The room was especially comfortable, I have been on beds in China that were hard, but this was very comfortable, the staff was extremely professional, courteous, and pleasant. Plus, many of the staff spoke English, which was especially good for us. Special shout out to Yolanda and Joy who made our stay special.

I recently celebrated my 33th wedding anniversary at the Holiday Inn Hongqiao Shanghai, and the experience was beyond exceptional. From the moment we checked in, the management went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. We were delighted to find that our room had been upgraded, adding an extra touch of luxury to our special day. The highlight was stepping into our room to see a beautiful surprise, thoughtful decorations, a stunning bouquet of fresh flowers. Another surprised was a delicious anniversary cake was delivered to us by hotel management staffs. The attention to detail and the warm, personalized service made us feel truly cherished. Every staff member we encountered was welcoming and attentive, ensuring our celebration was perfect from start to finish. This level of care and hospitality turned our anniversary into a truly memorable occasion. The food in the restaurant has lots of choices and yummy. I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Hongqiao Shanghai for anyone looking for a hotel that values its guests and celebrates their special moments.

I very much enjoyed the cleanliness of the hotel, the very kind helpful staff and the morning breakfast was very delicious. One downside of this hotel is it is not walking distance to any subway so you will have to get a car to get to the subway.

Value for money family experience. Kids enjoyed indoor swimming pool, with controlled temperature and spacious locker/shower area. Food was excellent including free breakfast and nearby convenience store. Staff are very helpful.

The only problem I had was, and this has nothing to do with the hotel itself, was the location of the hotel directly below the final approach of planes landing at Hongqiao. Made sleeping difficult with plane passing directly overhead at very low altitude every minute or so.

We didnt book room with breakfast. But we needed to have breakfast there, so we paid when we hot there, but the staff was so nice to help me to get the discount via wechat ,even i was not able to pay via wechat. Still a very friendly service.when check in, it took a long time. They should improve it.

Comfortable hotel with great pool and gym

The hotel is about a 10 minute ride from Hongqiao airport. On the way to the hotel, the taxi driver told me in Chinese that he wasn't happy about the short trip. To make him happy, I promised him a big tip. About the hotel, it offered great value for the money. The room was big and comfortable. The fitness facility was actually a big health club for the paying public, that hotel guests could use. Thus, the gym was fully loaded and the indoor pool was big. At 630 am, the concierge booked me a taxi back to the airport, making me happy.

This is a very nice property in a good location, not far from airport or from subway. Service was excellent, breakfast had great variety. Room was spacious and well appointed. Only drawback was that air conditioning did not function very well.

Stay was good just for 1 night business trip

Not actually an airport hotel

This hotel gets credit for exceptionally pleasant and helpful staff. It's a nice facility too. But it's not a real airport hotel. The shuttle stops at 6:30 pm and runs as little as once every two hours and not to T1 at all. The taxi lines at Hongqiao are usually about 45 minutes long, and drivers do not want to go to close destinations. They also don't know where this place is. There's no subway stop. So it turns out to be way less convenient than staying in the city near the subway. If you're not just overnighting for the airport, it's a miserable industrial neighborhood.

Good hotel for business

Good location if you need to go to the national exhibition center. The hotel is closed to the Hongqai airport so may hear the noise of the planes in some of the rooms.

Best hotel experience in China!! The hotel was really up to International Standards, excellent staff and prompt services. The location is ideal with a commercial centre and Carrefour supermarket walking distance away. Highly recommend to foreigners transiting through Hongqiao Hub.

Excellent mid-priced hotel close to SHA

This is a new hotel, located very close to Hongqiao Airport. So close, in fact, that it lies right in the flight path of jets landing at the airport, and every few minutes the roar of those jets will make itself felt in your room. Thankfully this all subsides by midnight. If you can tolerate the noise, the Holiday Inn is an excellent hotel. It is located 1 block from a bustling 4 level mall with a wide variety of stores and restaurants. It's also down the street from the historic Qibao town which is a major local tourist attraction. Rooms are nicely decorated and well-equipped, although without the fancy frills of the 5 star hotels. Staff is friendly and speak good English. Breakfast is included in the room rate and features a very nice buffet, fresh ingredients and a selection that changes daily. The best feature of the hotel is its health club, which is run by Will's Gym, a commercial fitness chain in Shanghai. As such, it is a comprehensive full-service health club with pool, spinning room, a full selection of cardio equipment, and an excellent weight room meant for serious lifters. The Holiday Inn was a nice surprise and considering what you get for the price, an excellent bargain.

Very Well Done Property!

