Great place, staff very friendly, gorgeous place….I highly recommend the Hotel Hilton Labriz….
Simply the best vacation spot! Our family truly enjoyed our stay at Hilton on this magical island and will undoubteldy be returning back.
Unforgettable vacation spot with unbelievable natural beauty 360 deg around. Hilton resort is impressive with clean and spacious villas, very nice pool and restaurants. Staff is friendly and professional. Beaches are so picturesque it often felt unreal. Overall the best vacation destination for our family to date and we will undoubtedly be back.
Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful
The service was top notch, food was amazing and diverse, the overall layout was very thoughtful. Abel, Jackson and Yannic took care off all our need.
Great stay
Excellent stay. Resort is kept very tidy and is well-maintained and the staff are very friendly. Everything is very expensive, from the ferry to cross to Silhouette, food and drink but this in part is because almost everything has to be imported.
Amazing!
Amazing hotel on a secluded island. Beautiful beaches, beachfront villa is very much worth it. Would go back for every holiday!
Good service plus fantastic nature
Great Stay
This new hotel is beautifully designed with attention to detail and friendly staff. We had an amazing stay at the Mango House and will definitely be back.
The food and service is no where close to a 5 star hotel.
I liked the island it is amazing and our host was very helpful and friendly however; some of the staff such as the house keeping and room service needs more training on dealing with customers. Also, the property is overpriced compared to others in Seychelles
Pros: Nature, secludedness from other resorts and crowds, territory, overall territory cleanliness, waiters and staff hospitality, hotel comprises of separate villas, long beaches, good dive center, trekking and wild beaches, however difficult to reach. Cons: hotel and reception misinformation as per construction works near the villa, junk and street food mostly, no beach cleaning from seaweed and decomposing weeds' scent, mostly dead corals, need swimming boots not to cut the feet, not that much variety of marine life on the shallow, low tides are frequent. We enjoyed the hotel itself re its disposition on a sanctuary island. However, there are too many obvious cons. The food in 4degrees restaurant is fine, but only when you ask not to overcook it on the grill with little butter/oil… Most of the food is oiled greasy and stogy food. I was astonished that even with complaining the management about the food quality and their promise to do the most at the following dinner our complaints were ignored. However, the dinner was for the hotel, that’s their excuse. There are some edible dishes at Grann Kaz and Portobello restaurants. We had a villa which was just one from villas under reconstruction. At the check-in we were told that no works to be held during our stay there. It was a surprise to discover a turning truck at 7.45 AM on our patio on the 6-th day of the stay. It appeared several times taking the construction waste out. The other day we were provided with another villa.
Natural Beauty, at a cost
Beautiful location very quiet and serene, but absolutely infested with insects. Since the property is located in a national park, there is an emphasis on preserving nature, and perhaps this is why they do not spray for insects and simply allow bugs to enter the beach cabanas. Additional inconveniences included that they did not fix the shower for seven days, and the air conditioner drips onto the nightstands next to the bed, so we cannot leave phones plugged in there or they may be ruined. The location is simply stunning, and the interpersonal service is very friendly, but it is not up to the best standards.
The hotel has a great location villas spacious, well equipped. lovely place beach amazing but we had to get used to the low tide which means no swimming in the sea most of the time just
The Hilton Labriz was fantastic Great location, beautiful island, good food, friendly staff There’s alot to see and do, hiking, snorkeling, fishing, bicycle riding, and much more We felt very welcome and enjoyed it very much
Great setting and beach
Amazing rainforest setting and great beach. Spacious villa and good service. Food choice was adequate and prices fair — we went for a la carte option and it worked out better than half board. We liked 4th degree restaurant the most.
Magical place
Amazing place, great staff and services and love how close to nature you feel
Beautiful location
Excellent location, friendly staff and great variety of f&b choices
The place is beautiful and the staff is very welcoming me and my girlfriend felt awesome
Wonderful stay
Excellent customer service, staff went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. On the galf board option, we were happy with the options for dinner. Plenty of activities on the grounds to keep adults and children occupied.
Excellent location, great service, good restaurants. Only downside is the extra charge for the boat, seems very expensive - in other locations you can pay less money to take ferries for hours.
Everything was beautiful! It was a real ocean paradise.
Splendid location and we had a really enjoyable stay!
