We stayed there for 10 days we LOVED it! Safe place. I wish they would clean the rooms more often and have a broom in the room! Also it would be great if they offered to stock your fridge (for payment of course) Only con was that darn bar across the street the noise was unreal

Resort is geared to young families and older time share folks, as long as you keep your music down its a nice quiet place to sleep at.

Entire experience gets 5 stars!!!. Every staff member was wonderful! Everyone was so kind and helpful if needed. And they were always smiling! Will definitely be going back!

This property was close to so many things to do. They have security on site, so it is very safe. The staff were accommodating. There is a nightclub close, and we could hear the music until early morning hours in the second bedroom, so may want a noise machine or ear plugs if you get placed in a room that is close to the club. We enjoyed our stay immensely and will return next time to same resort. They have free onsite washer and dryers that were nice to have to keep up on laundry. This was our first time in St. Maarten and I feel this resort was the best option to make our stay memorable.

Great 3 bedroom option with full kitchen. Very walkable.

Property had been remodelled and was very modernized. The units have a very beautiful view of the Caribeaan and bay area with yachts and sail boats moving in and out continuously.

This hotel was recently remodeled and in excellent condition in the room and around the property. Staff was friendly and we had a great time in the hotel and surrounding area. The only issue is the bar Nowhere Special across the road from the hotel blasts music from 9:30pm to about midnight every night. Not just loud music but rock concert loud music and the open air doors and rear bedrooms in the rooms are directly in the line of fire.The hotel tries their best and provides ear plugs and will call the police if you ask but then the music only goes from a 12 to 11. One other consideration is the proximity to the bridge, when the bridge opens to let a boat pass the traffic can back up for unclear periods of time, sometimes it’s only 10 minutes but we waited one time for about 1 hour and 45 minutes to cross the 2 km from the airport area to the hotel. The traffic just is what it is in St Martin as there are no traffic lights so the delays just seem to vary based on how many people are on the road in that area.

Stayed at a 2 bedroom loved it with balcony pool access all night walking distance to beach restaurants many options definitely will be going back

I have experienced noise nuisance from a bar across the road. It has kept me awake every night. They start the very loud music at 9PM to exceed 2AM. A shame for this nice Hotel

Staff not friendly, specially the security guards and some front desk receptionist, never friendly at any time, even the staff at the pool bar, I don't know if they are low pay, the room was amazing with all the necessary to cook, rest and enjoy. I will think twice to back there and not to another hotel.

Property was just what we needed for a family of children celebrating birthday

I had an amazing time. The hotel was convenient to any and everything you could think of from souvenirs to bars. The hotel staff was equally amazing. I celebrated my birthday there and they made me a gift basket for my day! Kimani and Marie at the beach cabana kept the drinks and food coming!

As this was my first time in St. marten, my experience in staying at the resort was great. They were attentive and most of the staff were friendly. The apartment like rooms were great for a family and the 2 bathrooms so no one was waiting an extra long time. My only concern was that during the time of the hurricane and the shut down of the town and airport, the hotel nor corporate from the hotel executives, was not accommodating in providing residents with a discount of at least 1 free stay as they were aware that there were a lot of people who were not able to leave for at least 4 days thereafter.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Royal Palm. The staff was really nice and checkin and checkout was way easy and quick. The area was super convenient as well. It's nice that the pool is heated and they have towels for you down at the beach. Snorkeling was actually really good here too by the rocks. I would definitely recommend staying here. Only downside was the Nowhere Special Bar across the street plays music really loud sometimes past midnight. Hilton can't control that though.

Love the view and sunset everyday

We had a great time at the hotel. Front desk person I think her name is Khadija was very helpful and friendly. Staff was very polite and everything we asked for, we received in 15 mins. Will definitely stay there again.

