Friendly staff, nice and clean appearance, good and easy to find location with plenty of restaurant locations and a theatre nearby. The easy one button press pancake maker was a hit.

We stayed 4 nights and had a great time. I would recommend this place.

The staff were very helpful and receptionist also very helpful my family and I stayed for a week and our room was cleaned daily and anything we needed we would just ask and it would be given to us.

The pulled out mattress was so filthy with stains. It looked like it came from the dumpster.

The ladies at the front desk greeted us cheerfully everytime we walked passed the desk. It was a very good experience.

This was a last minute, unexpected stay. The staff at the hotel was so very friendly and helpful and enjoyed ensuring that we had everything we wanted/needed. Very kind staff and great location.

HUGE NO — Staff was nice

I have no idea how this property has so many good reviews. The only reason it has 2 stars is the staff were very nice. It’s our fault we booked in a sketchy seeming area — should have researched it better. However, that isn’t the reason for the bad review. Our room was nasty. When we entered it smelled like mildew and cat pee. The tile portion of the floor was sticky - gross. Around 10 pm we located the source of the smell — the air conditioner was leaking into the carpet. It was so flooded that the carpet would squish. Nasty. I’ve taken a video of my husband’s foot squishing in it and the AC leaking but I can’t post it. They offered to move us but we declined at that point since we have a little kid and didn’t want to go through waking him and getting him resettled. We were only there for one night. In the morning, we found some blood on the sheets, near the headboard. Staff and housekeeping were very nice. Breakfast was a free breakfast— not bad but not worth paying extra for either. Food was fresh. We plan to reach out to IHG over the state of the room, because it was obvious in the morning light that this wasn’t a short term issue. It had been wet and mildewy for a while.

Staff are great location is good, cleanliness is good BUT if you have any interactions with the assistant general manager or the GM like others have said in reviews before record them!! The asst GM screams and shouts at you and threatens you with he cops and tells you that you are not a guest when you ask her to explain herself! And the GM agrees is a with her and blames you because you kept asking her to explain herself when she walks away without explaining herself and screaming at you!!! I’ve got all my interactions recorded and available if interested It was an incredibly distressing stay and we will NEVER stay at an IHG hotel ever again

Everything was Great, The maintenance of the pool could be better. Not a big deal it was after the rain so bugs where floating around. Overall we had a great experience. Thank You for the hard work and pride the staff take in this location. Much appreciated

Loved every moment of my stay

Property maintenance , daily rooms cleaning was good, staff were very friendly and breakfast was awesome.

Flew in from New York to find out they were closed with no power with nothing but a note on the door. They didn't even give a phone number to call for reimbursement or with estimated dates they would be opening.

Rooms are just as seen on pictures. Stay was comfortable and accommodating just great for our weekend trip.

It was close to alot of restaurants. Cops parked on the back area. Pool was dirty whole time we were there. Breakfast was cold. Beds were comfy and ac was either freezing or warm. Train passing by at night wakes you up at night.

Staff was very nice and always cleaning inside however, pool was dirty and cloudy.

I was very satisfied with the service in this hotel. The rooms are big with a lot of space. Absolutely loved it.

Excellent service, Great stay!!

We had a great stay! On our second night, the A/C in our room stopped working and they upgraded us to a bigger nicer room for no charge! They definitely have excellent service and all of the staff were super helpful and friendly! Will stay there again when I'm in that area!

Air freshener overload

Room would have been nice if not for the plug in air freshener. There were 3! The smell is overwhelming. They are all marked ''DO NOT REMOVE' We removed them so we could at least breathe. Hotel is ok, kinda worn down, but fine for a night.

My 2 night stay

I just know the man said ill get my $50 incidental fee back. I waiting on that.

The Manager let us check in a little earlier because plans but us there earlier. Rooms were very nice and clean. My room was really big and I had a lot of space for the price I paid. Holiday Inns are very good hotels and we’ve added this specific location to or list. Thanks for having us.

Great hotel. Nice and clean. Friendly staff. Close walking distance to restaurants and Cinemark theater. Easy 12 minute drive to downtown Houston.

I didn’t receive the room I booked for and was not aware until I got into my room. No accommodations were made.

Great clean hotel, comfy bed

Enjoyed the stay close to Houston and we had a fun time!

Nice, clean, quiet and noticed police driving around twice, giving us a safe feeling.

What a great option for staying outside of the city. Easy drive to NRG stadium and downtown. The room was spacious and very clean, and the bed comfy. If I "had" to give any negative feedback it'd be we wished the water pressure was better, but nothing to make us rate this place lower or not stay again. We definitely stay here again!

The staff is friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and offer Dove products.

Easy and fast check in. Quiet, peaceful and very comfortable night sleep. Stocked on toiletries. Very clean. Good, warm and filling breakfast. We had left the hotel for a few hours already and noticed that my son had forgotten his headphones in the room. He was so grateful when they told us that they had found them.

Love the fact that they don’t use cheap soap. All soap is Dove products. I would stay there again.

Decent for a short stay

It’s a nice hotel with a friendly staff, but they claimed the pool was not in service and they do not offer room service as stated on their website.

Room was hot, hallway smelled like mold, swimming pool closed, and breakfast attended was hovering over us like we were taking to much!