Great Island, nice resort... service desert.
The hotel is nicely located on an Island about 30 min boat ride from their Jetty. Nice bungalows etc. . Yet the service and friendliness leaves a lot to improve. If you call a golfcard.. plan ahead... as you will wait for it... if it makes it to pick you up... mini bar fill ups are also not automatic it seems... after 2 days of calling an waiting... we complained. Would i go there again... not really. There are better and more luxurious hotels for less money around.
Great to stay in the indian ocean and much refreshing and relaxing.
A beautiful island with fantastic beaches as one would expect. Very nice staff and great facilities. However, a major issue for us was the appalling WIFI - it was difficult carrying out even the most basic tasks when it was online! Pillows lacked support and I see this has been raised as an issue by other guests. These two important issues for us unfortunately outweighed the positives!
Incredible service, worth the splurge
I can't say enough good things about the service. Jay, our housekeeping manager, did several things to make our stay even more special. The food was good and priced about the same as the other restaurants we experienced on Praslin, Mahe, and La Digue. The beach was gorgeous and not crowded at all. If you get up for sunrise you'll have it 100% to yourself. My only regret is that we stayed here first as our "splurge" on the trip and it made every other place pale in comparison. If you can work it out, stay here for your entire trip or at least come here last!
Superb Silhouette.
This is a really well run facility on a truely beautiful island which is 95% protected national park. We found our beachfront villa really top class and attemtion to detail was impressive from the houskeeping staff. Its on a stunning beach which competely changes with the tide and the opportunities to see a huge variety of marine life was abundantly available. Hiking in the forest on the well marked trails while challenging in the heat and high humidity, if you were prepared with proper hiking shoes and plenty of drinks the opportunity to observe the biodiversity of this unique island was incredible. Hilton added very positive actions towards their sustainable approach to manging their operation including purified drinking water fountains and issuance of a stainless steel water can to each guest to promote the absence of plastics bottles on the site. Bravo! Food and drink were high quality and we enjoyed all of the resturants. It is of course slightly expensive, but possibly matching this kind of exclusive environment. Take advantage of the happy hours available. I have to rate the resort as 9.5 out of 10 and the only 3 reservations reducing by the 0.5 were it is an easterly facing resort, so no sunset to see.. get up for sunrise however.. its really worth it, also rather slow WIFI. Expensive and limited excursions. Shane the Duty Manager was excellent and solved completely a minor issue we had immediately. We highly recommend this resort.
Seychelles getaway
Great place to relax. Although there are hikes and activities, given how lovely and relaxing this place is you’ll probably end up doing very little! Beach front villa was lovely and in a dream spot. Very much enjoyed our stay.
Seychelles romantic getaway
We were greeted and attended to by the most complimentary staff. The service was spot-on. We felt like we arrived at a Jurassic Park type resort where all things we wanted to do, including little extras, were available to us. We scuba, deep sea fishing trolling and caught 10 fish between 12-20 lbs, gorgeous villa/chalet on the beach and fantastic walks. Secluded. Not too many people. Sunsets were amazing. Food was nice. We will come back!
hotel felt like as a paradise. we visited it for our honeymoon and hilton fulfilled our expectation in all manner
Lovely resort
Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely resort with an amazing beach
Great hotel, great location. A luxury experience in a paradise island! We experienced great staff support, we received a free room upgrade from a garden to a beachfront villa and we will always remember our stay in such a hotel with such staff.
A real sample of Paradise !
Highly professional and friendly staff, Cleanliness in rooms and public areas, comfort, size of rooms, and variety of food. A very special appreciation that I would like to extend to all hidden staff who were teaming and complementing others to achieve such a great results and those staff including maintenance, laundry, security, housekeeping, and gardeners. A very special Thanks to Ms. Silvia at Front Office for her assistant and remarkable support. Last but not least, a little words go to the management :Well Job Done !
Holiday of a lifetime
Seychelles was on my bucket list and it didn't disappoint. What a beautiful island Silhouette is. The beaches were stunning. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The beach villa was gorgeous and kept clean by Vitri twice a day. Hope to go back again 🤞😎
Amazing location
Everything was fabulous... Management needs to consider fixing the wifi in all villas and seal the outdooor shower doors properly to prevent insects from coming into the villas.
