all. room and bathroom very dirty and dusty.no elevator. i planning checkout early about 9 am , than storage my luggage at lobby or any room, but no body at counter, call to the lady ,she say cannot leave anything there. very terrible.
The bathroom was dirty. The shower curtain looked dirty. We had to buy sandals to use the shower. We didn’t feel in a sanitary room. One of the towels was dirty. We asked for a new one and never got it. Not recommend this place for families with kids. If you want something cheap and close from the center (and don’t mind if it’s dirty), this is an option.
Awful
Very hot rooms which are tint; beds are ancient and uncomfortable. Not recommended for families .
Excellent solution for families that wantr to stay downtown and still pay less.
This Hostal reminds you of guesthouses in Bangkok, where owners try their best to squeeze in as much unit as possible. Space is tight, stair is steep, air-con is working. Works well for budget travelers.
Plain and simple your money's worth
All good and the staff were Lovely..
I hate the new trend with hostels of only staffing reception from 0900-1500 hours - especially when they say "Check-in begins at 1400 hours"! Outside that one hour window, you have to try and check in on-line, which is usually beyond challenging. Also, the day before I arrived,. I received an e-mail from them all in Spanish and without a translator app on my phone, had no idea what it was about, until I got to the hostel only to find the e-mail was instructions for checking in since there was no one at reception. All that said, the staff, especially the cleaning people were incredibly friendly and helpful. Hostel is close to Sants Justa train station and also close to most of the tourist sites. Great and quiet location, but other residents were incredibly noisy at all hours of the night - hence another reason reception should be staffed. Hotel decor and room are a bit dated and could be updated, but it was clean and comfortable.
Check in / stay
Had to phone number on door for code to obtain key. Difficult if not a lot of Spanish. Room comfortable and clean. I had bathroom in room for €46+ . 3 flights of stairs though no lift. Good free WiFi
Nice-looking common area, but an overall feeling of uncleanliness in the room-a bit of mold on the windows, stains in the shower, smelly pillows. Room was very humid. Acceptable for one night where we just needed a place to sleep. Location is pretty good.
It was nightmare. Terrible bed, bathroom , noisy....
Basic , 3 nights max
Affordable place to sleep , in at 11:30/12:30 , up and out again by 9-9:30 am . Close to town , lots of cafe bars around . First floor . - Room basic , small , shower a bit of a pain to use . Street noise + air con worked even though we didn’t use it . Spare blankets Comfy bed. No achy back . Receptionist/maid was helpful .
Very noisy building. Horrible pillows and shower.
The property is in a great location, about 15 minutes walking to the Alcazar, Seville Cathedral, Plaza de Espana, and the train station. The downside was the room was tiny and no windows and cost $71 per night.
It was basic,but clean,good location.
4 days in Sevilla.
I don’t typically leave bad reviews. We are a backpacking couple so typically stay at cheap accommodation. I’ll start with the pros: good location, only a 10 min walk from everything, the check in was fairly simple, the facilities worked, good wifi. Cons: not necessarily a con but the receptionist spoke very little to no English but I understood most of what was going on. No extra tourist information given or anything. The real issue was the bugs. The bathroom was crawling; ants on the towels, ants on the walls, ants all over the taps. I understand that it’s a cheap hostel and a hot country, but we got bitten a few times in the night. There were elements that definitely weren’t clean either; the shower shelf and the extractor fan were filthy, and it probably did say in the hotel booking page but there is no room service. I guess if it’s a quick stop over it’s fine, but I might not come here again for any longer than that. On the flip side, the lady who we caught cleaning reception is lovely - she helped us turn the power back on when the fuse flipped.
OK for a night or two.
I left a day early and lost my money. The AC did not work. They claim to have fixed it when it stop making a loud noise, but they just fix the noise not the fact that it did not blow cold air. The website says they have laundry facilities, it’s only for their use of the hostal, not the guests. The shower was super small. It also had mold on the ceiling. My room was just above the entrance, so every time someone entered and let the door slam, I heard it. But it was in a safe neighborhood, everything was nearby, including a supermarket and laundry facilities, and the staff was really great.
The reception staff were friendly and helpful, especially Aziz, the evening receptionist who spoke very good English. A very good Hostal for the price!
It's not a five star hotel but It's a comfortable place to stay as long as you don't expect any luxury. The staff is really nice and accommodating even though they speak very min english. We were able to walk to most touristy places and there were a lot of food options nearby.
Good value in a great location
The hotel is located in a good position that allows you to reach all the points of interest within 10 minutes. The staff is really nice and kind, they allowed us to leave the bags before the check in and after the check out and they helped us to find a place where to leave the car. Considering the price the room was good.
