Bad from when we walked in. Elevator was broken, every ice machine on every floor not working, our toilet broke 5 times and stains on carpets. The only good thing was the breakfast and the staff that ran it.

WRONG ROOM

I was very dissapointed. I spent over an hour looking for a hotel and comparing hotels for what I needed within my budget. I finally found it and booked it here. Only to find that the SUITE I reserved turned into a small 2 bed room. I had planned a special event for my stepdaughters and needed the Suite with the sofas to also accommodate the space. I called the Front desk as soon as I walked in only for the receptionist to tell me there was nothing they can do. I did'nt understand if I reserved a SUITE why am I getting a regular room???? All he could say was there is nothing he can do and besides there were other guest complaining of getting wrong rooms. Manager was not in sight and he said he would leave notice to the manager in the morning. Manager never called. I waited to see if he or she would step it up and nothing. We are going back in 6 weeks and definately not staying with them. Apparently they like to give you any room of THEIR CHOICE!!! NOT YOURS

Not clean enough

It's pretty quiet, but still convenient.

Everything was great! Except that the pool and hot tub was closed. It was one of the reason I chose the hotel and the find out it was close was very heart breaking but other then that it was great!

IHG hotel No like Non functioning elevator and non working room key

The person at check in gave me zero info about the surroundings, breakfast, checkout. The AC unit was so noisy, it sounded like a jackhammer breaking ground all night. The bathroom smelled like urine. No ice in ice machine. Went to ask a question at the desk and no one ever came by so couldn’t even change rooms. I was there with 2 kids. Would NOT ever recommend

Excellent service, very clean. Breakfast was awesome.

Hotel was very close to my destination which was great. Hotep could use a safe in rooms for belongings and breakfast could have a little more variety. Found a few hairs under comforter in bed. Other than that it was a good stay.

The room I reserved wasn’t what I got. They still charged me for the same amount as the suite. They had to bring a bed that was too big for us to get to the restroom and out the door. They didn’t check to see if we needed room service. Talked to the manager that morning about my reservation and she didn’t tell me that’s they didn’t have my suite available anymore.

Amazing stay. Room was very clean. Staff was very nice. Definitely recommend.

Bait and switch

Purchased a double queen suite. They didn’t have the room we paid for and never compensated for over charging and under delivering. The manager was out sick and couldn’t help. Haven’t heard back yet. Back for another tournament. Not staying here.

Disappointed

This is by far the worse Holiday Inn I’ve stayed at. Check in seemed like a bother to the clerk and every time we passed the counter there was never anyone there. The room had a musky smell. The beds were at least clean and comfortable but we couldn’t even get them to bring extra blankets to our room. The service was terrible and the employees didn’t seem like they really wanted to be bothered with requests.

Good value for room and facilities. Nice pool and the 1200 checkout is a plus. Breakfast was good, although would have preferred a waffle maker instead of the pancake maker since it seemed to not be working every time we tried to use it.

No offense to the establishment, but I was expecting a 4/10 hotel. I was wrong, everything was smoothly to check in to check out. No confusion to getting billed to the room when my kids purchased snacks. I recommended this hotel for family stays.

Disgusting and Poor Staff

Worst Holiday Inn Express I have stayed at. We had a couple of problems there: 1. We found a bedbug in one of our booked rooms, and when we told the person at the front desk, he just said ok. My wife had to tell him to tell the manager and he just asked for our phone number and told us the manager will call us back (we haven’t received any call). Such a disgusting experience to have in a Holiday Inn Express, we are never going back to these hotels. 2. On the day of the checkout (which is at 12pm) the housekeeper tried to get into our room two times at 8am while we were sleeping (we had hung the do not disturb thing in our door and locked it) and a couple of minutes later she knocked on the door and asked that if we were going to checkout. Such an unprofessional staff. 3. Another one of our booked rooms was in front of the Boiler Room and told the front desk person that our room smelled of a lot of gas, she just said that it is normal, and she can’t do anything. I don’t know if that’s normal but I’m pretty sure it is not, that is such a dangerous thing.

This hotel is usally nice, this is about my third or fourth stay, at check in the lady was not too friendly, we stayed on the third floor and the room had a really weird smell , even after i sprayed deodorant the smell was still there. The wifi was terrible.

For the breakfast it was limited

Facility was old and dark. Bathroom smelled sewer. Toilet paper was very hard - harder than public restrooms toilet paper. Breakfast food was running low. Pancake batter was running out.

The room was large and clean. The bed was very comfortable! The air conditioning kept the room cool even with 95 degree weather outside.

It was clean and full but still quiet. Front desk was very helpful. I was able to enjoy my stay in peace.

Clean and comfy, but...

