The pictures look nice but don’t lets it fool you. Small alley. Small room. Didn’t look nice and somehow look catchy. I won’t come back for sure.
Staff are friendly however I wouldn't book excursions with them as they are overpriced and don't follow the full itinerary. Bedsheets and towels are clean but there are ants on the floor. Close walk to the old quarters.
Not a good choice
I asked for a quiet room and special Spa Treatment for my wife. She got a very noisy room even 10pm at night and nobody offered her any Spa Treatment!
Hotel was in central location, good service and friendly staff
Disappointed
It did not look as nice or as clean as the pictures. The room was much smaller than expected. The shower had opaque glass. So while you couldn't see completely through it, you could still see stuff. It's not ideal when rooming with a friend. They didn't have any other room options so we had to deal with it. I requested 2 twin beds, but got a double bed. There were tiny ants all over the place and small moths around the bathroom. In the morning before 8am there was loud drilling in the wall behind us and we couldn't sleep. I would not recommend this place.
The hotel was a disappointment. The photo's exaggerate things as does the description of the rooms. Executive with a street view is actually a small room with a window that views a wall. The staff did there best to offset the false expectations and I am appreciative of that.
Room was very small and bed was very uncomfortable. Linens were torn and very strange room layout. Not at all like the photos. Hotel was very difficult to find as it’s at the end of a narrow alley. We booked for 3 nights and only stayed for one. They refused to refund us for the 2 nights we didn’t stay. For the price, there are plenty of much better options nearby. Just don’t book here. Not worth the headache.
Staff were friendly. However, hotel should really do more on its cleanliness. There were many drain files and the toilet does not smell good.
Very friendly staff, however the toilets were super small! Room was of an acceptable size, bed was big but toilets were not well done. Not sure if it was because of some drainage issues, but the toilet had a smelly/rotten vegetables smell.
Great spot in Hanoi. The service was great from the moment we checked in until we left. The staff were really friendly and helped us make sure we made our tour the next morning without any hassle. Room was spacious and clean, would stay again.
Is a great hotel, would definitely recommend. The staff are amazing as well
Friendly staff
The staff was amazing Lee, Kang, Toni were amazing !! I would come back again !
Terrible location
The location is terrible specially if you are on your own. Felt unsafe so found another hotel to stay on the very same day. The entrance is in an alley way which is narrow and unsafe
Great friendly and helpful staff. We arrived amidst the second wave of Covid-19 panic in Vietnam (where new cases were mainly foreigners), but we experienced no prejudice and we have to commend the team for this. Room was small but normal for Hanoi standards, and bed was comfortable. Breakfast selection was good too, and you're able to order freshly cooked complimentary items off the menu. (Tip: go for the spring rolls!) Keep in mind the property is down a tight alleyway, so cars are only able to park on the main road. You can request for a porter to help with heavy luggage.
Took amazing care of us - beautiful new hotel.
Even while travelling at a time when the world is topsy-turvy, the GM and his staff were welcoming, concerned about our happiness and health and did everything possible to be reassuring and responsible for the guests under their care. The hotel is new, beautiful, stylish and clean. Rooms are lovely. Breakfast was plentiful with good coffee and a great variety of tasty items. Location perfect for the sites - very walkable.
Little gem of a hotel! A bit Hard to find
Hotel Hanoi: The hotel itself is a little bit hard to find as it is down a small alley way however if you follow google maps there Is a sign post at the end of the alleyway. The location in Hanoi is really good and everything is within walking distance. The hotel has recently been refurbished and it does look good however there are a few bits that still need finishing off but don’t let that put you off it’s a great little find really reasonably priced. The staff are very welcoming and on our arrival we were greeted with a cup of tea whilst we did the check in process. The staff asked if we need any help with any trips or tours and we were then shown to our room. As mentioned above there were a couple of teething issues with the new refurbishment in our room including a shower door that leaked slightly and a very noisy bathroom door but on raising this with staff they were very apologetic and we were swiftly moved rooms. The rooms aren’t huge but a nice design and you can see it’s been recently refurbished. The hotel has a sun deck on the 7th floor which is high enough that you can see a fair bit but the view isn’t anything to write home about. Breakfast was included in our stay and there was a mixture of Buffett and ordering off the menu - there was a great mix of Thai and western cuisine to fit everyones needs. We went on a Halong bay cruise whilst staying in Hanoi and the staff kindly looked after our big suitcases and did some of our washing whilst we were aw
Cute little alley way hotel in Hanoi, walkable to all major attractions but far enough to get a quiet night of sleep. Delicious breakfast. Staff were extremely accommodating when we had to change our plans last minute.