Family Vacation

The views were fantastic, room was nice and clean. We had 6 in the two bedroom and it didnt feel cramped. The beach area is great. Pool is a little small but they have a swim up bar. The bar across the street is REALLY loud till late in the night but a white noise app fixed that if you are on the side of the hotel that faces it. Decent location with several restaurants within walking distance. Pretty much everything is 7 to 10 bucks per person for a cab anywhere else. Store onsite had good variety of stuff and not stupid expensive. Overall minus the bar across the street it was fantastic.

Does not clean the room daily and if they do clean it it’s every 3 days. Floors was full of sand so it was never vacuumed

We felt like we were constantly being supervised like little children by a security female security gaurd. Pool rules that applied only to my family but not others. Also staff is very rood and not friendly. Rooms were excellent but the staff not so much, i wont be staying there ever.

We enjoyed the resort. It is in a great location, easy to visit the Dutch and French side. It is clean and there are plenty of dining options close by. I would rent a car to visit beaches around the island. We did and there are many beaches within 20 minutes to an hour. The resort beach is small but nice. The staff is great and property is clean and well-kept.

Reasonable choice with caveats

Ten mins from airport, hotel is right on the water, one expanse of beach and a secluded cove. You can snorkel and will see plenty of fish, and sea life among the rocks that shelter the beach and the water is warm and fairly clear, & it wasn’t crowded. Free sun loungers and beach towels from a hut. The pool area was fine, a nice swim up bar but it felt crowded at times. The pool rules were scattershot, no noodles or floaters but they were available…enforcement depended on who was standing around. I felt the pool water could use a better filter system as it was cloudy at times. The Cabana bar / restaurant was mostly good to great and has a decent happy hour. Our first meal was excellent, subsequent ones just good. One quibble was the service charge or was it a gratuity? That said the staff were cheerful and keen to help, and organized activities each day were fun. Our 5th Flr unit was clean, with a lovely bay view, two modern showers, good kitchen - pretty comfy, and it was (2 bed) big enough for our family (5) BUT the BAR NOISE after 9:30pm was a problem - the beach side bedroom was fine but the street side is brutal. I did request away from the road but we were placed opposite Nowhere Special. We put on white noise and fans so our teen kids could sleep, but that wouldn’t work for two adult couples and you’re forced to hang out on balcony to talk. Resort is no pets but we did see several dogs - Hilton should enforce that. We did enjoy our stay but with some rough edges.

Excellent staff and location

Perfect resort location. Close to everything. Walking distance to plenty of eateries and shops. The resort staff, the ocean view room , the food, the amenities , and beach front was excellent. The daily activities were also nice. Staff was family friendly oriented. The only one that was not true. They said no pets allowed except for service animals and that’s the only reason why I chose the resort, then I see a lady with a dog went into the resort restaurant and she was not being responsible the dog left her and was walking around all at the cabana and the pool area unattended. Some ladies thought it was a stray dog and they paid and left and I did the same. I was not trying to be bothered with no dog. Then someone said owners are allow to have dog. So please remove the no pets allow.

My sister and I have had the most challenging year. This vacation fed our souls and restored a sense of peace and beauty. I cannot thank the staff enough for their exceptional care and dedication to making our experience so perfect.

I have been staying here for over 20 years and will continue to do so. Perfect family venue and very well maintained throughout. I am not the type to spend the entire vacation in the hotel, but I have no problem spending time in this one. The Cabana pool and beach area is great and all the rooms have balconies with amazing ocean view.

The front desk staff was so accommodating, the men on the beach kept it so clean and free of debris. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We loved it so much we already booked for next year.

Absolutely loved everything about the resort. Would give it a 10/10 BUT the bar across the street, Nowhere Special, had live bands playing every night, sometimes until 1:30am, and they were VERY loud. We had a 2-bedroom unit, however, the back bedroom near the street could not be used because of the loud music. Unfortunately, we had to use the somewhat uncomfortable pull-out couch instead. Everything else about this resort was fantastic and would go again but would hopefully get a room in the west wing instead -- much quieter!

