This place is wonderful
This was a great stay clean and reasonable rooms for a great price
Comfy Stay!
Great hotel with great service. Our only dislike was the “restaurant” was a cafeteria where you ordered on a kiosk and picked up your food at a counter. If you’re not looking for a sit-down restaurant, then this would be a great place!
Fridge was broke couldn't save my leftovers or cool my water
I really enjoyed my stay at Hilton Garden Inn. The staff was friendly and responsive, I loved the Dead Rabbit, the pub nearby, and it was quiet, safe, and clean.
Very nice location, we were comfortable and the property was extremely accommodating from check in to check out. Thank you!
My husband and I loved staying at the hotel. It is a quiet, safe place, and the staff provides great customer service. The dinner cook makes delicious eggs. Polite staff. It was a great experience, since it was our first time in New York. We highly recommend it.
Perfect location for my stay.
Nice
Excellent
Good
Very clean, centric and affordable price
The staff made the stay enjoyable. Very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is clean and well located in the financial district. The walls are thin and I question the reason for having a noisy ice machine out in the lobby found literally in front of other rooms. Light sleepers will hear noise from the lobby and street level. Recommended for the location and price.
The rooms need to be updated. Overall seemed clean. Very close to the subway.
Nice, clean hotel. Staff was warm and welcoming. Easy checkin and checkout
Martin & Laura was very accommodated to my family and myself.
This was our first time in NYC. This location is nice if you don’t want to be in the bustle of Times Square. Lots of great dining options! Easy access to the subway, Staten Island ferry, and the Statue of Liberty, and easily walkable too. Staff was always helpful and accommodating. There was of course outside construction noise, but it’s NYC, so that’s to be expected.
Great place overall
We didn’t like the cafeteria which closes at 1:30 pm. Otherwise great spot. We enjoyed taking the FREE Staton Island Ferry and enjoyed Faunces Tavern.
I requested a one king bedroom and got two queens where the space was limited, and also it was hard to take shower due the shower was getting extremely hot and then going to cold without moving the lever, really bad.
All good. Well priced and very convenient location
Staff were incredibly helpful and overall property was really clean. Overall, a really comfortable stay :)
liked that it was near Statue of Liberty ferry and Staten Island ferry. Convenient restaurants inside and nearby.
All fine , but it’s really strange - have no bottled water in room . Have coffee machine but have no water . One bottle coast 3$ on reception. Weird, because water from sink have strong chlorine smell, maybe it’s drinkable for someone , but come on , it’s a hotel for more than 100$ for night , and have no bottles .
The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay!
It was overall good except one incident that we faced. At night someone started shouting at lobby and in his room. We were quite afraid and tried to reach front desk. The phone in room was not working and no one in front desk literally received the call. I had to go to the front desk and they took a long time to resolve the problem. It was not efficient.
We stayed here to keep away from the hustle and bustle and we are so glad we did! It’s right next to a subway station that takes you right into midtown in 20-25 mins. It’s only a 10-15 minute walk to WTC and the Oculus where has plenty of shops and places to eat. There aren’t as many places right near the hotel which didn’t bother us as we were happy to walk. We had planned to have breakfast in the hotel one morning but they don’t have a breakfast menu, instead we got uber eats to the hotel for breakfast which was easy and arrived in 15 minutes. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. They helped us to book a taxi back to the airport for us on our last day and we got late check out for free. We couldn’t recommend this hotel more and will certainly stay here next time we’re in NYC.
Nice hotel in the financial district. Really close to the subway and super easy to get around. For the price it’s probably the best option if you’re coming to visit the city on a short trip.
Enjoyable stay.
Great location next to the green line #4 that goes north to manhattan.. very cozy.. nice front desk staff
Front desk very professional.
My downtown spot
I go to New York City frequently and stay downtown in the financial district and this Hilton Garden Inn is my go to. Great dining options all around near battery park and all the subway lines directly across the street from the Staten Island ferry. But I keep coming back because the staff is amazing and they always remember me and they always take care of me.
Needs to be remodeled
Convenience with subway, ferry and many good restaurants nearby
El único problema que tienes, es que no se puede graduar el agua que sale de la ducha!! Oh es demasiado caliente… oh es demasiada fría.
Served with To go boxes on breakfast on a 4star hotel in ala carte and rushed by cashier and staff. Also bathroom had damages & water heater is nowhere to be found as the faucet is somehow damaged. So had to figure it out. Paid too much money for our reservation but stay is kind of like cheap hotels. First time being disappointed in a hilton hotel.
Great staff. Very helpful
Todo estuvo excelente, el subway solo cursando la calle y mucho que mirar al rededor
I like the decoration, setting of the room, it's lighting, the quietness of it.....especially the view with the boat passing........a serene experience.....all and all. Thank you
I was really disapointed with the quality of the room for a Hilton hotel. There was many issues with the room: 1. There was no soap in the soap dispenser in the shower. 2. The shower knob wasn't working properly which made it difficult to regulate the water temperature. 3. The heater had to be set to 90F to keep the room at a maximum temperature of 69F. The room never got higher than 69F although the heater was set to 90F. 4. The window was sealed with painter tape (blue tape) so air didn't come through. Overall, it was really disapointing that a brand like Hilton offered such a room to any client, doesn't matter if the room is booked through Hilton directly or through a 3rd party, the quality should remain the same.
