This has the best bay ever, beautiful beach, sand and water. Food was great! Great burgers. Amazing service! Outstanding view from our room.
Dirty pool, poor beach, bad food
Good quality accommodation and restaurants but poor care or beach around property. Lots of trash everywhere. Also their card system to enter the room needs work
This property was overall amazing for our family trip. Beautiful pools and beach, great dining options, amazing staff, onsite shopping options, plenty of activities and shows. This resort was more than I expected!
Wonderful place to stay! Went to celebrate a 30th birthday and it was perfect! Very relaxing atmosphere, and extremely friendly staff. Only sad part is we had to come back home, would’ve loved to stay longer.
Very good service outstanding
Beautiful location. Wonderful staff.
Filthy pool, horrible food, 700 rooms, mediocre beach, non responsive management but nice staff, so don’t waste your time & money.
They had a leaking septic pipe in front of casa 6, so it smelled and they stopped running shuttle to the building where our room was. Daughter got water in her ear and the on call doctor was late, rude, unprofessional. Hotel couldn’t get into room next door so they cam through our room while we were there and climbed from our balcony to the other hanging off the 3rd floor with no safety. Staff could never remember if they’d brought us towels and would knock on our door @12:30 in the morning to ask if towels had shown up. For a Hilton, they should be embarrassed
Very nice property, several restaurants and choices to dine, cafe and snacks open 24/7 We will come back 😀
This is an absolutely amazing place for vacation. Great pools, beach and views. Acceptable food options, there are at least two restaurants that are amazing, others are above average. The one single thing I would suggest to rethink is the cups used for drinks in general. They didn't have enough and I observed these were not properly washed.
Awesome stay. Great for families
The place has a lot of potential if they could improve bar and dining service.
The whole experience was horrific. The food was barely edible. We paid an extra 250$ a night for the “ enclave “ and it was a joke. We couldn’t get one reservation we wanted, I am in the process of revoking the charge on our credit card. Room service took 2 hours, which then the food was cold. I wouldn’t go back if it was free. Ruined our Christmas to fly so far and so so so bad. Service too, so bad.
We thoroughly enjoyed our winter vacation at the Hilton Tulum Resort!
Amazing property for families
Food choices are limited despite many restaurants onsite.
4/5
We had to wait 2 hours for towels at the pools. Dinner Reservations wasn’t fair.
They say everything is Oceanfront but don’t differentiate between pool view vs Oceanfront. We had to get our room changed after 3 nights though we paid for Oceanfront. Not so many international food varieties, namely zero indian food. Getting to the lobby vs room was a time waste as you have to shuttle in the trolley. Not many activities or shows even during the Holidays time, not really worth the money for the huge amounts we paid
Great place. Check in process was slow.
The staff were amazing! Super friendly and helpful. Food was really good.
We had great time at Hilton Tulum. We received excellent service and we really appreciate it. Gomeicinodo Isabel greeted us with smile every morning and provided excellent service. Charlie from Activities department kept us busy, entertained and amazed. Pool temperature was at the best for comfortable swimming. The food options were great but it would be nice to have some more proper Indian / vegetarian options rather than just vegetables.
very new property. good size rooms but too crowded for the number of people. not enough buffets and coffee shops. too many racons running around at night eating off room service left overs. very friendly people, 6 different restaurants options but service is too slow due to overcrowding. lastly too may kids, if you don't have kids this place is not for you
Loved our stay here!! Staff was so friendly and the property was very nice! Only thing we did not care for was how crowded it was. It’s a very large property. Otherwise, great place for families.
I found the staff to be unreliable and very dismissive about questions and concerns. The staff gave inaccurate information pertaining to booking of restaurants and transportation to the airport.
Nice property. Room service can be time consuming at times due to property size and number of people.
