Not great for pedestrians

The property was nicely decorated for the holidays, loved that, and the staff was very friendly. Nice to have a breakfast restaurant inside.

the staff on friday night when i requested for a firm pillow as their pillows were killing my neck, the staff spoke very sarcastically n stated they never heard anyone complaning about the pillow as all of their customer loved it, and when requested again she said she will sent sum blankets but she never did, i was embarrased n insulted , i will step in holidayinn ever again.

Old facilities but convenient location

Wen i booked i could see there was breakfast included but niw wen i checked it seems the brarkfast is excluded so am disappinted as 125 ar is way more for just one night as i could have gt sum better offer. Also staff initqlly was hesitant to let me know it was quire embarrasing wen the front desk told me that breakfast is not included ..i may have missed bt i was sure wen i booked n i reqd amenities breakfast was included ..anyways room is noisy as have gt the room whivh is next to road side so its noisy. Hoping my next stay will be with plesant .

Quiet and clean. Gym very basic. Liked the underground parking and Monsoon restaurant was delicious

Wouldn’t stay again. Staff was unhelpful and rude. Rooms are very small especially for 2 queen beds. Heater was less than an inch from one bed and blew cold air all night. Beds were old and uncomfortable.

I arrived at 5:00 AM for check-in and waited 20 minutes for the receptionist, who had posted a sign indicating a 5-minute return. I called the lobby during this wait; she emerged from a room, seemingly awakened by the call, and requested a $50 deposit. Although I had cash and a debit visa but she said only a credit cards were accepted, and she refused to refund my $600 prepayment. This place is a trash zero customer service, i will never come back to the place again and i will never recommend to anyone

Staff was excellent. In house Rickys nailed it. Only concern was trains constant 100' from window.

The property has started showing its age. Upkeep is needed to maintain the basic standards. Cleanliness is not up to the mark.

Overall it was an okay stay staff were friendly and housekeepers did a great job everyday. The security and cleanliness was an issue though in the lobby as it seems like they were letting homeless people sleep there.

Checkin slow with only one person during peak time. Elevator broken. Long wait for only one working.

We did not get the king bed we paid for. Originally 1 queen. We were moved to another room with 2 queen beds. One bed was just inches from the heater blowing hot air directly in my face.

Clean and quiet. I love the added touch of a face wipe and lavender spray.

Elevator was a little sketchy. It had a lot of extra bounces and jiggles when stopping

The room was clean but I slept poorly. The hotel is located near a railway track and a depot where trucks with large trailers load and unload. Clearly the noise is not the hotel's fault, but it should not have ever been built at this location. Internet worked very well compared to other hotels where I have stayed. Due to the noise I would not stay here again.

Not happy

Trains passed by a few times disrupting sleep.

Staff was nice and the room was clean. My room was near the elevator so it was noisy. Also the matress was very soft (for those woth back pain it can be challenging). Order food to eat in my room, cultery was plastic.

I got back to the hotel and was looking to buy water, they would not sell me any for over an hour. Due to audit he said. Could not get any at all.

The furniture in the room was old, worn and stained and was not something I would feel comfortable sitting on.

Wifi didn't work, USB port wasn't powered, Property backs on to a train rail line. 3 trains went by after midnight and vibrated the room. I am sure the whole building would have experienced it and not just my room

Quick check in and check out. Staff friendly. Bed was very comfortable. There are train tracks right behind the hotel but it didn’t bother us.

The keys for the room kept getting de-magnetized and I’d have to go to the front desk to reactivate every time I wanted to get in my room. One of the two elevators wasn’t working so it was a long wait to go up and down twice every time you wanted to get in your room. Majorly inconvenient.

It is a good, clean place to stay.

No breakfast was included in our packages never heard that i stay many hotel.

Bed was supposed to be a king. Only got a queen. Also price gouging due to concert in City greedy Corporation

Everyone on the staff, from the front desk through to the cleaning staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Very comfortable bed, good sized room! As a bonus, the restaurant Ricky’s, was quite good - excellent staff, food came out fast, fresh and hot. A good value all around.

It was very convenient to park your vehicle and enter the hotel elevators were reasonably quick overall it is very good

The staff advised me upon arrival they were switching check in times from what was stated on my reservation to 1 hour later, which did not work for my schedule. They were able to secure me a room after the check in time and before the new check in time.

I was happy with the hotel staff and service, the location was convenient, the resteraunts were great! I found the room to be too noisy between the noise of the elevator, train, and people. The bed also smelled of urine.

Easy access to highway in and out of Edmonton.

Could have been cleaner

Very BAD experience at Ricky’s Breakfast restaurant. We got in and seated but unfortunately was not served our breakfast as expected. Not until I complained that one couple with one kid got in after us & was on our right side was served first then they finished their food and another lady got in and was seated on our left side was served ahead of us again and finished her food. Think about how long we were sitting there before we were being served. This is tantamount to negligence and discrimination. Too bad!

The pool is super loud when kids get to screaming. It’s a smaller rectangular pool. As with most hotels in Edmonton the one ways can make it tricky to get to. The hotel rooms are nice and quiet with lots of pillow options and comfy beds.

The service was very good and staff were very helpful and courteous

More than an injured knee…..

When l had made my reservation l was able to walk but then l had a fall and broke my kneecap as well as a rib! But it was important to me to make this trip with my family! When l called and asked for a handicap room, walk in shower, etc. they told me no problem. So when l checked in l was very disappointed that l got a room with a tub that there was no way l could have gotten into. Then the beds were so high that even if l wasn’t injured l would not have been able to get up on. I am 5 feet high and didn’t know l had to ask how high the beds were. Lucky l found a pull out couch in my son’s room that l could get into. So l paid over $500. to get a sore back. Not impressed,

Rick at the front desk was fantastic. The team went the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed every our stay. The housekeepers were also very friendly and kind.

By far the worst night in a hotel ever. There was a large group of kids staying on the same floor as us in multiple rooms ranging from toddlers to teens. They were running around shouting, knocking on doors, slamming doors till 5:00 am with what seemed no adult supervision. At 4:30 am they started calling our room. At 1:30 am I called the front desk and was told security was on it and had been dealing with it. It did nothing to stop them. I asked for my money back and was told there was nothing that could be done as I booked on Expedia. I will never recommend this hotel.

Fantastic holiday

The stay with this hotel was average for my experience. I did a last minute booking with the hotel and find that the price was a little expensive for the amenities provided. Great pool and rooms, however, having to pay additional $30 for breakfast when it isn’t a buffet and a limited order only is unpleasant. It should have been included if that is the case. Overall the stay was okay but nothing too special.

I did not like that they let door dash and pizza delivery people wander the floors delivering food and that they were allowed to slip flyers in our doors. We also had to get our key cards exchanged 4 times because they would not work properly.

Seen better days

The king room was nicely laid out and had a fridge and MW, a desk, as well as a small table with 2 chairs - nice touch. The bathroom was clean, the bedding was clean, the bed was comfortable with a selection of pillows of varying firmness. The fridge door was covered with finger- and hand prints, the hallway mirror was not clean, and the chair in the room was stained and had seen better days. Those concerns were dealt with quickly after I brought them up to staff, all of whom were helpful and professional. I am not normally a fan of Ricky's restaurants but the one attached to the hotel deserves 5 stars for service and food. Train tracks run right next to the hotel, although there were only a few trains that went by during my 2 day stay.

Hotel is decent, staff were friendly and helpful, ac worked great. Train line runs on the east side of the building which woke me up a couple times. Its a touch dated but nothing to really complain about.
