It was a nice property and staff was very helpful. It just didn't seem like the quality of a Hilton Garden Inn. The shower wasn't great. A little grimy in the corners of the plastic surround. I also hate a shower that you have to get fully in to access the controls. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We did not see any restaurants close enough to walk to. But very convenient to airport.
Very nice people from shuttle drivers to front desk to food servers.
Such great staff!
Friendly Staff
Property could have been cleaner! Shower was super dirty! I told the front staff and all she offered was 3,000 points which was equivalent to $10 off! Not satisfied!
Very great place to stay loved it
No tooth brush and no hot water for shower
Reported that room beds had Bed Bugs but the receptionist said nothing they could do from the hotel point. They said I was booked by a third party and they would probably get my adjustment from Hotels.com. We were all bitten by these bugs! I am so disappointed because these things gets in clothes and baggage I am told. I am enroute traveling and I will need some kind of consideration for my family . I trust Hotel.com to provide me best accommodations as in the past. The hotel receptionist name was. Army or something that’s close to this name. I was in room Room 211 at the 8001 Monroe Nlvd Hilton Hotel by Airport Hobby. Thanks
Close to airport, not quite up to Hilton standards . I was not happy being charged for parking as a guest. I will reconsider in future
Front desk and entire staff were so friendly, hotel is very clean and accomodating.
Quick overnight for a 5am flight. It was perfect.
Your shuttle driver did not show on Saturday morning so we paid for a Lyft The main reason we stayed there was convenience of location to the airport and a shuttle to the airport early in the morning Staff that morning was very unhelpful!
Only the bed had a bad noice like metal scratching.
Great customer service
Check-in went smoothly. We got there early and they rushed to have the rooms ready. The next day was totally differently. there was no signage saying the Continental breakfast was not included with the room. My friend got a cup of coffee and a bowl of cereal and got charged for a full breakfast.
Shower needed more attention, Shower head is bad
Beds are really comfy! Restaurant was good, rooms clean. Heavy scents in many areas, hard on allergies but not unbearable. The entire staff from shuttle driver, to check in, and restaurant were top notch!
Hotel was clean and easy to get to staff was very helpful and courtesy
The only way to get in or out of property is a one way street. So if you dont know the area very jard to do
Nice clean Airport hotel with transport to and from the airport. Nothing around to walk to for dinner or shopping.
Muy bien todo
The front desk attendee has excellent customer service. Im came in between 5-6 pm. I should've gotten her name . 100 percent Hospitality and Customer Service
Overall, very nice experience. It would however, help if the receptionist smile and be helpful more. However, the receptionist who checked me out out was so competent and nice.
Nice hotel
Very unwelcoming lobby desk girl
Major Negative was being charged for breakfast AFTER eating. never told there was a charge, and it was set up like every other free continental breakfast, cold cereal, oatmeal, eggs, etc. and after eating a very small plate each, we all received a $14 bill per person! me and my fellow co-workers were flabbergasted to say the least. charging is fine but you should make guests aware before the fact. we were never told at check in and there were no signs stating there was a cost, and no one "took" our order - it was just a normal open area with standard food/layout for a continental breakfast, so we had no clue until afterwards. they also charge for parking which was not known ahead of time either and this is not a downtown busy location so that also seemed off, but the breakfast was mind blowing to say the least. I get charging if you want to, but it should be made known and the amount you will be charged upfront. very disappointing - otherwise all else was great.
Another pleasant stay at a clean and welcoming hotel. Conveniently located near the airport with shuttle service. Breakfast is minimal unless you decide to purchase a hearty meal.
VG cruise vacay
I stayed at Hilton Garden the night before my cruise vacay
Everything was excellent!
Customer service oriented staff. Got a complimentary razor and shaving cream that we forgot to pack. Really good burger for dinner. Breakfast buffet was okay. It’s an airport hotel. Complimentary shuttle from the airport is a plus.
Great
The fact you have to pay for parking and breakfast at the property on top of the nightly rate was a disappointment.
. Hotel close to the airport with shuttle bus
Most staff were pleasant and helpful, however our first contact was a receptionist whose manner was quite abrupt. This is based on a one night stay.
The stay was fine; however, when I acquired about parking the front desk clerk only stated they had pay parking and never mentioned the hotel offered free parking. If I’m already paying to stay my parking should be included or give me a choice for parking upon making my reservation at the front desk.
Surprisingly clean and comfortable considering the neighborhood.
Nice property. The location is gteat and customer service is excellent.
Front staff gentleman was very nice and was able to get us in sooner than planned. Head house keeper had our room ready and cool! Needed the cooler temp after 90 degrees on the cruise. Dinner was incredible!!! Highly recommended
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Was excellent apart from the dining around the area
For this amount, there should be a breakfast available!
