Great Stay

This is a lovely, clean hotel that I will be glad to return to in the future.

It was close to event location and it was quiet even though near railway

Lots of great food and attractions near by. However, it’s located right next to a train track and both nights we awoke to the train whistle blowing.Cleanliness was VERY poor. There were handprint on n the doors and walls, stains on the carpet and furniture was torn. When walking through the lobby in the evening, there were still visible stains from breakfast that morning. Also chose this location because it advertised gym with photos of a weight rack. All this gym has is a treadmill, 1 cycle, 3 medicine balls, weight bench but not a single weight to be found. I have stayed at this chain several times in the past but this time was extremely disappointing.

Carpet was damp…however, still enjoyed my stay.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Breakfast was very good and they provided uninterrupted good service despite the snow storm that hit Houston while we were in town. Many thanks to the staff! The rooms are a little dated, but ours was clean, quiet, and much larger and comfortable than expected. We would stay here again.

I have absolutely no clue how this hotel has such good ratings. We booked because of great ratings but our experience was everything but great. Our hotel room needed a solid remodel and the cleaning was questionable. There was hair in the bathroom that wasn't ours (and not just a strand, a whole bunch of hair.) The shower was absolutely foul. Thank goodness we were only there for one night. The tile was completely cracked and extremely dangerous for our 1 year old. We had to block her from certain parts of the room due to dangers. I would not recommend this hotel. Like at all. They only provided half a roll of toilet paper and two towels for a room of 6. Only good thing was the closeness to NASA and Kemah Boardwalk.

The staff were nice and room is pretty spacious, however for the rate and rating of the hotel we expected the hotel to be better maintained, cracks on the wall and the hotel in general felt dated

The front desk was the greatest. The room was horrible 1st it had ants in the bathroom. Then to make it worst the cover on our bed had lipstick on them. The pool area was great for our baseball team and son birthday.

Poor breakfast. No water. No juice. The lady was speaking with guests and no service of refill of thise things plus coffie. Old TV did not go on.

Staff was very helpful and attending. Good breakfast.

Great hotel for a good price! Would go back if needed.

Available when I needed it to be after getting scanned out of a vacation rental. We evicted our stay and the pool. Breakfast could include waffles or something more filling.

Great stay at this location. Everything was super clean the room had everything we could possibly need. The only issue we had was the air conditioner, wasn’t working in our first room, but they quickly switched us to another

A very nice hotel!

The hotel and staff were very friendly and helpful. They even let us borrow a corkscrew when we bought a bottle of wine. the room was very clean. Bed was very comfortable. The pool was very nice and relaxing. Everything about our stay was exactly as we wanted it. Thanks for a very nice stay!

Room had some concerns and I told the front desk

I gave 3 stars overall rating because I reserved a room with a sofar bed but I got one queen bed room. we have 3 ppl.

Clean, spacious, and very comfortable.

Subpar for a Homewood Suites

I expected more based on the ratings for this hotel and name brand. First room AC controls didn’t work so moved us promptly at least. Rooms were quite dated, floor had large depressions like it might fall through at any moment, missing items like luggage holder, not cleaned well based on food crumbs in multiple room, no extra toilet paper. Not horrible, but not what you’d expect for a Homewood Suites.

Owner needs to repair shower head in 132 it’s ruining ceiling and floors by leaking. Other than that our stay was perfect.

Staff were very friendly

The pool was out of order even though when I made the reservation I looked for a hotel with pool and it was working. I thing they should let the guests that already have reservations know this is going to happen. I have two sons and they were crushed to find out they didn’t have a pool on their vacations. When I told the manager, her answer was that they posted it in their web page two weeks ago, offering no apology or something in return like an upgrade… Like we would be checking out the hotel website constantly looking for news… The first day we came back from our sightseeing and our room was not cleaned or made. The cleaning lady that same day went to my room to object that I complained about it and was upset, she spoke English very poorly and I couldn’t understand her but she was angry. Again, this shouldn’t happen!! Terrible staff guys! The area around the hotel is great, but I recommend you find another hotel with better staff service of the ones that are around the area. Nice breakfast

What didn’t like it was a family on top floor was noise

Worst family Vacation

We stayed for 4 nights and the kids wanted to use the pool but the pool was closed due to it being dirty. The beds were uncomfortable and the sofa. Cracks, pealing on the wall and the room had an old stench in the room.

I stay here quite often for work. Consistently same degree of friendly staff, clean accommodations and attention to detail. Nice job!

Great experience; our two bedroom suite was perfect for our family that included 3 young kids as they had plenty of room to run around. The breakfast was also a hit and the staff was very friendly. Our room could use an update but it was clean and cozy.

Quiet, clean and friendly staff, great for family.

It was like being in a two bedroom apartment. Lots of space for small family gathering. Feels like home. Of course there some things that can be fixed. Th positive most definitely out way the negatives. Thank you!!

The only thing I would have to say they needed to improve is the hot water. Goes cold very quickly.

Room 146 toilet chain kept falling off, unable to flush, re-connected myself. Top of fridge had white dust as sheetrock work was done but never cleaned (cleaned off myself). Patch work around Fire Alarm Mini-horn was bad repair Floor tile cracked Heavy mildew smell. NOTE: Room 146 had a same issues, same bad review a month ago.

Good location, friendly staff

Wonderful hotel and suite. One of the comfiest hotel beds I've ever slept in. Staff was super friendly. Breakfast was good. Only bummer was the train horn in the middle of the night, but thats not their fault.

The staff was lovely, and the main areas are kept up well although aged. Our room was pretty clean although dated. The bathroom was in horrendous condition. though. It had wallpaper peeling off the wall in the bathroom, they were cracked tiles, which could’ve been very hazardous, and the bathtub was in great disrepair around the drain.

