Great location... walking distance from many night markets.
Chiang mai by the night market
The building is nice and the roof top pool is refreshing after a hot day in town. The unit is small but well decorated and comfortable. The bed is quite hard, which some people like, but a bit too much for us. There was no coffee maker in unit, but owner provided instant coffee and hit water pot. There was only one water glass and one wine glass in the unit. No problem for us as we were only there 2 nights, but might be an issue if staying longer. Location is nice and within walking distance of the night market. A bit of a distance walking from the old city and nimman.

Great, modern stay
The Astra condo was wondedful. Great amenities and very helpful host. He even sent us videos on how to get into the room and check in and out. He was also very communicative and always available. Our room was great. Great bed, shower, and tub. Loves how the toilet room was separated from the shower, though the all glass shower room was a little strange. Glad there was a curtain to cover the glass wall looking into the shower and bath room. There was a nice comfy couch for a third person. A washing machine is available with a hanging rack in the balcony. Sad we only stayed one night and didn't get to enjoy all the condo amenities. Very quick walking distance to the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar and Anusaran Bazaar!

I expect a full refund
I made this reservation two months prior to my trip. The reservation confirmation notice stated that: “There is no front desk at this property. To make arrangements for check-in contact the property 24 hours in advance using the information on the booking confirmation.” The booking confirmation provided a local Thailand number and another telephone number that appeared to be from the United States. No email address was provided for the property. Neither of the telephone numbers provided were functional. I called both numbers numerous times during the two days prior to the reservation but both numbers simply provided error messages. I attempted to call hotels.com but their agents were not available. I attempted to reach an agent via the hotels.com app but there were no agents available using the chat function and the direct message function was deactivated. They have no email address listed on the app that I could write to. I was on my way to Chiang Mai and, after spending hours attempting to call the property (per their own instructions) and calling hotels.com numerous times, I had no way to confirm if I would be able to check in at the hotel. I arrived in Chiang Mai and, as I suspected, once I reached the hotel there was no-one at the front desk, I had no room number or key available and therefore the hotel room I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR IN FULL was not available. My wife and I ended up walking with all of my luggage up and down the street looking for a hotel that was not full
