Super central location. Good hepiful staff.

Hotel looks differently from the pictures in the booking platform. No windows in the family room. TV didn't work one full day - it was fixed.

They were very friendly and helpful. always try to accommodate my requests. I stayed there for 5 days and 4 nights and would like to stay there again. One small thing is that it is not the hotel's fault, but we used the taxi cab on the way to the airport thru the hotel. The taxi driver made a couple of stops before we reached the airport, he made a stop to get the banh mi(bread), the lady on the street kept gesturing us to move the car, but the driver was outside to get the bread, and then he made another stop to drop that bread to a woman. it was pleasant at all. Other than that the overall hotel experience was good.

The property was located in the old quarter and was convenient for walking around. Many small restaurants and cafes around. I never needed a vehicle to get around and was able to visit many locations. The hotel was quiet and staff very pleasant.

Room is spacious but needs more cleaning to be done. The hotel is very close to the weekend night market. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops are near by. Hotel staffs Chloe, Ben, Lucky and night time receptionists are nice and very helpful. They even provide services to arrange tours, cruise and airport transportations for hotel guests.

It was a great pleasure staying at the Hanoi Garden Hotel and Spa!!! The entire staff was wonderful providing great service throughout our visit. The Hotel facilities are excellent, and we will definitely stay there again during our next trip to Hanoi 😀 BIG THANK YOU TO THE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KIND STAFF!!! Convenient location in the Old Quarter and lot of dining options even we arrived late close to 10pm. Staff are nice, respectful and helpful. Breakfast was very good with fresh juice and noodles.

The hotel was clean and beds were comfortable. We arrived very late and the room was so hot and humid. It would have helped if they anticipated are needs and had our rooms cooled before we checked in. It took a while for the air condition to cool the whole room. Breakfast could be better. There wasn’t much choice and it’s very basic. All in all it offered great value for a short night’s sleep.

My room was comfortable and considering the hotel's location in the Old Quarter, very quiet. The location is perfect for exploring the old quarter, with many cafés, restaurants, shops and markets in easy walking distance.The staff were wonderful; they were attentive and helpful and a great source of recommendations for day trips, restaurants and amenities.

great hosts

Nice hotel. Good location. Good breakfast. Be careful of what room they give you. Our room had one window that opened to a brick wall with no air from outside. There was no airflow at all. We stayed 3 nights and by the time we left every piece of clothing we owned was damp. Everything was constantly wet and the room smelled like wet dog.

This was a nice little hotel. The sheets were clean and the pillows were nice. The room was large and nicely decorated. We’d moved from a cheaper hotel and this one was a relief from the other. The location was good in another part of Old Quarter that we hadn’t explored so that was fun too.

Stay in October

Absolutely fantastic value. Service from the staff, especially Chloe, was just as good as 5 star hotels in America. They took care of our day trip and travel bookings, making things incredibly easy for us. They even helped us with travel after we left their hotel! The room was big, clean, and pleasant, perhaps a bit dated. But there was nothing lacking!

Very hospitable and the pick up option from the airport was nice. I find booking taxis through the hotels to be better in Vietnam. That way you don't get scammed. Very responsive through WhatsApp. They let me hang out in the lobby and store my bags even though I checked out the day before while waiting for a bus. Thanks for the hospitality!

Wonderful stay at friendly hotel in old quarter

Wonderful stay as this new hotel. Amazing location, lots of great places to eat in very ocal area. Great neighborhood, felt very comfortable walking around at all times. Hotel clean, super comfortable beds and great breakfast, Spa a lovely bonus on site. However what made this trip was the amazing staff, delightful, chatty, knowledgeable and went out of their way to make our stay very special. Appreciated upgrade to bigger room after our trip to Halong bay - couldn't recommend this hotel more!

Great place to stay in Old Quarter

Wonderful stay, attentive staff and great location. Felt comfortable in the area all times of day and great places to eat close by. Would highly recommend

Staff gave us warm and personalised welcome. A few we would like to highlight: Lucy, Chloe, Chris (Oscar) and Spa Manager, and of course the crew whome we did not get to meet. Staff here are friendly and approachable and that made up for the less than expected state of the property itself. Honestly, the building is old and nothing much is done to it, considering the number of other similar properties around the area for visitors to choose from. What distinguished this hotel is obviously the staff. I must also share that the Spa treatment is good. Therapists knew what they were doing. Will come back for the Spa.

