Great rooms and service. Didn’t care for the breakfast.

It was okay but probably won't be staying again

Room was overall okay. It was pretty dusty, the dishes were not clean, and the ac made a terrible rattling sound that kept me from sleeping. When I informed the front desk, they said they would have someone take a look, but it was never addressed. The walls were very thin, so I could hear everyone around. There was no self parking so it's either part $55/night for valet or shuffle the car around different parking lots/street parking yourself. Once the hotel got more crowded, it took 10 minutes once calling the elevator for it to arrive and most of the time, it was already full of people so no one else fit on it. The room cleaning was every other day and the staff will respect your privacy sign request.

The staff were wonderful, and the location was safe and clean.

Dawn at the front desk was amazing! Very friendly and offered many dining and entertainment options that were close to the hotel since we were traveling from out of town. The hotel was clean, quiet and the beds were very comfortable. We would stay here again if we are ever in the any in the future.

Decent hotel in Downtown Houston area.

Stayed here with my family while attending a conference downtown. Good location, which is a short walk to the conference center. Location could be unnerving if you haven't been to downtown Houston recently. Often there's homeless folks nearby, but they weren't intrusive. Experience is relative, so I'm not as alarmed by things like that. Could do without folks smoking marijuana just outside the entrance. Room is large and well equipped. Large bedroom/living area with full kitchen. Always useful when having left overs or sometimes a late breakfast. Showers could do with some updates. You can see the wear in the room if you look for it. WIFI was decent speed though and decent amount of outlets. Real downside was the smell in the 10th floor corridor though. Smelt like the carpets were wet too long and never really dried. Really obvious when you exit the elevator. Wasn't an issue inside the room or in the lobby areas though. Free bfast was good. Good variations including fruit and sufficient quantities. 24hr coffee is a plus. Small mart area near lobby, but decent priced grocery shopping is very nearby. Staff were kind, helpful and always greeting. I will give them a thumbs up for their staff attitude and training. Considering the location, I may stay here again, knowing the prices of the other hotels in close proximity to the conference center.

Great stay

Stayed at this hotel because of how close it was to Minute Maid Park! We valet parked when we got there and just walked to the stadium for the games and that made it so much easier than trying to park in a public parking lot. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful

Very close to Minute Maid Park, but there was a ton of noise outside very late (mostly small dick drivers of cars with loud exhausts). Would have thought the Management would have called the cops but didn’t.

The nights we stayed there the noise on the outside was horrible ... the first night it lasted till 3:30 in the morning ... the second night we asked to be moved to another room and it was just as bad ... we have stayed here a number of times and never had this problem ... the second night the young lady that moved us might need some more customer relation training .. she said this what not yalls problem but it is not our fault either so something needs to be done ... we pay to stay at your place but we do expect to get a good nights sleep and this did not happen either night ...

If visiting Houston, I would never stay there again. There were several issues with my hotel stay. Upon arrival, there was and issue with my reservation. The hotel manager and the front desk staff did not want to assist at all and I was told to reach out to Expedia directly (which it did turn out to be an Expedia issue). The hotel manager said they would honor the error, however, 2 days into my stay I received the charge for the additional fees on my card. The first room they gave us had a horrible stench and the couch was horribly dirty. When we informed the front desk, the room that I was switched to was no better by a long shot, which I informed the front desk about as well. We was spraying air freshener every time we entered our room to mask the stench. Room service was horrible. We had to contact the front desk several times to receive any of our requests for linens and even an iron because the one in our room was broken. Getting an iron took over 3 hours and we had eventually left our room to come back with the iron on the table (forget that we had the privacy tag on our door for a reason)… I am very easy to accommodate and usually do not make any complaints about a hotel or its staff but I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Houston.

The sofas in the rooms are stained. I switched my room twice and still ended up with a room with a stained-up sofa.

Perfect hotel for Astros game

Very clean. Perfect hotel for going to Astros game. Had a breaker trip in the bathroom when using blow dryer and bathroom door would not shut if the toilet seat was down due to wrong size toilet seat and close proximity to the bathroom door. Staff was prompt with fixing issues. Will definitely stay again.

Very disappointed in the staff and response to request. Asked four times in one day to have housekeepers come since I was paying $500 for the night and they never came. And no apologies

2 day getaway!!

Couples trip and throughly enjoyed our stay. Enjoyed the Wednesday evening snacks with free wine and beer! Breakfast was very good and hot. Quick check in and nice staff. Easy parking and had a shuttle service as well.

Great one night stay with some friends to attend a Dynamo game. Close enough for us to the soccer pitch. Great restaurants and bars in the area. Our room was a very spacious room that was well kept. It was our second stay here and we will be back. Definitely recommend.

All was very clean and staff was very helpful. There is only valet parking 55.00 a day.

My experience overall was really nice. There was a home away from feel to the experience. I really think I will stay there again.

This hotel was the loudest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The muscle cars drove by throughout the night stopping at the light in front of the hotel. The music was so loud as were the cars the 10th floor didn’t help with that. We got very little sleep. We should have known that it was loud because of the one pair of ear plugs (for our fam of 4) on the bedside table. Nothing could keep out this noise. The worst!

