Great staff , Resturant had excellent food
All good
Recomendable
Nice hotel. Friendly staff who are very knowledgeable about Rome and the tourist areas. Good information about the metro and train networks. Breakfast is good, and plenty of choice. Restaurant in the hotel is good and plenty of choices for both adults and kids. First time in Rome, so hotel was good but you have to travel in to the main tourist areas by metro which is cheap enough.
Staff was amazing and paid attention to our needs!
its a great hotel and service but it’s a bit far for more sightseeing
that staff are very helpful and food is great. We stay in the first floor which is very noisy form the restaurant in the ground floor during the meal service. There is no safety box in the room. It was a theft incidence near the bar on Saturday evening.
Breakfast was excellent.
Convenient for a one night stay close to the airport for an early flight. The carpets could be cleaner and the hallways smelled a little musty. Check in was efficient.
Fan noisy
The price was good. The property was very clean. It had two queen beds in the room, not many in Rome have. Unfortunately it was far from the center of Rome. Meals were expensive for what you get at the hotel.
No AC
I was surprised there wasn’t any AC. I called the front desk and they said to open the windows. I opened the window and soon closed it since the smell from outside was overwhelming. The overall condition of the hotel was just okay.
The staff was great! Beautiful hotel and loved it there until next time !
The property was excellent
Per prezzo-qualita' e' un ottima scelta
very clean and welcoming
Everything great. Great food choices. All clean and modern.
The hotel facilities are basic
Convenient for the airport. The hot water was turned off form 12-4 so it was a bit disappointing that we couldn’t shower before heading to the airport . Great to have a restaurant in the hotel as their isn’t much around
Holiday Inn should have basic necessities like toiletries and iron and ironing board
Good stay with some suggestions
The general feedback is good, hotel is very clean and close to metro station, parking is available. but some difficulties in the room was not enough electric sockets available, nothing near the bed or even none for kettle. Food is good, but breakfast dishes repeated everyday the same which was boring.
Very nice and clean with amenities. Close to the train so that’s easy but be ready to navigate and be on train schedules for everything
Great location to all the sites, small rooms with high ceilings, only complaint the water temperature of the shower but certainly not a deal breaker. Great breakfasts. Would definitely stay again
ean nice place to stay.
Loud
It was very noisy in hallway early in the morning. Hard to sleep. Kept getting awoken by noise from Cleaning staff and customers.
Nice hotel close to FCO
Quick check in. Nice room except Faint smell of smoke in it. Hotel was nice enough to schedule a shuttle for us to the airport since our flight was not during the normal times. Taxi driver did not really want to drive us from Rome Termini to the hotel (“oh that’s too far”). Check with hotel and see if they have a shuttle from train station.
Clean and friendly staff
Ok
Restaurant was incredible, staff was off the charts wonderful, room was fine, nothing spectacular but the location wasnt great for tourists. Surrounding area felt more industrial/commercial. Stayed at another hotel for the second portion of our trip and did miss the food from this one. Cant have it all i suppose lol
I think the hotel is okay but the location is not good for tourists. Means of transportation is poor and the area is business area. No nearby food place except taking taxi. The location is very far from Rome central. Would not recommend if you are traveling to Rome for tourist
Unfortunately our flights were delayed, connections missed, resulting in late midnight expected arrival. When we notified hotel, they declined our late arrival as well as refused reimbursement for prepayment. We will contact hotels.com for advice. Had to book alternate hotel for night, paying peak rate. The unforeseen perils of reserving small Guest House accommodation.
I loved the pool and breakfast . Poor internet and air conditioning
Great hotel. Subway station 10mins walk which can get you to Roma Termini (main subway station) and even the airport. Hotel is isolated thou with no stores/restaurants within walking distance. Car/train is only way to transport.
I lijed the pool, breakfast service, stuff and lobby area
Middle of nowhere
We stayed here for the pool, which was wonderful. The room itself was okay, however the countertop in the washroom was not securely attached, and the air conditioner kept dripping at the entrance of the room which kept us awake at night, and also made the carpet soggy. The staff attempted to resolve the leak issue, but it didn’t last long and the dripping returned. Other than that, the hotel was clean, the pool was amazing, and the food was enjoyable.
Good hotel near the airport but far away from the city Clean, breakfast is good but our rooms were near the cleaners room lots of noise at night
Didn’t expect the location very far from everything!
This was a great stay for our family of 4!!!!The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and 7 minutes walk to the train station to go to the main sites ( Coliseum etc.about 30 minutes by train), the food of the restaurant was incredible and the staff always polite . Super clean and updated. Will definitely go back .
Convenient hotel for getting to the airport and going into Rome city centre. Pool is beautiful. The actual hotel is a little run down, but overall very comfortable.