Hilton Tulum - A Complete Disaster If you’re considering Hilton Tulum for your next vacation, think again. This resort is a massive disappointment and a complete waste of money. What should have been a relaxing getaway turned into a frustrating ordeal. Here’s why: 1. Beach - Hazardous and Dirty The beach was littered with plastic and full of sharp, hard rocks that made entering the water dangerous and nearly impossible. I cut my foot badly on the rocks and couldn’t walk for days, which ruined my entire trip. The resort’s failure to maintain a safe and clean beachfront is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one claiming to be luxury. 2. Service - Dishonest and Frustrating The resort is rife with shady practices. Bellboys worked with taxi drivers to overcharge guests for rides to Tulum and exchange currency at outrageous rates. It felt like every interaction was a setup to scam you rather than provide genuine hospitality. 3. Food - Disgusting and Unrecognizable The food was beyond terrible. Every meal resembled some sort of goo—indistinguishable, greasy, and unappetizing, regardless of the time of day. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, everything was overly oily and lacked any flavor or quality. I’ve never dreaded mealtime on a vacation before, but Hilton Tulum managed to make food feel like a punishment. 4. Drinks - Far From Top Shelf For an all-inclusive resort, the drink options were shockingly bad. The “top shelf” liquor was laughable—the most expensive
The property was absolutely gorgeous! The water was crystal clear. The food was better than expected for an all inclusive. It was difficult to find a chair near the nicer swimming pools. It was annoying that people left their towels there all day. It was also difficult to get dinner reservations at a reasonable hour. They seemed to fill up the moment they became available.
The property was amazing. If you didn’t want to leave the resort you didn’t have to. Everything is just there.
Never really stay at big resorts. Hilton was very nice, clean, absolutely great staff. Food options were actually very good. One downside was that the only areas to access the beach and ocean were next to pools where they were constantly doing some kind of activities which amounted to an MC on a mike making a ton of needless noise. It was unbearable sometimes and subtracted from the beautiful water and beach
All the staffs was very nice and clean resort. We need more day and night activities
Pros : big resort. Lots of amenities. Neat and plenty of activities for all throughout day. Helpful Hilton app. Shuttles came often to take people from area to area. Lots of pools for everyone to spread out and be be crowded. Several dinner restaurants options. Staff nice and friendly. Nightly entertainment good. Cons: too big. Takes time to get to different areas. Front desk kept sending us to concierge for basic questions. Buffet Food was OK- caters to most people. Lacks flavor. We had 4 rooms at casa 2– it was noisy daily starting at 6 am- due to guests or staff. Hallway echos. Ground level rooms draws bugs and insects inside rooms.
Everything was great
The hotel is very nice. The staff is amazing. What really is inconvenient is they enforced the dress code when you go to dinner which is understandable and I get it but when you go on vacation, you don’t wanna have to think about what you’re wearing. You just wanna go eat And have a good time with your family. The staff is amazing they go above and beyond to accommodate you.
The hotel was overall good , food was ok
Great establishment
We loved the hotel and the food and service was actually very good. Only complaint is the shuttles to main entrance don’t always stop for you.
Amazing staff
All the staff was so great and hospitable! Monica and Luismi were great!!!
Overall is good stay
The best decision we’ve made for our Tulum trip was staying at this resort. The resort was extremely safe with a security checkpoint before you enter the premises. The staff was so friendly and eager to help you.Getting free lattes daily was an added bonus for us. We knew this was an all inclusive but the amount and quality of food and drinks amazed us. They also have a schedule of activities during the day so if you don’t want to leave you don’t have to! I highly recommend staying here for the most breathtaking and calming experience!!
The staff were amazing! We had such a great stay, the food was good, drinks were strong, and the staff was very attentive! The only downfall was the rocks in the ocean hurting your feet, otherwise 10/10!!!!
I would rate it 5 stars if it had better entertainment. Although it is a design fault by not having a better stage. Everything else was top notch.
.
This resort was everything I didn’t expect. I loved staying there and I definitely recommend. I will definitely go back there.
Excellent resort I will go again
Everything was just top notch
Amazing! We had a beautiful time. Food also was amazing
This was an amazing property somewhat far from tilum airport, excellent food. 8 pools, entertainment can be improved overall wonderful experience
The spa was very nice. Customer service was excellent.
Gorgeous property quiet and could use more activities geared towards adults. Pools were amazing. Rocky beaches. Restaurants could use more vegetarian options and Indian cuisine recommended. Buffet should have been open everyday not just the weekend.
Very large resort. The people that work there are excellent. Everybody is friendly and helpful!