The front desk staff: Kris, Chloe,Lucy and the rest of the great people that made our trip so fantastic! Thayer went out of their way to fulfill any issues we had and showed us different tours that we could do. This property is in the heart of the Old Quarter. It was the best vacation that we have had in our 55 years. Vietnam people are so helpful, friendly and just so hard working. We will be back again and again! Thank You so much 😊

Was very pleasantly surprised with such great service. Upon arrival we were greeted personally with tea and lots of help and suggestions by the staff who offered their time abundantly. Greetings every morning with a surprise attachment to our door with candy and personalized notes/wishes to us including weather details made every morning special. I can not detail just how good the staff had exceeded our expectations from organizing and coordinating our Halong Bay excursion to just about every other activity we had in Hanoi including a heart felt sendoff by all the staff who all escorted us out to the taxi when leaving. Always conscientious about our needs and accommodating, I would give the staff 6 stars out of 5 if I could. Special thanks to Mai, Chloe, Chris, and Meme

Great staff

We stayed at the hotel for two nights, the hotel staff were great and very helpful. Welcomed us with drinks and a snack. Good spot for people who want to be in walking distance (15 minutes) from the center but not in the middle of the “mess”.

The staff really stand out at this hotel, they go out of their way to be helpful especially during check in when informing you about the area and things to do. The rooms a big with very comfortable beds. The only thing I would say is that the showers in the bathroom could use some refurbishment. The location is also amazing, just one street over from the night market. We will definitely stay here again in our next visit to Hanoi.

Stay at Hanoi Garden Boutique hotel

Overall I was very happy with the service and my stay at the hotel. One of the highlights of the excellent service was the help given to me by their staff Kris when I lost my phone. I reached the hotel after 9 PM a time when most shops would be closed. Kris took me with him on his bike and helped me a locate a shop to buy a new phone. It saved me an immense amount of trouble. My airport pickup, drop off and tours were on time. The tours were quite good but they maybe a bit cheaper if you research on your own. I stayed there 4 nights and here are a few observations: 1. The hotel safe kept resetting on its own and I had to call the reception few times to fix it. 2. One of my breakfast orders was missed. One of the things the management needs to take care of is the credit card fees. I suppose the banks may be to blame here but When I offered to pay my bill in USD(cash) , the staff was expecting flawless or brand new notes. My notes were in quite good condition and easily accepted elsewhere. Anyways I opted for payment by Credit card for 3% extra.

A FABULOUS time at Hanoi Garden Spa

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling with a family to Hanoi. It is located in the bustling old quarter right which is totally buzzing. This hotel is an example of why boutique hotels are in fact better than than the 5 star chains. They go the extra mile and it feels like a personal service. We arrived and checked in on my birthday. That evening after dinner we got home and came back to our lovely deluxe family room. A moment later there was a knock on the door. They walked in with a cake decorated with my name on it and some candles. What a sweet touch! The building has a lot of character and you could see the old features. But the hotel was well-kept and we had a lovely family room. The breakfast was better than what we had at the Novotel in Ha Long Bay! When I do return to Hanoi I hope to stay there again. The only odd thing was in the showers there were GLASS containers for the shampoo and shower gel. I think there’s a risk they could slip out of your hands and smash on the floor. With kids (and adults!) that’s a potential issue although we were fine. Again - please do stay there !!

The property is very clean and the staff are amazing. Highly receptive at the reception desk. They are thorough with their explanations, and provide a fantastic breakfast. The room is clean, the toiletries are wonderful and they even accomodated us after our reservation so we could clean up after walking around old quarters.

Definitely worth a repeat visit

What a great choice of hotel. So welcoming, so comfortable. Everything from check-in to check out was swift and efficient. I used the spa twice for massages and both were excellent. The breakfast was more than enough food and included cook to order and buffet. What is also worth noting is that unlike many hotels in Hanoi, there was zero pressure or hard sell to book tours with them. That said I ended up booking an early morning market tour through them and it was fantastic. Hot showers, clean towels, charming little notes every night with candies. Very much h in the Old Quarter but the windows seem to block street noise. I've already booked another stay with them.

The hotel staff were amazing and really made you feel at home right away. Everything about the hotel exceeded our expectations and I would not hesitate to stay there again.

I felt like a respected Auntie at this hotel. Kind and professional staff including Mai Li. It is very stylish, smells nice from the spa in the lobby, and has a very comfortable bed, a rarity in SEA!

Our stay at the Hanoi Garden hotel was excellent! The quality of the check-in service was fantastic; we were greeted with tea and snacks, and given a crash course in how to get around. The quality, cleanliness and comfort level were all top notch - the best we had throughout our stays in Saigon, Hoi An, Halung Bay, Ha Giang and the other Hanoi hotel where we stayed our first night. The included breakfast was very good, and the check-out experience was fast and easy. My friend had a massage in the spa, and compared to every other place we were at, this was hands down the best one. The location was great; right near the nightmarkwt and very convenient to walk around. Overall, superb service with friendly helpful staff - I can not recommend this hotel enough!

