Last night had the receptionist at the front desk been pleasant when we checked in, this review would be 5 stars. He was ultra grouchy after dealing with the guest ahead of me and her reward points. The receptionist this morning was very friendly. The property was exceptionally clean! Both visually and its aroma through out. This is the 2nd time I’ve stayedw at this property when traveling through Florida! Would stay again! Cleanliness is most important to me.

“System” was down so very flustered employee couldn’t do almost all of the things he needed to do. After waiting for over 20 minutes for him to try and figure something out, we were let into our room without access to room keys for ourselves. A total failure of having backup systems in place and/or educating employees on how to manage such a situation

Bed was confo. Room and bathroom could need a good clean. The main desk/table in the room had dust and I just swipe with a napkin and it was dirty. It was enough. I didn't check any further.

Great stay and the breakfast was delicious

I found several hairs on our lines. I didn't complain or make a scene. However, I did make they were aware of the issue. Their response seemed to be as if they thought I was trying to get out of the bill. The bill was already paid. So, that was not my intention. My hope was to bring the issue to them so they could rectify it. I won't stay there again.

Everyone of the employees were extremely nice and helpful but one. Erin, evening shift front desk. Seems he was so focused on being fast and efficient that he forgot about listening to the customer and basic courtesy. While answering the questions he were asked he was not emphatic at all. Nor even seemed to had understood instead was giving out automatic answers. Maybe he was having a bad night I don't know. I do know he accused me of being irated and went away "to let me cool off". I was calm and tired, not irated at all. Curious he was rude with me, my wife in a different interaction and with the customer behind me.

First room reeked of disinfectant. We couldn’t breathe. Desk clerk gave us different room which was better. Room was small but had adequate amenities. Certainly not worth the $130 we paid, which was just short of a two room suite in home wood suites and more than the very nice home2 suites. We have not had breakfast yet but I do not expect much.

The room smelled horrible, like someone sprayed a ton of bug killer. The TV was not hooked up. There were no blackout curtains so light was shining in from the parking lot all night. The water for the shower takes forever to heat up and is extremely loud, and high pitched, I’m sure everyone in the hallway could hear it. The tub wasn’t draining. I woke up too late for breakfast and when I looked at the food and beverages to buy in the lobby, there was hardly anything there. Why this hotel has an 8.5 rating is beyond me, it’s one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The lady at the front desk was indifferent when I talked to her, didn’t even ask how my stay was, just told me to put the room keys in the box. She also didn’t offer a receipt. Take the $129 I paid for that room and buy something to clean room 336, because I’m sitting in my car and I can still smell the bug spray.

Not impressed

The breakfast was great, they wanted 3 dollars for a candy bar. The internet didn’t work, everything in my room was moist!!! I had to run the heat to dry it out. Good shower and shampoo, water at sink would only get Luke warm.

When I got to my room, I discovered the tv wasn’t working properly. Called the front desk twice, then the night clerk - who looked rough - came in to fix the issue. Bad start, but rest of my stay was acceptable. Breakfast spread was excellent.

Great hotel right off I-95. Close to fast food restaurants and within 1/2 mile of a Publix Supermarket that had lots of options for eat in or take out hot meals and subs.

I usually have good experiences with Holiday Inn, which is why I booked this hotel. The room is nice enough. The TV will not turn on, and the lights are weird. It is noisy here. I can hear the TV and music from other rooms, and there is noise coming from outside too. The parking lot is narrow and that makes it difficult to navigate. This is probably the worst Holiday Inn I have experienced.

Check in was quick and easy, the room was ok and clean but VERY NOISY. It felt like there was no soundproofing in the walls or door and right next to us was the maintenance room: a constant compressor like noise was blasting so the night was anything but restful.

Property appeared fine from outside. We were staying the night before a funeral at Jacksonville National Cemetery. We came back to our room around 10pm and tried to watch TV. The TV would only turn on and off and the picture kept going black. We could not remedy this problem. Later during the night we saw a big cockroach crawling on the foot of the bathroom.

Staff was efficient and friendly. Rooms were clean.

We stay here quite often. Very clean room and bathroom. Security bars all around the bathtub. Very important for us. Great service. Head of maintenance is always on the premises making sure everything is in perfectly good working order. Hot breakfast served. Plenty to choose from. Plus a good assortment of breads and sweets. Hot cinnamon rolls are delicious.

Out on business, stayed 3 nights. Everything was great. Clean room, comfortable form bed, nice breakfast, etc. I travel a lot for work and it’s always nice to stay at a place that lives up to its prior reviews. My only issue, just a personal pet peeve, the drain in the sink was very slow. I hate slow draining showers or sinks when staying in hotels. Have someone snake the drains once a month, it’s not that difficult. Overall, job well done Holiday Inn.

Everything was good except breakfast area. Sitting area way to small and missing a lot of food items HIE normally has. We are loyal HIE users. However, these has become a trend. We see more and more HIE locations with declining breakfast service

This was a great & clean hotel. Friendly staff and nice room. Only downfall is room 112 is right beside an electrical room and it’s quite loud during the night. Ugh! It made for a not so good night of sleep.

The woman at the front desk was amazing she was lovely so helpful and this was our first time At Holiday Inn we are diamond Hampton Inn customers. We will stay there again our son and family are 5 minutes.
