Great place to stay in Hanoi

Great spot to stay in Hanoi in the Old Quarter. Hotel was everything that you needed with a sky bar to top it all off!!

Very good stay and recommended.

This is a very nice hotel. We were served hot ginger tea on arrival. Very refreshing. Everything was to our satisfaction. The staff were excellent and all of them spoke very good English. Welcome fruit basket in room was also appreciated. The bed was big and comfortable and the room was clean and spacious. Hot hot water for showers. Because of the location it can get somewhat noisy at times from the action outside. No fault of the hotel. Close to everything you need. The hotel has a very good restaurant which we used a couple of times when we wanted to get out of the mele of the Old Quarter. We enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in recommending it.

Stopover in Hanoi was perfect

The perfect haven of calm in the vibrant beer street precinct. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. Our room had a sting area which was a lovely bonus. Food and service was a standout. The hotel offer a lovely breakfast which offered an excellent variety of options. Dinner in the restaurant was wonderful with a very good menu. My husband had the duck which he said was the best he’s ever eaten. Sky bar is a good spot for a pre dinner drink with good views and an evening breeze. We loved our stay and hope to return soon

It was a great stay, the staff were lovely and helpful. The only let down for me was the mattress was quite firm but other than that all good! Breakfast was so nice and lots of choice

Great hotel

Very good hotel. Fantastic location for nightlife and restaurants. Close to tourist attractions. Right on beer street, but very quiet in the hotel room. Excellent service from staff throughout the hotel. They were happy to help with any questions, recommendations with food places, bars and tours. I was greeted at check in by reception staff called Jane. Very helpful and friendly. Then I met Du who recommended tours I wanted to visit. Brilliant recommendations, I went to Halong Bay and Ninh Binh. I arrived at the hotel early and as soon as the room was ready they allowed me to have access to the room. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Hanoi. Thank you to all the staff, I really enjoy my stay at the hotel.

Right at the start of beer street, in the heart of the old quarter. Views from rhe “view” rooms are a bit funny, but the room quality and location make this a winner. Like most hotels in the old quarter, the street frontage is quite small, so easy to walk past it. Breakfast is amazing as well, and the staff are super friendly.

La Mejor and their staff gave my wife and myself a five star experience! Du looked after every need we had, from booking a grab/uba to day trips and massage and salon bookings for my wife. And as translator for some of the business i had to do while at Hanoi. It was a wonderful experience staying at this hotel.

Luxury in the Old Quarter

Formerly the average Ta Hien hotel, recently upgraded to a luxury venue. Excellent reception service (Thanks Anne) amazing breakfast on the 9th floor looking over Ha Noi, and a bar on the rooftop. Close to the tourist bars, but if you want value for money cheap venues very close. Hoa Kiem lake, Water Puppets 5 minutes walk. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby in the wonderful surroundings of the Old Quarter

Everyone was so nice!

My gosh this is the BEST hotel I have ever stayed at in my life! Right from when we walked into the hotel, we were greeted with drinks and snacks and our bags were brought up to our room for us. The host gave us various recommendations for food and activities around the area. The room was lovely. They even offered us a complimentary upgrade without us even asking! It had all the amenities needed. In the morning, they offered the best hotel breakfast I have ever experienced! So many different cuisines represented in the large spread of hot and cold dishes. It blew all my expectations out of the water. I wish I could always stay at this hotel wherever I traveled! Kudos to a great team at La Mejor Hotel!

Old Quarter Stay

The hotel staff were friendly and very accommodating. The assisted with transportation from the airport, kept my luggage on the day of check out and had great breakfast options. The hotel was nice and beds were comfortable. Hotel staff also provided recommendations asked. I also came back another day for the Skybar which was also great. I rated this a 4 star because there was a mildew smell in the room. To be fair they may have moved me if i informed them, but i decided not to as i checked in around 12am and checked out around 10am. It was just on overnight stay.