Paradise
Had a wonderful holiday, resort was beautiful and hotel was excellent. The beach villa was fantastic; it was big enough for a family of 4 with great facilities. We were half board and the food was great; plenty of choice and a lot of care taken with menus.
Perfect family holiday
This is the best place ro spend quality time with the family and a romantic place in the same place
Nice but should be bit more
Nice place and the resort is ok too, beautiful beches and etc. but you have to be careful, they charging extra for everything what they can, even if you have half board you have to pay £8 for 1L of still water, sparkling is £16, in the minibar can of red bull £8, coke £5. For this kind of resort and for the price what you paying for holiday it's unacceptable, shame!!!
Piece of paradise
A memorable place from all aspects. Views, nature, quite, friendly staff. One of the best places i have been. Rented Villa on the beach with unobstructed views. With Tide you have to plan when you go for a swim. Plenty of activities: we did a great snorkeling trip with a PADI operation, highly recommend and very professional and safety minded staff. We did a so/ so trip to see the Turtles but it was a good 3 hour outing. Lot of choices of restaurants though expect goid plentiful food but not great. Portobello was our favorite though not consistent. You must try the Spa..one of a kind. Carved into the mountain, amazing massage.
Holiday beach resort in an idyllic location
The place has had an on-&-off sand fly infestation for the last 18 or so months. In the evenings and into the early morning hours, there are these pests all over the room flying all around and crawling over people. And, some of them bite. It is amazing that such a reputed hospitality company would not address a major quality issue such as this quickly and effectively, particularly considering that the cost of a villa per night is in the neighborhood of $1100. The pests don't even let you eat, drowning in your drinks and perishing on your food. Pchaw! What a sorry way to kick in the New Year!
Beautiful location sadly food and drinks overprice
The snorkeling is expensive, they serve orange slices and water with biscuits onboard which is very average. Its also expensive to go snorkeling for 40 mins more or less. We got engaged, paid over 5000 rupees for the romantic dinner our waiter talked on his cell while we waited for him to serve us. Out break off small flys also pretty irritating.
stunning! Amazing! loved hotel & service! perfect!
Nice relaxing family holiday
Very well managed location. Ideal for couples and families . It isolated from everything else so you are stuck on the island but there is plenty to do and keep everyone entertained. We are a family of 4 with two boys aged 12 and 9. Prebooked taxi to collect from airport but no one showed up. Information desk at airport very helpful and let me make the calls. No sympathy from staff as to why no shuttle arrived . Very expensive taxi ride to get to the boat. Boat is again expensive to take you to the island take travel sickness tablets if don't like bouncy choppy water. My nine year old was sick. Once arrived at island staff very friendly and couldn't do enough to help. We booked for 6 nights on BB basis. Once there you are limited to outside world and very thing is over the top prices so upgraded to half board after couple of nights 5 restaurants on sight but only one which had buffets every night with plenty of choice. Food is also Halal which helped. Older son has food allergies chef and restaurant manager very very helpful to assist in making special dishes for him. Special mention to Neeraj chef and Manager Udahya who made our holiday very relaxing. Room was in execellent location with two second walk to the beach. Spent most days at the beach as the pool was very crowded with families with small children running around without any swimming costumes. There is tennis bike gym and hacking to keep everyone occupied. Overall great holiday and would like to return if affordab
Paradise island
Lovely hotel, very friendly staff, beautiful beaches, lovely food Down side, food and excursions are very expensive, kids club in need of a makeover. Highly recommend this hotel
Amazing - paradise - needs some training
This hotel is paradise in itself. Beautiful location lovely hotel. The only thing is although they do the 5 star bits so well they fail to get the basic customer service needs of any accommodation up to standard.
Very slick transfers, hotel staff were brilliant .
The hotel were very well organised and good at organising and ensuring things went to plan . The hotel was very clean and safe. Staff were pleasant and always happy to help.