Great hotel. Really friendly and helpful stuff there ! Nice breakfast! Different type of food every morning ! Clean and feel like home ! But when people passing by have noisy
100% care the need of customer
Hotel was newly renovated in Old Quarter. Great location to reach many attractions on foot. Staffs were very friendly and helped us to solve our problem. Accompanied us to 4 pharmacy buying face mask during our stay.
The front desk Manager Miss Lyn do a excellent job, she solve all my problems, she introduce me to the nice restaurant and the nice local places, definitely I add a lots of points on this Hotel because of her.
Good hotel with good dedicated service at good $$
Good experience overall. Good breakfast included, the room was very comfortable and sized according to the price paid. The management should address the flying bugs/flies in the hotel, specially in breakfast area as that could spread disease on to the food eaten. Second area of improvement was time it took to get our room. Surely they know we are staying there as it was a prepaid room and they could have the room prepared prior to our arrival, which was later in the afternoon. Instead we waited for almost 20 minutes to get our room. They did take care of us with coffee while we waited. Overall this was a nice place and I would book a room again here in the future.
Dont' judge a book by it's cover.
The hotel is down an alley that looks like your about to check into a brothel. Waited almost 40 minutes to check in after being told the room would be cleaned in 5. Roof terrace wasn't finished. A few teething issues (service, maintenance and description pics) as it's a new hotel. Staff is not very experienced, but super polite. Hopefully everything will be sorted soon and ratings will get better.
Value for money
Quiet as it is away from the streets. Internal windows is an optical touch.
The staff was very helpful when asked for anything However, the room had nats. Like a good handful everyday. Breakfast was great, for me that is. Other, would complain due to the selections offered. The hotel was not far from the bars and restuarants. Many of the sites we within walk distance.
This place was deceiving. This “hotel resort and spa” was located down an alley. I booked a room with a king size bed. What I got was a room with no windows and two twin beds pushed together. Lots of gnats flying around the hotel. The breakfast buffets were horrible. Most of the time it was hotdogs and rice. The massage I got from the spa was over priced and not good. I’ve had better massages from hookers in massage parlors. Oh and when you check out they tell you that they charge you for the “shuttle service” to and from the airport. Horrible place.
the bad and good
I was at first disappointment at the interior of the reception and restaurant as I arrived at night and didn't look as charming as in the photos. You can easily hear people talking in the room next to yours. However, The room condition is not bad and the staff where extremely friendly and helpful. The organized for me few excellent tours . Location is great and value for money is good.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was helpful and pleasant. They were informative and helpful with booking a day trip to Halong Bay. The hotel breakfast was a bit disappointing only because there are so many coffee houses in the area that open early with great food and wonderful coffee. We skipped the hotel breakfast after day 1 and headed out into the city. All in all.. we would book at this hotel again if we ever head back to Hanoi.
The inexperience shows given that this is a new hotel
Great stay
Hotel initially hard to find as not on main street but down an alleyway...went past it a couple of times before finding it! Gem tucked away though. Very warm welcome from front desk staff who throughout our stay went out of their way to make us feel very welcome. Check in very thorough
Good location. The only issue was that there was a missundertanding when the tour guide come and picked up us as in the lobby they said we werenot there.
Like some reviews stated, the hotel is situated inside an alley. However this is advantageous as you cannot hear the commotion from the main street at all. The hotel is very sound proof from the city noises. The staff go above and beyond to help you and make your stay enjoyable. They speak very good english for those who do not speak Vietnamese. The breakfast might seem smaller than some other hotels out there. But the food is incredibly good. They also change it up everyday we were there. The room was very clean and main areas as well. Thank you guys for everything. - Phuong An & JC
Excellent Service
Excellent location and service by the staff especially Lea and Hyuhn at the reception who were very customer focused, proactive and thoughtful. They knew what we need without the need for further elaboration and personally made sure the promises were delivered satisfactorily.
Arriving at the Hanoi Paradise hotel & Spa after a long flight
Great service at brand new hotel
Although it is only for 1 night it was a very pleasant stay. We arrived very early (like 7am early) and Lyn of the reception personally added our WhatsApp and informed us that the room is ready for early check-in at around 11am. Room is new and clean and friendly staff with a hefty breakfast with freshly squeezed juice and order-to-make omelet, spring roll, noodle, and pancake.
hotel's staffs were friendly and helpful. Hotel is located in a small alley ,within minutes of walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake. Room is clean but small.bath room is so small that we had difficulties opening the door. Breakfast is good.
Walking distance to Old Quarter
Hotel opened in 2018. so condition still good. Walking distance to the Old Quarter area. Not in the noisy Old Quarter area.