Excellent hotel and staff/service.
Food was very underwhelming. Not alot of good options. The only restaurant I liked was the Japanese one.
Many of the rooms at this hotel have a view of the ocean, and I specifically paid extra for an “Ocean View” room. Unless you pay an upcharge, you will get a “Nature View room (jungle). Our room was on ground level, with a berm in front of our patio. You could HEAR the ocean, and you could SMELL the ocean, but you could not SEE the ocean from our patio. The hotel did not appear to be anywhere near full capacity, so I am puzzled why the front desk put us in this room. If they had just put us one floor higher, we would have had a wonderful view of the ocean. As we arrived late in the day, and were tired after flying, we just decided to accept the room. Note: The room TV had intermittent signal outages and one night there was no satellite signal at all. Now I know you're thinking, why did you go to Tulum to watch TV, but this was at the end of a long day and we were retiring for the night, and my wife would have liked to watch a movie. In one of the restaurants (Vela Sur), I was served a dirty glass of ice with food debris in it, which the waiter handed me to pour my soda into. Let me clarify, it was not the ice that was dirty, it was actually a dirty glass that had not been washed properly. I looked at the waiter to see if he caught it but he just walked away. The wristband fob is a great idea, even though a wristband seems like a step back at an all-inclusive, but it's actually difficult to lose and you don't have to remember it when you leave your room.
The property was ok. Food choices could have been better
The grounds were absolutely beautiful!
The property is very nice, food is great, and the staff is very friendly. I liked that they had the option to text with the concierge, this was great when we had to change our dinner reservations or know the activities for the day. Very responsive staff and overall great experience!
Excellent resort. It gear toward family and kids. Food is ok. Drinks are water down. But, kids had kot of fun. Recommend, if you are traveling with little kids.
Absolutely beautiful resort - food options are wonderful and the staff are always there with a smile and are very helpful. We stayed in the family area and it was perfect for us. The room was a very good size with an ample balcony.
*
At first i asked for preparing new steaks because they were old and greasy , nobody aswered . But the next day everything went ok
The staff is amazing. The service is excellent.
The staff is extremely hospitable and the grounds are well maintained. I highly recommend a stay here. Its paradise!
Muy buen hotel
It's an average place overall. The best feature is the beautiful view. However, the beach area is quite small, and there aren't enough pools or beach space to accommodate guests comfortably. Additionally, the racks in the water make it difficult to swim without wearing beach shoes
It was a good stay. Enjoyed our vacation. Beach was little smaller or different and was easy access. Upgraded to enclave was a good idea but the service in enclave bar was poor may be because I didn’t speak Spanish or I didn’t tip much. Service was slow because of lots of people visiting for thanksgiving. Food was good for lunch and they had good varieties. Dinner we had to reserve every day and was little time consuming. Noriko and pizza restaurant was the best but maxal the Mexican restaurant was worst. Chef over there was little partial over services and he did not explained any thing like he did with others and food was okay. Spa in Conrad was the cherry on the cake.
It was a great place to get away. I wish there was more selection for casual dining. The cafe was great and the service was top notch. Would come back again!
Resort is nice and clean, very friendly staff only minus is food, not the best also no reservations available while restaurants not even half occupied, was very dissapointed on Thanksgiving they could not accommodate us for Thanksgiving Dinner ,shame on management that this class of hotel cant open more tables on patio,to fit everyone for Thanksgiving!
CONS.. Buffet has poor variety and presentation comparable with other Hiltons It’s inconvenient that in order to get dinner you need to make reservations with at least 2 days in advance, because the buffet dinner doesn’t open the whole week ( no great food) Drinks and cocktails are not well known, even the regular margaritas are bad. Just one bar and one staff (I don’t remember bartender name) made me on Wednesday November 27 at 5pm great margaritas. They don’t have good reposado tequila only white and cheaper light reposado Entertainment staff really boring. At thanksgiving dinner it was a Cuban band that they are no allow to play Latin music (in Mexico) really? I understand it’s thanksgiving but Americans also like Latin music ! No music or alcohol after 12am literally! More that 6 jacuzzi NO WORKING or not hot water or damaged jets or pump Please notice per employee info this hotel was built no more that 3 years ago .. I can’t imagine the future 🙄 PROS ? Staff services and care with professionalism Rooms are beautiful Transportation inside hotel very efficient Technology inside rooms Very clean and beautiful hotel Mini bar at rooms are filled every they with water juice sodas and beer It has restaurants with reservations, I just visited the Mexican very good and meat no too much variety of beef cut as advertised good as well Close access to beach and pools
I would recommend, very nice place to stay beautiful beach and friendly staff
I loved the food, the staff, the cleanliness everything overall
The property was nice and well maintained
I liked the size of the room and the ocean view. I liked that they had activities almost everyday. I wish the food was a little more authentic but overall had a good experience.
