My husband and I went for our anniversary to San Antonio. The staff was very kind and friendly. Maria helped us and gave advice where to visit during our stay. The lady who was in charge of breakfast was attentive to what we needed. We did like the breakfast but food was not hot.

Great Location Friendly Staff

The Staff was super friendly! We did not have time for breakfast so the made us grab and go breakfast bags. The location was near shopping and restaurants and just outside the congestion of the city, but only a 9 min drive. The room could use some TLC the sink had a crack, the wall baseboard by the restroom had what appeared to be rust. The chair cover was worn.

Had handicapped accessible room although didn't need it. Shower was difficult to use as spray part kept falling.

Tony at the desk was awesome. We had a slight problem with room AC not working ( stuff happens!) he immediately got us moved and was super congenial despite a few customers not being so. Nice area to walk dogs Will stay here again next time in town. WM and Sam’s club right next door.

Very nice place, clean

The sweet young lady with long hair was so helpful she checked us in very quickly and then brought us bed sheets for the pull out bed ! Big shout out to her sorry I didn’t get her name

I wasn't happy my 1st night. I put my bags in the room and a big roach came from the bed. And i do mean big. Had to ask for another room.

Floor was so dirty our feet turned black in the room, things were broken everywhere in the room and subpar breakfast. Our key cards stopped working twice and we couldn’t get into our rooms. Overall 5/10

Excellent customer service.

Staff was very friendly and professional, Hotel was loud and not easy to get a good nights sleep! The hallways were full of people at night. Hotel is just about time for a facelift. Would have been nice if the hotel enforced a quiet time at any point!

The fitness room lacked attention. the TV was not working, the paper towel holder was empty and the hand sanitizer dispenser was not working. Staff was alerted but the next day nothing was corrected

The hotel was a nice place to stay. it did need some extra cleaning. The carpets were stained. Also, the weekend we visited the hallways were hot due to AC issues. The elevator was not working and I am pre-op for knee replacement and was given a room on the third floor because no others were available. Also, the room we were given had a faulty AC. It would not shut off and constantly ran at 66 degrees even when we turned it off.

The showehead did not work, we had to take baths. The AC did not cool. The housekeepers were extremely rude.

This hotel, by far, had the best staff I've ever experienced. Everyone, from the moment we checked in till the moment we checked out was friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Other hotels need to train their staff based on how this hotel's staff operates. The only knock i have is that the pool, while clean, had cups and paper in it from the previous night and when the housekeeper was out there, she didn't skim those things out of the pool. I did it when we got in, because it wasn't a big deal, but it was just something i thought should have been done.

No ac on 3rd floor hallway for 10 days. Shower drain clogged 1st day. A/C in room went out on 2nd day. Carpet in room very dirty, same in hallways. Noise level was unacceptable at night. Asked for a discount for all the inconveniences and management didn't respond. Overall 2 star ⭐⭐ rating.

The AC is out on the 3rd floor hallway but the room has AC. The 3 staff members at the front desk were very accommodating and helpful offering me the luggage cart, making me feel safe, and friendly. The only one that was rude was the one that snipped at my elderly mom about them running out of a pastry. She was a Caucasian woman about 5'4 busy, a little heavy set. We brought it to management's attention.

If you ask me I wold pick the same hotel is I go back to San Antonio the service, the room, the staff I like everything about it they get 5 stars on everything from me and my family. Thank you so much.

The property was great BUT the breakfast was cold and variety. Also, I'm thinking they didn't have enough staff because my room was not cleaned one day. We didn't need much cleaning in our room, but needed the trash to be taken out. Overall it was good.

It was noisy and you can hear people going in and out of the rooms like you where in your house. The mattresses were very hardbto sleep on. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly but not for the amount of money I paid with expedia.

This property needs to be updated. The mattress was super uncomfortable. Everytime we sat on the bed you could hear the springs

The location was good, the overall appearance was very good, it was clean, the breakfast was good. Only down fall was they only have one elevator so it took a little bit, but I would definitely stay here again.

Someone is wrong but who?

Booked 2 queen beds with roll-in shower for my mother in law and did not get it. When I checked out and complained they said their 2 queen bedrooms do not come with a roll-in shower. My husband booked the same with mother back in July with no problems. Why now all of a sudden they do not have any. Was told Hotels.com had incorrect information. HELLO you put the information on your website so who's fault is it.....HOLIDAY INN that's who! I will be calling corporate.

Contradiction in statements

Arrival presented a relaxed atmosphere, calming after our long journey. Check in was efficient. However, we were not given the requested room with handicapped bathroom access for an elder person. Refund was requested for that cost and denied, saying the hotel did not have any rooms with such access. We stayed in that hotel in such a room in July 2023. False advertising? The accomodation not available? Selective patronage?

Good and fast customer service

Hotel very clean!!!

The location was right in the center of everything from dining to shopping stores. The hotel was also clean and the room spacious. My only complaint was how slow the elevator operator. It always took a while for the elevator to open and our room was on the top floor with no stairs in sight.

Shower head was broken, said the sofa would extend to accommodate two people and wasn’t the case.

Everything was great. From the personal to the cleanliness to the breakfast. Loved my stay.

Loved the large bathtub and the HOT water!

I loved that they accepted my dog and because he was a support pet, no extra fee was charged. The only downside was that the elevator wasn’t working the whole weekend and they weren’t able to do housekeeping. But overall it was a good stay.

The staff was so friendly .. the elevator was broken for one day.. they automatically took accountability and gave guests a nice discount for the inconvenience. Very rare these days.

The front desk worker was on the phone for about a half hour while I waited to check in. That was a really inconvenient wait. Other than that, everything was pretty good.