The hotel staff was amazing. Room service was very quick and efficient. They did a wonderful job changing the sheets and replenishing towels while me and my girlfriend were gone.
Average..
room was clean. staff was overall really friendly. the only thing i don’t like is the room i checked in with online, wasn’t the same one they had the hotel. it happens but the front desk provided no explanation why. it became problematic because i door dashed things to room prior to arriving so it would get there in time.
The best
Martín was a huge help when it came down to us returning back to the airport!
Excellent
Would recommend
Great location. Staff was helpful and the room service did great.
The temperature of the bath water is not so easy to adjust
Pretty nice for the price
They don’t know how to deal with customers
Good Stay!
Clean and convenient loacation with three (3) Elevators.
Convenient!
There is only one thing at night time it was hard to see the sign have a lighted sign I know there was a lot of road works going on the streets was partly blocked off Mary & John
Bathroom not taken care of, dead lights, one night brown water came from shower. Staff unfriendly, would not give me water had to buy 10$ water.
We had a wonderful stay here! Front staff were exceptional, so friendly! The location was amazing, right near subway and Staten Island ferry! It could use a bit of tlc in some of the building but overall I found it to be clean and well kept, would definitely stay here again if I come back to New York!
Very fun stay! Just two things! Wind by the air conditioner makes an almost constant whistling noise. And do you research on bathrooms. Doors are (barn doors) so no lock and no bathroom ventilation. We were able to change rooms bc our barn door wouldn’t even stay shut.
Super close to the subway and walking to lots of stuff to do… first trip to New York and this hotel was perfect for us
.
Nice place to stay and nice view from room. Looking forward to stay again… Thank you😍😍
Very nice stuff, very clean rooms
Clean and Good service . There is an empty bottles for soap and shampoo. They forgot to refill.
I was not impressed with the state of our room at all. Especially for the cost.
The hotel was close to metro stations.
Stayed 2 days and both days I had to call front desk to get coffee pods for the room. Also, the bathroom door would not close making it very difficult to use the bathroom
I liked that we could see the water from our room. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The room was a bit on the small side though.
Wall Street
Really great location and the staff were always helpful. Breakfast was very convenient, and Bar service begins at 4PM.
Worst experience..
I had the worst experience after years of booking with Hotels.com. The room was booked for 2 and I had booked an extra night for my daughter separately as she changed her flight to a day earlier. When I flew in she was out at dinner and asked the front desk for a card and they said my name was not on and so they could not give me the card. The lady would not even look at my app to show that I booked the hotel. Did not look at my name to see that we had the same last unique name. Then she said my daughter should call in to authorize and when she did that they changed their story and said to come in with ID. I waited 2 hrs after a tiring day and flight to get in. Then my daughter said the first day there was a used towel still sitting on the chair . The conditioner and lotion bottle were empty and only changed after I called it it in day 2. Cleaning the fridge the last night I saw two cups of water and coffee and asked my daughter why she did not drink and she said it was not hers . That means the fridge was never cleaned from the previous bookings. The say before check out our room was not cleaned. When I came back after a tiring day to nap everything was as is and no towels to use. They said they would sand the cleaners next day which was too Late as we checked out the next morning. I had to get upset with them to send someone up to clean it out. Hotel had potential to be great but the service was terrible .
Great views, Great staff, clean room, quite area and close to subways.
Like many hotels in NYC, you may assigned a room that could have broken features. The first room we received had a broken heating system. We asked for a new room after the cold night. It was granted, but had a shower head and mixing valve that was not working right. Problems with room maintenwnce.

Not satisfied
The didn’t supply us with enough towels and the toilet paper wasn’t refilled and neither was the body wash. We reported the lack of body wash and it was never taken care of. On the first night, the tv didn’t work. We had to call and the electrical outlets also didn’t work properly. Not enough light in the room.
Great place to stay in NYC!
Breakfast was not the best experience. Waited almost an hour to get our order, they ran out of coffee and did not make it. When you ask, they direct you to the lobby to get a cap up of coffee. Overall food quality was poor.
Easy to go around with subway transportation
It was a great place to stay for our first time in NYC. Super close to the subway entrance and quiet enough to rest comfortably
Everything
Hospitality was amazing
The Hilton Garden Inn
We are from Virginia and were touring NYC with our friends from Southeast Asia. Every things were great, the weather was cold but they got to see snow for the first time on the last day. The Hilton Garden Inn location was convenience to where we spent lot of time.
The sink was clogged. Coffee cups were not refilled.
