Fabulous Stay!

We had a great 4 night stay! Our room was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The staff was amazing! Everyone we talked to was very friendly and polite. Great breakfast every morning as well.

Couch was full of stains, old. Carpets seemed filthy. TV was old. No apps on tv, only basic tv channels

Just needed a place to crash with our 4 friends before heading to our cruise - easy transpo from the airport covered and breakfast included. Simple, cheap, clean and within walking distance to anything you need to snag before a trip. Would stay again.

Old property.

The property needs better maintenance. For example, in my room the smoke detector was completely missing and the hole in the wall where the detector should be was covered with a bag, clearly something that was done by hotel staff to cover up the hole, but they didn't replace the smoke detector. That should have been a sign. Then while I was staying there in December, the heat and high fan both went out in the HVAC system to the room. I contacted the front desk, and they told me they would send maintenance to the room, when maintenance arrived he told me to keep running the heat for another 30 minutes (after I told him that I had been running it for a couple of hours) and see if it would get warm and if not to contact the front desk. I set a timer, and in 30 minutes the unit was still blowing cold air into the room, went down to the front desk only to be informed that maintenance had left for the day. The front desk offered to change rooms, so I packed up all my things, and took them back down to the front desk to get a key, only to find that the new room was heavily perfumed with cologne and had stains on the sink where perhaps cologne or lotion had not been cleaned up. I ended up going back to the front desk with all my luggage and asking for an extra blanket because being cold is not as bad as not being able to breathe. Generally the breakfast was good and with that exception staff were pleasant. They need to work on maintenance and cleaning.

Great location and service

We stayed here for an appointment at the VA. Perfect location, and area. Lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Room was spotless, and spacious. Service at the front desk was great. Breakfast tho, could’ve been better. The only condiments offered were peanutbutter and jelly. There wasn’t any cream cheese for the bagels, or butter for the biscuits. I would still recommend this Holiday Inn and we‘ll be returning shortly for another VA appointment.

Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast had good options. This was the first time I booked an accessible room as I was traveling with my mom. My only complaint is that the sliding door on the bathroom didn’t completely seal shut. There was opening in both ends. Even with the fan on in the bathroom, you could hear what is going on in there. In order not to hear what was going on in the bathroom, I had to turn down the AC so the fan could kick in. Everything else was great.

Other than confusion with the airport pickup. The front desk assisted with resolving. Super nice. Very pleasant. Great customer service (just needed to iron his shirt). Otherwise a keeper to your treat. Room was so nice, clean, remodeled and roomy.

Placed in a handicap accessible room (not requested} which contained a shower with no door. Difficult to shower and keep the floor dry.

Convenient to children hospital. Clean rooms excellent country breakfast easy access shopping and dining options nearby. Overall what most people are looking for in hotel.

I frequent this hotel numerous days per month on business. I have stayed in probably 20 different rooms there and they have all been very nicely maintained. No surprises! Breakfast is always good.

Overall great stay

Exceptionally clean, breakfast was well managed with plenty of different foods. The room was comfortable and had a nice layout.

No parking at all and the front lady told me to park in front of some apartments a little ways away. And few others guests had the same problem, no enough parking

Disappointing Stay in Lake Nona, Orlando, FL

I recently stayed at a hotel in Lake Nona off Narcoossee Road in Orlando, Florida. The location was convenient for my needs, and the shuttle service from the airport was a nice touch. Check-in was quick, and I was given a room on the third floor. However, the room had major issues. It was clean at first glance, but I soon discovered bedbugs or fleas under the covers and around the room. I got bitten multiple times. To make matters worse, the air conditioner didn't work. Florida is hot, and without AC, I barely got any sleep. I called the front desk, and they promised to send someone to fix the air conditioner. A maintenance guy came up, but the AC still didn't work after he "fixed" it. Eventually, I was moved to another room where the air conditioner worked, and thankfully, there were no bugs. On the positive side, the breakfast each day was really good, and the staff were kind and professional. However, they clearly have a pest problem, and I want to warn potential guests about this issue. Overall, while the staff was great and breakfast was good, the pest problem and malfunctioning AC made for a pretty miserable stay. If they can address these issues, it could be a decent place to stay, but for now, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Great Location

Very frustrating that the “free airport shuttle” was only until 945pm, but that wasn’t told on the website so we ended up needing to get an Uber which added to our expenses. It was nice, however, that we could leave our luggage for the day after checking out. Thank you.

A great shuttle driver to hotel. Found out shuttle doesnt run until 8 AM on Sundays so had to pay for u er to airport.

The location of the hotel was perfect for my needs, situated close to key attractions. There are numerous stores and shops in the vicinity, including a Walmart just a short walk away. This made it incredibly easy to pick up any essentials or do some quick shopping.

I originally chose to stay for two nights but somehow the reservation got changed. I ended up having to extend the stay and they charged me more than the booking with you. I would have never chosen that hotel if I knew that was the price for 1 night.

Enjoyed our stay

The breakfast crew was amazing, they went out of their way to please everybody. The irons were dirty and ruin one of my shirts while ironing it for a wedding. One day the carpets were not vacuumed and tissue paper was not replaced.

Overall stay and staff was good with the exception of maid service, beds and bathroom were not properly done on days when service was requested.

Shower floor was not cleaned, I slipped and fell in the shower. Staff was responsive and cleaned the shower.

The parking lot is not big enough, I had to park on the street at 2 AM, very uncomfortable

The proximity to the airport and the Lake Nona area.

I have been 3 or 4 times in the very same hotel in the last 2 years, but this time I feel very disappointed in it. One of the 2 elevators was damaged all weekend (I assume they haven't fixed it yet); There is not enough parking spaces (I arrived this morning around 2 am and had to park on the street, about 1,000 feet from the hotel); the air conditioning in the room made a terrible noise when the unit turns on. Overall very disappointed, as I said, I don’t think I will visit them again.

This hotel does a good job of welcoming you, and there are many affordable dining options in walking distance.

Cleanest Holiday Inn EVER

My husband and I stay at Holiday Inn’s all the time when we travel. This one has been by far the cleanest, friendliest, and most bang for its buck. The continental breakfast is absolutely amazing. We will continue to stay here when we come down to visit family.
