Disappointed but not for long
Wish there was more English spoken at check in no hello nothing . I asked about breakfast time and was told in Chinese . The address I had was only in English not Chinese and very difficult to be found by taxi driver. Ordered dinner to be delivered but had to wait stranding up after a long flight because there are no chairs in the lobby. Pity
Great helpful staff
Nice
Quick and efficient overnight stay
Clean and good service
The hotel was not that close to the airport and it had a strong cigarette smell throughout the hotel, room, bed sheets and pillows. Staff did not speak English.
Easy to reach airport
Friendly staff and free shuttle service to airport
For $65 per night, you get what you pay for—a basic option for a quick one-night transit. The hotel offers limited dining options nearby, and the room has an unpleasant smell with dirty carpets. The AC was ineffective; it was initially set to 20°C, but the room was at 23°C. When I adjusted it to 18°C, the temperature rose to 25°C within 20 minutes. After calling the front desk, a staff member came to check the settings, bringing a strong cigarette smell with him. He confirmed this is how the AC works, using a temperature gun to show the air vent at 19.4°C while the room remained at 25°C, citing the sunny exposure as the cause. The air was humid and stale, and the hotel only provided humidifiers, not dehumidifiers. I didn't try the free breakfast as I had to leave early, but the one positive aspect is its 30-minute proximity to PEK airport.
Breakfast and front desk staff are excellent, the automatic greeting sound when car entered the gate interrupts my sleep at night.
The staff were polite and spoke enough English to get by without a translator. There's a convenience store right next to the hotel. It's a little worn, but nothing critical and it's about to be updated. Overall, it was good enough to say, I can use it next time if need be.
Terrible location, too far from airport, and too far from the metro so we couldn't get around. Rooms smelt like cigarettes, shower flooded and toilet flusher broke. No one spoke english, so communication was extraordinarily difficult, although staff did try to help with google translate.
Far from subway, outdated room, but comfortable place to say
Staff courtesy, staff were very receptive, and helpful
No hot water in bath room!
Staff was excellent you food was wonderful and lots dry get your clothes washed not available many places would like to have seen newer pillows
Had a convenience shop close by which was helpful, though we did not get dinner nearby so not sure about how easy it is to get food. Room was good, but did not get to enjoy the breakfast as we were rushing that morning. Staff was friendly and it was a good stay overall.
Nice rooms. Great breakfast buffet. Beds and pillows comfortable.
Could probably stay there again
Not as close to the airport as I would have liked. Close to several restaurants and a supermarket. Clean but worn out decor that is damaged in some places especially the bathroom. WiFi works but as you in China and you cannot use the regular internet as well as a lot of apps which is frustrating
Great service, spoke english (helpful), comfortable rooms, great breakfast, free airport shuttle service.
Conveniently located close to the airport! Very clean! Excellent breakfast . Lots of variety.Staff supports in dining area were greatl.
I am a Gold member of Hotels.com and I can tell you the staff members of this hotel are exceptionally helpful and courteous. Thumb Up with 100% customer satisfaction considering the room rate.
Shuttle is only specific times, and only from hotel to airport. Staff is friendly though.
Nice place. Clean and comfy. Good shower. Two gripes: 1) the first run of the airport shuttle is not until 7am. Many flights leave before this. I booked this hotel specially for the shuttle and had to pay for cab anyway. 2) similarly, breakfast was not until too late. An AIRPORT hotel needs to cater to airport travelers, or at least be clearer on their website. I overpaid for a hotel whose desirable features I could not use.
Excellent hotel.
Excellent hotel for one night stay before flight. Very clean, super friendly and helpful staffs. Good in-house restaurant and convenient location close to the airport. The complimentary airport shuttle is a plus. Will definitely come back.
Our room had no a/c and the temperature was between 24% and 25% Celsius. I complained to the office 4 times and they eventually brought a fan to the room. They also advertise that they offer airport transportation. When I called the hotel from the airport they explained that they only pick up from the airport and they only drop you off from the hotel. The experience was very disappointing and uncomfortable.