Hotel location is within the center district .Which is easy to walk around shop and Dinning places. Also the up market shopping mall is around 20 mins walking distance.

Dejligt hotel med helt perfekt belligenhed. Vores værelse var lidt småt og badeværelset havde set bedre dage, men serviceniveauet var i top og der var helt rent. Vi ville bo her igen en anden gang.

올드함이 있어 사진과 다름

호텔의 올드함이 있지만, 위치나 직원의 친절함으로 묻혔습니다. 모든 직원들이 영어를 구사하지 못하나 올드 쿼터에서 조용하게 묵을 수 있었다. 옷장에서 찌른내가 심하게 났으며, 2시에 체크인이 가능하다고 했지만 계속 기다려야했다

Wunderbar in der Altstadt gelegen, so dass man zu Fuss viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und was es sonst noch zu sehen gibt erreichen kann. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war top in Design und Präsentation. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Terrible

Worst service ever. Did not get the room we booked. The pictures are misleading and even though the description of the picture is the name of the room - that is not what you are getting. The window handle was broken and unable to close - nobody cared to even try to fix it or change our room even when we asked 3 times. When we tried to talk to the staff about our concerns, they were ignoring it and changing the subject. When I asked to talk to the manager, they said they would contact her but never actually did. The only good thing about the hotel is the location, but there are many other in the same area and much better service for same price

Herzlicher Empfang und best location!

Alle Mitarbeiter des Hanoi Garden Boutique Hotel waren so unglaublich aufmerksam, hilfsbereit und freundlich, so etwas habe ich selten erlebt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und man kann sehr viele Sachen von dort aus viele Dinge zu Fuß erledigen. Im Hotelzimmer gibt es viele Aufmerksamkeiten und sogar Zahnbürsten. Die Kissen und Bettzeug waren auch sehr angenehm. Im Spa wurden wir auch auf angenehmste Weise behandelt und ich würde dort jederzeit wieder einchecken - DANKE!

다른 곳에서 2박 후 여기서 2박 했어요 비슷한 가격대인데 이 곳이 전반적으로 더 좋았습니다 로비 분위기부터 스파도 좋았고 조식 중 쌀국수와 오믈렛 괜찮았습니다 매일 밤 방문앞에 작은 노트와 캔디선물도 소소한 기쁨이었네요 공항까지가는 차도 여기서 예약해서 갔는데 차 탈 때 배웅까지 해주셨어요 시간대마다 스탭이 바뀌지만 모두 친절합니다

위치, 고객응대, 조식등 전반적인 서비스 만족했음... 하노이를 간다면 재방문 의향 있음...

這次入住在2樓的四人房，房間燈光昏暗沒有對外窗但整體空間算寬敞，浴室非常大！服務人員非常親切和貼心，早餐也滿多元，整體CP值很高還可直接在旅館裡做Spa，如果房間能在有特色一定給5顆星！

호텔 찾기는 좀 힘들었습니다. 입구가 작아서 처음에 그냥 지나쳤거든요. 그리고 샤워기 수압도 약해서 샤워하는 시원함이 부족했습니다. 하지만 리셉션 직원분들이 너무 친절하셨어요. 마지막날엔 체크아웃 후에 짐 맡기고 관광을 하였는데, 관광 후에 돌아와서 샤워도 가능하다고 알려주시더군요. 땀 많이 흘려서 꿉꿉할 게 뻔했는데 너무 친절하고 센스있는 서비스였습니다. 덕분에 샤워하고 택시 불러서 정말 쾌적하게 공항으로 돌아갔습니다. 아침 식사도 소소한 뷔페 외에 메인 메뉴를 주문 받아주는데, 쌀국수, 오믈렛, 바나나 팬케익, 프렌치 토스트 다 맛있었어요. 좀 걷긴 해야하지만 하노이 기찻길 가까와서 좋았고, 퍼짜쭈엔도 가까와서 좋았습니다. 다음에 하노이 가면 또 방문할 것 같아요. 그때도 또 관광 후에 샤워할 수 있게 해주세요~ 단, 수압은 좀 센 방으로 주세요^^

まずロケーションは最高でした。旧市街の真ん中にあって、周囲を散歩するだけでも楽しかったです。 ホテルは古いためややインフラは脆弱でしたが、こじんまりとしてスタッフの皆様がとてもフレンドリーで、それだけでも大満足でした。 最終日のフライトが早いのを心配してくれて、朝食のお弁当まで持たせてくれました！ 併設のスパも良かったです。 是非また利用したいです。
