Great location. Staff was very helpful - Dean was very helpful and kind, and had tons of recommendations on what to do around Airlie Beach.
Standard hotel rooms not large but newish and very well Located in the centre of Airlie
We loved our stay at the heart hotel. Firstly, we loved the location. Small walk to just about everything. Most tours pick up from behind the hotel. The staff were wonderful and kind (especially Dean). The only constructive feedback we have was in relation to the cleanliness - our room wasn’t properly cleaned (just a bed remake). This didn’t bother us too much though! Loved the stay thank you
Lovely service and great location. It was a bit noisy at night due to the bars and then in the morning with garbage trucks and delivery. The room was small but no problem for 2 people. For the price it was excellent and better than expected. Again the customer service from the staff was excellent.
A good property to stay however they could have given us a few more cloth hangers and dental kits for the price they charge. Overall a positive experience.
great location close to the lagoon (huge piblic swimming area). nice view of water but room was small
Friendly & helpful reception. Small rooms & no freezer box in bar fridge however super comfortable bed & luxurious pillows. Loved the added touch of lavender spray.
The rooms are extremely small but clean and modern. Located in the middle of town so walkable to pretty much everything.
Very central in Airlie Beach. Very small rooms. Great views
Couldn't sleep, pipes banging and rattling all night, front door was broken, gone down hill of late!
Very central. In good location close to the lagoon. In good condition.
Quiet even though hotel is on Main Street, double glazed & double doors to Balcony. Room small but has everything you need, great coffee machine and milk etc topped up daily.
Great clean room but noisy area
The showers were very dirty they need a deep clean, the floors should be looked after more by housekeeping, I had found old contact lenses on the ground beside my bed I stayed there a week and found them on the 6th day. A few stains on the floor, the soundproofing was poor quality for the hallway I woke up tons from people coming and leaving there rooms, I could hear staffed conversations and customers conversations like they were right beside me. The bed and pillows left my neck and back sore every night.
Air conditioning not adequate spent all night sweating also ceiling fan no good
Amazing staff at front desk, they were simply amazing and so helpful. Will start again for sure.
Room was excellent & convenient to walk around town. Do not have any dislikes
Great location, and great rooms. The fridge did not work. The aircon did not work. When I asked if I got a room upgrade (as per the earned VIP benefits program) the staff member acted like it was a joke, even saying "did you want me to joke around and pretend you get a room upgrade?"
The rooms are small but for one or two people for a couple of nights it’s fine. pub across the road does add some character but not for those who like an early night or are light sleepers! Nice hotel in a great spot
Wasn’t impressed with paying $500 a night with just a normal hotel style room. No inet on tv so only free to air
The hotel is located on the main road, everything is within walking distance. The cleaning tho was very poor, my room was located on the parking side area, and it was very noisy during the morning. I'd recommend choosing another side, if possible.
Very comfortable and very convenient. In walking distance of the beach, shopping, dining and the lagoon
We had been given a complimentary 11 AM checkout the evening before departure, 1 hour later than the 10 AM provided checkout. At 10:30 AM, a woman walked into the room without knocking. My friend was dressed and laying in bed as we returned from breakfast and I was on the toilet. She said “sorry”, left the room and then came back to reopen the door without permission AGAIN and threw the clean sheets for the next guest all over the floor, in the walkway inside our room as shown in photo. When coming in and out through the stay, I heard Allison and an older gentleman that worked at the desk talking poorly and would gossip about various guests. When going to checkout, Alison said “what do you need”, rather than asking us how we are, if we enjoyed our stay, ect. I informed about the experience of the staff entering the room and throwing the next guests sheets in and the response was that she would simply speak to housekeeping about it, and she did not seem to think it was a big deal and showed no care or compassion. I guess the “do not disturb” sign on the door does not account for anything at Heart Hotel. This was my second and last stay. Alison lacked kindness or care through the stay or regarding this event. The property is in less well kept condition now, hairs in the bed and gum stuck to nightstands. We even got black marks on the “new” sheets thrown on floor as we left accidentally as we did not feel it was our responsibility to move them after this invasion of privacy.