Very noisy traffic, very inefficient soundproofing. It was so loud, I actually thought the windows were open! Otherwise a comfortable, clean room.
Helpful staff and good breakfast
This was our first night in Beijing and we weren't dissatisfied. Good location, close to the airport (be careful of taxi services from the airport) and there was a 7/11 right next door....that plays instrumental Christmas music 24/7. The only thing I didn't care for was for the price we paid we weren't able to use the AC and were told to open a window that would only open enough to fit your hand out and not much more. They did say it was because its winter but it didn't stop the room from getting a little warm and stagnant. They do offer a great breakfast buffet that was super pleasant after a long hull.
Nothing to write home about, but it was a very comfortable and convenient overnight near the Airport in Beijing. Free airport drop off was a real PLUS!
Great place. Enjoyed my stay. Liked how close it was to the airport.
False advertising about shuttle service to airport
Clean, efficient, compact, just what I needed for an overnight before getting on a trans-Pacific flight. However, the shuttle service as described online is not what was promised. It implied 24-hour, both ways. I could neither arrange pickup from airport or service to airport at 6:30 in the morning. I had to make local arrangements for ground transportation. Annoying. I would NOT have chosen the hotel had I known about the limited shuttle.
mold under shower, menu could include some simple continental meals
Convenient to Airport...Good Value
Very good value for money...handy to Airport cost about 35 yuan...perfect for my very early flight ...because you never know how long it will take from the city with Beijing traffic
Recommend
Very nice end excellent hotel!!! Atendiment is good!! 5 stars confort! Room cleanliness Hotel facilities Short distance to airport Very beautiful!!!!
Good airport hotel
Good airport hotel. We went there because we had an early flight, and it met our needs well. The area is not interesting--a long way from the city, so I wouldn't stay there for sightseeing. Dinner in the restaurant was very good.
Very reasonable - but check the address carefully!
This was a very normal stay at a Holiday Inn Express. Because it's a good example of the kind of stay I expected, I rate it highly. The ONLY part that didn't work for me, is that Google Maps has two locations for this hotel, and only one of them actually exists. Assuming you're coming from the Capital Airport, your taxi will arrive on Leiguangying Road, headed east. you'll see a large hospital called Beijing Ditan Hospital on your right. what you want to do, is turn right at the light - that's Jingshun E Street. You'll see the Outpatient Entrance on your right, and the Holiday Inn Express that DOES exist will be on your left. It's about a block from the Intersection, and you'll pass a 7-11 on your left before you get there. i saw other reviewers also saying their taxi drivers had a hard time figuring out where the hotel was, so be prepared - the last 300 meters are the hard part! When you arrive, everything else will be fine. I especially appreciate Holly at the check-in counter. She had very good English (the other people I spoke to did, also), and arranged for my taxi quickly and accurately when I checked out. much better than trying to hail a taxi on the street!
Close to airport
Very accommodating. 7-11 less than block away. Free airport shuttle. Staff speak enough English to be helpful. Let me leave luggage there when I traveled elsewhere in the city.
Good place overnight before a flight.
It costs around 50 cny to take taxi to reach the hotel. No pick-up service in the weekend, even it costs 100 cny during week days.
It was a nice place to get a little rest after a long flight
Chinese dump with US name
Nothing good and old Moldy rooms I would miss on this one.....
Nice room!
One needs the address written in Chinese. We were astonished to find that the taxi drivers had no clue where it was. The staff was very friendly, and the room really nice.
OK for an overnight
It's ok for an overnight fairly near the airport but not great by a long shot.
Smoke so think you would choke
The hotel staff was nice, breakfast was greats and the hotel would be lovely if our nonsmoking room wasn't so full of lingering ciggeret smoke I felt like I was chocking the whole time I was there. It's not really conveniently located to anything but the hospital across the street.
Very good hotel for a short stay
Close to airport. Difficult to find a taxi driver to take you there, but persevere. Breakfast was complimentary and tasted very good.
