We stayed one night in a suite and it worked out perfectly for our family of 7. Staff is exceptional and hotel is so clean it smells amazing in there. Highly recommend.

The property was clean and very nice. The breakfast was hot and good and on Wednesday, they had cocktail hour with free beer, wine, cheese, and salad. The staff was super friendly and helpful when it came to solving my needs! I will stay here again! Fully stocked kitchen plates, cups, and utensils. The room was huge as well. The only downside is there was a mildly unpleasant smell in the rooms and hallways, I believe due to pets being allowed. Everything else was perfect.

I liked that the property was in a great location with great shopping, and restaurants in close proximity. Room was not clean.

Hotel.com nightly charge screw up

It seemed everything was broken .the elevator all the ice machines . And the microwave was broken. The staff was nice and the beds were comfortable. It was also supposed to be for 5 nights instead of of 4. But bc of the mixup this ended up costing me $200 more dollars that I didnt have bc i hadn't planned that into our trip. I was told that someone was supposed to call me back and i havent heard from them.

Great stay!

Everything was great, breakfast could be a little better but waffles are still good they’re a go to breakfast. I like that when the room is ready to go in they let you in if they have any available. Overall it was great pool was warm thought it would be cold and really close to Seaworld. I like the fact that there’s store around and you and restaurants so you wouldn’t have drive far out there.

This stay was very nice, BF was good, & staff was friendly. The only improvement needed was cleaner showers. There was mold like grim on the edges of the shower. Overall nice place to stay and very close to sea world and Aquatica parks.

We enjoyed our stay here, even though we arrived late at night we received a friendly welcome and they have a lot of great choices for breakfast.

First night we woke up to fire alarm on around 6am. It was a false alarm but still fire fighters took too long to show up. The dishwasher in our room didn’t work and the room had a weird smell. Pool wasn’t clean until the 3rd day we were there so we only got to go in once. Wouldn’t stay there again.

It was very clean easy accessible to many things. They just never came and cleaned the room during our stay.

Great place to stay! Cleanliness was amazing. Rooms smelt amazing as soon as you walked in and including the lobby.

Everything was perfect until check out. I couldn’t find anyone at the front desk and was told by someone that they couldn’t help me. I asked about a few minutes later and she never explained why she couldn’t help me. She said the front desk guy was in the bathroom and I was just looking for sone help. He came out yelling at me and putting his finger in my face telling me I’m not going to talk to his employee that way. I basically told him that he can’t talk to a customer that way and he kept attacking me verbally so I met him with the same animosity because he was out of control! This is completely unacceptable behavior and he was unhinged toward a customer.

The customer service is the best. Your front office people are doing a great job. Whatever you ask for your personnel are extremely helpful and caring.

The location was very clean. Staff was really helpful and made it easy and pleasant stay.

Other than the fact that the first room was not as clean they promptly moved us to another however this room had no phone. But for the price the breakfast was good and the area was safe and close to everything.

Although the staff was friendly, we experienced some issues with the outlets and phones not working properly. It would be great if these issues could be addressed to make the stay even more enjoyable.

When we arrived the lobby was clean and inviting. The front receptionist was very nice and took care of us quickly. Our room was clean and very nice and spacious. My daughters enjoyed the pool outside other than the kids that were diving in and splashing water everywhere. when cheer seaworld competition come back around we will definitely stay here again. The price was extremely high like triple the normal price that’s the only complaint I have. Breakfast was ok.

Very nice and clean hotel close to sea world

Location was great! Our room was not vacuumed fully - there was good in the corner and by the beds. The pool was heated the first 2 days so my Boys enjoyed it. The coffee was good. Breakfast was subpar. Staff was a hit or miss. One didnt look eager to do much and the other seemed good

So I get there to check in and they reserved the wrong room for me. I reserved the family suite with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. The give me a king size bed with sofa bed. I had to sleep my 16 yr old and 13 yr old on the sofa bed. my wife, with our 10 yr old and 12 yr old on the king size bed. I slept on the floor. They had no other rooms available. The lady at the counter was distracted on her phone that when I went to buy snacks from the lobby I also asked for extra blankets, she said ok and got back on her phone and I stood there for almost 3 minutes before she realized I was still standing there, I had to ask her again for my blankets for her to finally get them for me.

Ice machine on our floor did not work. The breakfast had a good variety of food every morining.

It is an old property needs uodated. The staff that manages breakfast is ruin, and they need to keep coffee area stocked and make real coffee!

Overall great. Odd that there was hardly ever anyone at the front desk. Good breakfast, but the evening social (which is why I come here) was only on Wednesdays.

Showed up at 320, our room was not ready. We had to wait for our room, which then caused up to miss the Seaworld Parade. My kids we upset. The breakfeast ladies are rude. They can not handle 15 people eating at a time. Simple tasks like refilling the milk or making sure there is butter and syrup. I politely asked for more milk and got attitude.

One-Day Get Away

I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed our 2 queen suite. The fact that it was pet-friendly made it that much more amazing! We were able to bring our pup with us, and that made everyone happy. The breakfast was nice, hot, and good. The coffee was on point. The full kitchen was awesome. We will definitely stay here again in the future and bring our pup with us.

took my family to sea world after a long day in the park we were ready to rest. Arrive to the hotel around 6:30pm and our room was not available we had to wait 1 hour for an employee to come in and clean it

First and last visit

The check in person never gave me eye contact. The rooms are dated and worn. The walls had stains on them. The floors were dirty. The breakfast area was dirty. I never saw anyone wipe anything down. Oh all evening both days all I heard was trampling above me. After a long day at the theme parks I could not rest. Definitely would not stay for next SeaWorld trip.

A++ would stay here again if I visit SeaWorld. Rooms were very spacious. And location was close to everything.

