Hotel undergoing significant renovations.

The hotel is a bit isolated in a corporate neighbourhood. We were glad of the on-site restaurant, which had both excellent service and excellent food. Our stay was fine, though we had not anticipated the construction work in the building. Renovations are important, but we arrived with plans to do some late afternoon work in our room. The very loud extended noise just a couple of feet down the hall made work focus difficult.

After booking I received a message saying there was construction for the pool and gym, I booked thinking I was going to go in the pool after my 11 hour drive. There was no mention about this on the website. I had picked this hotel and spent the extra money to stay here and there are no services. It should not be as expensive as it is. Also, on our second day our power went out in our room causing us to have to switch to 3 different rooms because either the room stunk of smoke, fan did not work, the room was disgusting and/or the sheets were not clean. Our trip was going very well and I am disappointed. For our first time in Canada we will not be coming back to this location.

Not a good hotel to stay.

Beds were extremely uncomfortable, pull out coach had a very very old bed. Breakfast was cold and minimal items availabe. Pools was under construction along with the hotel.

A Little dated…that bathtub leaked all night and so did the toilet. The pool was under construction during my visit but upgrades are good. Staff was friendly and efficient.

It’s an old property and hasn’t been kept up well. But the staff are nice and friendly and helpful. However, the parking lot was completely full of snow so it was very difficult to park. There’s no excuse for this - it hasn’t snowed for a week, so they could have hired a snow removal service to plow the parking lot with a truck or with a snowblower.

I sidnt like the cleanliness or the room. I didnt like the customer serice of the front staff. The maintenance person was prompt and knowledgeable when fixing the heat in the room.

Had trouble getting in the room. The key pad wasn't workimg properly. There were stains on the curtain and on the wall. When I lift up the toilet seat, it look like no one had clean it in a long time. The bed frame had tear marks on it. Overall I felt unconformable staying there.

No airport shuttle

We were stuck in Toronto for weather delays/ plane crash on Feb 17, 2025. I searched for hotels with airport shuttle a and this was the first hotel to pop up. After booking a non refundable night, I discovered there is actually not shuttles to this hotel from the airport or back to the airport.

Unfriendly front desk staff… duck tape all over the windows and dingy place in need of many upgrades.

Noise from highway vehicles and no bottle water in room

Nicely spacious rooms and living areas. Nicely decorated lobby and reception areas. The rooms need a bit more modernising as the amenities within the room are dated. I’d recommend updated kettles, curtains, TVs and better lighting. Other than those, a good stay overall. The reception staff were kind and pleasant and housekeeping were kind as well.

The TV, wi-fi access, fridge and bed were all fine... however... the bathroom fan was noisy, the sink drain was slow, I could not get the thermostat temp to change (stuck at 76F), one of my key cards did not work, and after I had my shower in the morning I could not get the tub faucet to stop dribbling. Access to the nearby Hwy 401 was good though and I actually like listening to the drone of the traffic as I fall asleep. There is nothing much worthwhile in the area for shopping or restaurants within walking distance. Also, a car in the parking lot had a bashed-in window the morning I departed... not good. Anyway, I'm sorry, but I will stay somewhere else the next time I'm in the area.

The restaurant server was kind, gracious and welcoming. The front desk attendant was ok- the hotel was obviously empty and I asked if there was any chance of an upgrade- she ignored my request and just checked me in. The halls were shabby and rugs were a stained but the inside of the room seemed clean. The lobby is nice.

Kinda on its own beside the highways. Furniture in the room is nice and bathroom is very accommodating. -1 star for basic cable and no microwave in the room

Heating and AC

Thermostats don't seem to wirk well at maintaining the set temperature. Either to old or too hot.

Everything was OK.. There were a few outdated items, but nothing to be concerned with.

Great Value and Service

Stay was quite comfortable. Check In process was quick and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable. And the location was extremely convenient for the purpose of my trip. The on site restaurant and bar was also an added bonus as I was able to have dinner right on site.

Overall our stay was good. The hotel was a bit old and did show it's age.

Excellent service. Very convenient for my short gateway. Will consider this property for next travel in the area.

Room was a great size and comfortable... Except the temperature was preset for 69 and could not be adjusted. Would have liked some control of the room temp. Key card reader was also not up to par. Took upwards of 10 swipes to get in my room regularly. New key did not change the situation.

The room we booked smelled damp and dirty. The sheets were dirty and with stains, the bathroom was old and dated as was the room. The shower head was loose and literally falling off. We had to request the front staff to change rooms and at first they were not willing to change rooms they sent housekeeping to spray the room which made it smell worse, finally after complaining again they switched us to different room. This was one my worst experiences in a hotel. The only positive was the breakfast which had a lot of choices and variety and was one of the better breakfast buffet I have had and the price was very reasonable.

I really have a bad experience one white lady working on a night shift while check in she ask me for a credit card for security payment I don't have credit card at that time so I ask her to accept debit card and she reject that so request again so she said she can't check in like that. So I drive to my friend home again 60 km to get credit card 💳 physically. When I reach them back old person was standing there at check in I gave him card and ask question again that will you guys just only accpt credit card for security deposit so he said no problem if you don't have I can accept debit. So I complaint for her there but didn't get any good response. She was racist. Company need to take action against that type of things.

Property needs updating and modernizing. Room was tired and worn. Room pictures in advertising does not reflect all rooms. However, easy access to highway if travelling through.

Washroom has leakage taps and while we take bath, water comes out of the tub and makes the floor wet. To heat food I didn,t have Oven too.

Room was at the end of the hall on the side facing highway. Very loud but would suit Formula 1 fan.

Room had a wet spot on the carpet outside the bathroom. Curtain had a rip in it. Found the room dusty/dirty.

Nice stay!

Fridge was leaking, ants in the bathroom, stained couch, the plug for the tub didnt work, the tap was backwards cold was hot and vice versa. 2 out of the 4 workout machines werent working. No housekeeping came to give fresh towels or clean up while we were out. There were 5 of us to a room so we made it work.

I didnt like the stay at all. Air conditioner was broken, washroom toilet was also not working. Garbage stay.

Overall experience was good, only recommendation would be to replace bed, that sagged in middle

I've never written anything but good reviews, until this. The hotel was tired and dingy looking. Our room was especially marked up and stained. If they take a security deposit, why not fix the damage from prior stays with the deposit money? I wouldn't stay here again, so very very over priced.

Hallway was a little dirty. Headboard on bed not in great shape but room was very clean, bed comfortable and great location!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice. The only negative, was that our room smelled of smoke, which gave us headaches ( were both non-smokers). The staff tried to help as best as they could though. Thank you ladies.

It’s next to a highway mind you. The parking is very limited, hard to get parking. But it’s a good price and good clean stay!

The view was literally of at least six lanes of the 401 steadily flowing day and night. There was also steady traffic of airplanes overhead during the night. The inner rubberized curtain blocked the light quiet well and provided quite a bit of muffling.