This hotel is of a full suprise, great condition super comfy room and nice resturaent. It's 15 mins away by taxi and cost like £5 one way. It was two days before the Chinese New Year so the close by area were all closed and the hotel was fairly quiet. Overall I would recommand this hotel for everyone having a lay over in the airport
Out-of-the-way hotel
Everything was great except the location. It is too far from anything, so is not at all convenient.
Great for a quick stay
Had a long layover and Beijing and didn't want to stay too far from the airport and this was a great option. Decent price and only 15 minutes from the airport, some good food and a convenience store nearby which is helpful as well.
Enjoyed very much Centraly situated
Comfortable hotel very close to Beijing Airport.
Comfortable hotel very close to Beijing Airport, only 15 minutes. They serve breakfast, lunch and diner buffet for a very reasonable price and really good taste.
It's realy nice hotel , staff is cooperative can understand English and very convenient to travel airport as well as downtown by subway and bus
Nice, clean, quite and comfortable room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Taxi driver has a hard time finding it. It will be very helpful to tell the taxi driver that the hotel is right across from the Beijing Di Tan hospital. Will stay there again.
The hotel is a convenient location, the room was nice, breakfast was good. The only down side is not much within walking distance.
Nor really an airport hotel
I chose this hotel for an overnight stay prior to a cruise because I thought it was close to the airport in Beijing. It really is not close to the Beijing airport, nor does it provide shuttle service from the airport. I think it may be more than 20 miles from PEK airport, though it's address is Airport Zone. I called from the airport for a ride, but they said no. I had to pay $30 for a limo because we had many bags with us because we were going on a 55 day cruise. In fairness, they did have a van to the airport four times each day, which I was able to use on my departure. Few employees speak English. The hotel was clean and reasonable comfortable, methought there is no restaurant for dinner. The location is not convenient, and the only food was a nearby 7/11 shop. Traffic is heavy, and our room faced the street. I would not stay here again, the price of $85 a night is good for Beijing, but other factors would lead me to stay nearer the airport and one with a regular shuttle service, MHL
New hotel.
The hotel is fairly new. And the room was typical Holiday Inn Express, but a bit small. The staff was friendly and arranged my taxi ride to the airport. There's a moderately priced restaurant in the hotel. The food was ok there. Because of my early morning flight, I missed the breakfast buffet. The hotel offers a shuttle bus service to the airport. But it only operates from 7 am to 1pm on weekdays. No weekend service. The Wifi was good. Nothing much around the hotel. You'll be stuck eating all your meals in the hotel restaurant. It's about a RMB50 ride to the airport (US$1 = RMB6.45.)
Very nice, but not very convenient to the airport
Although I was only checked in for about 5 hours, I can say that this hotel was very nice, very well appointed, clean and comfortable. However, for a hotel that has "Airport" in the title the convenience to the airport is not there at all. There is no shuttle coming from the Beijing airport. That means you have to find a taxi at 1:30 in the morning. When your flight gets in an hour late from Kunming this is inconvenient at best AND it is 20-30 minute drive from the airport. They do offer a very nice breakfast buffet and 4 scheduled airport shuttles in the morning.
Hotel's location is excellent!
Moving around Beijing in its subway system was a pleasure. First, the bus stop is just in front of the hotel and a bus drive going to the subway station took us less than 10 minutes with a fare of only RMB 1per person. Security at the subway station was impressive - scanning all bags that the passengers carry (to prevent the Paris tragedy), and the subway fare of only RMB 5 per person. (Don't drive as the traffic is congested with millions of cars running.) The hotel is close to the Beijing Capital Airport. Hotel condition was great and the hotel staff was very helpful and professional, although not all of them speak English, so patience is required when communicating with them. Our free breakfast was also great, with a variety of menu. There was no minimum device to use the hotel's free internet / Wi-Fi - we had four devices using the Wi-Fi at the same time. The room is quite big compared to what we had in Yokohama, Japan, and it was clean. Given another opportunity, we will book with this hotel in the our future Beijing travel.