This is our fourth year staying at this hotel. Great for familles
Not entirely as pictured. Some rust and clearly some upgrades required. Remodeling the rooms would make this property more appealing. Pool is excellent and staff very courteous.
This is a great American style hotel with spacious clean rooms and a nice pool.
Good beds, clean, and decent general state of the property - breakfast has good choice. Train station 5mins walk away with service to city every 15 mins during day, and every 30 mins until quite late. 1Euro pp only to Roma Ostiense station where you can join the underground system. The one point which was a touch irritating was that if you wanted to have dinner at the hotel you really needed to make a reservation, otherwise you would either be waiting a very long time for a table, or accept the fact that you probably wouldn't get served until at least 2130.
Every thing good ,espeicialy breakfast, the people working there all ,espicially on the desk. Very good
Outside does no justice for what the property presents on the inside
Very nice
It was only 1 night to get to the airport n the morning but it was clean, staff very friendly and helpful. I would recommend and stay again.
It is nice , enjoyed the pool area . Clean and near to train station that is accessible to city and other town area.
Very friendly staff and very clean hotel.
Very efficient check in and checkout, lots of staff
Very courteous and friendly front desk staff and dining room staff. The facility is easily accessible from the train station.
A functional hotel for purposes of getting you to airport
The hotel was located 20-30 minutes from the city. It cost 10eu per person on the shuttle and that was only half way. Cab cost about 30 eu. There are no stores or anything near the hotel. Once you the leave hotel, it’s hard to leave again as it’s costly and far. Bathroom is very old.
Loved everything
AC needs improvement. If you book in summer time AC is not cold enough for a comfort stay. The restaurant might have good food but waitresses needs to improve on English language. They don’t understand well on how you request the food to be made. Location is fine if you are looking to be close to the airport but if you want to request UBER services to visit the attractions in Rome, prepare your wallet because each trip will cost you $30-40 per trip. Don’t really recommend this place if your goal is to visit Rome but for regular stay is good enough since they offer parking for around $10 a day. Another thing to consider is that Rome don’t have UBER eats, so no restaurants around to walk by the hotel so you will be ending eating in the hotel restaurant.
Staff and service was excellent . Hotel is a bit dated as far as rooms go but exceptionallly clean. Restaurants and breakfast were fantastic .
The property and hotel are beautiful. The bathrooms could be a bit renovated. The pool is beautiful. There are restaurants and bars that you can eat at without going out. One of The receptionist I found a tad rude. However there was a whole bunch of teenagers that were making noise all night.
Good for close to airport, but that’s it. Nothing in the area
Great hotel
The holiday inn dinners were great! The breakfast was too expensive and not too good.
A good hotel for short stays.
Good family hotel with pool and restaurant, clean and comfy, close to the airport. A great hotel to stay for the night while awaiting a flight. Too far from Rome and situated in a more business area where there isn't much outside to venture.
Good distance between airport and city centre but nothing really around the hotel property. Staff were unusually cold and unaccommodating. Rooms were dated but did the job if you just need a place to lay your head.
Great hotel. Clean. Friendly staff. Quite a bit away from ciry center.
Good Hotel
I loved the dining and bar service. The ambiance of the dining and the bar was amazing. Definitely worth the visit!
Good
Foyer Very modern and room large and comfortable for a family of 4.
This was an easy place to stay in proximity to the San Siro stadium. It's not close to very many restaurants or shops and it's not close to city center. You have to pay extra for the pool, it's not included in the price.
Good place to stay near airport.
This was the perfect place to end our trip with kids after 2 weeks of traveling. All they wanted was a pool and downtime. A nice day before our long flight back to Canada.
Great pool, location is close enough to FCO airport but nothing really in the area within walking distance so had to eat at the hotel restaurant for most meals. Hotel pool forces you to wear a bathing cap and they will charge you for these if you don’t have them. Bathroom did not have a fan and there was mildew/mold on the ceiling.
The hotel itself was very nice but the rooms were so hot. The A/C is terrible even at the lowest setting and has a muggy smell at times, probably because of the tempature.
Super close to the train that transports to the airport.
Great property in an excellent lication
Very noisy. We were in a room next to the elevator and could hear it all night long making banging noises. Impossible to get any sleep
Average hotel with below average dining. Upon arrival, our room only had two sets of towels although there were four of us. I requested another two sets of towels directly from the front desk at around 8:30 pm and was assured housekeeping would deliver them momentarily. One hour passed but no towels, 1.5 hours passed and no towels. Called the front desk 3 times and they’d put the call on hold and then not come back to the line. I went back down to talk to them about the towels and finally got them at almost 10:30 pm! We had an early flight to catch and just wanted to get showers in the night before. The next morning, trying to get breakfast was equally unpleasant. Average hotel with unfriendly staff and below average food.