Great location in the heart of Airlie and walkable to the town's main dining options. The rooms are small but nicely presented. We had an issue with the shower flooding due to blocked drains, but the receptionist attended our room promptly to try and rectify the issue and provide additional towels. The room was clean, apart from the louvres between the bathroom and bedroom which were dusty and overdue for a clean. Surprisingly, the hotel is quiet and we didn't hear any noise from the main street - great window glazing! There is also plenty of council parking out the back, but no swimming pool, unfortunately. We have stayed at the hotel twice and will likely stay again due to its location.
The room was small and dirty Did get upgraded but only because the room was filthy and had blood on pillows and curtains They were going to charge us $1000 for upgrade
Standard rooms are small. But only a one night stay. I understand why larger rooms are more expensive re their views.
We found the hotel noisy. It backs onto a carpark which turned out to be too noisy in the mornings The bins were picked up early one morning as well as nearby construction with trucks reversing onto the site Trucks delivered goods to shops parked underneath the balconies The bed and pillows werent great either so that made it hard enough to sleep All in all, not pleasant
Great
Very convenient location, good view from the ocean room. Handy to everything, quite even though right in the middle of Airlie.
.
Great location, comfortable beds, beautiful bathroom and amenities, however the blinds are not block out and the internal noise (hearing everything in the hallways) was a little disappointing
lot of noise from nightclub, delivery and waste trucks
Location was convenient but no chair in room so had to use balcony chair . BathRoom was not swept and sometimes coffee mugs no replaced with clean mugs.
I had a lovely stay. The staff were great.
Nice enough and in a good location.
Great location!
Dust was inches thick on skirting boards & chair legs. Shower surrounds were moldy, towels were old and thin. TV had been replaced, but sound bar was no longer working and cables were hanging loose. No mini bar, no room service. Woken up every morning with rubbish collection and delivery trucks. Great location; although being advised the car park was going to be turned into a carnival overnight would have been appreciated at the time of booking!
Night in Airlie
Central location, walking distance to Marina, shops, restaurants and lagoon. There is no parking on site, but there is 24 hour parking available at the rear of the building.
The best thing about this property was the staff, especially Dean, who went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable. The hotel is right in the middle of the Airlie Beach action, close to everything.
Great hotel with excellent customer service. Thank you Allison!
Nice Central Airlie Beach Location
Always a good place to stay when I visit Airlie Beach. My only complaint, the number of noisy garbage trucks that come to pick up commercial bins in the early morning.
Great location. Only down fall is its right in the middle of the main street. Two Clubs have music blaring late at night, make it hard to sleep.
Great location and staff. Room itself was pretty average and run of the mill. Nothing fancy considering the price but that’s Airlie for you!
Our stay at the Heart Hotel was amazing. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was comfortable and had all we needed. The location was so close to everything - you could walk to wherever you needed to go.
Honestly, not really worth the money. Sheets weren’t clean & had hair in them, had spider webs above the bed. Staff tidied our room while we were out??? Upon arrival I had to pay a $200 security deposit that I wasn’t notified about beforehand & still haven’t gotten it back a week later, also was told on the day of arrival that we would need to pay for parking.
I found the room noisy you could hear the music and people talking and yelling as they came out of the pubs
The property is possibly misleading as to its location on the map which shows it on the pool side of the car park entrance, with a possible outlook over the pool, instead the property is on the opposite side of the car park entrance giving it an outlook over the car park. I discussed a late check out (12:00) with the staff at check in as I had a meeting to attend early morning, my wife was asked to vacate the room and told that check out was 10:00 am. My wife suffers from Huntingtons disease and was quite distressed about this as I was I contactable at my meeting.
