Terrible
we booked this hotel only because of the airport pick-up service. As a result, after picking us up from the airport, asked us to pay the taxi fare. If it is not free, it should be noted as other hotels. Not only that, also that they said our room was destroyed by the typhoon, so they said arranged us other hotels with the same price. But the other hotel they arranged wasn't worth the price we paid at all. Shame!!
Friendly staff no to bad of a location could of been a bit closer
Full of bed bugs. Returned the second time and still got the same problem
Very run down place. Needs total overhaul
Clean enough but very shabby and delapidated place. My room was on the 5th floor but no lift. Can to leave my suitcase in the reception area with the luggage storage as it was too heavy to carry up multiple flights of stairs
Great location for a budget accommodation
The bed was really comfortable (to my surprise for a hostel). The hostel is in a great location where all the main tourist attractions are walking distance away. It is also next to a train track, hence will be super noisy and not the best if you are a light sleeper. There are no lifts and the staircase is pretty narrow. Therefore it will be quite a physical workout if you are on the upper levels and also if you have huge luggages. The dorm room is pretty standard of a hostel accommodation. It lacked amenities for e.g. hooks and rails for clothing, enough chairs for occupants and bigger storage cupboards. The staff are helpful for e.g providing information about tours, attractions, recommendations but not very attentive to our requests. We had to give occasional reminders about our booking arrangements.
Clean, comfortable beds, no footboard which is helpful for tall people like me. Breakfast was basic for the area - one egg and two pieces of toast. Location is on the edge of the old quarter, so a bit of a walk into the center, and it's right next to the train tracks, so it can be loud as the trains roll by a few times during the night. Also the curtains are great, but they make a lot of noise when people open / close them. Staff are really friendly and helpful, and speak decent English. If you're not a light sleeper, this is a solid place for the value to base in Hanoi.
Change room three times when I first arrived They were nice but disorganized
Great place to stay. The beds are super comfortable which spacious lockers for your backpacks. Bathrooms were clean and had strong showers. Very friendly staff who took the time to explain everything. Good breakfast and strong wifi even in the dorms which was a plus. Booked my tour to Halong Bay through the hostel and I loved it. Location is right in the center so within walking distance to everything. Highly recommend staying here!
Train noise
The room I stayed in was so noisy. It sits right on a train line, and as train passed every hour (all night) the whole building would shake. Pretty standard hostel otherwise, no real communal area and guests werent the friendliest.
Comfortable hostel, however the bathroom ventilation was not good and made the bathroom feel like an oven. Wish they could fix this. Overall was happy over there. Staff were helpful and nice.
perfect
it was perfect..more than i expected
Clean and comfortable, helpful staff
Ana and Tom at the reception were always helpful and friendly. Hostel was accommodating allowing me to check-in earlier than the usual time. The place is new, clean and spacious. Beds have good mattresses. Good location within walking distance from most major attractions. If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs to fend off noise from the karaoke bar and the occasional night train that pass through.
The best hostel
Staff speak english, Really cheap, the hotel look like new, it's really clean, everyday they change towel and make bed everyday, and breakfast was included (simple but for the price I paid I can't complain). Price/quality the best I ve been. The only problem, I booked a 4 bed dormitory and they gave me a 10 bed dormitory.
Backpacker
Very good hostel. The bathroom was very clean. The bed was comfortable with a privacy curtain, light, and outlet! Breakfast was 2 fried eggs, toast, and a piece of fruit. Only complaint would be that there could be some occasional noise from the karaoke place next door and the nearby train tracks.

The hostel is right next to a Karaoke bar and train tracks. I managed to sleep with earplugs but if you are a bad sleeper, don't stay at this hostel. Otherwise, it has a great location.