Quite basic but clean with no frills
Very good location, closed to the center. Clean and nice room.
Fine and basic for a short stay
Great location, very clean.Close to bus station, walkable to many good restaurants and shops.
Location, excellent for walking around the city, supermarket close by, cafes too. Ladies on reception very helpful and lovely. Rooms are small but having a front room gave you double doors that opens up. Which was nice
A nice, simple hotel in the center of Seville. It's easy to get to lots of different places and the hotel is very reasonably priced. There are no extra frills, like breakfast, but a two-minute walk gets you to a very nice bakery. This is the place to be if you want to spend the majority of your time exploring the area.
Very clean small hotel , with very friendly staff.
Excellent value for money and good location.Budget choice but all we needed -who wants to spend time in a hotel room when in such a fantastic city?. Easy to find a cheap and delicious breakfast in nearby bars.
Very good base
The room and the bathroom were clean and the bed very comfortable. Staff is really kind and helpful and gave us many advices). The hotel is 7-10 minutes walking to the Real Alcazar and the Cathedral. They also rent bikes for 10€ p/day. I recommend it.
Great value in a great location
Perfect location, close to everything. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and had all We needed.
Good location &staff
Great location. The woman who helped us during check-in was super friendly and helpful and gave us lots of tips/recommendations. It was still chilly in the mornings/evenings when we were in Seville, so it was nice that the heating worked and was quiet. In general the area was quiet at night,so we weren't woken up by outside noises.
About 8 min walk to Pl. Campana for buses to Santa Justa train station. Great staff, really helpful and friendly; helped print my Alcazar tickets so I wouldn't have to wait in line! Room was basic but clean - there's some renovations in process so some of the rooms may be undergoing work. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Good value overall.
Excellent and friendly staff, contacted us before check in due to our late arrival and helped us find nice restaurants the next day. We got free towels and water bottles, that´s a service I´ve never had for this price! The best quality/price ratio you can find in town given the location, very central!
Superb location close to the most tourist attractions. The staff were really great to speak to, and I had a very good recommendation for a dinner location. In terms of the room, it was clean and not noisy although my room was located next to the street.
The room was a box room no place to put your stuff because they saw my review so they changed my room to another more ample in the ground floor (the first one was in the third) The room was better but no control for the heating but the worst for me was the shower, the holder for the head didn't exist so to take a shower I have to hold it in my hand. Very small cubicle so if I move I got the shower curtain sticking to me if I move to the other side I close the shower because I touched the tap if your soap fall to take it you could hit your head with the wash basin as happened to me. I know because of the price I can't ask for luxury but was very uncomfortable for me and I was in other cheap hotels but this I think is not good enough to be in Expedia. The personal very friendly but unfortunately they couldn't do much.
Bad experience!!
This property could never have a good review. Rooms tiny as well as bathroom also. Smell was bad. Very uncomfortable. Had to leave
Lovely short stay in Seville
Location was great; only 8 minutes away from Giralda Tower and close to all central attractions. Staff was really nice. Had quite a good amount of space in the room which was also nicely decorated. Great Wifi! Private bathroom was clean and we were provided with all needed amenities. Comfy bed! We could use the fridge and microwave in the common area and had tea/coffee making facilities
excellent budget hotel in a great location
Perfect location, lovely rooms, great family feel and off the main square so quiet
Great place a short distance from the action
Kind reception. Comfortable space in the heart of old Seville, but located on a quiet street with no traffic noise. Close to all the activity and restaurants without being right in the thick of it. Clean.
It was very centrally located. The room was nice, clean and cozy. Good internet connection and lots of hot water for shower. Bathroom was very clean (something crucial for me). Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and the hotel itself was easy to find. I'd definitely stay at this place again.
Great accommodation, great location. Full of old Spanish charm in the heart of the old town. Within walking distance of everything and great tapas bars are around every corner.
- comfortable and large bed - helpful and friendly staff - excellent location, you can find everything within walking distance - cleans room, bedlinen smelled very nice - nice style which is a good alternative to international hotel chains.
Camera piccola, sporca e maleodorante.
Estupendo, lompieza,atencion intimidad
It's not the best you can get however if you are on a low budget this hostel is perfect, it has the basics, it's very close to all the historical sites
Close to the city centre with all the restaurants, cafe and shops. Even tho this place is just one a side street from a main road it’s very quiet. The only down part is that we had our rooms on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator so it was a struggle to get up with all our bags.

Perfect location;however, the shower area was miniscule.