My husband and I both agree that this complex is top notch..for any age group. We are seniors and everything including the restaurant, pool, beach with palm leaf shade,. beach towels, were top notch. The area is relatively quiet and walkable including great location to grocery markets and restaurants. Most of the condos overlook the ocean. We hope to return next year.

Just returned from an 8 night stay at the Hilton Royal Palm Beach and it was just a perfect stay! We loved the location and there are many restaurants within walking distance. Great place for families or couples. Would definitely stay here again!

Spring Break

Everything was beautiful from the beach to the room! The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay.

Third time there and never disappoints.

I always stay at the Royal Palm but was unhappy this time due to the pigeons pooping all over the balcony. Housekeeping came right away and cleaned it thoroughly but the same mess by the pigeons was back the next day.

Lovely unit, pool and property. Staff very helpful and store was convenient . Very convenient to airport, restaurants etc. Only con was the Sat night music at adjacent club - extremely loud.

enjoyed our Vacation

The Hotel and staff were excellent! The beach was excellent.Only problem we had was the Clubs nearby the Hotel kept us awake most nights since their music was extremely loud. Especially the beach club next door on weekends it was so loud both day and night that we could not stay on the beach. I love music but it was extremely loud and kept us awake most nights.It sounded like front and back of building were competing for who was the loudest. Aside form the loud music the staff and entire hotel was better than our expectation.

Excellent Customer Service and Food

Great location and friendly workers

Wonderful location for easy access to many restaurants and markets for food. Plenty of room for our family of four. Very friendly people that worked there. Kenan, Alex, kimani and Kenisha at the bar and pool areas were very friendly and we enjoyed talking with them during our sta. They did their job very well. The only negative was cleaning of the room only once during our week stay and hard to exchange towels when needed in room(not pool/beach). However, Chana at the front desk, was very helpful and asked if we had gotten our towels exchange that we requested and followed up on that. She even remember my name. She was very pleasant and good at her job!

Will not go back

The room looks nice but the hotel location is horrible next to a live music bar that plays super loud almost every day until 1am so there is no way you can sleep. The facility it self is super basic with a very small an not clear pool located on a very not attractive beach. The service is super not friendly, they clean the rooms only once a week and the check out time is at 10am!!!

Newly renovated property. Excellent rooms. Quiet AC. The big issue was noise. We were put right across the street from a restaurant / bar that had live music nearly every night well into the early morning hours. My children could not sleep. Also, you can hear every chair move in the rooms above you. The beach is very nice with access to water sports, but watch our for jellyfish. I had a nasty bite on 1 of the days. I also had 2 bites on the same beach the previous time we came to this resort, so this wasn't a one-off. I guess it depends if you get unlucky with it or not. Bring distilled white vinegar in a small sprayer bottle (under 100 ml if you're not checking in bags) just in case. Spraying the bite gets rid of the pain within a few minutes. The location on Welfare Road makes it very convenient to get to restaurants. We rented a car but you can walk to a number of restaurants as well. Would definitely recommend this hotel but if you have children, make sure to get a room in the quieter section of the resort.

Loved this property, clean and ocean front. Easy walk to restaurants, friendly service and the Cabana restaurant on property was quite good! Excellent johnnycakes !

Convenient property Very nice accomodations

Due to a computer outage in the area on my island I was unable to cancel my stay at the Hilton. Know it’s not your fault but I tried soooo hard to cancel so we wouldn’t need to pay for the room. Hopefully we can stay next time.

Great choice and location!! The staff was very professional. The room was very comfortable. 2BR/2BA ocean front with balcony. Nice pool and beach. Lots of choices for loungers and umbrellas. Swim up bar. breakfast lunch and dinner available on property.

We always stay at the Royal Palm when we visit St. Martin! It is close to everything we need and convenient to walk to restaurants at night without having to drive. The staff is wonderful! Really enjoyed hanging out with Kimani at the pool bar! Beach is always clean with calm waters. I can't say enough about how great this resort is!
