The hosts are lovely, friendly people. The house is spacious, clean and beautiful and situated on a gorgeous property with mountains all around. Breakfast is complete and fantastic. Guests sit together with other guests each morning at 8 AM for a home cooked meal. The hosts are approachable and available and will play pickleball and have great stories. Lois the cat is an all star. I don’t think we have ever felt more welcome than we felt at Harvelle House.

Great B&B

Eleanor and Harvey are great hosts . We spent two days at their B&B in Sumerland , and have no complaints what so ever . They both get up early to cook a full breakfast that is very tasty . Lots to do in the area . We took the kettle valley train , and did cider tastings that are directly across the road . Harvey has put in a full pickel ball court and will give you a lesson if asked. The property itself sits on 13 lush green acers, and is close to all amenities . The restaurant Zias in Summerland was a great choice for dinner , but you might want to get a reservation before heading out .

A beautiful purpose-built home in a semi-rural setting in south Summerland with views of orchards and the Kettle Valley Steam Railway up on the hill.

This place is simply amazing. Location is fantastic,hosts are wonderful and the breakfast is to die for.

Harriet and Ellenor were excellent, experienced and friendly hosts. The house is in excellent condition, the rooms tastefully decorated. The breakfasts were appealing, tasty and plentiful. We had a very pleasant stay.

We received a very welcoming reception! Our accommodation was one of 4 rooms, beautifully decorated, very spacious, and comfortable. And the breakfasts are exceptional...gourmet and ample and delicious! I highly recommend Harvelle House to everyone planning on visiting the Okanagan!

Eleanor and Harvey are ond of the kindest people. I was on my own and no others were staying. They joined me during breakfast sharing stories. I will be visiting thrm again 💕

Wonderful place to stay. Very nice hosts and the breakfasts are amazing.

We have stayed here twice and both times have been great ! The property is so pretty and so quiet. The hosts are amazing people. So friendly and they make an amazing breakfast. Can’t say enough good things about staying here. Can’t wait to go back next year.

Beautiful house!

Everything was very nice. Beautiful rooms and lovely hosts. My only negative was that we didn't have our own TV in our room. After a long day of riding, it would have been nice to unwind while watching a favorite program in our room.

Stunning Setting.

First of all the setting is spectacular. Peaceful rural setting but only minutes to town. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful and yummy. Different each morning. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay in Summerland and area.

Hospitality was definitely on the menu at Harvelle House. Our hosts were gracious and were quick to offer travel tips for the area. Harvey even pulled me into my first game of pickle ball.

We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone enjoying being pampered with a beautiful room, view, great company and amazing food. It was definitely 5 * all around.

An amazing staying Summerland, BC!

We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Harvelle House BnB! Harvey and Eleanor were amazing hosts, sharing both their home and farm property with their guests. The house was purposely built as a B&B, ensuring our room, the breakfast area, as well as the outdoor porches all took in the spectacular mountain views, as well as the expanse of their 13 acre farm. And if you appreciate horses, you'll be delighted to meet the two resident Clydesdales! And apart from the warm hospitality of our hosts, the pièce de résistance is their incredibly delicious breakfasts! Always fresh and over the top creative, yet home made, your morning meal will get you through both breakfast AND lunch!! Just too good a gem to be true! 💖

Great hosts , great breakfast. Will go back next time in the area.

Little hard to get to the first night as there was construction, but a beautiful house and comfort and excellent breakfast health thing for me is you got bad knees you have a number of stairs to go up and down

This is a great place to stay for a few days. Our hosts Eleanor and Harvey treated us like family. The breakfast each day was wonderful. I look forward to a stay at Harvelle Inn next time I am in the area.

We had a pleasant experience all around. The hosts were uber friendly, it was very quiet at night so we slept well and the breakfast both days we stayed was superb!! We will be back

Harvey and Elanor were terrific hosts. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Hands down the best breakfasts I’ve had included in a B&B. Better than what I would make myself, and better than a restaurant.

Beautiful countryside, seeing the owner’s Clydesdales out in the field was idyllic! The room was spacious, bay window looking out over the country…the breakfast was fantastic! Local fruit, homemade goodies…waffles, eggs Bennie on 2 different days…yum! Great conversations around the table…I was travelling with my sister, visiting from NZ , it was the perfect ‘sister getaway’…she hasn’t stopped talking about how lovely it was!

