Very convenient location; clean rooms
Comfortable stay
Not the warmest reception. Room was spacious and clean. I was given a free upgrade to a suite which was great. Room was warm
Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely hotel very close to euston station. Lovely big room and massive bed. Only down side awful pillows
Wonderful hotel. Very well located. Clean and quiet!
Terrible customer service from check in to check out. Not a single smile or welcoming attitude from all the men at the front desk. Felt like I inconvenienced them by checking and checking out. Overall I understand the ratings for the hotel and chose it based on location thinking it was the area I wanted to be in. The area is noisy due to a busy street and foot traffic. The room was not clean, shower floors were filthy. The room itself is quite small and no room to spread out luggage despite having a luggage rack. The bathroom is tiny with minimal counter space for personal toiletries. With the size of the room, the interior design and furniture was more of a hinderance and not very functional. When I checked in and throughout my day, I noticed housekeeping had a bag of rubbish sitting in the hallways for hours. I’ve seen trays of in room dining sitting out for more than a day. The bed is hard. Not much amenities with the exception of standard kettle, coffee/tea and biscuits. To be frank, I could actually go into full detail why this place missed the mark and hotel rating should be lowered.
Good place to stay
Really comfy bed very convenient location for Euston station and long cross. The bed was really comfortable and staff were very friendly
Very close to Euston station which was a plus for our travels
many bugs in room
100 meters from Euston train/bus station . Surrounded by multiple restaurants and cafes . The thermostat in our suite did not function properly , so it was always way too warm .
Decent quality hotel great location.
Original room allocated was not made up when I opened the door. Cooked breakfast not hot enough, even the portage was luke warm.
Last minute stay
After a horrible day of travel from the US we decided to make a last minute stay near Euston before traveling north by train. The rating of 4 stars is based on age of hotel. The room was clean, housekeeping brought up the extra bed for our daughter quickly and the beds were very comfortable. At check in they asked if we wanted a “quiet” room off the Main Street. Of course being in the city we heard some sirens but overall it was quiet! Slept like a baby!
Pleasure
I always enjoy staying at this hotel. The staff are all helpful and friendly. Any issues or concerns I had were all resolved quickly and professionally.
The Hilton Hotel is in a perfect location for transportation links, situated just a 5 minute walk from Euston Train station, and surrounded by various bus links and alternative transportation. The staff were wonderful, very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Moreover, the hotel had a lovely historical charm of its own, with superior rooms and service. Highly recommend this hotel, and looking forward to my next visit.
We had a hotels.com booking confirmation and payment receipt and they were prepared to turn us away as they could not find us in their system. After finding a hotels. Com rep we finally got another number which showed us. Checked in not even an apology. Felt they did not care/listen and this was poor.
Staff was awesome
Massimo Fragetta made our stay unforgettable. He was responsive, welcoming, always professional and friendly and made sure we were taken care of from the time we arrived until we checked out. The Front Desk staff, the Lounge and Bar staff, the Maintenance Staff, the Housekeeping staff and the Room Service staff were all amazing and I am so appreciative for their attention. I will be visiting London again and will only stay at the Hilton London Euston.
Nahhhhh
Ok but tired and dated Hairs in bathroom, stains in sheets
all okay
all okay as usual !
Nice and convenient
Very nice hotel, but the noise from movement, speaking in the hallway and the road can impact. Not a fault of the hotel, but more due to the age and style of the building.
If you want something a bit off of the tourist, heavy traffic areas, this is your place. Clean , bright, easy walk to Euston stations and close to a Pret a Manger. Everyone had a bed and service was great! Highly recommend. Close to British museum and British library, as well as Charles Dickens museum.
Great hotel in central London
Very small rooms. The shower dripped on th bathroom floor. Pillows were uncomfortable
A very dated Hilton, needs renovating or atleast a deep clean. Reminiscent of a Wetherspoon. AC didn’t work, helpful staff moved us to another room but overall the stay was not great. A lot of loud banging of fire doors outside of rooms as they close. Convenient for Euston station though.
Rooms were too small for the price point; basically what this hotel has going for it was it’s location to a rail transportation hub; while the hotel is in decent shape, the building is old and could benefit from a complete renovation
Staffs are very friendly and provided out standing customer service! Thank you.
Not the best Hilton can do
Not the best Hilton can do. Staff very polite, eager, try hard but not well trained by management. They deserve more
Bedroom was totally unsuitable. If you opened curtains in the room you saw an adjacent function room immediately on the other side of the glass. As a consequence they couldn’t be opened. There was no natural light. Bathroom was tiny with shower over a small bath. Dining area was too small for the number of residents and tables too close together.