Comfortable Personal Trip
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The only problem with this hotel is its location. I could hardly find any taxi driver who knows the location of this hotel without a GPS.
Nice hotel for overnight stay
Ideal for staying the night. Good for the price, good rooms, breakfast included.
Convenient Layover
I had a wonderful experience staying at Holiday Inn Express Hotel. It is a perfect hotel for any travelers who are either in transit or having a layover in Beijing. It's very close to the airport.
A good overall stay
A good hotel stay away from city and near the airport, only setback its away from town but enjoy solitude.
Finally a clean smoke free room
Soft comfy beds, friendly staff, complimentary breakfast and airport shuttle. Perhaps the other horrible hotels in Beijing lowered my expectations but you can't go wrong with this one
Good ubication, near to subway
The staff is excelent, service to room is very good.
Good place for an airport stopover
A very good place for an airport stopover. Very clean and quiet with friendly and helpful staff. With a 7/11 next door who could ask for more?
Nice place but............
The room was clean and nicely decorated and the bed very comfortable, even had a pillow menu. The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet was very good. The neighborhood was decent but boring, you have to take a taxi there is nothing interesting within walking distance not even a decent restaurant. We booked here because it said they had an airport shuttle. They did not and we were disappointed. It's close to the airport but not that close, but it's quite a ways from the center of town where the action is. Next time we'll stay at the one in the city center.
Holiday Inn Breakfast
We were informed when we booked that the Hotel was 1 mile from the airport and that they had a great hot breakfast. This was quite a stretch as we were 16 km from the airport and the breakfast was not worth mentioning compared to other 3 star hotels we stayed at during this trip.
Clean, comfortable, overnight hotel
Very good option for convenient access to the Beijing airport (about 15 mins). We had an early morning flight and didn't want to worry about having to factor in extra time for morning traffic. The rooms were very clean, quiet and comfortable. The pre-packaged breakfast (egg sandwich and bottled water) was a bonus as there wasn't much time or food options at the airport.
Good basic hotel
The first three nights were great. Then came back for one night after traveling to another city. That night was not so good. The room was not fresh. smelled as though it had been smoked in. Staff denied it.
Expected more from Holiday Inn
Room very plain. Not very clean. Shuttle service limited hours. Had to book it 12 hours in advance. Wouldn't pick us up from the airport. Only shuttle service to the airport. We couldn't use because of booking rule and first shuttle not until 7 am. Would not stay again or recommend!!!
Convenient Stay near the Airport
One day at the hotel, it was quite convenient. There was food from very early in the morning all the way to midnight. This is pretty handy for cold winter in Beijing.
Best money value near airport
Very impressed with property and Staff. Will definitely stay here when I return. Also will recommend to my family and friends.
Great value for the money. Super convenient
This hotel was very convenient due to its proximity to the airport. Don't be confused. It's not AT the airport, and it's not super easy to find. In order to get you there quickly, my best advice is to tell the taxi driver to take you to the Beijing Ditan Hospital. The hotel is right across the street. The reason I'm mentioning this is because Hotels.com map shows this hotel west of G111. That's wrong! Hotel is east from G111, on Jingshun St.
decent hotel
Beds were comfortable; location is difficult to find but we found it; not much in terms of restaurants around the hotel; room was warm (typical for any hotel in Beijing as they don't like guests to control the room temp); service was great (they called a taxi for us for an early flight). Overall, may stay there again now that I know where it's at. It's across from Beijing Di Tan Hospital.
No Complaints!
It was great! The staff was super helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the complimentary breakfast had a huge variety!
Good overnight place
If you are just flying in and out this is a great choice. Otherwise choose a different holiday inn in Beijing as this is far from everything and there is not much around it.
HIE Beijing
My customer experience was great at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and comfortable.

Friendly and attentive service! Clean property! Nothing to go around though. But perfect for a layover!