Great place to stay!
Nice airport hotel
The best thing about this hotel was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The breakfast offerings and conditions were not good at all! The eggs, bacon and pancakes were not appetizing! The toast was coming out the back of the toaster onto the table, no hot water on the table for tea! The staff was limited making it hard for them to keep up even though they were doing the best that they could under the circumstances! Nats were in the lobby and in the rooms ! Room service was every other day instead of daily!
Always a great time.
You need to pay for parking!
Floor not thoroughly clean. There were hairs on carpet and candy under the ac.
I stayed for a night and it was perfect for me. Even though I was close to the airport I didn’t hear the planes at all. The room was clean, the bedding was comfortable. The staff were friendly and nice. I love the security it has to go in. Will stay here in the future.
Never again
We were told when we checked in that breakfast was included and that agreed with the room as advertised. However, they did NOT honor this, so we left the hotel. Also, because we arrived before check in, they offered to take us to the store while we waited. We asked to go to walmart, they took us to target. We told the driver we needed to go to walmart. He said he forgot and took us to target, then refused to take us to walmart because it was now too far. They said to call when we were ready to be picked up. We called, they NEVER answered the phone, so we emailed Apple Bell and after 1 hour they picked us up.
Great value for the money
Free shuttle makes it worth it. Airport to door and vice versa - 6 to 7 min. Restaurant on-site offers breakfast and dinner. There's a 24hr marketplace to purchase snacks and drinks. Plus there's a pool, fitness center, etc. Easy in and easy out. Will return and recommend.
Bugs galore
There was a rediculous amount of roaches in my room. I killed six. I had to throw away my food twice. The walls are paper thin. I could hear my neighbor having a casual conversation. He wasnt yelling. They charge for parking which always offends me. My guests had to park at target and I would go get them then get billed some more. Never again will i stay at a Hilton. Of course the upload photo option isnt working rn.
The hotel was fully booked. No room
Good customer service, very clean rooms and environment, and dependable shuttle transportation
Reservations were made over 3 weeks ago for a weekend stay with my family of 4. Upon checking in on Friday we were given a room with 1 King Bed and were told that’s all that was available. I was told Saturday I could be moved to another room with 2 beds resulting in my son having to sleep on the floor Friday night. Saturday came and I was told again there was no other rooms. We were not accommodated with even a recliner or mattress for my boys the entire weekend. We will not be staying again.
All staff were friendly and courteous, except for the lady that checked us in, she was nice but rather felt like she had something better to do than help us. Shuttle service was great, breakfast was really good.
Nice hotel, clean and friendly front desk.
The area was a little sketchy, but once inside, the hotel is very nice. Good food & friendly staff.
I did not check in. The hotel did not have any power.
The staff here is excellent! There is a bar to get a bite to eat and adult beverages—everything you need for a pleasant stay. The pool and hot tub are a bonus!
Average hotel conveniently close to the airport. Not much else to say
Great location for an unexpected overnight stay at Houston Hobby airport. They have 24/7 free shuttle.
Poor
We could not check in due to technical difficulties. We had to cancel it at the front desk. People were furious. We tried for 5 hours. Hilton… that is unacceptable. You should have a procedure for IT issues to help customers. We are from Virginia and had no place to stay and had the reservation for months. You should compensate us with another visit in the future free of charge due to your poor procedures. Why didn’t you contact us to inform us and help us with another accommodation?
The floor was wet by the air conditioner
You have to pay to park at this hotel
The hotel itself and our room was clean and comfortable during our stay. Two things to be aware of that aren't made entirely clear during check-in: 1) You have to pay a $13/day fee to park in the hotel parking lot. 2) There is no continental breakfast. If you want food at the hotel, the restaurant charges $20/person. We questioned the front desk about the parking fee, and we were told that "All the hotels around here charge for parking and we are one of the least expensive." So guess what I did? I looked up 6 of the closest hotels around Hilton and not one of them charged for parking. And most of them had free breakfast to boot. So for the same amount of money (or less) that we paid for this room, you could go elsewhere and have free parking and free breakfast.
Great stay!! The check inn host was awesome!!
All was great!
Clean and spacious!
Staff refuse to clean our bedroom
Great hotel
Easy and quick check in. Friendly front desk staff. Comfy beds and pillows. Affordable rates. Convenient l
Great place to stay
Would stay here again. Will book directly with Hilton next stay
Nice clean affordable property with 24/7 shuttle to the airport.
Good close to Houston Hobby airport with friendly shuttle service
For the price rooms could have been a little bit better. A/C not working properly.
