Booking with this hotel was a terrible experience. My booking was on the 1st of November (2 days after the floods in Valencia that left over 200 deaths around the city). At that point Valencia was unreachable (all public transport was cancelled and the government had issued a ban to drive on roads of affected areas - basically most roads around and in to Valencia to allow space for emergency vehicles). I tried contacting the hotel to ask for a cancellation and reimbursement due to the extraordinary situation. I also contacted Hotels.com, who also attempted to contact the hotel. After numerous messages, I only got an answer 5 days later (4th of November), informing me that I should go through hotels.com. I did that, and they still refused to issue a refund. Completely unacceptable, unethical and unprofessional behaviour.

The check in machine wasn’t working properly and kept making noises all night long. Otherwise decent property what you expect for the price.

Excellent position for visiting all major attractions. We never saw Reception manned the whole time of our four night stay. Cleaning was only every other day and you needed to request it and coffee was not re stocked. On the day of our departure we asked if we could leave our luggage and this request was denied

Breakfast too far away from Ciutat Vella

Great location. Easy access to shopping and sightseeing. Only downfall was the breakfast that we purchased. The cafe was the opposite of the old town about 0.5 km in Mercado Colon, not to be confused with the central market. We opted not to walk there but had breakfast in one of the many cafes nearby.

Found someone else’s hairs in our shower, there was no remote for the TV anywhere in the room, the walls of the room were so thin that we could hear the main door to the property close, we could hear when others turned on their showers, we could hear our neighbour’s baby crying and other neighbour’s phone alarm. It was very difficult to sleep here because of this and the earplugs provided did not help. The soap had not been refilled for our stay, we ran out after our 2nd or 3rd day there and didn’t receive any more after texting the WhatsApp number provided. Both me and my partner also woke up with lots of bites all over our bodies after sleeping in the bed - we’re unsure if these are from mites, bed bugs or fleas but the bites only covered the parts of our skin that were in direct contact with the bed and sheets. They definitely weren’t mosquito bites. Despite the overwhelming negatives, some big positives were the bedroom being nice and large, the view of the city, and its central location.

Great location in the center of the city, nice clean accommodation, friendly staff

I stayed for one night while traveling solo and I felt safe. The staff was friendly and the room and bathroom were clean. Very centric and walkable to the main attractions.

This property only does contactless check in as many other properties do and you must call them. Which is fine they do not answer their phone or messages via Whatsapp or Expedia. The multiple booking reference number they provided did not work on their self check in machine and so I was stuck in the common area. Thank god there a lovely lady showed up, she might've been another guest or a cleaner. With my limited Spanish, we were able to communicate and she was able to get me checked in. I stayed here for 2 nights and they never responded to any of my messages to apologise or check that everything was ok. I wouldn't stay here again unless absolutely necessary.

This so called boutique hotel was a disappointment. The licatiin was perfect but the room.. hm very noisy above .below and sides. And also i see why they leave you earplugs. For the price paid absolutely a huge disappointment. Never recomend this to any one .

Lots of character but super small bathroom with super small shower. Very noisy area at night and could smell cigarette smoke from people smoking in street nearby through the shutters.

We had a great stay at Hi hotel Boutique, the staff is very kind and helpful, the property is very well located within 5 minutes walking from the most important city sighseeings, the rooms are - fairly - quiet but have all the necessary amenities and space, bed and pillows are really comfortable! Only small negative point is that since the building is a little bit old there´s a smell in the rooms in summer time because of the heat, however, the staff is very helpful and they did everything to make it better for us :) I highly recommend this place if you´re staying in Valencia!

Location is really good. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. However, the building is old and even though it has been refurbished is not insulated for the noise. When you are in your room, you can hear doors slamming, alarms going off on the room besides, the room beside coughing, people doing the check out… is not the most quiet place to rest.

We enjoyed the small boutique for the location of all the things that we wanted to do in Valencia. It’s a beautiful city and the people were great.

Location is great!

Cute trendy room located in old building! Location was nice and central. Walking to restaurants, grocery ect. Easy access to buses/transit. Parking in parking garage was located about half a block away. The streets were under construction with fencing up so the place was hard to notice at first and ended up driving in a few circles as the car GPS wasn’t quite right. Great breakfast place at end of street. When we booked on a 3rd party site (a few months in advance) we were given a door code. When we arrived it wasn’t working. A code was emailed the morning before from the Boutique. Just make sure to check your emails while you have wifi available ! Other than that no issues once we got the keys/fobs to access the place.