Very good service and good. The room smells mouldy and all the doors are mouldy. Good live entertainment shows every night.

Good hotel but rude receptionist
The workers at the hotel are good encountered one rude receptionist but overall the experience was amazing they hate it when you book with a third party. Make sure you verify all your information when booking your trip or else you will be charged extra charges start from $150 For any small thing that you forgot to add example number of guest
Recommended for families
Very comfortable hotel for families, service was outstanding. Clean, modern, and pretty decent food ( for an all inclusive) . Worth the price.
Amazing service!
We love the cleaning of the hotel, the employees and out-of-the-way to ensure that we had a wonderful time during Stay
Great location. Super clean, and the staff is friendly. The food is acceptable. The only downside is that we were not informed that the kids’ water park was closed for maintenance, especially since the main swimming pool in front of the lobby was also under construction.
The only thing we did not like was check in and check out took forever. Seems like new staff didn’t know what to do. Food was amazing!!’
Very nice clean rooms and enjoyable environment!
Food was ok but buffet closes at 430pm while reservations are never available
This Hilton property had many highs and some lows that were hard to overlook. Some negative aspects of the resort: Transportation between the main building and the casas is unreliable and sporadic. At times, you could be waiting up to 10-12 minutes for a shuttle, and none would come. The walk from the far casas to the main building is over a kilometre, so walking was sometimes a pain if you were trying to get to a dinner reservation on time. The service staff in the buffet restaurants are not the best. Some were great, but some lacked. Alcohol drinks were below average quality. The classic margarita tasted odd no matter where it was ordered from In the resort. We believe that the quantity of alcohol within the cocktails was not the proper ratios The gym was average and maybe a bit small for the resort's size. More free weights, a squat rack, or a bench would be a great addition. Some highlights: The Steakhouse. The food was great, and the service staff were enjoyable and knowledgeable. The wifi was excellent throughout the entire resort.
Really nice
Loved everything about this trip. Definitely coming back with my whole family.
Lovely stay
Me and my girlfriends had a fantastic time at this resort. The rooms are modern and clean. The staff made us feel welcome from day 1 and provided good service with a smile. So many pools to take advantage of and lovely beach areas too. Great place to relax and disconnect. Make sure to visit the spa, it’s incredible!
It’s a great place for staying.
Beautiful property, great food and amazing staff! I’ll be back
the food was not great .very poor quality dinner returants
Quiet resort with decent a la carte options but buffet is not always available (depends on occupancy) makes it difficult with children because they do not have have kids menu at most a la carte restaurants Beautiful facility and clean The kids club is also great but programs are sometimes cancelled due to lack of children attending the club.
Beautiful property with amazing staff that care for those who are staying at the resort. Has areas for adults and children separated. Will definitely come back!!
I had an amazing experience. Absolutely amazing.
This hotel is nice and the food was very good. Very clean property with very attentive nice staff. The only thing is it can be a far walk to the lunch buffet near the pool bar but other than that this hotel is very nice. I would stay here again.
Really big property have to catch cart shuttles to get around but other than that it was a great hotel
Hotel was large and had variety of places to eat. The room was clean and spacious.
Very nice
Beautiful
Wonderful, wonderful place. I will definitely be back! Great place to bring kids. My only concern is about 3/4 of the servers and workers were very nice, and about the other 1/4 seemed very unhappy and resentful of the guests. I get it. But it makes it a little less fun. Super beautiful place. Thank you!
