Nice hotel , charged extra for upgrade although was our anniversary Weather was hot so pool was way too warm to use Staff were very helpful Walk to beach bars and restaurants across street Def stay again
Thank you so much for a lovely stay, so relaxing and only a short drive to old town.
Definitely recommend, staff are friendly and helpful. Beautiful report
The food was a bit disappointing, nice selection but some lacked flavour. The room had a Smart TV but no Apps such as Netflix or Internet Explorer. Minor points but would make a difference, especially on a rainy day. Staff were fantastic and so genuinelyfriendly!
Lovely resort - beautiful grounds and pool area - resort had loungers on the beach across the road. Surrounding area a bit rough 100vnd taxi to old town - so not a big deal
Amazing stay. Karaoke across the road is excessively loud… and horrible
Great location on the beach and short drive to Old Town. We have stayed multiple times but far too noisey these days from surrounding hotels. Sadly not a peaceful stay I was looking for
Excellent value for the money. The premises are impeccable and the service personnel are very attentive and kind.
Great resort, the pools are a great way to spend your day and relax. The rooms are fine and suited our needs perfectly.
Fabulous staff, large clean rooms and linens with great view of river! AC worked beautifully in room. Down side the pool water was too warm for swimming ( need some shade over pools maybe) however the private beach was right across the street and ocean was perfect for swimming.
This is an excellent facility with beautifully crafted gardens and overall landscape. Hotel personnel was very attentive and kind. Incredible value for the money.
Staff are fantastic. We stayed in a Superior room which was dated and in desperate need of an upgrade, but the rest of the facilities were in good condition. The room condition was the only negative, however it was clean and tidy, large, and housekeeping were great. Two pools, great restaurant. Beach on one side, river on the other. A number of restaurants and shops around the immediate area, but they have a free shuttle into the Ancient Town if you want something more lively. Perfect location for relaxing and as a sightseeing base, 4 mins drive from the hustle and bustle of the old town. Would definitely stay again.
The staffs are fluently English, helpful, the food is clean and great! We will be back next time!
My stay at the Hoi An Beach Resort was absolutely fantastic and relaxing. The swimming pool was beautiful not to mention the spectacular beach just across the room. The free transport to & from Old Town is a bonus... Definitely recommend if you are wanting a relaxing stay.
Third time staying at the Hoi An Beach Resort. Great staff and relaxing environment. Will keep coming back when I visit Hoi An.
good
Friendly staff
Very quiet, and staff were lovely. Very friendly, and helpful. Two pool options, and the air conditioning was fantastic.
This hotel is in a very quiet tranquil setting. The gardens are superb The staff were all lovely and bent over backwards to help. The breakfast was ok but not fabulous. The only real complaint is that the shower and bath tiles and screens needed some attention as mouldy and smelly.
A wonderful relaxing resort
Great place for a holiday, away from Australia. Flanked by the river and the ocean, the resort is great for both views and activities. The food is excellent, and the staff VERY helpful, and always courteous. When you want a little more "activity" the beautiful town of Hoi An is just a short 4km ride away. It sports many bars, markets and restaurants. My wife and I enjoyed our week here very much. Thanks to all for a very relaxing and pleasant stay. We will recommend this resort to our friends.
Good hotel spoilt by incessant rain causing dampness inside rooms. Air conditioning not working
We really enjoyed our stay here for four nights. The only downside was the toilet kept blocking for some reason. However, staff would always fix fairly quickly when advised.
Loved our time at the resort. Very friendly and relaxing. Food was amazing.
Very friendly and helpful staff will all our family of 4s needs
The staff were lovely, very helpful. Rooms were good. Choice of 2 pools and the private beach just over the road. Lots of local restaurants nearby.
The resort is a nicely situated and has well appointed facilities. The restuarant is clean and offers nice views over the river. The 2 pools are of reasonable size and the area surrounding them are clean. The gardens are well kept and overall the resort presents well. However it is showing its age. Opened in 2003, the rooms (particularly ours) badly needed an upgrade or refresh. I guess it disappointed in this regard, but overall we enjoyed our stay and would go there again
The beach is located across the street from the hotel property. The two pools were nice for the kids but it is not shaded so lots of sunscreen. The breakfast buffet was nice but dinner didn't have many options. However, they are just 10 minutes car ride to downtown where there are lots of restaurants and shops.