Pesadilla, vergonzo lugar sin atención al pasajero

Nuestra experiencia fue una pesadilla desde el comienzo. Para empezar nos proveyeron 2 direcciones diferentes del hotel vía email lo cual creo confusión innecesaria. La dirección correcta a pesar de estar en el número 1 de la calle se encontraba a mitad de una cuadra, Google maps no la encontraba y tampoco nosotros dadá la pésima iluminación y señalización del edificio. El hall central del edificio da miedo, limpio pero en muy malas condiciones de mantenimiento. El proceso de self check in , no hay nadie del hotel en el lugar para asistir, con una maquina desastroso: no solo el scanner no capturaba correctamente el pasaporte y hubo que ingresarlos manualmente sino que la máquina se trabó y no pudo dispensar la tarjeta de ingreso al cuarto luego hacernos repetir el proceso varias veces. Hubo que llamar a un teléfono para que destrabaran la máquina y finalmente diera la tarjeta. El lobby de entrada huele a viejo y a pis. La habitación era claustrofóbicamente pequeña e incómoda. Solo un set de toallas por persona pero ahora “la fresa del pastel”: bañarse con agua fría!!! Si señores, el agua caliente dura 2 minutos y luego sale fría. Quizás en verano alguien disfrutará de esa experiencia pero no es lógico que en el 2022 un hotel no tenga agua caliente continua. Al partir lo comuniqué a una persona del hotel y dijo que el edificio es viejo y la capacidad del calentador de agua es limitada. Escribí al hotel y no recibí ninguna disculpa. Huyan mientras puedan!

Good location,ots of amenities nearby

The apartment is in an excellent location. Not far from old town and close to transport links. And has lots of shops bars and restaurants nearby. We had no problem accessing the building. There is no reception so need a code then its self check in. The apartments are spacious and bed was comfy. Coffee machine and fridge and shower was good. So all we needed as mostly out exploring the city.

Comfortable bed and huge room.

Lovely huge room and the most comfortable bed! There was a bit of noise here and there but overall excellent value for money and a lovely room.

The rooms were in good condition, the interior was clean and the bathroom well maintained. However, the hotel is in a building with an sketchy entrance that many times had no lights on, and it felt unsafe going in and out. Not having someone from the hotel on-site probably contributed to this feeling, even though self check-in worked well.

Great Hotel

Wonderful place. Exactly what we needed in this city. Excellent location, very central ... Spacious rooms, clean, comfortable. Building has elevators. Check-in is automated - ps: have a credit card on hand for payment as it's through the machine only. Cleaning service was great, and she was helpful last day in keeping our luggage for extra couple of hours after. Checkout. We would stay here again if we come back to Valencia.

It was very close to a lot of main attractions, which was the main draw. The hotel is otherwise quite disappointing. There was no natural light at all in the room (the window was about 2 feet away from another building) so it felt very claustrophobic. The walls were very thin and the other guests were not very considerate so we would wake up every time someone shut a door. The location was great and despite having no staff at all, check in was quite simple. However, it would have been nice to have someone around to ask questions about the city.

Amazing hotel

The room was spacious and amazing. Loves the shower also it was big, had a fan and aircon which was a plus. Self check in was also easy. Location is very central also. I’m coming to stay again next week so excited to stay again.

We were here for four nights in the superior room and overall disappointed. The AC was barely functioning on the lowest temperature and Valencia was hitting 100degrees F. I emailed them if they could provide us with a fan or different room and they didn't even respond. The room was so hot we had to rearrange the furniture every night to push the bed across the room next to the bathroom just to be under the AC vents. They only come clean the rooms “upon request” but there is no reception and no instructions on how to request. I called and she told me to flip the do not disturb sign over and there was a “clean my room” hidden on the back. I also called three times before and no answer or call back. On the third day when the cleaner finally came she only made the bed and only left one set of towels and didnt replenish our coffee or cups. The room is cute and the bathrooms are nice. The location is good as well, I used to live in Valencia and it was situated near all my favorite spots. This place is probably nicer in the winter. The location is good but they really need to have someone on site since things are not very smooth running. Expensive for what it was.

Excellent stay

Excellent room in an amazing period property. Ideal location, very quiet. Automatic Check-in quite lengthy and would not accept TIE ID but overcame this by entering details manually. Other member of the party used Passport which was accepted automatically.