I wish the rooms look like the photos. I’ve never stayed in a room so small. Only one bedside table, because a second wouldn’t fit. No chair and no where to sit other than the bed. Incredibly noisy. A tour bus pulls up just after 6am each morning and lets the bus idle for 10-15 mins. Right under the rooms. The louvres do nothing to block noise from the busy public car park.
Great hotel. Lovely and clean in a central location. Staff are helpful. Only downside is when staying beachfront as we were it is very noisy from 5.30 with the council street cleaners and bin men for about an hour every morning. Such a shame as everything else perfect.
It was very convenient and was very clean and everyone was nice and friendly.
Perfect location in center of town with nice balcony and great views. Everything at your fingertips.
Great location. I didnt like that my son and his wife couldn’t stay there because they had a baby (8mths) as the room only allows 2 people. A baby does take any room.
Was a great couple of nights so close to everything.
The staff and the hotel itself were wonderful and so helpful! Very well located, but the rooms were rather small and didn’t have much privacy within the room itself, though the room was modern and very clean.
Fantastic location, well kept hotel. Balconies in the back overlook the ocean and lagoon. Right in the heart of everything but quiet except for the birds outside at 430a - very rowdy! Loved it!
Great location
Great staff, location, parking
Great location, parking, pool, great restaurants close
Great
Staff on arrival friendly and efficient. Aircon was not working and it was a hot a humid night in Airlie Beach so we did not get much sleep. $300 for a 36 sq2m room was over the top!
Great central location. The staff are very friendly. Rooms are small but comfy. Only suggestion is to add a shelf in the shower for soap, etc.
central location in town but very loud due to being in the mix of the pubs
Beautiful hotel with fantastic view of the ocean. The bed was really comfy
Cute boutique style hotel in Airlie Beach town center. The room was small but clean and the amenities were nice. The balcony looks over a parking lot but has a nice view of the ocean. The town is bustling at night so the noise from music, etc is noticeable. Also there is some noise in the morning from trucks and such but not too bad during our stay. Great location for dining, shopping and just a short walk to the ferry building. The front desk staff were really nice and checkin/out was a breeze. Overall we had a great stay.
Property is in great location, close to everything!! Rooms are tiny
The location was excellent.
Super clean room with great facilities. Really friendly staff who went above and beyond to make my stay as smooth as possible.
Welcoming staff, excellent service and accommodation.
Great location and very nice hotel!
Excellent location
Nice spot, good rooms, and good location
Easy access to everything
Bring earplugs. Apartments with water view is really a car park view. And the car park has a street sweeper and garbage truck at about 5am that seems to be the loudest one that has ever existed. Impossible to get a good sleep after a big night at magnums. Not great if a hangover is on the cards. Saving grace is everything else this place offers in its proximity to the lagoon and town, and the great staff.
Great location. Very clean and service from staff member was outstanding!
We had a great stay here. The ladies on the front desk were awesome. They were both friendly and helpful. The location of the place is unreal! (Car park can be a little noisy, however the view and location top that). Only issue we had was the bathroom had a fair bit of grime/mould in the shower.
The picture advertised of the room is not the actual room. Ours was extremely small given the high price we paid. The balcony was extremely small also and describe the very noisy car park below.
Great room and place, unfortunately was not the room Wotif advertised to me.
Property is fantastically situated in Airlie town. Nice and clean, stylish accommodation. Staff were very polite and helpful. The “gallery “ portion of the hotel could use some help and extension into the rooms to complete the “arty” experience. Seaside car park section of the hotel is very noisy early mornings due to trucks and services. Will use again.
A joke to describe as luxury
If by “boutique” the owners mean tiny then this is the only thing they are telling the truth about. This is probably the smallest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in and it was $300 per night. Upon arriving it smelt like poo. The bathroom has shutters separating from the bedroom so you can hear and smell everything. Appalling uncomfortable bed and shocking pillows. I advise bringing a neck brace for the next day. This “luxury” hotel overlooks a car park so you won’t get a wink of sleep due to the party goers coming and going all night. The operators of this hotel have single handedly dropped the tourism standard for the whole town of Airlie. Nothing luxury or boutique here.
