Hotel is better than average. This is a relatively new hotel. but my room and hallway at the 10th floor smells like a musty, old carpet reminiscent of a 3star or lesser hotel which is why I removed a star. Bathroom / shower is ok, I wish it's better (i.e. bigger space). However, for the rate, this hotel cant be beat: convenience, food/buffet offering, and the staff (Hermie and her team at the Buffet area) are all amazing. I will add more details later on, but for now, am happy and willing to come back here again

Great staff conveniently located next to mall

Hotel is kinda dated and traffic for grab is slow as anywhere in Manila. Room is old and nothing worth mentioning. Connected to multiple shopping malls around the area so dining or shopping is easy.

Great staff! Best blackout/dark room mode ever from our 25+ hotels we booked this year. My wife is a light sleeper. Perfect for 3 person booking. Extra single bed was provided from the king bed in the room.

Convenient location

Convenient location next to mall. Hotel staffs are friendly. breakfast selection is ok. Room is rather dark for me. maybe old fixtures lights. They are renovating so might improve.

It’s ok

I think the hotel needs some good renovations (they were happening some already) but my AC did so much noise, it was like a truck running every night 😥 I could hear it leaking. Also their breakfast is not so good, I’ve been to other co-workers hotels for breakfast and Holiday needs a massive revamp.. it’s been the same for too many years. Apart from that I love the convenience ti the mall.

Great staffs and very good location, ver safe and pleasant area

From housekeeping (Roland, Jinky, Shem) who maintained our room immaculately, to Flavors staff (Gen,Wana,Namie,Joanna,Jolina,Jocelyn,Kayla,Demi,Vincent,James,Aldrin,Restfer,Edward,Vince, et al) and Kitchen (Chef Freddie, Chef Grace) who made every meal delicious and enjoyable, to security (Uly, front door crew, and especially the guard dogs Buster and Coco) who were welcoming and kept us secure, the staff at HISM are all superb! The location is very convenient for shopping and as a base to explore Makati/BGC/Manila. The renovations will only improve our future stays!

Great service but infrastructure needs makeover

Not quite the standard of Holiday Inn infrastructure that I have come to expect. Hotel needs a serious update. I dont know why people have such affinity for carpets in a place with such high humidity. it always leaves this damp smell hanging around all the time.

Prime Location!!! Few steps, 15 steps to be exact for an average person like me and your in Glorietta 2! Staff were amazing, smoking area had an awesome view! Will definitely stay here again.

The staff from Front Desk, Housekeeping, Concierge, food attendants are consistently friendly, very courteous and helpful. Food was great too! Of all the hotels I’ve been to, Holiday Inn Makati is top-tier!

Quick getaway

We had a pleasant experience at the hotel.

This hotel offers firm, but comfortable beds. 2 choices of pillows. A very hot shower. So hot, there is a warning label! :) The onsite swimming pool is a decent size. I did not stay long enough to enjoy other onsite amenities. If you have the option to pay extra for Breakfast and Dinner, TAKE IT! Both buffets did not disappoint! They were DELICIOUS! the staff is super friendly and hospitable! I will definitely be back! The stay could not have been more perfect.

It's a lovely hotel but what stands out to me is the customer service. My wife and I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn and Suites, and our experience was outstanding. My first stay at the HolidayInn and I like the location. It is literally connected the Mall.

I love the breakfast and dinner buffet options. If you sign up for IHG membership which is free, you get 40% off the food. The roof top bar and pool are nice. The mall is right next door so if it is raining you can get there without getting wet. Tons of food options.

Excellent service from all the staff, very accommodating. Rooms are clean quiet and comfortable. Great location, accessible to malls and other establishments.

The property is right at the heart of Makati's commercial hub. A variety of restaurants and retails shops are just walking distance from the hotel so you avoid the hassle of Manila's frustrating traffic snarls. Filipino hospitality is very much demonstrated by the hotel staff and definitely adds to the appeal of the hotel. Overall, the hotel is a great place to stay while in Makati.

A great location!

Extremely hospitable staff with good location as well. It is beside a huge shopping mall with plenty of shops and things to do as well. Only issue is when we tried to contact the concierge regarding some local tours, they kept on telling us to check with the tour agency next door which is inside the mall. I dont think thats what a concierge is for, to be always directing tourist elsewhere.

A pleasant experience overall not withstanding the closed pool area due to moderate rains and the confusion during breakfast when my husband was interrogated by the staff before being allowed to enter the restaurant.

