Ugh...

This was my second stay and both times there were issues with toiletries being stocked. This time the bed smelled dirty, like men's cologne and sweat..yuck! I will not be coming back.

We liked how it was clean, modern & conveniently located. The check in clerk was nice and helpful We didn’t like how we were charged $10 to park while there was not sufficient parking. Vehicles were parked in the lanes and anywhere they could eke out a spot while some vehicles parked there looked like they haven’t moved in ages. We also didn’t like the scratchy sheets and the very grumpy overnight clerk

Only issue is that I think it’s very unfair that patrons now have to Pay for parking at their hotel that you have reserved a room at. No hotel today give the patron anything free.

I had a great, quick stay at the Hilton Garden Inn.

Shower had dirty towels on floor, bed sheets were messed up. Old room keys and other trash on the dresser.

The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was delicious. I will definitely stay here again.

The first floor is under construction so I couldn’t stay on the first floor which is why I didnt give property condition as excellent.

Charging for parking is outrageous

Close proximity to the airport is nice so if you needed to you could walk, but the shuttle is nice to have

The staff were very polite and helpful. The hotel is going through renovations, so there is much dust, paper covering the carpet, etc. There was no thermostate in my room to control the temperature, and housekeeping had left some used towels in the closet which was less than inviting. The bathroom seemed clean; the bed and hallways much less so.

Front desk staff headed for greatness as they absolutely get service and deliver. Food fantastic--the smash burger with a great pile of fries was an unexpected culinary delight, especially accompanied by decent local IPAs. All at decent prices. The wait staff at the bar was exceptional. Right on the airport, 30 seconds to the parking garage at the airport. A great gem for overnights prior to early morning flights. This property is an overlooked gem.

No electricity for hours and hours. They did not have a backup generator. Terrible! I want a full refund.

Nice staff ....working hard

Shower control fell off into the tub before I could regulate the temperature. Floor tile next to toilet was broken and made a breakout g sound each time the bathroom was used.

Andrew, the manager was wonderful! Our flight was cancelled and this was last minute!! He was so gracious anc welcoming. Room was great! Larger than most! Bar and dining area great anc food delicious!! And hot complimentary cookies to boot!! Would recommend highly!!

Always stay here the night before early, early morning clights

Nice easy and convenient to the airport. Lobby smells great. Cookies and infused water when you check in. We left easy and the staff was right on top of asking if we needed a shuttle to the airport. I have never been disappointed at this location.

Never got there missed our flight they never refunded me when I called I was on hold for an hour and they hung up on me

So happy to stay close to the airport, shuttle on over in the morning and leave my car for way less than it would have cost in airport parking. Super convenient. The room is clean, comfortable and quiet. Had a nice dinner at the bar and the staff has been friendly, and knowledgeable. I don’t love traveling alone so will be my go to whenever I have to.

Musty smell mold in bathroom arm chair stained tv not working wi fi and tv only if you registered for membership which was free but required personal info Looks like remodeling was starting but not soon enough desk staff said most people don’t watch TV anyway . Maintenance guy Scott was nice and finally came up and fixed tv. Great location but not worth price would not stay again

Property is under renovation. We had a running leak in the bathroom. The floor was soaked. Had a 4am shuttle to the airport so just put all available towels down. Upon check out the woman at the front deck seemed totally non interested in any issue. Limited hot water also at 3am

If you’re going to charge for a breakfast buffet, it needs to be better quality. If it was free I wouldn’t complain. I got free-breakfast quality, at a not-free price. Unfortunately this was the only convenient option. Other than that, zero complaints.

The receptionist was not personable and rooms had a musky smell.

They do have a shuttle for the short commute to the Jetport. On site bar and food are good, but full service restaurants are a short drive away. (Partially) renovated guest rooms are nicely appointed

We had a great stay! Adam G went above and beyond for us. We explained what happened before getting to the Hilton. We can’t wait to stay here again! Thank you Adam and staff for making a crappy night much better!

No unexpected surprises.

Air conditioning didn’t work well but it was manageable. I like the closeness to airport. Room needs updating! It was quiet!

The negative was the bathroom. Mold along the tube and the bottom half of the shower curtain. Other than Thant good staff excellent

I didn’t like the fact that I had to pay to park at the hotel. I think that if I stay at your establishment that the parking should be free. Unless I’m leaving my vehicle and going on a trip then it’s fair to charge. I think the prices are high enough to stay that paying to park is overkill. Have always liked staying here. It’s clean, very comfortable and the staff are helpful. But $10 a night to park, not happening, I’ll stay at a different hotel.

Andrew and Melissa were fantastic. The room was ok overall, but the microwave was filthy and the window covering had a large stain that looked like coffee all over it.

Senior Unfriendly at its Finest

Hilton Garden Inn is the perfect example of a "senior unfriendly" hotel. Overpriced, understaffed and unclean facilities. Only positive was proximity to Portland, Maine airport.

I requested and received a nice firm mattress. We slept very well and appreciated the customer service. Our check in was a little rough, after 11 pm at night and with a less than customer oriented front desk person. When we got in our room we noticed Advil pills scattered around the room which made us question how week it has been vacuumed. The morning front desk person was very nice and overall we would stay here again.

The staff were friendly and clean room

The person who checked me in was wonderful. My room was clean, but the bathroom mirror and frame had toothpaste spit on it and there was hair in the tub drain. Yuck!

Convenient to airport. Decor is getting a little tired.

It seems like there should have been two people at the front desk. The phone kept ringing while he was trying to check us in.

The stay was good but the park and fly was not worth it. When we landed after a long day of travel we had to call the hotel multiple times to get anyone to pick up the phone. Then had to call three times and request a ride, leaving us waiting at the airport for over 45 minutes. I don’t think we will pay for this service again.

You can see the terminal building of PWM from the parking lot. Airport is 2 minute drive away. Room was clean and comfortable.

Fine but dated

The hotel was fine but it really needs a refresh. The decor was worn and dated. I think it undermines the brand of Hilton.

Cleanliness lacking

The shower curtain was dirty along the hem. The air vent in the bathroom was filthy. The easy chair was soiled. The pillows and bed were comfy.