I have stayed here a number of times, this was the easiest and best check in i have encountered. Previously, i have had to register a card to cover any expenses. They have always messed this up by taking more than they should have and then struggled to get it back. This time i refused as i had complained to management. it made the stay very good.
Disappointing
Very disappointing for a Hilton, no rooms available on check in at 3:30, had to wait a further 2hrs, then wasn’t given the room we booked, no temp control in the room or air con, it was 26 degrees the whole time. Staff were not at all bothered or helpful, it was like it was an inconvenience to them. For a well known, supposedly superior hotel group, London Euston Hilton does not follow the same standard.
Highly recommended
Great location. Close to trains/buses/taxis. Huge shoutout to the catering staff who helped put together a surprise birthday party in their beautiful dining room. Special thanks to Veronica who looked after our group! She was professional, charming and so friendly!
2 night stay
The room was ok , staff very helpful , breakfast was really good
The deep tubs to take a shower in are very unsafe. I'm shorter but even my 6'3" husband complained about having to step out. Also the shower head moved around and got water all over the floor
Bathroom lock not working. Phone operator service was poor. It was clean. Breakfast was good. Room was spacious. Hot water issue was there. They settled it snd allowed 1 hour extra time for checkout
Ok
Excellent room that was clean and comfortable. Very convenient to Euston Station and other notable locations in London!
Perfect for a night in London while traveling. Comfortable beds, clean room and walking distance to Euston/KingsCross/St. Pancras stations. Breakfast was also superb.
The staff at the Hilton London Euston were very attentive and accommodating. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Terrible service
I booked the hotel via the app then paid and asked for a proper receipt in the hotel. The hotel staff told me off and asked the app where I booked the hotel to provide a proper receipt myself that isn’t theirs responsibility to provide a receipt to me. I sent a email to them after the Hotels.com have advised me. However I still haven’t heard any responses back from them. Terrible customer service. Won’t even recommend to anyone.
Was super disappointed that this room cost £200 pound for a night, and we has a boiling hot room air con was not working. I only found out it wasnt working when I rang and asked. I asked for a fan but the room temp was rising! Also locates right outside ice machine not a great location when the bar tender is filling up a bucket of ice! Ask to speak to manager about the room temp noone contacted me. Only blessing was early check in and late check out room was decent but not what I would expect for hilton.
Not bad. Staff are ok not super happy about anything but perfectly cordial. Gym is decent enough for a workout. But way too hot 24c is ridiculous Breakfast is solid plenty of options and alternative options Room feels dated by the carpet, bed was clean and comfortable, pillows were soft. Walls or the door are a little thin Bathroom like many in the U.K. was small and had a terrible layout. Toilet is too high and uncomfortable even for me a 6ft guy I felt like I was on tiptoes while sitting. Sink area is small with no counter space for your toiletries. The shower door was crammed in behind the sink with very little room to get to it. a sliding door would be better. The safe broke while I had items inside and the staff spent almost 2 hours drilling out the lock. So not ideal but they handled it. Overall worked fine as a clean comfortable place to sleep and fuel up for the day.
Great
a bit old but generally good
a bit old but generally good
Location is great. Staff very good
Great location. Attractive building, well modernized. Staff very helpful. But the hotel needs a ramp, both for accessibility and to help guests who are struggling with luggage.
Over for the weekend in London, easy to find and close to train and the be stations. Staff were very friendly and helpful
This was not up to the standard expected of a Hilton charging nearly £300 per night. The room was spacious and clean but extremely hot and the air conditioning did nothing over 5 days to cool it down. The restaurant was gloomy and seemed incapable of managing diners allergies - a friend allergic to garlic was told there was nothing on the menu she could eat; another coeliac was told everything was fried in the same oil so could not be isolated. Not good enough
Staff gave excellent service in a professional and kindly way
Bad hotel
The room was so over heated I couldn’t turn the temperature down. There was a fan left the room. I think the heating control in the room was broken down. I called reception who said will turn temperature down but made no difference. Worst is my room was looking into a restaurant with full length window floor to ceiling. I couldn’t open the curtains. The room is not satisfactory for time money I paid. The paint on doors was coming off.
Excellent location, comfy beds
All good apart from check-in where the receptionist, when handing over the room key cards wrote the cost of breakfast on the card carrier and said how much it was etc. I informed her I booked the stay including breakfast which she amended on her system… Very clean hotel, comfy beds, good staff and an excellent location. Would consider staying again.
the room looked newly refurbishes, clean nice bathroom and very spacious.