Relaxing beachside location. Attentive wonderful staff. Can be very noisy due to large work/convention bookings. Upgrade to a Riverview room so you get a quieter location.
That it's run down. Friendly staff.
Property was clean and friendly staff, rooms a little outdated but still nice enough , beach across the road was nice but was not what was advertised as beach front. Pools good except the main pool was closed for functions occasionally. Taxi cabs readily available when needed, I did not like - they dye their pool towels which after wearing a brand new $200 swimsuit the dye completely ruined it 😡
Beautiful location sandwiched between the river and a lovely beach. Very nice room overlooking the river. Enjoyed the private beach and two great pools.
The sandy beach was opposite the property. The setting was very nice. The hotel had a shuttle bus into town. Staff members were helpful at the front desk especially Ha. Some of the rooms are dated with old tiles in the bathroom. We did request to change rooms which the hotel accommodated. We were then given a sea view room which was better.
Loved my stay at Hoi An Beach Resort. The staff were so friendly, the location was beautiful. Highly recommend!
This is a great place to enjoy the pools and beach. Breakfast buffet had something for everyone. 15 min drive to Hoi An-Old Town/Night Market or $4-$5 USD taxi ride. We downloaded Grab and saved a little money. I would gladly stay here again.
Gorgeous spot. Staff were very friendly. A great couple day getaway .
Lovely resort in a great location. The river one side and beach the other.Staff were excellent and added bonus of free bicycles and free shuttle bus into Hoi An town.Only downfalls were that some fixtures and fitting need replacing. Our safe did not lock and we had issues with the door lock too.Enjoyed our stay though
The property has seen better days - but is bouncing back post COVID. Every day you could see more people working on the gardens and facades. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. Wi Fi is dreadful.
Great location Hotel set on riverside with private beach across the road Fantastic large infinity swimming pool located just at river’s edge Excellent buffet breakfast offering both Vietnamese and Western food Friendly helpful staff great welcome also organise free transport to and from old town Wonderful place to stay
The staff were all great, so helpful and friendly. A couple of areas are still closed after Covid lockdowns but will reopen once business picks up again. My balcony opened onto the river and rooms opposite had gardens. Make sure to catch at least one sunrise from the beach directly across the road - it's well worth it. The Old Town is about a 10min taxi ride (about 100000vdn) and there's lots of shops, restaurants/cafes and street food 200m up the road. I will stay here again for sure when I return to Hoi An.
Spa and sauna not working, rooms 100 year old,the pool is dirty, second day did have buffet breakfast, overall the hotel was run down.
Short of staff due to Covid, service is not good at the reception desk. I don’t feel welcome at all. The room is not clean to be claim resort. The only good thing about this place is the location. Would not come back. It is Covid I understand but if you are open it should be properly open.
Smiley, friendly staff. Grounds clean and beautifully kept. Good local shops and restaurants in easy walking distance.
The service is the best we have received since being in Vietnam. It was so quiet, private and so clean. The food was lovely As we sat in open air dinning right next to the river watching the locals fish. The rooms are probably one of the nicest we have stayed in in all of our travels around the world . We arrived late around 10:30pm and the smell of jasmine and gardenias was thick in the air. We rode bikes into town (about 2 miles away) and had shoes , dresses, suit pants and shirts made- amazing! The market was great, the walk along the river at night with lit laterns were beautiful and the street food and restaurants were good. The town of HoiAn has been our favorite!!
Hoi An Beach Resort is phenomenal! We arrived at 8am after a long overnight train ride and the staff let us check in to our room early at 10am. They were life savers for us weary travellers! The included breakfast buffet is top notch. The mini bar is stocked with sodas, beers, red and white wine and snacks all for reasonable prices. The restaurants and room service are open until 11pm and offer delicious local and western food. The location is across the street from a beautiful beach and within a short taxi ride (5 USD) to the bustling ancient town. MyLy restaurant across the street also has insanely good food for cheap too.