Beach Vacation
It was a nice hotel for a beach vacation. The white sandy beaches and clear blue water were amazing. The food was a little expensive for what you get, but I guess you can do that when there is no competition. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The grounds were well taken care of. It's a perfect vacation for those looking to sit on the beach and read a book...very relaxing. I was a little surprised by the cost of the boat transfer, since it is the only way to get there and seemed to be owned by Hilton. You pay for it coming, going, and by person. That adds up to hundreds of extra euros/dollars outside of your room, food, and excursions. I would have preferred it just being included in the overall price of the hotel. We did use the services of the spa and it was excellent. Outside of price, my biggest negative was that I did kill a large roach that ran across my room, but I realize it's a tropical climate... Outside of that incident, the rooms were clean and large.
Too many mistakes
We booked our room as early as in Jan, and I sent an email to confirm that we will take the ferry at 14:30 from the Bel Ombre jetty, the Hilton returned my email confirming all the details, so we arrived at the jetty at 14:00. However, we waited until 15:00 and the boat is still not departing, we asked the staff and they told us that the boat schedule changed last week from 14:30 to 15:45! So we waste a 2 full hour of our vacation waited pointlessly at the jetty doing nothing. I raised the issue of the ferry schedule to a front desk staff, and they were sorry about it and provided us complimentary room service, which was nice, but again, if you do not make mistakes, there's no need to make up for it. Our luggage didn't arrive at our room until an hour after our arrival. We booked a 90-minute spa while we were at the jetty and they told us that they only have 7pm available, but when we arrived at the Spa, they told us we can only do a 60-minute spa because the spa is closing at 8pm. We booked dinner at the Grann Kaz, but when we arrived, the restaurant staff told us that they didn't get our reservation and the restaurant is fully booked...Generally, the staffs are friendly, but they are making too much mistakes and lack of inter-department communication made our stay filled with anxiety and uncertainties.
Island in hell
Nothing is aviaisble basically u need to book everything in advance unless u will end up doing nothing None of thectesturant u want is not avaiable and u have book it couple of days ago None of activites u want is avaiable everyday and usually it is fully booked For person who was there four days it was not possiblr to wait until next week in ofder to book the actuvitrs and enjoy it I couldnt do hiking because it was once week and it was already booked Not good service in resturants and whatever u asked for in the bar it usually take foroever I asked for extra plate the guy totally forget and never brought it I asked for spoon thry guy cleaned tables and got other peoles order and went to bar talked to his firend and then brought it volla Transfer was awful since they forget to pick us up from airpot event though i emailed my flight detail morever thryvdid same mistake for transfering us to airport and they didnt arrange car and we had to call cab and wait for 20 min until it shows up 5 in morning Basically they are disorganzied and it is not 5 star hotel they dint have that qualification
The beuty of the tropical nature
Nice villas fully integrated in the beauty of the tropical nature. From the beach you will not see any buildings, you will feel like in a desert island. The 2 km beach is really unique with white sand and calm crystal water. The room are vey nice, spacious and comfortable. The service at the swimming pool coul be improved like the experience in the various restaurants. Extra and activities are extremely expensive and the price is not really justifiable.
Nice location to beach
I had a very nice experience especially that this kind of beach that I am looking for (white sand and clear water), also the resort is very nice and the villas beach are nearby the sea. but there are some problems regarding the activities to do during your stay, especillay that this resort is the only one in this island: 1) The Seating's in the restaurants and the cruise were not enough, every time I would book a restaurant or a boat, I find it booked? 2) Eco center (Diving services) we had a problem with its manager (a German lady) she was not dealing with us as customers, rather as a dictator who owns here shop and wants to run her only way, and not to please the customer and take care of their needs. We think that this manager of the Eco center should be replaced with someone whom will take care of your future customers, otherwise you will be losing them. The behaviors of this manager stopped our enjoyment of all water sport activities 3) There are no variety of water sport in the resort or the island.
Excellent location
Very nice hotel, but... The prices in all restaurants are too high at Michelin star level but the restaurants are not Michelin star... The hotel uses its monopol position on the island, unfortunately...
We were apprehensive about visiting Silhouette - our favourite island - again, since the last time we were there (2006/7) the island was natural and unspoilt. Have to say the Hilton blends in very sympathetically with the natural surroundings.
Better than expected but.....
This hotel is excellent but could so easily be exceptional. It is a relaxed 4/5* establishment in an outstanding location but it is let down by a lack of adults only space. Our children are grown up and therefore when eating in a restaurant after 9pm I do not wish to spend time with young children. Even if just one restaurant each night on rotation was adults only my rating of the hotel would be exceptional.