Choosen for it's location to Air and Rail arrival and departure points, this property is very impressive from first impression to last. Our room was upgraded to a suite upon checkin due to a convention on site. We were overwhelmed by the generosity of the staff throughout the property our entire stay. The buffet meals, both the dinner offered to us and the breakfast that we did indulge in were excellent. This porperty would certainly meet the needs of any visitor for professional and leisure travel. Located with ample shopping of any kind and local street food also available, you have the opportunity to experience both commercial and more intimate Chinese offerings.

OK but small

Nice hotel, clean room, comfortable bed, fair service.. Location is the best for convenience. Luggage left at the hotel as if you leave your thing at the airport and can have one more full day in town... no burden to carry things on the way to airport... Also, the airport is accessible to other cities via train and to the town via metro.. everything is at the airport.

Nice hotel near Hongqiao Airport.

The hotel is beautiful and clean, and everything works perfectly. Even the restaurants are good (to my surprise - I didn't expect that in a Holiday Inn). The staff are friendly and professional, although if you have a complicated problem you may have a hard time communicating it. My main complaint about the hotel is that planes fly very low over it and it can be loud - obviously, that's the kind of trade-off you face in choosing whether to be close to the airport or farther away.

Holiday Inn surprises with this hotel

I only stayed one night, but I got an upgrade to the executive floor after checking in. It was complimentary. This hotel is trying hard for your money. And they're doing a solid job. I would stay here again on business, especially since it is so close to the Hongqiao Airport. A couple of comments for improvement: wifi should be complimentary in the rooms (it's only complimentary in the lobby as of the date I'm writing this) and the shuttle service needs to be better explained on line. For example, the shuttle service ends at 6pm daily. If you have a late flight, that needs to be stated somewhere in print. Also, the shuttle service only goes to Hongqiao Terminal 2 (no service to Terminal 1) every OTHER hour. Finally, the shuttle bus driver should speak some English. The one who took me to the airport did not (or acted like he did not).

Excellent Choice

Holiday Inn Hongqiao is an excellent choice for a business trip in Shanghai with very pleasant staff always ready to assist. New build with good facilities . Excellent breakfast and good coffee in the lounge area. Maybe sometimes the noise from the planes landing at the airport intrudes a little. But overall very good value and would stay here again .

The hotel is new and very beautiful. The rooms are large and the beds and bedding are great. The morning breakfast was amazing. My only criticism would be that the internet was VERY slow and unreliable. This needs to be improved. Otherwise it is a great hotel.

Nice, newly built hotel, but lack of heating in the lobby and the ground floor restaurant made for quite an uncomfortable experience while we waited to check in. Conveniently located near Hongqiao airport with lots of surrounding shops. Buffet breakfast was nice, but had to rug up!

Der Aufenthalt war nicht wie erwartet. Gebucht habe ich Clubloor, bekommen ein normales Zimmer. Die Lounge, welche ich mit meiner Buchung bezahlt habe, war geschlossen. Das Hotel liegt direkt in der Einflugschneise des Flughafens. Was zur Folge hat, dass gefühlt im Minuten Takt die Flugzeuge mitten durch das Zimmer fliegen. Ohropax lagen schon im Zimmer, was aber in akzeptabel ist. Leider ist das Hotel nicht weiter zu empfehlen.

Great experience

I just had a lay over stay at this hotel but it was a very nice experience. The best part of it all was the service from the staff. I arrived late in the evening and had no chance to get something to eat at the hotel because of the time I arrived. Anne in the reception with out any hesitation help me order some take away food as well as paid for it because I had issues with my Alipay. Thank you Holiday Inn for a great experience and a special thanks to Anne in the reception for the great service.

虹橋空港付近の展示会に行くために利用しました。 空港付近。ということもあり周囲のホテルもそこそこ 価格が高いですが、同等の価格では部屋も広く ロビーも大きく、価格以上の価値があります。 理由としては、真上を飛行機の離着陸があるため 音がうるさい。ということですが これがなければ、１．５〜２倍近い料金でも 納得できる施設です。 歩いて3分くらいの所にレストランやバーなどが 集まっていて食事にも困りません。

綺麗で虹橋空港から近いので便利です。

1. 무료 upgrade로 Suite Room 사용. 로비 coffeeshop 자리가 마땅치않아 제방 거실에서 업체미팅도 하고 편하게 잘 지냈습니다. 2. 욕실에 일회용 면도기와 빗이 없어 조금 불편했고 그 외는 불편함없이 지냈습니다. 3. 가구들은 깨끗했지만 조금 낡아 보였네요 4. 아침 식사 경우, 이 호텔은 홍차오 공항과 가까와 올때마다 항상 사람이 붐비네요. 라면 제공없으며 음식 수준은 보통입니다.