Amazing staff will go above and beyond
Even though the hotel entrance was in a small alley, the inside of the hotel was very modern and clean. The staff is very knowledgeable and will give recommendations, book reservations, and give directions to all the best attractions in Hanoi. They even arranged a private car to the airport for us after we checked out.
A front staffer helped us tremendously ,as he slept in front of the hotel during our departure on the 15/12/2019 around 3.30 am and 5.30 am. He said it is hos job, but he did it any way with so much grace and respect. I made a mistake on our departure time from the airport. He solved the problem for me. Thank you young man.
The peppery is new so all is clean and in good shape. I was a little surprised that the entrance to the hotel is from an alley off the main street but it turns out to be a plus because it is less busy. The front desk manager, Ly made this excellent point. The service from all the staff was excellent and Ly, another Ly and Tony were especially helpful.
I highly recommend this hotel and will come back!
I highly recommend this hotel if you would like to be in the old quarters, near the local shops and within walking distance to the Sword Lake. If you stay during the weekend, you should not miss the night market and the cultural activities around the Sword Lake in the evening. The breakfast buffet in the mornings were delicious with a good variety to choose from. Eggs and omelets are made to order and brought directly to your table. The Vietnamese coffee was so good and made fresh, not from a machine like some other hotels. This hotel is newly built and clean. The service is excellent. The staffs were wonderful and were always more than willing to help us with our needs. The manager went out of his way to help us book our Ha Long Bay tour. I recommend you book your tours through the concierge here because they will take care of you and will make sure that you get the best tour service at a reasonable rate. If something goes wrong you can always call on them for help because they have a personal relationship with you and want you to be happy. They also have airport pickup and drop off service that is cheaper than the taxi service. Whatever you need just ask and they will help you. Again, I highly recommend this hotel.
Great stay! Very friendly staff thanks!
Quiet Clean rooms - Boutique Hotel In Old quarter
Great budget boutique hotel. Close to major attractions in Old Quarter. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel just recently opened and the spa is not operational yet in the hotel but there are great spas withing walking distance. Rooms are away from most street noise at night which is good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast with western options upon request. Overall a great budget mini luxury feel hotel.
Hanoi is a land of boutique hotels where the big chains have not yet taken over. The Paradise Center was only open 2 weeks when we arrived. Their attention to detail was spectacular. The location is ideal for walking to most attractions. The staff is VERY friendly.
Have a comfort stay. The staffs are friendly and helpful especially Ms Tin Nhan Moi. She is very attentive and responds to our enquiries immediately. Will stay at this hotel if going to Hanoi again.
Perfect - Great location & beautiful decoration!
I booked this hotel for the first night of my first-ever solo trip and it was a perfect start : ) - LOCATION Great. A 4 min walk to the Temple of the Jade Mountain at Hoan Kiem Lake. It’s right at the centre of the old town, so you can easily go to all the restaurants and bars etc... and still have a good night sleep because it is located in a little hidden alley that is very quiet. - DECORATION This is a new hotel, so everything has a nice new feel to it : ) Its beautiful classic style makes you feel quite luxurious. My room felt quite big too which was a nice plus! - STAFF Everyone was really friendly and helpful. They helped me book a car to Ninh Binh and also a Ha Long Bay Cruise - and help me get great prices for both. (I am certain of this because I did a good amount of research online and consulted my friend living in Hanoi before booking. Very grateful about that.) The hotel manager, Mr. Son, was particularly helpful. Thank you again Mr. Son! - BREAKFAST Quite nice! They offer a mix of Western and Vietnamese choices, making pho on the spot (highly recommend). In summary: I really liked it and I recommend it. I plan to stay there again in a couple days when returning to Hanoi before my departure flight. Enjoy!
Good hotel
Very good, friendly, helpful and always big smile service. Convenient area for visits but still off busy streets
The staff was very nice and helpful, however everything else was very disappointing. Location is terrible and facility was old and not clean.
Very friendly and attentive personnel. I had to cancel 1 night and they were so helpful and accepted to refund me the night. The Pho in the restaurant was delicious. In general i enjoyed my stay. Bed was comfortable and the hotel is in the old quarter. Easy to walk by foot.

Do not book! The hotel looks NOTHING like the pictures. It’s in a back alley, the furnishings are all fake plastic and cheap building materials. The room itself was quite dirty (mold in bathroom, stained sheets, tv falling off the wall etc) and the locks on the doors felt loose. We left within hours of checking in - the hotel promised a refund and said to contact Expedia. They then refused to process a refund. Do not book!