Love it! Didn't want to leave
Loved it. This place was so relaxing and the staff were fantastic. It was wonderful. The only thing is that as this is a secluded place you are stuck with what the resort has to offer. No snack for kids etc etc etc.....
I have stayed in the hotel from 25 to 30 Dec 15
The experience was great and I really enjoyed my stay in there
Fantastic luxury!
It is not possible to give an objective review of this hotel due to the completely unbelievable surprise upgrade to the Presidential Suite on arrival. We had booked a Beachfront Villa and were really looking forward to that, but instead we got the Presidential Suite with 500m+ of private beach, private pool, lobby, entertainment house and two massive appartements. Truly a great start to our honeymoon! A couple of things which would have been less than perfect if we had got what we actually paid for would have been the cost of meals and excursions and activities. The food is very good, but overpriced. The buffet in the main restaurant with a single drink is around £60 per person, and the Teppanyaki Restaurant is more than double that. Excursions are also very expensive. Having said that we had a lovely relaxing time and it was just fantastic. The staff are very professional and helpful, and they have clearly got a lot of training in how to work with guests on a truly 5 star resort.
Paradise - good place to recharge and de-stress
The adventure began from the moment the boat left the Hilton reception mooring and headed out to the aptly named Silhouette Island, with a rainforest back drop and the magnificance of mt. Dauban. The beach villa was immaculate with amazing views every morning of the sunrise and turquoise waters. To make your stay pleasurable make sure to take your reef slippers (the coral fragments on the shoreline under bare foot can be hazardous), and collect the tidal sheet from the activity center. The snorkeling during the low tide interludes was excellent. The staff were first rate from the moment we arrived and were always approachable to answer our questions. The breakfast and dinner buffets at the Dauban restaurant with different themes everynight and friendly staff were always a delight. Getting back to work in K.S.A. I feel truly recharged and just dream of my next vacation to the Seycelles.
One week holiday
fantastic! Everywhere marvelous Only one thing I say negatively Food... Is not definitely the same class with resort. And the price of food.. Oh too much
TIME TO RUN AWAY FROM YOUR BUSY LIFE & RELAX!!!!!!
WE WERE THERE WITH OUR 3 KIDS, EVERYONE ENJOYED
Beautiful little island
The resort and spa met all my expectations. It's exactly how it appears in the photographs. The ocean was so blue and perfect for swimming in every day. The spa treatment I received was relaxing and I liked having access to the some of the spa facilities every day. The rooms are a good size and the front desk were helpful any time we needed anything. Most importantly, it was a great place to chill out and escape from the daily stresses of everyday life!
Fabulous to getaway from it all
My 5 friends and I booked the Seychelles early on for our April break. We are all teachers in Doha, Qatar and have many travel experiences and different opinions but we all agreed that this hotel was fantastic. Every time I got into the sea, I would turn to look out over the island and say "It's so beautiful." It is truly the most beautiful place I have ever been! I loved that it was away from all the hustle and bustle, very isolated. I loved the quiet and serenity of this place! The water was so crystal clear! The photos that are posted are EXACTLY the way it appears! We had a blast and would do it all over in a heartbeat!
family island get away
Very remote location. Was nice to be close to national park and rainforest as well as beach. Activities at hotel made up for the fact there was no town nearby. Expensive food and beverage menu and no way to buy milk/snacks on the go apart from at the restaurants as there was no corner shop etc apart from the gift shop.
A very relaxed place to be.
It took us a while to get to with taxi ride from the airport plus the 45 minutes boat ride but it's all worth it. The beach is so clean and the sceneries are unreal. If you are looking for a relaxed holiday this is the place to be. But at the same time there are a lot to do as well. Since the hotel is on the island so everything is brought up there from the mainland. We found the food and drinks are pricy. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Overall we had a great time and would like to go back there one day.
Amazing property!
-Excellent hotel in a dream location -Had a pool beach villa, absolutely amazing -Good maintenance, pool chemistry well tuned, high quality bed, amazing bathroom, large -BUT: Service is a tad slow and they forgot that we are on honeymoon
Beautiful beach vacation in every way
Everything we imagined it would be Quiet, clean, great room, beautiful scenery, super attentive and very competent staff. Could not ask for any more from a vacation spot.