This is a beautiful resort that is perfectly situated just outside busy Hoi An on the river. The staff
Paradise
Amazing place. So clean. Service excellent. Location lovely. Price was great. Highly recommend it.
Great place for a holiday retreat that is close to the city centre
A lovely stay. The property itself could do with some small amounts of TLC. But this didn’t stop us having a great time. The staff are fantastic.
This was an exceptional place to stay. The staff were outstanding, the property was beautiful. The evening meal was complete with a nightly lantern show and accompanying musicians. Both fantastic singers. We also attended a cooking class with Le, what a fantastic experience. Le was knowledgeable, patient and helpful. Overall a fantastic experience.
The hotel was welcoming and also made good vegetarian breakfast on request
Special birthday cake attention (cake) Very nice staff.
Wonderful Stay
The staff were very quick to help us in every way. Special thanks to Hien and Thuy who went out of their way to make sure that our comfort was paramount. They gave us ideas of where to explore, arranged taxis, upgraded our room and gently guided us . A big thank you to all in the Hoi An Palace, a big recommendation as the place to stay.
Very clean n staff are friendly. I’m happy to stay another time.
This is a great base for both Hoi An and An Bang beach area.
Rooms were large and relatively comfortable. Food was ok, but not great. Service at breakfast and around pool area was not typical of a resort holiday. Lots of staff but no one actively offering to help or take your order. Shuttle into old town was infrequent at the time we stayed.
Loved the position opposite the beach and on the river. There was often a sea breeze to take the edge off the sometimes oppressive heat. Shuttle to town good with return taxi cheap enough if return time of bus does not suit. Friends travelling with us had urgent need to return home early and staff, (especially Mai) went of of the way to help to make arrangements. They were very, very helpful.
The property was great value for money. There is an old school charm to the rooms but it’s starting to show it’s age. Definitely get the river view rooms. If going to the beach is important to you then beware that the beach is receding and full of sandbags. It’s closed on a lot of the days. It is absolutely not ideal for beach going. The hotel does have 2 great pools. Easy access to local restaurants & shuttle bus into town available to guests.
Lovely setting looking out over the river though the plastic debris in there was disappointing but that is not the Resorts fault. The staff are fantastic and very welcoming and always have a smile for you. The room was clean and bed linen was changed daily. The bathroom is a bit dated showing the age of the building but was acceptable. The pools aren't large however there are two of them and we had no problem getting pool loungers. There is also the beach over the road and the Resort has a private area for guests with loungers and a bar. The beach is currently undergoing repair after a storm and is taking longer than expected, however, this work is being undertaken by the government and the Resort has no control over this. Breakfast was very good with a large selection of western and asian foods. The Cua Dai village is right outside the back gate and has a number of restaurants with a great selection of food and drinks at good prices. The Resort free shuttle bus into Hoi An city is a bonus. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay at Hoi An Beach Resort and would certainly go back again.
Good location and space. Do not feel too many people. Has shuttle bus that takes you to hoi an center. Beach is a bit sad but this is because was destroyed from Typhoon so now they are rebuilding the beach. Great spa!
Beautiful pools, yummy breakfast, comfy beds. Was expecting the rooms to be updated a little more, but regardless - it was a great place to stay!
Pool and restaurant were wonderful and the staff were all very helpful and friendly.
That the property backed onto a river and the beach was just over the road. Very pleasant gardens, flowering shrubs, well lit areas. Only negative is the lack of good English at the front desk.
Great location on the river, resorts restaurant overlooked this, wonderful spot to enjoy breakfast each day.Across the road from beach(although at this point in time government is still in the process of rectify damage from erosion), approx 4 kms to Old Town, shuttle provided 4 times daily.Fair selection of local restaurants close by along with money exchanges ,mini marts and laundry services.Staff friendly and attentive, rooms cleaned daily, fruit basket on arrival,2 bottles of water provided daily and free use of bicycles.Could provide more day beds and umbrellas around the free form pool(plenty of room to do so) at times unable to get a chair.Service at pool bar slow and at times no one in attendance.
The option to have a beach and a pool option. Really good to have beds on the beaches and have a free shuttle bus to the beach and the old town. I have to say i was disappointed with the standard of fittings in our two rooms and the lack of design and colour in the hotek in general it has not been kept uo to date and felt for the price it should be better. Although all staff were delightful and helpful.