The pretty conservatory, the centrepiece of the hotel, is now reserved for commercial hire. The guests are consigned to the basement for breakfast. Shoddy treatment by Hilton.
Great location to Euston Station. Hotel in very good condition and AC works well. Parking situation not great for those with cars.
A fantastic central London Hotel
I delivered a 3 days course from the Hilton plus stayed over to do so. From check in to check out the staff could not have been more diligent. The breakfast staff are truly amazing and made me feel at home - thank you. The staff running the conference centre went above and beyond - thank you. From front of house to housekeeping i experienced only polite, helpful staff. Thank you Hilton Euston for a thoroughly enjoyable experience
Wonderful loxation
Accidentally connected to chargeable wifi. After taking to the front desk they promised to reverse the charge
Rude and in Disrepair
Staff were rude and uninformed, both to me, and to each other. The place is rundown and I woke up up a leak dripping down on my sink.
As expected
The hotel is very nice as you would expect from Hilton. However, some out dated maintenance seems lacking. The first night the noise on top floor was very load it prevent me from sleeping, I think it was ventilation system. The staff was very nice and offered another room on first floor.
Close to Euston Station
Nice hotel convenient for London Eustion, Kings Cross and St Pancras stations. Nice room, comfy bed, good choice for breakfast. Only stayed one night but would definitely stay again
We stated in this hotel for 10 nights. The room is clean and the cleaning ladies always clean in time. The location is pretty good near to British museum and many good restaurants.
This hotel is close to the train station. But there is not that much restaurants and bars near the hotel.
Rooms were a good size - we had two triple rooms through Expedia. Although they were the same price, one was noticeable larger than the other. They were full and had no more rooms so nothing we could do. No issue with cleanliness. Hotel is convenient to St Pancras, which is why we stayed there. Good dining options close by, British Library, Lightbox art gallery. If you have mobility issues, there are about 8 steps to enter the hotel. Not sure if there’s a friendlier entrance? Staff - called the front desk a few times and phone just kept ringing. Slight problem communicating because Eng was not their first language. No help was offered with our bags when coming and going up and down those stairs, even though I was obviously struggling. Safety - area’s not bad, just use your common sense. Not sure if they had a photo of guests on their computers, but the annoyingly 2 times our cards were demagnetised, the front desk never asked for ID or proof I was actually a guest in the room I was asking a key for. They just handed over a new key for the rooms I asked for, no Q’s asked. Convenient for me but I could’ve been anyone? Expedia policies- I didn’t need the second room for the second night but was unable to cancel it, even with a a lot of notice. To do this I had to completely cancel my booking and rebook, but I couldn’t be promised I’d get a room bc they were full. Silly I couldn’t release the room. If they were that full I’m sure they’d have no problem filling it.
Overall, it was a great stay. The only thing was that the air conditioning unit put in our room was industrial size so it was very loud.
Excellent
Heat would not turn off, thermostat was broken. Front desk staff was extremely unhelpful and and completely ignored the problem forcing us to leave the property. Other guests were at the front desk experiencing the same problem.
Pretty place and more convenient than expected. AC broken, windows didn't open, no fan even in bathroom...probably 95 degrees inside.
No air conditioning!
The air conditioning wasn’t working in the rooms. There were no fans. The room temperature was over 30c. Totally unacceptable and impossible to sleep. It wasn’t fixed after two days and the staff told me that this is normal,
Hot without A/C
Not a place to stay in the summer months. The air conditioning though out the hotel, at least in all of the guest rooms, did not work for at least a week. There were not enough fans for most of the guests, and the hotel staff, though friendly, seemed to have no power to resolve the issue. With no air con and 30+ degree (celsius) days, it made for an uncomfortable stay.
This hotel is in a great location located near the metro stations and plenty of buses. Besides its location, this hotel is horrible. We stayed in a room for 10 days with a view of a wall. We kept the curtains closed the entire time. There are little black flies all over the bathroom living on the towels. Very gross. The plumbing is horrible. We couldnt use the sink for anything. The water doesnt go down. We had to wash our face and brush our teeth every morning in the bathtub. When we complained, they removed the plug… which did absolutely nothing. Ironing board was broken and told the guy at the desk only for him to tell us to go to the room and call housekeeping. They had a fire at the hotel and the fire alarms were blaring at 530am. We grabbed our belongings and ran down the stairs outside. No one from the hotel came to tell any guests outside what happened. Half of the hotel is standing outside freezing and no one came out to tell us to come back in. We had to approach them at the front desk only for them to tell us it was a false alarm but there were water stains on the ceiling in the room later in the evening. Interesting! We asked on multiple occasions for them to replenish the shower gel in the bath. They never did. This place is worse than a Motel 6. Nothing like other Hilton brand hotels. There are other hotels in the area if you’re looking to be close to St. Pancras and the metro. Do yourself a favor, and dont stay here!