Stunning location
I stayed with my husband and 2 sons aged 3 and 5 months. The Hilton Labriz was fantastic, beautiful setting on a stunning beach. Great service, staff were very friendly and great with children. Although a fantastic romantic honeymoon destination, as a family we were made to feel very welcome and the kids loved it. The hotel drinks and food are expensive but that seems to be the same everywhere in the Seychelles. Would highly recommend.
Great place but very expensive
This place is very nice but also equally expensive. We had half board (breakfast and dinner) because I thought we wouldn't need to spend a lot on lunch and would want to travel out and about. Forget it - don't do anything other than full board. The island has no where else for you to eat and getting off the island is a monumental and expensive task. We ended up spending a $100 a day on lunch. The only exception would be if you planned on eating a late breakfast and an early dinner everyday. Then you could skip lunch. The food by the way is really great. There is a wide variety - plenty of it - and all prepared well. You do have to make 'reservations' at one of the hotels restaurants which can be a little frustrating (after all you are on vacation) but once you get past that its fun. We ate at all the restaurants and didn't have one bad experience. In terms of 'things to do' on the island. You can definitely stay busy for a week. We scuba divided and that kept us busy. As an aside the nearby waters while they are pleasant to be in and very clear - there isn't a lot of large fish to see. The onside dive shop is spotting in terms of service - some really good people but mostly in experience young people who act like you're intruding on their party. The beaches here are very stunning! You could spend all your time on the beach and be very happy!!! It is postcard perfect. We stayed at a beach villa with a private pool - I can't recommend that enough. Wonderful room!
fabulous
Fabulous resort and very freindly staff and managment. Do not miss the Asian restaurant.
Beach villa been all round world be hard to beat
Relaxing which we wanted stress free but still done excursions make sure you return back to airport on helicopter
Weekend at Hilton Labriz
A getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We found meals expensive and thought the catch of the day, a local fish, was poor value as compared to imported produce. We would highly recommend the hotel
A truly amazing hotel, location and service
Tranquil location of the hotel on the Island. This is one of the only few hotels in Seychelles which have individual cabins (rooms) located right on the beach. If you are looking for a relaxing, serene and picturesque holiday then this is the place to be. Private coral beach, luxurious rooms and mountain backdrop is truly surreal. There are a few excursions from the island including fishing and trekking through the jungle of the island to other unspoiled locations to snorkel or see the giant tortoises. If you are looking for deep-sea fishing or other adventurous activities then I would recommend going to the main Island (Mahe). The beauty of the Seychelles is in its unspoiled nature, beautiful islands and friendly people; Hilton has done a very good job of maintaining all them and then also provide a 5 star service.
Fantastic
Great service in what was a difficult time for us....
Superb quality in fantastic settings
We had a 12-night stay and enjoyed every minute!
We've had a fantastic time. Hotel villas are comfortable and spacious, staff very friendly, the island is like a tropical paradise, and beaches are fantastic. The only thing we've missed is the wow effect we'd expect from Hilton at this price point.
Great hotel that blends with the nature around it.
The hotel blends perfectly with it's surrounding. We could experience the beauty of the Seychelles without compromising the luxury of a 5 star hotel. Rooms were big and discrete. Staff was amazing. Always smiling and ready to make our stay a wonderful experience. I strongly recommend this hotel. They should however extend the timing if the pool restaurant and keep it opened also for dinner.
Amaaaziiiiiiiiing!
My wife and I spent 2 nights in this hotel after 3 in The Kempenski Mahe and Hilton was an absolutely wonderful experience. The beach villas (worth every penny) open directly on the beach and you can even sleep to the sound of the waves! The villa is very spacious, comfortable and modern. The staff is very professional, polite and helpful. The resort has many activities (bicycle rentals, fitness center, kids club, scuba diving, etc..) The breakfast had a real large choice and the live egg station was very quick to serve the guests. It also is conveniently served till 11am. Overall, THIS is the place to be in Seychelles! PS: the 45mns boat ride to and from the hotel can get quiet bumpy and uncomfortable so you might want to consider anti sickness pills!