The staff was exceptional and did their best to go out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Of particular note was the person assigned to clean our room. She was attentive, and sought to address and proactively address our needs.

There are great dining options, but the primary reason I will return to the Holiday Inn Makati is Mr. Arcangeles. He personally handled challenges and effectively delegated solutions his fine team led by Mr. Steve in the Lounge.

Close to shopping centers and restaurants

My favorite hotel in the area. Main reason is because it has a smoking destination area with a beautiful view.

The room was clean, modern, spacious, and overall a very nice room to stay in. The hotel is attached to Glorietta Mall which is very convenient. I would stay here again and I highly recommend it.

I stayed in Holiday Inn and Suites Hotel for 4 nights.The hotel is connected to Glorietta 3 and near to other malls which is convenient for shopping. Has lots of restaurants around, so you will not starve. Breakfast is good as well. But during our stayed, I was bitten by mosquitoes for 2nights. Pest control came twice to our room. So happy I had a good sleep on my 3rd night. Supervisor was so apologetic . I hope next time, they should check the rooms first before assigning to their guests.

Staff was very accommodating

Staff at breakfast don't know what they are doing. Coffee never arrives. Rather chaotic overall. This hotel is classed as 5 stars. I don't know how. It is only a 3 star hotel in my opinion. Also, they changed the bedsheets every day. Other hotels have a card you can put on the bed to request not to change sheets. They should do that because changing sheets every day is bad for the environment.

Great location. Friendly staff. Fast staff response when you request something. In my room, the toilet exhaust wasn't working. One time lights went out my room. Turned out to be a faulty fuse. Apart from that everything was first class.

The staff is excellent and they take of your request. Nice pool. Good breakfast.

Front Office Manager Loi Ruppert Arcangeles was very informative, responsive and helpful. I will stay there again because of his service.

Excellent Staff

Always an awesome experience stay at Holiday Inn and Suites Makati. The staff here are truly amazing. Melchor and Buster greeting everyone at the front entrance and Kath serving up drinks at Citron with a big smile. Everyone at this hotel is super friendly.

Best breakfast buffet with taho champorado pork tocino garlic rice and a lot more! So conveniently located! The lobby floor had lots of restaurants japanese and korean. Housekeeping is very prompt. And servers in the breakfast buffet were all amazing! I would stay here again when i come back to philippines

There was a lipstick kiss on the glass by the bar. The bathroom stinks of urine like smell. Dark colored cabinets make the room seem old and dark.

Awesome Hotel staff

This is the second time I stayed at this hotel. Just like the first stay, it was amazing. The staff at this hotel makes you feel like a VIP. Efren from housekeeping always took care of us. Kath from Citron was super sweet and friendly. Ulyses was always there when you need him. Melchor and Buster was always ready to cheer up the guests and passersby. The whole staff was amazing. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else next time I visit the Philippines. Thank you so much for treating me like a VIP.

Good food, good staff and friendly. Central location and very convenient to access shopping centre. Would be nicer if the gym is bigger and gym equipment better. Overall a good place to stay.

Located in the heart of Makati’s shopping area. It’s connected to Glorietta Mall. Well maintained with lots of security. Nice buffet breakfast that’s continuously replenished. Spacious rooms that seemed to magically clean itself whenever we stepped out. Rose and Re-al were extremely efficient. Always keeping things tidy without being intrusive. They also went way beyond the call of duty when we mistakenly threw away a receipt we needed and they searched the trash and found it for us.

Enjoyed the stay

The hotel staff are friendly and efficient. Location is next to all major shopping. Very clean and safe. One minor mishap, when we went to Flavors at 6am, no one came to our table and said hello and ask if we want coffee, juice, etc, which was the norm (I come here very often). There’s plenty of staff around but we’re all focused on being busy that they missed welcoming and assisting arriving guests, haha. I understand, it happens. The waiter next to our table spent all his time chatting with the other 2 guests next to us, completely ignoring us. No, I don't want anyone’s attention, I just need my coffee first thing when I sit for breakfast. Most of the time, that’s all I have, a good coffee to start the day. ❤️

Very good hotel. Superb breakfast, very spacious rooms and superb friendly and helpful staff in all parts of the hotel. Location is great with shopping malls and restaurants on the doorstep. Area around the hotel is very modern and safe, being in Makati business district. Thoroughly recommended