It was a ok stay. Breakfast always good at any Homewood Suites locations. The rooms need a lot of up to date fixtures.

This was a nice quiet friendly stay. The breakfast was ample. Housekeeping was great. The only area of need is some signs of wear and tear.

Disgusting pool

The pool should not even be open to guests. It was so gross we wouldn’t even allow our children to swim. Chairs are falling apart. Walkway around the pool is chipping apart and is dangerously sharp in several areas. I got in the pool and the bottom/floor felt like I was standing in dirt

Excellent breakfast. Staff were professional and friendly. The shower water tap was continuously dripping water after shutoff. Shower water does not drain properly when taking a shower. This is common in old hotels. Not sure why. Didn’t bother to report since these things are never taken care off on our other stays in hotels. Otherwise our stay was great.

For a family of 8 (2 adults and 6 kids, 3 of which are a 1 year old and 4 month old twins), we absolutely loved the suite we were able to rent! Not only did it have 2 rooms with 3 beds, and pull out sofa bed, but it also had a kitchen and 2 bathrooms! The breakfast each morning was always different and so yummy too!!! The only disappointment was the pool was down for maintenance or something so the kiddos didn’t get to swim! Nevertheless, everything about this hotel was amazing!!!

Homewood Suites--Clear Lake

We had a wonderful check-in experience. I wish I had gotten the gentleman's name--he was phenomenal!! I only had two minor complaints,,,,there was quite a bit of "crumb materials" outside our door. Also, I totally understand conserving energy, but the hallways are so warm it's uncomfortable to walk down them.

This property is close to everything, shopping dining anything we were looking for. Great property very clean. Will be booking again.

Houston near Space Center

The location was great for visit to the space center. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The downside of the hotel was that it is aged and probably due soon for remodel and upgrades. Our issues were the ceiling fan in the bedroom would only turn at a very low setting, but thankfully the AC system was adequate. The microwave in the room would run but not heat food. And the AC system in the second floor hallway was definitely out. In saying the above it was not a deal breaker and I would stay there again if we needed to.

There was no maid service all weekend. The manager stated this is normal for them. I told him it wasn’t what I expected. They don’t pass the savings on to the consumer on the weekend.

at check in i was charged an extra $60 for possible "incidentals" never got a clear explanation of what that means - the room was clean but plaster peeling off the walls, mattress. were motel 6 quality, etc the most uncomfortable night i can remember in a long time. room was rented for 3 adults and one child but only 2 bath towels. We spent all day at NASA and at dinner that evening everyone voted to leave early(lfor a night that was already paid for) and drive 6 hours to get back home for a good nights rest. very disappointed.

Room not cleaned, furniture ripped, tub faucet leaked, bathroom outdated, wall trim ripped, no soap for dishwasher. Staff was nice.

Good stay, convenient location & nice suite

The hotel staff was friendly. The suite was a good size, 2 rooms, 2bathrooms. The room could have used an upgrade but it was very convenient to the drs office. We will come back.

My family of 6 were staying for one night so my kids could show at the Houston Livestock show. Went to check in at 330 and they advised our room wasn’t ready and to come back at 4. When I came back at 4 the room still wasn’t ready, so they gave us a different room. Has issues with my card. Then had to get our room key re-keyed because it didn’t work initially. Room it self was nice and comfortable. Very frustrating check in.

Everything was nice—food was good workers friendly

It was good except we didn’t have cold water. Every time we washed our hands or take a shower the water was scorching hot. We complained but they said that they could move us from rooms. The rooms offered was a downgrade, so we decided not to move to a smaller room.

wonderful, helpful gentleman at desk,,,a credit to your property. the late afternoon snack provided, so nice and just right.

The hotel itself is close to a strip mall. It did not have clear signs at the entrance the only signs that you see are for a massage parlor. The rooms were okay but there were broken tiles and ripped wallpapers in the bathroom. The kitchen did not have the cutlery/ knives. No dishwashing liquid either. It would be a mistake if you had booked this hotel for the kitchenette. The TV in the main hall color issues and we couldn't fix it with the remote settings.

Friendly and fast check in. Room was large, kitchenette, seperate areas. Room was very clean and comfortable bed! Would stay here again and recommend!

Friendly and Hospitable

Very friendly, free water bottles and fruit when checked in, hospitable, and attentive. We had a great experience here and we’ll definitely return. Quiet and easy access around the building. The workout area is very small and limited but able to workout comfortably. We recommend staying here.

This property was GREAT! So much so, we wished we were staying more than one night! The rooms were like a mini apartment. Had a little living area, a mini kitchen and dinette area, and even a fireplace! It really felt like home! Beds were comfortable and sheets were soft! Will be staying here again when I visit Huston!

The staff was so awesome! We loved that the bedroom was separate from the living area and kitchen. The couch had seen better days and we could tell the property was a little older. However the bed was super comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Well located, Clean needs upgrade, one bad apple

The property was clean but it does need an upgrade. There are a few unsightly stains on the older carpet, some restroom tiles were broken or loose in our second bathroom. The staff was kind, clean and hardworking for the exception of a pale white man , the front desk clerk - blond-ish red haired - who was extremely rude to a Florida family who accidentally overstayed a few minutes at the pool.

Nice Stay in Clear Lake

Nice swimming pool. Room was nice. No complaints. We don't eat breakfast so I can't comment on that. Hotel is next to Railroad tracks but I never heard the train.

Did not have the pre-covid amenities such as hotel information in the room, ice machines etc. But otherwise it was a vrry nice place. We woukd recommend this hotel.
