Everything was great. My only concern was the wierd noise in the elevators. At least 2 of them where making noise as if they have some cables banging when going up or down. In fact i could see a couple that got trapped in the elevator for 5 mins at least.

Good place to stay

If you’re a tourist and have never been to fortaleza I recommend this hotel. Has gym, pool, morning breakfast. Near the beach and near a pharmacy.

Wonderful stay

The rooms on this property are not well maintained or clean. My allergies were activated by the amount of mold and dust in the room.

O hotel precisa de uma boa atualização. staff super educado. No quarto, muitos sinais do tempo. Janela do banheiro que n˜o fecha, maçaneta do banheiro quebrada, porta do quarto que emperrava... para poucos dias, eu sobrevivi. fui à trabalho então usei somente para dormir. café da manha bem mediano. não voltarei.

Good location. Old building and breakfast area in construction. The breakfast serving in a small area and coffee machine out service.

It was an extremely beautiful area! Clean facility and amazing staff. Loved that they helped to direct us to a place to exchange money and shopping! They had several people who spoke English that could help with directions. Went to the pool but because of the sun being shielded by the building it was not an interest! Would be awesome it is was on the roof and you had the beautiful view of the city!!

Beautiful view and location was gorgeous. It was a safe area and you could enjoy yourself as a traveler form the USA! They had people who speak English at the front desk and courtesy parking!

Comfortable place

Comfortable, if outdated deco, room with amazing views over the ocean. Friendly staff and excellent wifi. Walls are paper thin though. Also the breakfast restaurant has table too far apart for social distancing. This reduced seating capacity causes chaotic lines outside with people piling up, thus defeating the purpose of social distancing in the first place. Finally, the breakfast room is very dirty.

No hot water

Good location, friendly staff and a good restaurant. The king rooms with balconies are large. Our group had 4 of these rooms. Unfortunately no one had hot water in their showers in any of our rooms for the entire stay.

Location of the property is within walking distances to restaurants and supermarkets. The walk way in front of the hotel gets alive in the afternoons and evenings with mostly locals. Safe environment around the hotel (Beach area and towards the Irasema-Mireles beach area). The area towards the downtown (right of the hotel facing it) it's does not feel as safe, specially at night.

Ok place, breakfast and pool were good. Nice staff. Rooms needs renovation. Getting a little dated. The worse thing was the WiFi. It was soooooo SLOW. Room 1210. It took me a few minutes to post this review. I had to open my door and walk into the hallway to get reception. I kept having to login continuously. I would chose another hotel mainly due to the slow WiFi.

I enjoyed the room and the view internet was ok but told staff several times the water in the room was not warm and the issue was never fixed

Great stay just across from the beach

Checked into our room by Adson at the front desk. Very friendly and professional. Room 2012 is ocean view, 2 double beds and a sofa. It was perfect for our needs and the floor-ceiling windows gave great views! The pool was very clean and had nice chairs, loungers and furniture. Sauna also in the pool area. Bed was very comfortable with nice sheets and pillows. Bath towels were plush. Amenities are also nice. Kettle for coffee/tea-making was appreciated. Breakfast was included in our rate and served just off the lobby in the Italian restaurant. Large selection. Can be REALLY busy in the morning, so be patient. Location is convenient to beach, restaurants and market. Easy to take an Uber to Centro or to/from airport. We enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn and would return!

Great location across from the beach and friendly staff. The mini bar was turned too cold so all of the beverages were frozen, in fact one of them exploded. The staff was quick to correct, clean up the fridge and replaced the beverages.

Old worn room that was dirty. Sink faucets were broken, bathrooms need an overhaul.

Staff was accommodating but toliets clogged twice on 3 days. Floor was slimmy and dirty. This hotel either put us in their worst room or is serious need of a renovation. Maybe both

This is the most reliable hotel in the Mucuripe/Beira Mar/Praia de Iracema zone. I particularly liked the breakfast buffet as it was very American friendly as they had my kids’ favorite scrambled eggs and bacon.

Great value for the price.

This property was an excellent choice to begin our trip in Brazil. We had a long flight delay prior to arriving and the hotel quality made it perfect for a good nights rest. Comfortable beds, large sized room, good shower. Breakfast was great and the surrounding area was very lively. Would recommend 10/10. @deviajelibre

Friendly staff, great location, good restaurant. I think we will come back to Fortaleza again and the Holiday Inn is an easy choice.

Holiday Inn Fortaleza is a nice place

Had some technical difficulties with my first and second room, but nobody can be blamed for these matters. What is important is that Ricardo at the front desk took care of me to ensure my other 6 nights would be as comfortable as possible (Obrigado Ricardo.) Breakfast was good, hotel was clean, location of hotel is right on the beach with plenty of restaurants nearby, plenty of police presence in the neighborhood. The hotel staff were the best part of the hotel. Everyone working as a concierge spoke English.

Nice location on Iracema Beach

Close to Iracema beach (good for walking in the mornings/afternoons) and walking distance to several services (Meirelles beach and Tabosa street). The area is safe but for precaution prefer to take taxi/uber if really late at night...

Excelente vista e localização, cama super confortável, ar condicionado gela bem e o black-out escurece super bem o quarto. Limpeza impecável, funcionarios prestativos e solícitos. Unico ponto negativo achei o café da manhã. Comida nao é gostosa e tem pouca variedade.

Le pire Holiday Inn

Le service etait bien par contre en terme d'infrastructure probablement le pire Holiday Inn de toute la planete. Tres loin des standards d'un 4* notamment l'insonorosation entre les chambres.

O hotel é muito bom, no geral. O quarto é espaçoso, confortável e tem uma vista linda. O único porém é que as paredes estavam descascando na parte inferior. Café da manhã muito bom! O salão de café tem uma vista linda da orla, é bem espaçoso e, em razão de acomodar muitas pessoas, um tanto barulhento. O hotel tem excelente localização.

Excelentes acomodações, mas o check-in bastante lento com apenas um atendente e uma longa fila que levou mais de 40 minutos.