This is the 3rd time we have had reservations here. The first time was amazing. The second time we arrived with our family of 6 to find they did not have our suite available. They tried to give us a regular room at the same price, meaning 2 kids would sleep on the floor. They did not bother to call us ahead of time, leaving us stranded on Easter weekend without a room to fit our family. We decided to give them another chance due to our good experience the first time. This time we arrived and had the same issue with them not having our suite available. However, they offered us 2 rooms at the same price as the suite, so we had enough space, and it was a better experience. I have mixed feelings about this hotel. I feel they should notify people ahead of time. We got lucky that they weren't busy this stay or we probably would have been stuck without a room again. Both times I have reserved a minimum of 2 weeks ahead. I would stay at this hotel if you dont have a large family or have to drive far. When you have a long drive and little kids, it is beyond stressful to deal with this. The hotel is clean and comfortable, but I am not certain if we will stay again. Such a shame because it's conveniently located to a place we go monthly. Just be cautious if you book a suite.

I've stayed at many hotels and this one takes the cake. So a random person gained access to my room. The front desk concierge gave a man a key to my room whom i did not know.

Landscaping on front of the property will make it more appealing.

The hotel overall was pretty nice. It was clean and very quiet. The breakfast was not the best and the phone in the room did not work. But overall it was nice and I would stay again.

Best place to stay good food

I’m a traveler and stayed here over the weekend when I came with a friend. Check in was easy, the room was almost completely cleaned with the exception of some wall spots that were definitely overlooked for cleanliness….I smelled weed soon as I got off the elevators but the smell left when those guest checked out the next morning. Breakfast was delicious both mornings..so it’s worth going down from 6:30-9:30 AM to eat. Options were: sausage, bacon, biscuits & gravy, pancakes, yogurt, cereal, bagels & muffins … etc… The pool area was clean and functioning and a nice amenity. More pool towels need to be added because with two families the towels were gone. It is very close to the highway but I didn’t hear the highway noise. This hotel is off beltway 8 & 15 minutes from IAH.

Great stay !!!

This property is pretty new and is well maintained. It is a very safe location and if you need accommodations on the NW side I highly recommend it.

The staff and complimentary breakfast was great. The building and facility was dated and is in need of an overhaul. The mattresses were very firm. I like the fact the hotel offered washer and dryer on site for convenience.

Ice machine on my floor didnt work and they havent returned my security deposit of 25 dollars

Hotel was clean and safe and front desk was pleasant. Our room was very clean and ac was cold. Breakfast was plentiful. Would stay here again if in the area.

There was a communication breakdown between Hotel.com and the Inn. In consequence, the hotel delayed my check-in process. Both parties never took the customer's expectations and convenience into consideration. I had paid the full price before the trip. This is absolutely an unpleasant event.

Great Stay

The stay was wonderful. The only complaint I have is that the extra stopper on the door was broken. Other than that, it was great. Very quiet. Very clean.

Liked how it was located to a few shops && eating. Also the breakfast options were good. The pool unfortunately wasn’t working for 1 of the nights but they fixed it the next morning. The rooms were very clean. Enjoyed && would stay again.

Had some issues, but it was still ok

Nice hotel overall. The older gentleman was trying to charge me extra due to room switch (not my fault). Advised I'm not paying extra, he had to call off duty management to come assist. Breakfast was a win! Then there was a dead mouse in pool. Even with the issues, the room was nice and clean and i world stay again

Keys didn't work have the time

We did not like that the breakfast area was small and crowded. The area to get food was split on either side of the room so you had to walk through the people eating to get to the food. The attendant kept the food stocked and was helpful and the overall area was clean.

The beds were very comfortable and the accessible bathroom was spacious. The staff at the front desk was friendly and accomodating. The only thing we didn't like was the sofa bed. There is no way anyone can sleep on it, you can feel every spring! I had to put 4 pillows to lay down on them. There was no extra bedding even though we were six.

Property looked nice and clean inside. Morning breakfast was ok. Stayed 5 days and got maid service once during that time. Had to continually ask for towels because no service was given. Had to empty our own trash, beds were never made or refreshed. Bed was super high off the ground so we had a hard time getting in the bed nightly. Rooms had no dresser and a very small open closet. No place to put an open suitcase. Pool is not heated. Great if you don’t want service and don’t want to be bothered. But if you expect service don’t stay here.

We found BED BUGS in our bed!! When we arrived we also found out that the hot tub has been broken for over a year and we were not notified when we booked our room.

Staff was not helpful. Did not have a room for us.

We had to change rooms. The bed was made up, but sheets had hair and food crumbs in it. Toilet was nasty. And sink was stopped up. Lights did not work in the bathroom.
