Highly Recommend

We arrived too late for our host to pick us up so we overnighted at the hotel. The staff were spoke English and the hotel and room were immaculate. The restaurant food was delicious for both dinner and the breakfast the next morning. The menu was in both English and Spanish. The rate was very fair. The only thing that would have improved the stay would have been to have more than one packet of tea in the room.

Very Accommodating!

Very accommodating! I was originally going to come with my son, but he got sick, so my husband came with me. When we explained at the front desk they asked if we wanted to change the room for one with one bed. That was very nice! They told us we would need to pay for one breakfast as they do not charge the child’s breakfast, but when we explained this at breakfast they told us not to worry about it.

Elevator requires electronic room key to operate, desk provides only one room key upon check in. There were many cars parked next to hotel, apparently abandoned/dusty.

Service was good both in the hotel and the restaurant. Rooms are clear and ample, comfortable.

Convenient

Even though it was only one night me and my Fiancée agreed it was a great place to go back to. Nice friendly staff, amazing room, the shuttle service to the airport. Definitely a great place all around

Excellent stay. Our flight arrived in the morning, so we arrived at the hotel before 11:00am. (The shuttle arrived at the airport for us very quickly.) Even though we arrived 4 hours before checkin time, they gave us our room. That was very nice!!

The bar waiter was rude and seemed bothered when i requested for a bucket of ice that i brought down from my room. The waitress at the breakfast restaurant charged for a cup of coffee that was supposed to be complimentary :( I will NEVER stay at this facility again! Very disappointed.

They did not clean or change towels, Also AC broken and had to change room at 4am, terrible sleep for the first day. They need to pay more attention to maintenance and room service.

Everything was very good. Staff wS very friendly & helpful. The food at the Okive Restaurant was excellent.

Did not like the fact that curtains would not close by design. Good luck sleeping in once the sun comes up.

There were 20 in our party so we spent most of our time around the pool. We were there for the Men's U18 World Softball Championship for 11 days and would have enjoyed seeing the country, the city and enjoying some sights. The Holiday Inn Aeropuerto was a great hotel, it was the city itself that was a disappointment for us. The staff in all areas were courteous, friendly and helpful. Thankfully the restaurant had wonderful food since there was very little choice in the area. The dryer had bearing problems and marked up or destroyed everyone's laundry. The hotel staff washed our clothes and got out the marks, closed the laundry facilities and were arranging for a new dryer. There was very little to do in Hermosillo and nothing to see if you did go for a walk in this industrial area. The little stores around the area supplied us with what we needed to get started, then Uber took us everywhere we needed to go. The surrounding area had garbage strewn everywhere but we felt safe whenever we went out. We found a young Uber driver, Axel, who spoke English so we kept him for a week. He was amazing and took us through parts of the town we otherwise wouldn't have seen on our way to and from the Stadium. He gave us commentary on his City and the places we should see and food we should enjoy. Axel made our trip worthwhile.

we have stayed in other hotels in the area and no hotel compares to this one... beds are super comfortable pillows are soft and the best part is closer to the airport. i will stay here definitely every-time i come to Hermosillo

Airport shuttle and the ability to leave our vehicle in their care for 10 days. The truck was right at the front door and overseen by staff all day.

I will never stay at this hotel again. Everything was bad at best, and the staff was terrible. Especially the management.

my wife and two daughters had to spend one more night at Hermosillo because we didn't want to travel back home in the middle of the night from our Cancun trip. so we decided to stay at one of the hotels, and this hotel is really really nice, the beds are super comfortable, and they are close to many restaurants and shops... the only thing that I was surprised to know is that they only give you one free buffet, so you have to pay for the other three. Mmmm how inconvenient, but since my two daughters don't eat breakfast, we skipped it, and we moved on.. other than that is a great hotel.

We stay here when we're flying into or out of the Hermosillo airport. The staff are excellent, the restaurant has nice options at very reasonable prices. The room is large, clean and comfortable. We've never tried the pool, but it's pretty and clean.

When you ask for service

Good property, clean, modern, convenient also has shuttle service to the airport which is just 5 minutes away. Breakfast included. Disappointed that the pool & hot tub were both cold water. Restaurant 'Olivio" had good food and service. Would stay again.

Quick and easy

Dinged the property a couple of stars for the surrounding area. Everything else is 5 star within the context of an airport hotel. And in truth, nobody stays at an airport hotel because of the surrounding area. Proximity to the airport and facilities on site are why you stay here, and they’re excellent.

The restaurant is not fancy but has excellent food. The location is close to the airport. The surrounding area is mostly dirt and small industry. Friendly staff.

Convenient location to the airport!!

This is a good place to stay if you have a flight out the next morning as there are shuttles to the airport every half hour. The buffet breakfast at the restaurant is OK but not as good as others I've had in mexico. Hermosillo has lots of Uber and Didi so it's easy to get to other places in town for dinner if desired, but not really walkable to anywhere good.

At the pool there is an uncovered hole on floor. It caused an accident to my son, he felt in, his leg was stuck in that hole causing a bruise and cut in his leg. We reported to staff and nobody cares about it. The AC in our room was broken, we reported around 9 pm, they never fixed, we passed the night horrible due the hot weather in Hermosillo. At check out we mentioned it to the staff, and they just said they were sorry.

I liked how easy it was to book Holiday inn, I need my trust, through Expedia airport emergency. Also then I had to add on an extra day of the two rooms and rather than try to mess around with the reservation I just added another day reservation it was great. It was very good. The rooms were clean, great beds and bedding with selection of pillows including good quality down, and high thread count sheets. Proper water pressure in the bathrooms. Good security. Fantastic service/ warm and friendly staff, including housekeeping, front desk and the restaurant. Even the food was surprisingly good. Basic but consistent. Great coffee. The fitness room was basic but had everything I needed ( full selection of dumb bells and cardio equipment) for a thorough workout. The ambience was simple and trusted Holiday Inn/ Best Western style!! You could tell the rooms have been updated… I’d give it full ratings!!