good
very good , unforgettable experience , i would recommend to all people thinking of going on a nice relaxing honeymoon
Perfection
We are young, high-end world travelers with fair but tough standards of evaluation. Our experience at the Hilton Labriz was excellent. We intended to stay 1 week but everything was so perfect that we left for 3 nights to La DIgue / Praslin and then returned for an additional 4 nights. Although there are over 100 villas, you feel as if there is virtually no one. The beach is wonderful, very large, with fine white sand and beautiful sunrises, and empty. The food was surprisingly good. We ate most often in the small restaurants (vs. the buffet). The breakfast buffet was excellent. Service generally was very professional and with a personal touch. Be sure to get a beachfront villa or your experience may not be the same. I'm not a big fan of Hilton and was not aware that they could accomplish a true 5 star level of satisfaction. We recommend Labriz without hesitation.
Beautiful location, beautiful resort.
Very relaxing holiday in a stunning location, the villa was very comfortable and exactly what we expected. The resort staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.
Ideal place to relax
Labriz resort is an ideal place to relax, picture perfect beaches, room facilities are excellent, most amazing bathroom, food choices from the 5 restaurants were excellent. Service also to very high standard
Great hotel
It was a great stay! Enjoyed a lot! Beautiful location. They checked us in early as our flight landed at 7 am. We checked out early too. Food was very expensive. Ferry ride was horrible because of the choppy sea, the ferry crew was great. The service was great though. Very helpful people. Hussain was a gem. From check in to check out, they provided exceptional service.
Watch out for sneaky over pricing
Went for my honeymoon, booked a private beach front villa with pool. The room lived up to expectations albeit the beach view is hidden by large trees; acceptable in the name of privacy. The room itself was amazing although as others have suggested in their reviews. WIFI/Net coverage/speeds are poor at best. But if you're not able to connect to your router in the first place, ask for IT (best staff on island). l thought I was prepared by purchasing a local SIM for my unlocked phone, but cellular coverage on Silhouette island is relegated to the reception and breakfast restaurant areas only. Excepted 0 connectivity in your room 75% of the time. That said, it could be a blessing, since newly weds really shouldn't be wasting time on the net during their honeymoon... word to the wise, prepare all your media related entertainment before getting to Seychelles and you'll be fine. Beaches are pristine, but make sure you bring some water shoes to help with the rocks you'll find all over the water and your villa beach. The only real complaint I have is that the staff tends to play dumb a lot when informing you about activity and restaurant pricing. Most single person meals are enough to feed two people, so if you're looking to spend less than $300 on a meal for two, I suggest order an appetizer or two and a single main dish for two people. Also note that the butlers speak a terrible version of both english & french and I'm not referring to creole. Buyer Beware!!
A great getaway
Our experience was terrific. Our villa was right on the beach. It was beautiful and relaxing. We were there during the low season so it was nice to have the resort not very full. Only major complaint is that guests were permitted to smoke everywhere on the resort which made it quite difficult for us nonsmokers to be able to enjoy it all.
Lovely peaceful private island resort!
Location of this hotel is the magical silhouette island - wonderful surrounding landscapes and access to great beaches at our doorstep. The spa treatment was wonderful - best ive ever had. Great buffets too. Good quality and prompt service when requested. Unfortunately room kept becoming quite hot overnight (?not sure what happened to AC), but otherwise had a great stay for our honeymoon.
Paradise, no other word for the resort.
Only complaint was that the staff have obviously been told by the management to ask the customer every 5 mins if they are happy, very, very annoying. Let the customer enjoy the surroundings, the excellent service and wonderful views please. If unhappy I am sure the customer will raise a complaint. PS did not understand the need for a free nightly gift, nice but waste of money in our view. Spend money on internet upgrade.
Amazing Hotel and Location
The hotel was perfect and location was amazing!
Holiday in Paradise
What a place! Pure Paradise. My husband and I spent 6 nights for our 20th anniversary here, it was wonderful. Many, many thanks to the amazing staff who made sure that we were relaxed and happy during the entire length of our stay. On the day of our anniversary we dined in the Sakura restaurant. We were made to feel very special and our evening was completed with a surprise anniversay cake made for us and presented by the head chef. The restaurant manageress had arranged the surprise and ensured that we had a wonderful table on the verranda with a sea view. The star constellation was amazing... including the moon with an amazing orange halo. We had a deluxe beachfront pool villa. It was stunning! The room was cleaned thoroughly daily by a great housekeeping team. For a relaxed holiday to unwind and love... this is the place.
