Would not recommend

Toilet bowl in outside not clean. Bathroom blinds not clean. Carpet stained and outside light kept us awake all night

Photos can be deceiving. Very old and run down. Bathroom very old and no PowerPoint to use hairdryer. Kitchen also old and fridge leaking water all over the floor which we were given towels to mop up but no one came to look at. Area felt unsafe, our room was on second floor so we had to carry bags up an unsafe old staircase. Would like not recommend

Clean room and comfortable beds. Pool was lovely and cool on a hot day and hot tub was a great temperature. The only small downside was the tv channels, i really wanted to relax with a movie, but there were no movie channels on Sky, only 7 sport channels.

The room it's self was good, bathroom had always smelt bad for some reason but other than that it was a good stay in this room

Close to a busy road junction, everything was clean and tidy but looking tired.

This is not a 4 start hotel

Easy parking and closer Hamilton cbd

We stay here every year in the two bed room apartment. The staff are always friendly. The facilities are great and the rooms are clean and comfortable. My favourite place in Hamilton for 4 years running

Lovely family holiday

The staff was wonderful. The room, being by the road side, was exposed to the traffic noise but the bed was so comfy that we still had a very good night sleep. The kids enjoyed the pools and it was great that there was one paddle pool for little ones. The spa pool was great after a swim, although the water didn’t seem very clean.

Our apartment has everything for an enjoyable stay, but maybe add some Salt and pepper, vinegar and Hot sauce mini bottles!!! New World Market is around the corner and Woolworths is next door!!!

Nice location. Amazing and comfortable hotel

I wanted to share my experience at the hotel. Unfortunately, I found the lack of communication regarding ongoing maintenance to be concerning. I only learned about it the day before my stay through an email, which felt frustrating. Additionally, I noticed that the room had a musty smell and seemed quite dusty, which may be a concern for anyone with allergies. On a positive note, the breakfast was enjoyable and had a great variety. However, I would recommend exploring other options for a more comfortable stay.

Handy accommodation to PaknSave, KFC, The Helm, town and the hospital. Room was great. Definitely get the breakfast - great options and nice and hot food, fresh juice. Pools and hot tub were great too.

The room was as expected. Double glazed glass doors kept the traffic noise to a minimum. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Room has aircon and a great heater stored in the cupboard. Others staying in building said the spa was beautifully warm. You couldn't hear people talking through the walls, but there was a lot of banging in the middle of the night that woke us all up, but this could happen anywhere. Great for a 1 night stay. Pack n Save straight across the road, as well as sushi, subway and a small pub.

I quite like this place and my family had lived here for four nights. Love the friendly staffs every time checkin and checkout. Plenty of parking lot. But I think the facility does need some upgrade of the amenities. The first night we upgraded to the superior twin but the door just could not easily open. The AC just blowed cold air even set at 26°C, so had to use coil heater at the same time. We stared at the motel unit the other three nights. The lock also needs some lubricant, and the shower head was too low for my height (185cm) so had to bow to wash my hair.

Reception very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean. Only negative was the shower over the bath was not easy to get into and out of for 80 year old.

It was a good recovery from the hospital. Enjoyed my stay.

Highlight of our stay was the breakfast each day. Wonderful. Staff all round are fabulous. The flood lights are so bright it looks like morning all night inside. Block out curtains would be great. Takes an age to fill bathtub but lovely. Hot water is unbelievably hot and potentially dangerous if toddlers/elderly run bath and get in. Traffic is very loud Fri/Sat night. Unit we were in is very dated, but functional and very clean. Not bougee, basic but good.

Good location, accommodation needs upgrading,eg double glazind shower toilet door needs replacing. Room is a bit tight with two double beds

Our first night was amazing, it was very quiet and the room was so clean, bed comfy. Second night was abit noisy - the doors to rooms slam shut and we could hear this through the night. The breakfast buffet was very good, good fresh food and great dairy free options.

Have stayed here a few times, nothing expensive but has everything you need.