This was an ok place. It could use some updating for sure. We booked a 2 queen bed with a fold out couch and I did really like the space and set up of the room but I think we got a handicap room so usually there is more space in those already. However, the fold out bed was a joke, it was the worst ever, I felt bad for my son who had to sleep on it because it was like sleeping on metal bars. The shower was tiny with all the handicap bars and seat in there it made it feel really tiny, I feel bad for someone who really is handicap because they would have a hard time moving around. The carpet was peeling in some areas and the dishwasher did not work at all, the fridge was really loud and our bed was itchy and had little black dirt looking stuff in it( very gross) The pool is really small and it was really dirty in and around the pool. The place overall has the potential to be really nice, it’s just not kept up. The staff was nice but maybe just not enough staff to keep up with the common areas. Overall ok place and would stay again if tight on money or in a last min situation but would not pick for a family get away again for sure. We went to sea world 2 whole days while there and was ok for that.

Uncomfortable beds

The location was good. Hotel was clean and room was very large… plenty of room. The only problem was the horrible beds. My daughter’s bed squeaked all night long. Our bed was miserably uncomfortable. I can hardly walk this morning because of the pain in my back. Hilton…. Do better!!! Upgrade mattresses at this location.

We were very happy with our stay at Homewood Suites! The only improvement/suggestion would be the arm chair in our room was very dirty and worn looking, and the pool water was salty. Never had a pool with salty water before.

Nice place

Very Convenient location.

From day one until we left, our room smelled like cigarette. The toilet was clogged so they have to bring us a pump to unclog it. The room A/C wasn’t working and they were not able to accommodate us in another room. They gave us an industrial fan to deal with the heat, but that didn’t help. Unfortunately we were traveling and other hotels were fully booked, so we had to deal with this :(

Easy drive to AFBase

First, I never leave reviews. I do stay in hotels fairly often. We stayed here to go to Sea World and the river walk with my grandkids. We had breakfast together downstairs and the staff were the kindest and took care of us like we were visiting their home. Instead of going out to eat with 4 kids we cooked hamburgers on their grill on the patio. The weather was perfect, the kids got to swim as we spent time together as a family. I can't imagine doing all this at any other facility this close to the attractions. Would definitely stay here again.

From arrival and check-in guest services were great. Everything was so inviting and they offered so many things for your needs in lobby area..from treats for your fur babies, late night snacks so you dont have to leave hotel, outside patio with spacious bar seating, tables, and grills for hamgout time, to pool and basketball court. The room was very comfortable spacious and clean

Hotel stay

Clean hotel. A few things in our room could be replaced. A desk chair that was peeling badly at the arm rests. A light fixture in the ceiling of the bathroom was broken and pieces fell while we were sleeping. Breakfast was ok.

I frequently stay at this chain of properties. They are always clean and safe, with plenty of room to spread out.

Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was great on Saturday morning but I think they were overwhelmed on Sunday because they were out of everything for breakfast.

Hotel was decent. Breakfast was awful. Hot food was cold and overall area was not well-stocked or clean. Sticky and dirty floors. Waffle station was a mess.

Nice overall

Breakfast was a disaster. Only 2 workers and they were scrambling. Nearly everything was empty, milk, orange juice, eggs, bacon, butter etc. I went to breakfast a little before 9:00 on Sunday morning. Workers really needed more help!!!

one day stay

Room 306 .. both luggage cart weren’t working properly. Couch had stains . Pillows weren’t fluffy . Both queen beds weren’t comfortable , the tv control didn’t have a guide . Breakfast food didn’t have good taste. Not worth the one day stay

They need a trash can in the room so I and other people didn’t have to put are trash outside the door. Was there for three nights and maids never came and change the bedding or pick up towels and give towels we had to ask.

The room was clean. The beds comfortable. The staff was very friendly and made us feel at ease. The breakfast was good abd hot. We were well taken care of. They even had a guest social Wednesday evening. We have no complaints. From the very first minute we walked in the Manager made extra steps to make sure that we had no issues at all.

Very poor service. No WiFi.

They advertise WiFi with your room. My WiFi would not connect. I tried for over an hour to connect to internet. I called and spoke with front desk, who directed me to call their tech support. I called the tech support and was told they no longer service this hotel. I called front desk again and was told management, but not the front desk, would have the information. Management was not on duty. I had no WiFi for my stay there.

Room was great for 5 people. We had a kitchen. Living room and bedroom space plus 1 bathroom. Nice hot breakfast every morning.

Holiday Stay

The area had many choices of restaurants. The location was prefect.

Communication, the kitchen staff was rude. Front desk didn’t let me know the breakfast times and when I called front desk it took them a while to answer and when they did they were unprofessional. The hotel doesn’t provide water bottles.

The heater in the room was not working. We had to change the room. The blow drier was not working and I had to call them to give us another blow drier. Customer service was nice and cooperative. Breakfast needs to upgrade. Breakfast time was 7am-10am, but around 9:20 they started rapping and reduced service. At 9:30am they did not bring new food in the counter. 9:45 they took back everything in the kitchen. They should keep the food out side till 10am as they told their customers Breakfast time 7-10am. Or say 7am-9:30am. Other than this, everything was fine.

Good experience

I like the location of the property. Close to many restaurants and shopping areas.

Only one of the elevators were functioning, the ice machine on our floor was out of order, there was mold on the door trim and around the shower in the bathroom, the drawers of the dressers wouldn’t stay shut, and the ac unit was separated from the wall. The staff, however, was very helpful and friendly and the best part of our stay.

Awesome Stay

Nice clean hotel. We were able to check in early. Communication was great. Room were very roomy. Kids enjoyed the pool. The fitness room was nice also. I would recommend this hotel. If im ever back in San Antonio I will definitely be checking in again.