Eric and Francisco were very welcoming from beginning to end. We had several rooms and they made our stay fantastic and relaxing
We had a very nice stay at this hotel after having to leave another hotel due to a booking issue. The staff was great, the onsite restaurant was great and the rooms were very clean and comfortable.
Bar was great with call brand alcohol
It was great I loved it so much 😍.
We stay at a Hilton Garden every time we can, they are always clean and friendly.
The staff was very friendly in upbeat I checked into the room I found hair in the tub on the counter top hair was also in the bed
The staff was pleasant. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel is well kept.
Everything was on point
Disappointing Stay - Unsanitary Conditions at the
Disappointing Stay I recently had a stay at the Hilton hotel, and I must say that I was extremely disappointed with the experience. The cleanliness of the showers and bathroom left a lot to be desired, and the condition of the bed sheets was simply unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend anyone stay at this hotel. From the moment I entered the bathroom, I was met with an unpleasant sight. The showers were visibly dirty, with mold and mildew growing in the corners. The grout between the tiles was discolored, indicating a lack of proper cleaning and maintenance. It was evident that the cleanliness standards were not up to par, and it made me question the overall hygiene of the entire facility. Furthermore, the state of the bed sheets was equally disappointing. Upon pulling back the covers, I was greeted with stains and signs of previous use. It was evident that the sheets had not been changed or properly cleaned before my arrival. This lack of attention to detail and basic hygiene standards is simply unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber.I understand that no establishment is perfect, and occasional oversights may occur. However, the lack of cleanliness throughout my stay at the Hilton was far from a minor issue. It significantly impacted the overall comfort and experience of my visit. When choosing a hotel, one of the most basic expectations is cleanliness. Unfortunately, the Hilton failed to meet even this fundamental requirement. I would strongly advise ag
Staff was exceptional!
Dirty & in need of basic maintenance
it was quiet
Disappointing.
Pool deck was flooded when the hot tub was on, tile were missing and a article of clothing was on the deck. There were no towels so I walked to the front desk for some. They said they would. 1/2 hour later I walked back to the desk and a new person working there handed me two. Asked for new coffee, cream and sugar as room service is every other day... the front desk could only find one of each.
I loved it !
I really liked the atmosphere and friendly people. Very professional pleasant. I will stay here again and tell my friends about it this place.
HIlton Garden Inn Hobby Airport is literally across the street from the back of the airport, so transfer is SIMPLE. Room neat and tidy. Front desk staff very accommodating. DID have to pay additional fee for checking in early (before noon, but not too much before, and the hotel was not full). Pool area was clean. Could not hear airplane noise from our room on the back side of the hotel. Overall, nice stay; no major issues or complaints!
Relly nice for the price excellent i will stay there moving forward Thanks!!!
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful!
Hotel was nice. Close to airport. Had never been to Houston before. Area around the hotel seemed a little rough/sketchy and worn down.
From The Shuttle to the hotel and back to the airport including everything in between was great. Robert and Eric were great the room was very clean and quiet and the food at the restaurant was really good. Thank You again Robert and Eric Tom and Barb
Excellent and beyond affordable hotel!
Awesome place if you want to stay near downtown or near Hobby airport. Very clean and the staff was awesome. The only downfall I thought overall was the lowest temp on the ac was 68 degrees and there were no fans available. Our family made it work and everything was fine! There is no better place to stay near the airport I will tell you that!!
Manager Robert was awesome at making us comfortable and welcoming at the hotel. He accommodated us and got the jacuzzi fixed the next day when it was not working.
When arriving at Hobby, called for transfer and no one answered the phone. Properly is old and needs to be updated
Great location to airport
It was ok for a one night stay.
Took 40 minutes for shuttle Fraudulent credit card activity on my card after I used it at this property
Love the property

Disappointing Experience
This was not what we expect from Hilton. The staff was not friendly or engaged. She almost seemed irritated that we were there. She instructed me to scan a QR code to pay for parking when we thought there was free parking. Scanning the code brought me to another company’s website where I had to enter credit card information, vehicle information, etc. This is a real nuisance and not what I want to be doing as I help a disabled husband into a hotel. Our front desk person did not ask if we needed directions or a specific room. It would have been nice to be near the elevator, since my husband has difficulty walking, but we were given a room down near the end of the hallway. There were no directions given as to where the elevator was. When we got to the room, the amenities in the bathroom were minimal, the shower was in disrepair, and the bedding was ripped. Usually Hilton Garden Inns are very nice. There were only paper cups provided, no real glasses. I would not stay here again, mostly because of the parking issues and the apathy of the staff.