Clean cute rooms and very convenient location. Check in was all automated and it's a pretty seamless process but no staff means no help if you're missing towels or need anything. Biggest downside - Hot water is non existent. Out of 4 showers (at different times - some evening, some morning) there was a combined total of 2 minutes of warmish water, the rest was freezing. Overall a good stay but they need to either fix or upgrade their water heater.

Good central hotel for a night in Valencia

We stayed only for one night, on a Sunday night. On the plus side, the location is great, 3 minutes walk from the Colon tube stop that takes you to the airport in 25 minutes. The bed was huge and super comfy and the room massive. There was somebody helping with the check-in machine, a good thing as it’s not the most user friendly. Powerful shower and clean. On the negative side, it can get noisy at night since some rooms have the toilet outside their room on the corridor and the pillow was far too firm for me (it was ok for my partner though). Overall good value for money.

Hotel in good location with parking very close by at €19.98/day. Room was very spacious and had all amenities. Was in the centre but still a good walk to most places. Would recommend this hotel for its location. Because of the weather we were not able to appreciate the location fully.

En general muy bien. Buena habitación, silenciosa, cómoda. El único problema fue que en el baño encontramos una cucaracha y la ducha tenía algunas manchas. El acceso es fácil, pero los códigos de acceso los mandan el mismo día por lo que sí o sí hay que tener internet móvil. Está muy bien ubicado.

This b&b is really easy to get to from the airport by metro. In a really good location, can get to everything by walking. Easy to check in even when the reception is out of hours. Staff really friendly (didn’t get her name unfortunately) but she recommended restaurants and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms clean and to a high standard, cleaned every day. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

Its a good place in a great location ans I liked it. The only disadvantage was that my bathroom was outside the room but that was ok for one night.

Away, bed full of hair

Awful experience Bed full of hair, over the pillow, the sheets and blanket. Same story in the bathroom, hair everywhere. To conclude a terrible experience, no hotwater in the morning i left so i could not take a lroper shower. At the front desk they answered saying that they thought the problem was fixed ( yes, the previous guest had experienced the same issue apparently) but incredibly nobody bothered to fix it or check.

Super convenient location, front desk person was very helpful. Good service. It is a b&b so there isn’t a 24h front desk person. The building itself was nice but of an older style and the reception desk is annoyingly on the 2nd floor and my room seemed a little basic and dated but overall excellent stay due to clean and comfortable room and great location

Nice find

Wonderful location in the heart of central Valencia. Our bathroom was outside our room across the hall, requiring a separate key. We didn't expect that. There were rooms with the bathroom en suite. We would have chosen one of those if we had known. Also the front desk is not staffed all the time. If you get locked out you need to be able to call the after hours number. Reasonably priced.

The hotel is all about the location. Its absolutely in the centre of the hustle and bustle. The staff are very helpful as well and I could plan my arrival at the property with no surprises.

Decor delightful and position central

The room was enormous and beautifully decorated with a lovely picture window overlooking the street and park. King size Bed was super comfy. A little noisy from the traffic below but not enough to be of huge concern. The restaurant on the street adjacent (looking straight out that lovely window) was absolutely perfect - owned & operated by 2 brothers who were passionate about food and service. Great position and 5 min walk from Colon metro station. Would recommend this apartment.

There were 5 of us total. We liked the architecture & entryway. 3 of us had a nice & quiet room. 2 of us suffered horribly all night because the smoke alarm kept beeping (but did not call the emergency number provided since it was not a real "emergency"). Probably a dying battery. Location was good. (Near taxis, near plaza with restaurants & Corte Ingles.) A bit difficult to find it because the signage was subtle on the outside of the building. Big Problem: it SAYS it's a B&B but breakfast was NOT included. Off course, if I had read the description better when I made the reservation I would have known that. BUT, I assumed, with a name including "B & B" that it was a Bed and Breakfast and NOT a Bed without Breakfast. Personally I did not enjoy the bathroom across the hall - even though it was private, I am lazy and did not get fully dressed just to use the shower. Consequently I dashed across the hallway wrapped in a somewhat revealing towel, a sight which could have caused severe PTSD in any passerby who happened to see me. 2 of us (the same two with the beeping fire alarm) had an interior window which had no curtain over it and the light came through into the room all night. The other three of us had an awesome automatic blind system which we could play with moving it up and down to shut out the light and traffic outside.