Silhouette
It was a great experience my wife and I as honeymooners loved it!!
Rough around the edges
The island itself is absolutely stunning - breathtaking natural beauty. The resort is a little tired in some respects, and the service hit and miss. Some staff were excellent, and others were nonchalant and a bit miserable. If you are looking for true 5* luxury this isn't the resort for you, as is. But the beautiful surroundings go some way to make up for this. I hope you like spiders....
Paradise
The images on the Expedia website simply do not reflect just how beautiful this resort is, it is paradise.
Beautiful hotel & spa, great staff, stunning beach
The resort itself is really beautiful. The villas strike the perfect balance between rustic charm and all the comforts of a 5 star hotel. The beach is spectacular - endless, flawless and safe, which is important in an area which has both strong currents and sharks. The hotel bar is also really nice, with a great barman (Igor). But there are a few issues that this hotel should sort out as soon as possible. First of all, internet access is almost non-existent. There is only one laptop in the hotel bar that is at customers' disposal, and the connectivity is really, really poor. I often spent twenty minutes just waiting to log on, only to be booted out. This is really not good enough for a resort of that size and class. And when I asked to borrow the computers at the reception, I was told that this was against hotel policy. One of the ladies who works there very kindly fetched her own personal computer and let me use it (Darshini - please take a bow here!), but this really shouldn't be necessary. And not everyone will be lucky enough to meet her in their hour of need. Secondly, the value for money food-wise is not very good. The food is very expensive given what it is (except in the Asian restaurant, where the food was of such hich quality that I didn't mind the high prices). Basics really should not cost that much. After leaving this resort I went to the much more expensive Four Seasons. Their food was not only consistenly vastly superior, but also cheaper! So please take note!
No guarantees & no details
The hotel and Expedia did not guarantee connecting rooms, and did not try to resolve the problem separating our family between 2 villas (which they describe as 2 'rooms'). Very disappointed from that and also little things like not having enough towels at pool area and actually running out of clean beer glasses. Details like those disappoint the expectations of a 5* hotel stay. We also lost half of the first day waiting 2+ hours for Jetty transport to the island.
heavenly place-must visit to feel beachfront villa
island itself is such a wonderful place ..best thing is they have kept the natural look and feel of island as it is and develop the villa's and spa on it as require.... many untouched beaches ...crystal clear water ... and nice and warm staff :) ...we had beachfront villa ...and when we entered the villa we were amazed with the look and feel ...its interior is awesome ..enjoyed the open shower in the villa and most amazing spot was our bed we can see sunrise from our bed ....beach was 5-10 feet close we use to keep our door open whole night to hear waves and nature sound ..ahead sea and behind forest :) and also use to wake fresh @ sunrise ....awesome awesome and awesome .. I can keep writing about the experience we had .....also hilton had kept it so well ...good work! Must go! Specially recommend for Honeymoon ;)
Blackstone is very greedy
Hotel was great and room excellent. View and surrounding unbeatable. However, charges were very intransparent. You really feel this hotel is owned by a PE firm that is trying to squeeze every penny out of their customers.
Great Island resort
We went here for our honeymoon. It was the perfect location for one, being on a laid back and isolated island in seychelles. The island is very beautiful and calm with pristine beaches and the hotel facilities are excellent. The staff made us feel welcome and were very co-operative. They went out of the way to accommodate our special vegetarian diet requirements. Overall, a great stay and a must visit resort
Perhaps the best place to stay in Seychelles
My experience at the Hilton Labriz was just fantastic. Starting with the room, the Beach front villa was just perfect for me and my wife to enjoy the beauty of the nature and sea. The staff at the Hilton especially the Indians were just awesome and they made my stay a very comfortable experience. Special thanks to Prashant, Babu and Udaya who where there for everything I needed. The food was aweomse, the water activities at the eco center were the best. Overall, my honeymoon at the Hilton Labriz was the best. I would highly recommend it to people from all over the world to go there and experience paradise.
Paradiset

Beautiful, clean and very friendly staff. The only improvement I would suggest is having autonomy of the air conditioning. It was quite hot in the room and the ac was on an auto, which meant it wasnt cold enough.