The beds look much bigger than queens. Booked two queens. The room was good, no complaints. Near dining and shopping and a movie theatre. Just off the freeway, booked with that knowledge. A positive stay.

Such a bad experience with family

Staff is terrific!!! No proper response at alllll…. Have to call and wait so long in the reception for them to come and attend… We just said in the morning that we don’t need house keeping that day, but later when we washed and asked them… they denied. Though the staff was just next door doing the house keeping… the house keeping staff too did not even bother when I called 2 times run just 3 feet away to ask for something…. We started for 2 days and they did not even provide water bottles for the second day… we only had 2 8ounce bottles when we entered the first day… the next day they wanted us to buy it…. Or else go to the gym and get water on any cups… Aweful experience!!!!! This property is actually good with the room and cleanliness… may be this particular staff group is just taking it for granted…. Overall clumsy staff… not friendly at all…

The property and staff were great! My only hiccup was when calling a couple times to confirm room details, such as which rooms had a pull out couch or not. I got mixed information. However, overall a great experience!

Great place but with Musk

The Hotel was nice very centrally located and the employees were very friendly. But the rooms I got and the room reserved for my boss smelled and felt damp. So much so that my clothes smelled musky when I left my room in the morning. This is not acceptable.

Good for the price

It was a good experience. Perfect for my one night stay. The parking lotis pretty small. My only complaint was the room had a slight smell but everything looked very clean and it was comfortable. Ac was perfect. I like to keep the room cool. I would stay again.

Vending machine drinks are dated, need to ve replaced with newer replacements. Washing machine broke down, I had to hand wring all my clothes before using dryer. Front staff did give me another round for the dryer since machine broke down so that waa nice. Rooms had a nice smell, but my sheets were not changed there was crumbs ane hair in both my beds. The mattress protector needs to be changed out, too many stains in my opinion. Parking is good, breakfast is free , hot and decent choices. Pool is standard wish they had towels for outdoors. And check in/ check out process was quick, friendly and kind!

Slept like a baby & woke up to fresh smell of breakfast… their breakfast was amazing & they had a variety of foods to eat!!!

Everyone was very friendly and the room was great!

The small refridgerator rattled and made horrible loud noises, I finally had to get up and unplug it to get any sleep. The AC/heating unit only worked at 62 or 94, nothing in between. We were cold, then after turning it up were sweating, so finally we froze most of the night.

Great room -- very spacious. Loved having a fridge & microwave. Fridge kept our food cold & freezer part actually froze our ice packs!😃 Enjoyed the breakfast -- egg white and peppers omelette was yummy. Kids liked bagels, cinnamon rolls, & pancake machine. Oatmeal was good as well. Comfy beds in our 2 king room. Hot water in sink gets very, very, very hot. Be careful with young children washing hands. A/C worked great!! Plenty of towels & even a oven mitt for hot food from microwave.

Air conditioner problems but overall very happy

I requested to have a top floor room because we were in town for the funeral service of my dad, I didn’t want to have people walking or running above the room. We did get the top floor and it was clean and well stocked with all the necessities, however the air conditioner in our room had a loud thumping sound that would happen then it would just stop. Then twenty minutes later it would start thumping again and banging then stop. I was emotionally wore out and didn’t want to have to go through the whole change of room ordeal so I just toughed it out. It made for a very tiring next day on top of an already emotional circumstance. Overall besides the air conditioner it was a fantastic stay. Great friendly staff. Delicious breakfast with a great variety. I would definitely stay here again, just check the ac first😁

Everything was very nice and convenient convenient a bunch of restaurants to choose from in walking distance. Also a movie theater in walking distance. I just love the area and I will be back..

HIE near Channelview

Overall, a decent stay. Insulation was decent and kept out most of the freeway noise. small parking lot, but large shopping center next door probably OK for trailer. MAJOR GRIPE: cant get a decent shower, no water pressure. we had 2 rooms and both had the same problem.

Very peaceful and quiet. The employees were amazing and very professional. My only problem with this stay was the trash. The trash was not picked up our entire stay. Other than that, the and the room and the area was perfect.

Nice hotel. A+ for having a celing fan in the room!!! AC was ice cold. Nice bathroom. Rooms nice and updated!

Great hotel

Front doors lock at night and people need a room key to enter the building, so I felt safe. This wasn't a party hotel on a Saturday night so I was able to get some rest. The staff was friendly and the rooms were nice and clean. I'd stay here again.

Excellent service

My husband found the mattress more comfortable than what we have at home. Tons of electrical outlets available in the room. Bathroom had a walk-in shower (no tub), which was fine for us, but might not work well for guests with small children. Plenty of towels available, plus shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel dispensers in the shower. Tables were well spaced in the breakfast area (this review written during the Covid era).

Pam that worked the breakfast area was very kind and attentive. She checked up on me several times, and was so friendly!

They charged me even tho I didn’t even walk in to the establishment for no fuckinh reason.

It different than other Holiday Inn Express The beds were great and walk-in shower was the best! The only thing that was considered a Con was the shower needed some non-skid things added to shower.

The clerk didn't know much english, so he couldn't communicate well not only with me but with other customers. Breakfast was done by 8:30. The place coming apart and the elavator needs to be check, really this place needs to be torn down or charge less for the rooms

I was surprised at the size of the room. Large and clean, had 2 king beds! Great service and had no issues.