This is by far my FAVORITE hotel that I have stayed at of all time! The rooms are updated, cozy and have everything that you need. Having a hotel with a mini fridge and microwave is hard to come by. However, my favorite part was the excellent service. The front desk team was the best. The management, EVEN BETTER. As a travel agent and someone in property management, ANNE is phenomenal! She assisted us with our check-in, offered great perks while we helped her with something, and simply provided us with exceptional service. I felt like my loyalty with Hilton was appreciated and valued. If I were to hire a management, I would bring Anne onboard anytime. Her level of care, professionalism and hospitality is unmatched. We loved the hotel and team so much that instead of saving some money by staying with family, we opted into staying at the hotel an extra night! Thank you so much for Hilton Garden Inn NYC Financial Center and Anne for an incredible experience. We will be back!!!!
Confusing, annoying one night stay
This hotel was simply a mess. We booked three rooms, requesting them to be together. I understand that those types of requests cannot always be honored. But when we arrived, around 5 pm, one of our three rooms (only 2 of which were together- which was fine) was not even ready! We were exhausted from a long day of travel/touring, and just wanted to relax for a bit before dinner. So we went to the two rooms that were ready, only to find that in one of the rooms the heat didn’t work- room was at 55 F! I went down to the front desk to have the issue addressed- which they did promptly (sent up an engineer who sorta fixed it- at least he got the room to 71 F); at the front desk, the girl informed me that our third room was ready, but it had no heat. Not sure what was going on there that night (we only stayed one night), but I told her we’d been freezing all day and needed heat. She kindly moved us into two king rooms next to each other. I will say the front desk people were kind and helpful, but overworked- took a long time to check in, and I was confused as to why they would try to put a customer in a room without heat. Rooms seemed clean and comfortable (though water in shower was hard to get right temperature), but I don’t think I’d stay here again. For the price I paid, I’d expect a little more hassle free experience.
You would expect better
We arrived after 5pm but our room was still not ready. Once we got our room there was no heat. Once the technician came it was lukewarm and we had to run the supplied space heater all night. The shower was either lukewarm or scorching. The towels were threadbare. The staff were unbothered, probably short staffed and frustrated too, not rude though. Definitely not what you expect to get paying well over $300 a night.
I liked all the normal staff Few little things not alit of room for 2 people with there luggage where to store everything was no place we left everything on the luggage on the floor All so the water in the sink didn’t this post quickly it stays full for most of the time that you wash your face in the morning, which is disgusting if you have things that you do
Inside the property was great. Just had something going on outside in front of the hotel
Friendly l, clean and efficient
The hotel was nice. Staff was friendly. The room was small, but typical of the area. Only thing that was a little frustrating was having a room next to the elevators. The sound of them going up and down was not enjoyable.
Excellent hotel in a great location. Very friendly staff who were happy to help with any requests. Our room was on the 29th floor so zero street noise.
Not as great as last trips
I have stayed about three times when in NYC. The past x2 times were amazing, however this time was not so great. Rooms were not I requested when I booked (Double beds) our bathroom was missing all basic needs such as TP, soaps and had to call twice to get these items brought up to our room. Front desk service was not very inviting no smiles. Seems like it’s not the same at all. It shows.
Literally found what appears to be human seminal fluid on the desk chair in room which is gross and unsanitary. There remains of graffiti on door to our bathroom and random stains on bed skirt. For all the money it costs to stay here. I expected better. It's rated on Google as a 4 star hotel.
Nice place in Charlotte
Subway walking distance friendly staff.
Dump
It was a $150 room for $500+ the room just looked dirty and cheap, it did not look like the photos. The USB charging ports did not work. I understand it’s Manhattan and the location is why I paid so much but the location was exactly why I surprised it looked like a dump
Amazing and easy check in. Was hesitant for any hotel in New York due to the large amount of negativity that surrounds their hotel. Would stay again. My boyfriend loved their food service! He said it was delicious and nice and quick.
FYI
Comfortable stay but lots of misleading and frustrating things Advertised gift shop and souvenirs, but none on site Lobby printer and computers out of order Shower door installed backwards Advertised as ice machine on each floor That was incorrect, but sign saying ice machine on the ninth floor However, when going to that machine, it was out of order and sign on it to tell you to go to the 12th floor Needless to say a bum leg, made it even more difficult!!
Great spot!
Great hotel Location for financial district and close to all subway lines. Also very quick drive into manhattan without midtown traffic. Close to little italy and chinatown and walked to 9/11 site. Quick walk to NYSE!
It was dirty
staff/service was great! easy location to get to from ferry terminal, right at the heart of Financial District and walking distance to Battery Park, Chinatown, Little Italy, World Trade Center. Easy for rideshare to pick up/drop off. Would stay here again
Great!
The property was great and the staff was amazing. The complaint that I have is there were 3 tissues in the box and a half roll of toilet paper in the room with non extra rolls. I had to request toilet paper twice.
Great location and the staff members were excellent. The food at the grill was spme of the best we had in NY!
Excellent stay

It was a great experience staying in the city.