Expensive hotel in the area so was expecting better service. The breakfast was average and ac in the room was weak.
Good basic hotel. Don’t expect the usual Hilton standard here.
Nice Hotel
Lovely hotel centrally based, rooms where clean and comfortable, but noisy especially the air conditioning unit which made sleep difficult, but was needed because of the hot day and niight
Located in a very nice neighborhood with multiple good restaurants and close to the tube lines
Needs Work
The Hotel was clean yet dated however the bathroom was well presented and the water pressure and water temp was something to be desired, The sleeping arrangements was adequate but comfortable
When we first arrived our room was different from what we requested, they changed it while we were out. They stored our bags before we left, the breakfast was fine. The standard was good and price was reasonable. No complaints.
Worst Hilton ever
The worst Hilton in the entire chain Avoid at all costs
The Hilton London Euston is very affordable, and for that one should expect some concessions. The rooms are quite small, with only the essentials. Our ground-floor room had a strong sewer gas smell in the bathroom and our children's room had a continually running toilet. Not deal-breakers, since we were just using the rooms to sleep, but did detract from the experience.
Good location for my first time In London
Beautiful property. Thank you.
Great stay
Price high for this standard of hotel..
Convenient clean and pleasant staff
Disappointing for the price
Paint peeling on the door. Insects in the bathroom. Tv that didn’t work. One small bar of lavender soap in the bathroom. But the food was nice, staff were friendly and beds were comfortable.
Great location. Convenient to subways, train station, great food.
Lovely hotel
The room was sufficient and comfortable. Very soft linens. Awkward to blow dry one’s hair due to limited location of outlets. The toiletries were replaced daily which was wasteful since we were there for a week. Great location to underground and other transportation. Loved that the front desk was able to lend me a strong umbrella on the one rainy day.
The room was small and not very special. Breakfast items were running out and not being replenished very quickly. It seemed like they were under staffed.
We were given a room on the second floor directly across from construction on the other side of the street. The room was extremely warm and even with the thermostat all the way down the temp didn’t change. We had to sleep with the window open to cool off but that just doubled the noise. We were only there 2 nights so changing rooms was more of a pain than it was worth. When we told them at the front desk they did offer to move rooms but that was it. No food voucher or complimentary meal no other gesture. We also booked a car through the front desk for the airport that was 35 minutes late arriving. Overall a mediocre experience
I was put in a disabled room where the bathroom was for someone in a wheel chair and the toilet was too high also when someone closed the door downstairs which I believe was the kitchen it was so loud the bed moved
Very nice and comfortable breakfast was very nice
Great location adjacent to Ruston station but could not store luggage for honors members for several days
This Hilton hotel is in a great location, minutes walk from Euston station and also Kings cross or Russel square station are a short walk. Staff was friendly and always there to help. Hotel is old but clean. The only thing that didn’t work was our room keys, but staff at reception quickly fixed that problem. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay there again.
Great location especially vis a vis Euston Station as a travel hub. However, I was not happy that the hotel did not have (in room dining) room service and was told I had to order in the bar and pick up myself. When traveling with a wife an daughter not cool. I ended up having to go out myself and get food and bring back to the hotel. The other issue I was not impressed with is that we asked if we could store two of our large suitcases at the hotel for two nights prior to our five night stay with the hotel in London. They told us no they could not which to me was a massive negative. Made our weekend so much more inconvenient as we are on a long trip and had many bags. Poor service and a lost opportunity.
Perfect location, but pricey.
Functional hotel, great location for Euston station.
Shower room was beautiful. Shower was poor. No power and flow
Clocks
A clock in the room would be useful Situated well for underground
Much better than expected. Friendly staff, neat rooms, perfect location.
Limpio y espacioso
Buen hotel. Nada especial, pero es cómodo y limpio. Desayuno pudiera mejorar. Habitaciones espaciosas, limpio. Bonito no es. Localización conveniente.
Friendly and helpful staff, spacious room, comfy bed and pillows, great location close to the subway and trail stations.
The room was small but clean and comfortable. They nicely managed to accomadate everything a room needed in the small space. The staff were polite and really helpful. The cocierge was so kind to bring soap to our door himself when we ran out of it after hours.