Loved staying here for the Astros game. The desk staff were amazing and were so professional and kind even when the potential guests were totally obnoxious! We will definitely stay here again.

Hotel was very close to the two locations we were visiting in Houston this past weekend therefore great central location.

Very spacious first time in texas

The service checking in and any questions was excellent thanks to Paul. First time to Texas for a quick weekend getaway. However there was a snow storm and we had 4 delays before departure. We technically didn’t check in until 1:30am the next day. Saturday morning I asked the front desk is there anyway any of my money could be returned, and the person stated it’s not their fault we had a delay. I said ok and walked away. The hotel is beautiful and spacious rooms. However there were little eyelashes in the bed, someone’s earring on the bed and trash left in the kitchenette trash bin.

Biggest note I have, is that they're valet-only at $50. Parking lot across the street is also $50, but you've gotta leave at 9:30am. I should've figured, but if you can stay outside downtown - do. Otherwise, it was fine.

We were surprised with a $350 valet fee for our 7 day trip, which was not fun. But the staff were friendly and professional. The amenities were clean and set well. I would recommend updating to smart TVs for people who don't want to watch cable TV (for Netflix, Hulu and YouTube). The custodian damaged a keepsake from our trip which was hidden under furniture in out room. Breakfast was good.

The hotel and staff, especially the guys at valet services are exceptional.

Really close to the Toyota Center. The bar/restaurant is pricy though, and the “hot breakfast” is cold. Other than that, the motel was nice and clean, staff were super friendly. Would book again.

Property was fine but I’d recommend going through someone else besides Expedia to book the room. I had my confirmation email and when I arrived they said they did not have anything in their system. Luckily there was an open room they were able to put me in.

The location was perfect to attend a baseball game. The restaurant closes early and after getting back from the game, you have to hurry to get into a long baseball fan line to order from the menu. They do make arrangements to have pre-made but delicious pizzas for the late crowd.

Great city views

We arrived early and were able to do an early check in and had views of Minute Maid park. Breakfast was great. Room was spacious. Only wish we could’ve stayed on vacation longer. We were able to secure a parking spot with Spot Hero about a block away from the hotel without any issues.

Valet parking was ridiculously expensive.

I thought the parking situation was horrendous and expensive.

Everyone was so courteous and helpful. We felt very special. The only issue I had was the slamming doors of our neighbors or maid service in the morning. I'm sure that can't be helped, however. Breakfast was beyond spectacular. We will be back for sure!! Thank you.

My stay was great except for the fact I was not aware that I needed to request the room to be serviced. Also getting someone to answer the phone to retrieve my car from valet was challenging and I had to come downstairs and personally request and then wait.

I enjoyed my stay. Close to everything. The breakfast was freshly made and had a nice variety. The kiddos loved making their own waffles. The staff was super friendly. Definitely will stay again.

I stayed overnight for a concert at the Toyota Center and was extremely pleased. The staff was very friendly, the room was very clean and the location was perfect. Would most definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel

Clean, comfortable, breakfast was great, losts to choose from. Employees were cheerful and helpful. I did get double charged so keep an eye on that, as I had read from another review, but it was fixed quickly. Not in favor of having to pay another $49 a day for parking but I guess youre paying for the convenience. I think people would spend more at the hotel if not for that. The restaurant food was good too.

Property and staff were great however we were on the 12th floor facing the front of hotel where there was a parking lot that was empty. Some ppl were reving up engines and cut donuts at around midnight and beyond so didn’t sleep much. However, not the hotels fault.

Decent room sheets were itchy. Asked for new ones never got them. No parking unless u wanna pay 50$ for them to valet it across the street, or go across yourself and pay 30$ super inconvenient they need to let people know up front about the parking situation. I could have just stayed at a real 5 star place if i didnt spend so much on parking.

Fiance and I booked this room due to location to Minute Maid Park for Astros game. We got there very early and our room was ready! $50 for valet parking in a safe garage on premises is very reasonable. Location is amazing as it's a block away from the stadium. Rooms were HUGE! Tons of room in the main room and in bathroom. My only complaint would be the lighting in the bathroom as it seemed a little dark for shaving and normal bathroom activities with makeup etc. On premises bar/restaurant was super convenient and the staff was very friendly top to bottom. Many restaurants around as well. Definitely recommend MKT Bar. Would NOT recommend Saltgrass Steakhouse as the service was terrible. Would definitely stay here again!

Georgia was super friendly at check in and valet was extra quick and courteous. Management need to review valet pricing because it is extremely high at $44 plus tax along with they tried to charge me for an extra car and I only had one. This is my only complaint.

Conference

The hotel, the room and the location was great. However, when I checked in, they charged my credit card for the full cost of the stay. I had prepaid prior to arrival. After talking to the staff I thought it was resolved but the morning of the check out, they sent me a receipt stating that they had charged my American Express. After talking to the management for the second time, the issue was resolved. It was very frustrating.