Just a disappointing experience, it seems hotel was not expecting so many people and everything was terrible from a table at their restaurant for dinner, room service no one was picking the phones, room keys were not working had to go down 2 times just to get it activated and wi-fi was so slow it was hard for me and kids to get on … as it keeps saying lot of people are using jt and hence keep trying. Never will use holiday inn!!!
Property was clean and staff were welcoming and very helpful. There was no shuttle from airport as advertised and the breakfast area was very small - not a lounge/lobby area.
Saturday night and the restaurant is closed the carpet in suite is old. Way overpriced for a sip of coffee. Overpriced as in bend you over and dry. No water pressure in shower. Tons of noise doors slamming along with paper thin walls. Could hear the couple next door whole conversation that’s when she wasn’t couching til after 1am.
Why the need for swimming caps
Overall very happy with our stay. However the swimming pool required swimming hats which was inconvenient and outdated.
Only thing i didn't like is you needed buy something wear on your head get in the pool and the bartender aren’t really great at making drinks there. After that everything was good.
Nice hotel inconvenient location.
Very good
Not a 4 star in my opinion
We stayed 2 nights before flights out of Rome as close to airport. I would say the good part was the check in staff and the breakfast included had many options. The bar lounge bartenders were slow and not guest orientated, often watching tv or not paying attention to the lineup. The pool required bathing caps be worn. We didn't bother to use pool. I understand it is some law but in all our other hotels we stayed at, none required this. Sadly the roomwhile spacious, smelled of stale smoke and weak air conditioning. I would not stay here again.
Enjoyed the stay
It’s an awesome place for you to stayed close to the airport. It’s very clean, the staff is attentive.
Nice hotel just too far from town
This hotel was and the service was fine. It was near the airport but in a business park. The only place to eat without taking a taxi ride was the hotel itself. The rooms were hot and the usb port next to the bed wasn't compatible with my phone.
A nice place to atay with family with a nice pool and restaurant. Free coffee all morning. Muratella train station 7 min walk is good. 40 min or less to downtown Rome.
n/a
Stayed here end of May for 3 nights. Hotel rooms are spacious with good views. Staff are very helpful and polite. Nearest station is literally about 5 minute walk. This takes you to Central Rome within 20 minutes. It’s also a 10 minutes from airport by taxi. Breakfast is good quality with usual eggs, bacon, fried breakfast. Would Agree with other reviewers about the room soundproofing. It’s nothing to do with the walls - they are concrete. But sound still travels between rooms. Would use this hotel again though, especially if you’re looking for a bit more space than in central Rome, and don’t mind travelling in. Oh and the hotel pool is decent too. Didn’t use it, but sat around it!
Great experience
The facilities are reasonably good. The staff and services are excellent. The area in general is very quiet. Also, the hotel is close to a train station, and therefore the transportation to the center of the city is very good.
THE WORST HOTEL EVER
The most worst experience, PLEASE, think very carefully before choosing. Firstly they were to slow for check in..! Secondly iys all about the TIps!! The house keepwr were useless apart from marenata! They were racist and pathetic the rest of the lot! No manners what so ever.. In breafast area the time finisged for brrakfast and the gentleman working tberevtold us to leave, but he left others sitting amd was laughing with them and gave me a cut eye!!! The hiusekeeper didnt clean my room fir two nights and told me to leave my dirty towels outside my room and git aggressive when i told ger to pick dirty towels from the room.. the guest relations couldnt be bothered to tell me the bus left for the airport they kmow im checking out! The most useless staff ive ever come across, they told me one thing did another! The pool lookes very dirty and the bathroom was damaged the staitways were disgusting and as this hotel allows pets it smelled of urine in the lifts! Theybsaid things were ckose by but the truth is that its awaybfrom all the attractions 30/40 min ride amd you will pay each way 30 Euro the airport bus is 10 Euro each person. And please remember thete are NO LOCAL SHOPS ITS A LONELY AREA WERE THIS HOTEL IS LOCATED NO LOCAL SHOPS, tbey lure you in to buy the food from the hotel which cost alot and misinformation is given, its a dangerous area so PLEASE be carful from the pickpockets at the train station and all the attractiins please please be carful. Check the pics
Great
Stay was fine. The location was too far from my destination. Distance on site very misleading. I personally found the buffet breakfast limited.
The property is in need of repairs everywhere everything is too old l stayed in there many years ago and nothing changed
Fabulous
We had a wonderful time and the adjoining rooms so we could open and see each other made it even more special
Perfect for an airport stay