We had a wonderful weekend stay at The Heart Hotel. Will definitely be back.
This is a wonderful location to stay in Airlie Beach. It's right in the heart of the township, with all that Airlie has to offer at your fingertips. The staff were very friendly and always around to answer any questions we had. There was a partial water view however, the hotel is located right on a busy carpark that stands between the property and the sea. It is very noisy in the mornings, as vehicles and trucks come and go from 6am. There are extremely limited hotel amenities as such, so that's why I rated that part as poor. We stayed for 3 nights and the only attention our room had was the bed was made once. Admittedly we did ask for no cleaning on the first day. After that, water was not replaced and glassware etc was not cleaned. Overall the room was good however, the cost was very high for the hotel offerings.
Nice central location close to lagoon, restaurants and marina.
Right in the heart of Airlie Beach
Very comfortable - I always enjoy staying
The Heart Hotel is a beautiful boutique hotel. Though some complain the rooms are small, they are very comfortable and well appointed. Buttons and remotes control everything so no need to get out of bed! Nice shower and toiletries. I've stayed several times and always enjoyed the convenient location and the rooms.
the room was extremely unclean. other than that it was alright.
I have to say thanks to Nicole. She definitely stood out as the most friendliest person at front desk. As a frequent traveller it does make a difference when welcomed joyfully. One thing I’d highly suggest is the garbage trucks come at a later hour. Not pleasant to hear every morning..
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location, in the heart of all the restaurants and activities. Highly recommend!
The location was absolutely perfect. The room was nice had everything I needed. The Tv quality wasn’t good and not many channels work
The property it self is very beautiful, but once you get actually get into your room very different story, my room was full of thick dust and the mould in the shower was sickening, I literally had to cover it so I couldn’t see some of it while in the shower, room had no tv remote no phone as they say you can call The world for free in there advertising, the staff are very friendly it’s HSK that’s letting this property down
Great location
Good location in the centre of Airlie beach with friendly and helpful staff. The Deck restaurant served great food and the best coffee in town. Thanks for a great experience, will definitely comeback again.
Nice & central - cleaning could be better
Overall the room was a comfortable stay, if you are going to Airlie Beach without a car, this is a great spot which is central to everything, including only being 15 min walks to both marinas. If you like it nice and quiet at night, Magnums & Beaches music is easily heard so may not be suitable, however didn’t bother our stay as we are heavy sleepers. On arrival the room cleanliness was really poor, hairs in the shower, rubbish bins not empty, stain on linen. The wifi also didn’t work on the smart tv the whole trip, so ended up having to hot spot. For what we paid a night this was pretty poor
The staff at the front desk are lovely. As for the property you just need to have realistic expectations. It’s not 5 star. With the staff shortages we’re experiencing everywhere at the moment means the first thing that’s compromised is the overall cleanliness. Also worth noting that you’re in an area of town where all the major pubs and clubs are. So you won’t get much quiet until about 12am.
Bad housekeeper. So rude to touch my personal belongings and throw it away to the room floor. Unbelievable!
Rooms very small, with bedside shelf protruding over the bed that when I rolled over, I cut my forehead on the corner of the shelf. No parking on side, only paid parking in nearby lot
Nice apartment, quick check in.
We arrived at the hotel in the park evening and were advised my sms to collect our keys from The Deck restaurant, which was very seamless. However, we completed a survey when we booked asking for a number of our preferences, in which we had asked for a reservation at The Deck restaurant for when we arrived, but on arrival there was no reservation made for us. We did however appreciate the staff organising a booking for us, even after say to a couple before us that they were fully booked out. Other than that the late arrival check-in process is was quite smooth and the the room was adequate for what we were after.
Water aspect- middle of town-friendly
Izard
Room was very small. Staff unhelpful and verging on rude. It was a good location.

A well managed and comfortable overnight stay. Great location with ocean views