Front desk operator was very nice. Area was good as well.

Great B&B in the Heart of Valencia

Room 101 is a very large superior room at the front of the building. Definitely worth paying extra for. The bed is very large with a super comfy mattress. The decor is shabby chic in style and the shower room large. The b & b is located on the second floor of a beautiful old building. Make sure you check the photos of the outside of the property before you go as it is accessed through a door next to a travel agent and not clearly signed. Staff are all very helpful and we loved the central location of the property. Only disadvantage is due to being so central the traffic noise could be a problem for some people.

Excellent location, bed very comfortable, room light and airy, en-suite large and clean, fridge and coffee maker in room a bonus. Notwithstanding the above the NOISE from the room above ours (101) was intolerable, it was like trying to sleep under a convention of furniture movers, it went on all day starting at approx. 07.00, if you want a lie-in FORGET it. This for us spoilt the whole experience, maybe other rooms do not suffer the same fate?

Gorgeous Room in Central Valencia

So pleased we booked this hotel which is very near the centre of town and the Metro. Bonus was it was opposite the Tourist Information Centre where maps and advice were freely given. Eva on reception made us very welcome. Most comfortable Queen size bed I've ever slept in and the fact you could totally black out the room was an added bonus. We had a an en-suite room which some don't have which was great with a hot shower and spacious. Only thing I'd suggest is to take a travel kettle as no tea making facilities are in the room only a coffee machine and also the TV was all in Spanish and unable to find any English channels so I'd take a small DVD player with films. All in all an amazing location to stay with everything within easy reach and so typically Spanish. I would highly recommend this hotel for a city break. 5 stars.

Great location near old town, parks, and not far from The City of Arts and Science. Parking garage just a block away from the apartment. Valencia is a great little city and definitely want to go back!!!!!!!!!!

Disappointed

Arriving on a Sunday late afternoon made check-in much more complicated. The room was very small with hardly any place to organize your clothes and very little room to maneuver. No one came in to change towels or straighten the room for the four days we were there. The location was good.

Lovely staff - friendly and gave great tips. Good area to stay in - everything was very close. Room was nice, bright and large with clean bathroom. The only issue was with the room above - noisy in the morning and at night but there were ear plugs in the room if needed!

Unbeatable location and service for the price!

The staff was incredibly helpful and nice and you could not ask for a better location. Everything was very walkable and easy to get to. The room itself was nice, comfortable bed and plenty of space. Disconnected bathroom was a little odd/ inconvenient but it really didn’t take away from the stay. Great hotel

Friendly, small hotel very close to the Old Town

Lovely, friendly staff that were welcoming and efficient. Room and ensuite bathroom were clean and pleasant. Note that there isn't a restaurant or bar in this hotel, but it is close enough to the Old Town that this doesn't matter.

Advice on local amenities was good and the main staff that I dealt with was always trying to be as helpful as possible. For me and my requirements it was ideal. I would (will!!) happily return

Budget hotel in good location great for short stay

Keeping in mind this is a budget hotel, it offers great value in a good central location. The busy Colon Street is a minute away, 10 minute walk to the Nord railway station, and also a 5-10 minute walk to the heart of the city. Good points - bed very comfortable, great wifi, tv (Spanish only), very clean, bike hire at back of hotel on Calle de Mar (we used and can recommend) - we cycled to science centre and then onto port and beach area. We were allowed entry a bit earlier than usual, and left luggage area very good. Bad points - noise from outside and other rooms a bit more than other hotels, but was acceptable. More like a hostel, with own bathroom across the corridor (you have the key).

Disse regler gør personalet ikke opmærksom på - i stedet vil de have 22 euro for at komme og ordne værelset. Den ringeste service, jeg har oplevet. Vælg et rigtigt hotel og betal lidt mere for det.

Vi bodde i ett standard dubbelrum, inget märkvärdigt och ganska slitet men rymligt, inget fönster så det kändes lite instängt. Men allt funkade ok, det bästa var läget, nära till centrum och katedralen. Även hjälpsam personal även om vi aldrig träffade någon.

Cumple con lo que necesitaba, muy limpio, muy céntrico, en precio. Las pegas...no tiene persianas, el cristal es muy fino y se oye el trafico y las conversaciones de la gente en la calle.