The property was so beautiful! It was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Each room is spacious with really nice furniture and linens. The attached bathroom was modern and immaculate. The hosts did a fantastic job of making us feel at home. The verandah has many places to sit and enjoy the view or talk with other guests. Breakfast was amazing every morning, with lots of variety. We will be back for sure!

Quiet property, short drive to the beach and several Summerland wineries. The breakfasts served filled us up until supper time! Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

One of the best areas we visited during our time in the Okanagan. The house is located on a beautiful stretch of road between two cideries. The owners are helpful and make the best hot breakfasts.

Friendly hosts

Awesome stay. I felt welcomed. Eleanor and Harvey got up at 5 am for us riding in the Grand Fondo to make breakfast and wish us good luck. Stunning views around the property. Clean and quiet.

The Harvelle House is by far the very best bnb we have stayed at!! From the amazing property to the amazing breakfasts. Each day of breakfast was different. From Avocado Toast with poached egg, eggs Benedict to waffles. Always fresh fruit. Eleanor and Harvey were exceptional hosts. The property was amazing with a pair of Clydesdales to boot! I can go on and on. We already booked our next stay in September!!

Gorgeous home, every possible comfort you could ask for, large spacious rooms, quiet location, beautiful views and great breakfasts combined with a friendly hostess made for a perfect few days. A lovely home with pleasant hosts. Breakfast was delicious!

The property and hosts were amazing. Our room was large with 2 queen sized beds. Also had 2 reading chairs where you could cozy up and look out over the property. Breakfasts were amazing. 5 people staying here at this time were doing a 80k bike tour, we had to leave early in the morning before the scheduled breakfast time. Our hosts accommodated us with an earlier breakfast time and the food was fabulous. The hosts were very friendly and suggested a variety of things to do and see in the area. I would give this property a 10 out 10 and will definitely come back.

We would stay there again. Enjoyed morning coffee on the wrap around veranda and the hospitality.

Exceeded Expectations

Comfortable beds, spacious room, clean, very delicious breakfast-one of the best ever at any B&B, very friendly hosts.

Very well located property close to restaurant and activities by car. The house and environment is just fantastic. Host are very attentive and breakfast are just great to begin the day.

Harvelle House was in a beautiful, rural setting, but only five minutes to town. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed a glass of Okanagan wine, on the wrap around porch, in the evening. Our breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed the company of the other guests, and our hosts.

I really enjoyed my stay. The BnB is very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.

Very friendly, convenient for main city but in a rural and quiet setting. Main house is not accessible for mobility impaired but we found out tgey have a small cabin that is. Overall a relaxing experuence.

We loved our stay at Harvelle. It was a personable experience and we felt right at home upon arrival. Eleanor and Harvey accommodated our dietary needs and ensured our experience was nothing but exceptional. The rooms and house were beautiful and well equipped. Harvelle House Bed and Breakfast is a lovely gem! It's quiet, clean, and Harvey & Eleanor are AMAZING. They made me feel so welcome and right at home! The breakfast is great and a gluten free option was always specially provided for me. I will be moving to the local area soon and recommending this stay!

Highly recommended

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every single one of them. The hosts are extremely hospitable and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is gorgeous and the breakfast was extraordinary, a different cooked breakfast every morning.

Such a lovely quiet location but still near shops (you need a car). Harvey and Eleanor are THE BEST hosts and make you feel so very welcome. The breakfasts are amazing! Will always stay here when in the area - nowhere better!

We had a lovely weekend at Harvelle House. Harvey and Elanor's B&B is charming, their property is pastoral and pretty, and it was easy to get to both Bottleneck Drive, Giant's Head park, and into Summerland or down to Penticton. Our room had a comfy bed, the house has AC, there was a big closet and a dresser to store our clothes. We would be happy to stay there again!

Beautiful property with great views of mountains and orchards

Wonderful hosts and best place to stay when you travel to Okanagan Great hosts, excellent food and the place is clean and well taken care. My favourite place to stay when I have to go again.