Lovely hotel, perfect location, splendid service

Had a wonderful experience staying at La Mejor recently. The place is immaculate and the location is perfect. Breakfast is quite luxurious. I was a bit disappointed in the lack of an external window, but the plus to that was that the room was incredibly quiet, even though the hotel's next to one of the loudest party streets in Hanoi. What really set it apart, though, was the outstanding service. Han arranged for an incredible Thai massage just around the quarter that I would never have looked into myself. She saved me money on a taxi to the airport. And finally, she directed me to an amazing cha ca spot enjoyed by locals over the more touristy one I had in mind. In short, she helped make my already-good trip better. Huy, Trong, and Lam were also super helpful, arranging for dinner reservations, helping me with my bags, and giving me useful tips. Hoping to come back to Hanoi soon, and when I do, I'll be staying at La Mejor.

Great location. Lovely hotel. Lovely staff who could not do more for you. One member of staff even sourced medicine for me and brought it in for me on their day off!!

Wonderful Hanoi

3 nights couple. Was impressed w the hospitality of staffs, especially Du who offered us early check in, recommend good restaurant & walking route. Love the homely room w everything that we needed. Breakfast each morning is awesome on top floor. The best hotel right in Hanoi at heart of old quarter.

We had an amazing time. The staff is so sweet and hospitable. The hotel is beautiful and the perfect location. We loved the fruit and little note waiting for us when we arrived in the room. We were served delicious tea and ginger while we waited for check in. The sheets and pillows were really nice too!

The staff is amazing. They went out of their way to accommodate me. Everything from tour recommendations and bookings, general directions and arranging taxi services. The breakfast was good and the rooms were very clean and confortable. The location is great and you are in the center of the Hanoi madness!

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and were able to answer any and all questions my wife and I had. Hotel was incredibly clean and comfortable. Location is amazing and makes it incredibly easy to walk to Old Town Hanoi. Highly reccomend.

Good hotel next to Beer Street

Lovely modern hotel next to beer street but the room we had was quiet and very comfortable. It only had a very small window with no view but as we were only staying for one night it wasn’t a problem for us. Sky bar has great views and is a refuge from the raucous streets below. Breakfast was basic but okay.

One night stay

Great location, the street transforms after dark great party vibe however the hotel is quite...sky bar has a great view of the city and the bartenders are on point...The first room we checked into had no AC they, the staff was quick to change rooms. Thanks for making our stay a great one.

Very pleasant stay in Hanoi, in the central part of Old Town (“beer street” so super crowded at night). Really nice, modern and clean hotel. Nice rooms, really nice breakfast with buffet and a la carte + excellent staff and service. Highly recommend.

Die Unterkunft liegt zentral in der Old Town von Hanoi man ist direkt im turbolenten geschehen und kann alles zur Fuß gut erreichen. Das Hotel ist schön, sauber, die Zimmer sind groß und sehr ruhig und alles nötige war vorhanden. So ein Hotel würde man dort garnicht erwarten ein richtiges Juwel, aber uns ist generell in Vietnam schon aufgefallen das man eigentlich jedes mal im Verhältnis zu Deutschland einen Stern oben drauf setzen kann. Das Frühstücksbuffet war großartig und man konnte sich jeden Tag zusätzlich noch etwas umsonst zubereiten lassen von der klassischen Pho bis zu verschiedenen Eier Variationen. Der Blick über die Stadt aus dem Restaurant und der Sky Lounge drüber waren super. Fazit ein super ruhiges Hotel in der Old Town von Hanoi wo keine Wünsche offen bleiben und das Personal sehr freundlich ist und in allen Belangen weiter hilft wie Trip Buchungen oder auch Restaurantempfehlungen.

Nice Hotel in the middle of the old town of Hanoi. Quiet room even though on very busy street. The rooftop bar is very enjoyable. Staff super friendly. Our room did not have a „real“ window, but was comfortable and clean.

El hotel no ofrecio una gran experiencia, el desayuno incluido todos los dias fue muy bueno y en gran parte por el servicio del personal. Todos, recepcion, door guy, restaurante fue muy bueno!

ホテルは綺麗だし、設備も整っています。一番よかったのはスタッフが親切で丁寧すね。アクセスもよいのでおすすめです。あえて悪いところを書くと、 週末の夜になるとホテル前は人で溢れかえり歩きにくいのと、外でカラオケもしてるので騒がしいです。あと、スカイバーが価格が高いので他で飲んだ方が良いです。