Het was jammer dat onder andere de koffie niet werd aangevuld wanneer de kamer werd schoongemaakt. De vloer was wel aan renovatie toe maar dat is niet zo’n probleem. Het bed was fantastisch.

Έμεινα στο κατάλυμα για ένα βράδυ.Ηταν πολύ καθαρά όλα, ευρύχωρο το δωμάτιο, με το μπάνιο ακριβώς απέναντι από το δωμάτιο. Το μόνο αρνητικό ήταν τα πολύ σκληρά μαξιλάρια και το έντονο άρωμα από το αποσμητικο χώρου.

Más que un hotel es un cuarto. Todo es autoservicio. El cuarto sucio al igual que el baño. El baño está separado del cuarto, nadie te dice eso antes de llegar.

Warm water boiler above the bathroom ceiling started leaking in the middle of the night. Spent all night calling the alarm number and mopping up the vast amount of water in the bathroom. It was supposed to be a romantic evening, but it was nothing of that kind. Slept two hours.

Localización perfecta. Único problema es el ruido: puertas del pasillo, pasos, los vecinos de la planta de arriba que a la 8 am deciden mover todo el mobiliario. Limpieza ok pero cuidar más las cortinas y las colchas que se veían sucias. En el complejo todo muy cuqui.

ótimo custo benefício

O Hotel é excelente, e o quarto é exatamente como nas fotos, o checkin e atendiemento são otimos e nao deixou a desejar em nada. Cama confortavel, lencois limpos, banheiro higienizado e equipado. Sempre que precisei de novas toalhas, cartao de entrada ou falar com alguem no telefone ou pesosalmente, fui muito bem atendida. O unico desconforto é realmente o fato de precisar bater a porta para fechar e isso ecoa por todas as unidades, atrapalhando um pouco o sono dos vizinhos, mas depois das 23h ja estava sempre silencio. Ótimo custo beneficio, voltaria a ficar no Hotel facilmente.

The bathroom was across the hall, next time it would be nice to have some bathropes to cross the hall and some paper towels in the bedroom.

El portal, antiguo y mal conservado, pero una vez en el alojamiento , todo muy limpio . Céntrico, se puede ir andando a todos los sitios . Con tiendas y restaurantes muy cerca.

Struttura comoda per raggiungere il centro di Valencia, silenziosa e in un bel palazzo. Assente la reception ma abbiamo fatto con facilita il self check in. Unico aspetto negativo la camera dava sull'interno cortile ed era molto poco luminosa.

Arredamento gradevole e pulizia abbastanza buona, anche i letti molto comodi. Unica pecca il fatto che non si potessero lasciare i bagagli dopo il check out prima della partenza. Ma nel complesso sono molto felice del soggiorno. La posizione davvero ottima, il centro facilmente raggiungibile a piedi. Mto gradita anche la presenza di una inespresso in camera per il caffè.

Me gustaron las fotos que me mostraron en la reserva, lo que más me ha decepcionado es que nada parecido a la realidad, ni cerca. Lo más impactante y desagradable fue encontramos en una habitación cuyo baño estaba al otro lado del pasillo, teniendo que salir de la habitación en toalla; la poca o nula higiene en cada espacio, un olor perenne a orina en la habitación, moho en el baño, el lavabo del baño diminuto; me siento engañada porque para el precio por la noche fue demasiado. No volvería ni aunque me regalaran la mejor suite de ahí. Ojalá les cayera sanidad.

Honestly not up to my expectations based upon ratings. The room smelt awful (had a window facing an internal patio that literally smelt like sewers). This was extremely off putting and honestly ruined the experience for us. The room is very small, although the toilet was really large, possibly just as large as the room, with a big clean shower and amenities. Finally, the hotel is really a renewed flat so the doors are paper thin and you could hear a needle drop in the reception or in the toilet. Not the best for privacy.. I wouldn’t say suffering though the smell and noises it’s worth the price at all. Location in city center is 5** though.

Hôtel très vieux qui a été rénové mais très bruyant, aucune isolation des chambres, on voit la lumière constante dans le passage et on entend le moindre son (même avec des bouchons)! Très moyen rapport qualité/ prix. Seul avantage, beau quartier et à proximité de tout.

Estuvimos dos noches en Valencia. El hotel tiene una muy buena ubicación, es agradable y de rápida entrada y salida. Me hubiera gustado contar con caja de seguridad. Muy buena experiencia.