Room, facilities and especially Staff were great, thank you.
Luxurious, comfortable hotel. Great location. Excellent pools. The food at the restaurant was beautifully presented and delicious. The shuttle bus to the beach and town was very good too We did feel the family room was a bit small and the camp bed uncomfortable especially for an older teenager. The room also needed updating and road noise could be clearly heard from the room. We did enjoy our stay here though and would recommend the hotel.
Excellent location to enjoy the beach directly across from the hotel with sun loungers. Lovely pools & great breakfast. Nice music till 10pm & complinentary bus to town & free bikes are a nice bonus. Trips can be booked from hotel - good selection altho staff perhaps dont have much advice on them tho perhaps its language barrier. Really rnjoyed our stay & room upgrade
Clean and close to beach& restaurants. Staff at hotel very friendly and always willing to help.
A wonderful piece of paradise. Very peaceful with very friendly staff. Spent two weeks here and would do it again in a heartbeat.
Lovely, but HOT
Lovely hotel with very attentive staff. The beachfront is under construction, so they take you by van to another beach which is pleasant, but too many vendors. You can walk a bit from the front of the hotel and access the public beach. At the hotel there's a lovely grassy area that is beachfront with chairs and umbrellas. You don't really need a beachfront room...it is on a BUSY street with a curve and nearly every car. truck and motorbike honks as it goes around the corner. Breakfast is nice, but be warned, if heat is a problem for you, there is NO air conditioned place to eat. There are ans, but it's still very warm. Pool is lovely and the bar serves promptly poolside. Rooms and bathrooms are huge and very comfortable.
Great facilities and character, lovely views along the river. Bathroom a little tired but room lovely.
Friendly stsff good rooms great setting on the river
Good - Clean and tidy. Friendly staff. Reasonable pricing. Disappointing - Deceptive on-line photos
This hotel is in a great location, with a private beach right across the road (although as other reviews have stayed it is currently being sandbagged and worked on by the government so isn't the prettiest right now) and restaurants, massage places and mini marts a short walk away. We still used the beach - the water was lovely and there were towels and deck chairs set up by the hotel. The hotel is a little older and could use with some fresh updates, particularly in the bathroom of our room. The spa on site is wonderful and I recommend taking advantage of the daily deals they have. The breakfast didn't have as wide a selection and as much of a variance day to day as other places I have stayed at previously in Hoi An. There are shuttles available into town and to An Bang Beach from the hotel. The pools on site are great and these areas have been maintained well. This is a good hotel, but it just didn't have the wow factor in the guest room that some of the other places I've stayed in during the trip and in previous visits to Vietnam had.
It was lovely and quiet and the grounds were so well cared for .. also the staff were so helpful nothing was too much trouble .. lots of local eateries just outside the hotel and a shuttle to take you into old town ..Take a free bicycle to ride through rice fields or just explore... easy ride into old town. The beach is just a walk over a small road or you can enjoy the two pools .. this property is between the river and the ocean beautiful position ...amazing breakfast on the deck overlooking the river.
Staff was outstanding. Rooms were big and bed was very big and soft. The sand on the beach was being restored.
Great value hotel
It is a good value hotel. Even though it is not a new hotel it was well maintained and easily found good places to eat near by. Free shuttles were great to old town and bang beach with good schedules. the staff was friendly and hopeful in every way.
We have stayed at Hoi An Beach resort a few times over the last few years. The staff are lovely, beds VERY soft and comfortable , good shower/water pressure and clean. However if you are thinking of staying here for private beach access you may want to consider somewhere else. The beach is under construction- however when we were here in 2016 and 2017 the big sand bags were there as well to stop the beach eroding. They did offer a shuttle service to another resort for beach use but it wasn’t frequent so we didn’t use it. we were disappointed because when we booked we didn’t expect it to be in the current state and the sole purpose was for beach access and swimming. The bags are large so you have to scale them down to the water.
I like food and travel minibus to Hoi An. Also personnel and housekeeping.
Hotel was really nice, clean, comfortable and by the water. We had a great stay. Great value for money.