Beds were comfortable, but the wifi wouldn't work properly. Bathroom was ok a bit small and the rubbish bins had rubbish in. Location was good close to everything. Breakfast was ok but i felt sprry for staff as there was only two ladies serving people and cooking Breakfast, so you had to wait at times for more food. Spa and pool was cool kids loved it. Staff were polite and helpful.

Found the accessible room, wasn’t wheelchair accessible into room from front door and into bathroom.

Very noisy. I found the stairs to the room very rickety and quite dangerous. What I disliked the most though was the giant spotlights which ran all night….this could have been less intrusive if they had blockout drapes as opposed to ones you could spit through. The shower was pathetic…low pressure and either very hot or freezing cold. A most disappointing stay.

Comfortable — I’d stay again

I mistook ‘room service’ to mean this hotel has a restaurant for dinner. I came out of hospital and chose it because I wanted to be able to order a hotel-cooked meal to the room. My (nowadays) old-fashioned notion is that hotels have restaurants— but that is changing. There is availability for room service for breakfast (but only continental) and there is a restaurant for a buffet breakfast. The bathroom is cramped but clean and as a former accommodation owner it passed inspection easily! I travel the entire country at least twice a year and am not a finicky guest. It was a very comfortable bed, spotless room, sky sports is covered (no sky movies— sorry gals) and all in all a good choice. I would stay again.

Had the most terrible stay, very noisy neighbours and hotel security seemed pointless and reluctant to assert any measures to fix, paper thin walls between rooms! Incredibly disappointing stay and lack of service.

We had 4 people in a motel room. Staff was always cheerful & helpful. One of the staff guy helped us when we were struggling carrying our big bags to the 1st floor. Rooms were of perfect size with a small dining table, small kitchen, comfortable beds. Tub shower was too high and difficult for the old people in our group to climb up and down, thou not a problem for not-old-people. Stand-in shower would have been great. Bathroom was clean and shower water pressure is very good (not many hotels have that in the US). Plenty of parking onsite. Subway, gas station & a huge supermarket are just opposite the street. There are pizza, food options close to the hotel (3-5 mins driving distance) We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and it was quiet good and filling thou it takes quiet some time to get it, so plan to go early if you are on a schedule. Would definitely stay here if we return to Hamilton in future. We drove to Hobbiton, Te Puia, Tauranga from here over the course of our holidays.

We had a great stay loved the swimming pool and spa was great also to have a lovely shower and bath definitely will stay again. Also very quiet and safe felt like we had the place to ourselves.

Somewhat dated, but room was very clean and spacious, beds were comfy, and we were able to enjoy wine and sun on the balcony while our son played in the pool below. Very family friendly and great for the price.

I liked the property location and clean condition. However the property had very little privacy. Windows had no blinds or netting. People walking to their units were peaking into our unit from the kitchen and bathroom windows. I found the place to be very noisy. Many rooms were being used for emergency housing.

Love the layout of the room, there was 3 adults and 2 kids and it was definitely family friendly, the hot spa was not available for our stay as it just had a clean and refill but the kids loved the pools its got there. We will definitely stay again. The lady at the front desk at check in waz so lovely and helpful.

Good lication

Pleasant, safe, quiet, convenient and affordable. Very tidy and clean motel unit. Easy parking in front of unit. Free ice cream for kids on new year's eve. One minor blemish was some under-cleaned and wet dishes were put back into the shelf before we arrived. Other than that, the stay was very relaxing and enjoyable. Would recommend. Thank you.

The property is a bit more dated and needs some upgrades. Breakfast options were not cost efficient for a family of four.

We had a lovely stay here, the pool was great for the kids and they were even giving out free ice cream on cones. The place was clean and beds were comfortable. I pups definitely stay again

We enjoy staying at the Heartland Ambassador Hotel in Hamilton. It is close to town. Supermarket and other food shops across the road. Large rooms to accommodate guests. Good facilities.