Loved the riverview from our rooms and the infinity pool, great private beach area just a few steps across the road. Fantastic breakfast and super comfortable beds.
The resort offered a swim up bar facility - the facility/structure was there but was never staffed. During our stay there was a large conference group which on a number of occasions caused areas (infinity pool / dining area) to be closed to other guests with little notice for private functions which was inconvenient.
The view was beautiful daytime and night time. We had amazing sunset there. We will stay there again if we go to Hoi An.
We enjoy our stay. Room was clean in good location and the pool was lovely. Mrs Be Ha worked in Dinning area was very kind and looked after us. During our stay. The only thing I was upset about was on checking out the reception accused us of taking soap container. That was not true. Made us feel uncomfortable. Over all the stay was great
Great view from room, must have a river view..................................................
The beach, pool and room were beautiful. The staff was helpful and pleasant.
It was my second time at Hoi An beach resort and it won’t be my last. Great value for what you get.
Lovely, quiet room, shame about the bathroom
Lovely resort, offering free shuttle to/from Hoi An(stunning place). We got upgraded to a riverfront view room, which was massive, bright, had a lovely small terrace with table&chairs, TV with many foreign channels and all the usual comforts. Breakfast was nice, so was the service.Unfortunately as soon as one walks into the bathroom, one feels disappointed-it is very dark, decorated in a really old-fashioned way, shower cubicle visibly old, I don't think the bathtub had been washed carefully as I saw old water marks and the lowest point-hairdryer that one finds in a budget hotel-mounted to the wall and you have to keep pressing the button for it to work. Not at all what I'd expect from a resort like this.Bathroom just did not match the rest of the environment. We liked the snooker table and books/magazines free to use for the guests. However, one day the smaller pool was visibly dirty, the beach across the road is awfully dirty and smelly(the tiny part belonging to the hotel is clean but one cannot even go down to the water due to many massive sandbags). The other shuttle does go to another beach though, which is very nice.We cycled there as well as around Hoi An and the islands on the river(lovely quiet countryside)but the bike hire was ridiculously expensive compared to most hotels/B&Bs and the bikes looked extremely old-again,not what one expects from a resort. Invest in new bikes and lower the price! All in all I'd stay again though because it was quiet&peaceful, nice grounds
Relaxing holiday
Great resort, friendly staff, well maintained. Best breakfast view overlooking the river.
great stay good hotel with friendly staff, good food etc etc. the beach opposite the hotel was not in good shape but they had arrranged free shuttle to other beach 3km away
Beautiful setting, lovely staff, quiet location, great amenities, convenient transport into old Hoi An ( ten minute drive) or to An Bang Beach
We stayed in a Grand Deluxe room and after our visit to Hanoi, this was a welcome change, much larger with a small terrace to enjoy. Being “winter” there weren’t so many people staying and we had the pool pretty much to ourselves for the first day or two. The grounds were very well managed and staff were always pleasant and cheerful. The Shuttle into Hoi An (4kms) was a nice touch too, leaving and returning on time. Food in the restaurant was nice with a good mix of local and western dishes. Thanks to everyone at the Hoi An Beach Resort for making our 4 day break a lovely experience.
My partner and I had a wonderful time at their hotel! Awesome New Years party :)
Very nice hotel - beach area has been ruined by storms but they are working to restore it.
Very pleasant property on the river. A great nightly lantern released on the river during dinner. The beach is not really accessible but has a good pool area.
Hotel room was clean, very large, bed very comfortable. Spa booking was limited, so couldn’t use free 30 minute service. Otherwise, great breakfast and serene setting.
This is the second time my sons and I have stayed at this hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay although the weather was bad. The staff are delightful, the food excellent and both gala dinners were good fun. It was great to see the waiting staff and chefs joining in with the fun!
Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Our room was upgraded on arrival. All in all we would highly recommend this hotel.
Great for a relaxed weekend
The service is great. Very recommended the cooking class as we went by bike to the market to buy the ingredients . The hotel is in a peaceful area and with shuttle bus to the center, very convenient

Staff were vey friendly. Great location with the river on one side and the ocean on the other. Amazing selection of food for breakfast.
