This is the best hotel if you are flying from Terminal 2. Very convenient, friendly staff, lots of dining options etc.

Very unique about this property is the beautiful view from room window to be able to see airplanes terminal. You can see the airplane moving close to the gate and getting ready for boarding& take off.

An overnight stay before a flight. Very conveniently situated on the departure level of Terminal 2 although it’s the opposite end to international flights. Large room by Japanese standards, well equipped. Staff particularly helpful

The only thing I would have wanted was a pot to make hot water and some instant coffee/tea in the room.

I stayed one night between the domestic and international flights. There was a cafe which was less crowded and a good place to meet. The side of a toilet was not completely clean. The service was excellent

It was very convenient for getting on and off the plane at the terminal, and there was plenty of space so we were able to get plenty of rest.

Stayed here on arrival and the night before flying home to the UK. Will now be our "go to" option. So easy - it's right in terminal 2 - especially if flying with ANA. Comfy rooms and excellent breakfast options.

Very convenient for access to airport.

This hotel is super convenient and an excellent choice when flying in/out of Haneda Terminal 2. ANA uses this terminal for domestic and international flights. There is a free shuttle bus to the other terminals. Terminal 2 has underground excellent subway connections into downtown Tokyo. We were completely satisfied with our stay at Excel Hotel.

Staff made check-in extremely easy. The room was really nice and comfortable. Accommodations were more than great. The hotel restaurant was amazing as well. Staying at the airport hotel was super convenient and staff was super helpful when leaving to come home! 10/10 would recommend and stay here again.

Love this hotel for an overnight stay!

We wanted to stay as close to the airport as possible since we had our return flight home to the US the next day. And you couldnt get any clpser than this hotel. It was literally in terminal 2 of the Haneda airport. You had access to the whole terminal which means you had lots of food and shopping choices. The staff was super friendly and the hotel had a pretty cool look to it. The rooms appearance is alright. Not up to date but not really outdated at the same time. But the beds were super comfortable which made getting up that much harder hahahaha

It’s right at one end of Terminal 2, so it is extremely convenient. The rooms are a bit older and on the smaller side, but clean and well equipped. The hotel is large so walking to your room could take a while. Check in and checkout very quick.

The friendly staff makes a non Japanese speaking me feel welcome all the time. Had a runway view room seeing airplanes taking off and landing without the noise. Terminal 2 is just an automated sliding door away with all types of airport shop, restaurants and transportations. Breakfast buffet can add a bit more western types of foods in my opinion. Excellent choice if you need a place to stay and fly from the airport the next day.

An overnight in the cleanest airport in the world. A GREAT place to stay and cop some Zs.

It’s convenient for over night transit but the room is small and facilities inside the room are somewhat dated. It was the same as 8 years ago the last time we stayed here. Breakfast was wonderful as before and staffs were very professional and pleasant.

Perfect airport stopover. The hotel is accessible from within Haneda terminal 2. Despite being at the airport it is quiet. The room is surprisingly spacious. Would definitely recommend booking breakfast which is an all-you-can-eat buffet in both eastern and western styles.

Despite being at the airport, the hotel is nice and quiet and was a perfect respite after a long day of travel. Hotel staff were friendly and check in was easy.

We were a group of 6 travelling and booked 3 separate rooms. Stayed there as our next flight is on the next morning. Reception was alright, did not felt welcome, and felt more like “here’s the keys to your room, you may go now” kind of vibe from the receptionist. As it was past 8pm, the only restaurant which was still operating is located at the hotel lobby. The saving grace is that the food was above expection. Room is considered a good size for a transit hotel.

I only stayed for 10 hours. Very convenient

when you just need a bed to sleep in for a 14 hour stop - this hotel is good enough. The breakfast was pretty expensive for not very nice. Should have skipped the hotel and found a place in the airport.

Airlines kept expanding so it was very noisy.

So convenient to have a hotel inside the airport. All we had to do was walk right out to the terminal and check in to our flight. Also, grateful that the hotel let us keep our luggage until we return in a few days.

Very spacious

If you have an early morning flight like we did, this hotel is literally in terminal 2. So convenient, clean, roomy, comfortable beds. Would highly recommend.

The Haneda Excel Hotel is connected to the airport terminal which makes extremely convenient to check-in for flights - walk directly to the check-in desk (The International desks were at the far end of the building). We stayed at the hotel because we had a 7:00am check-in for a flight to Sydney). It was a bit of a challenge to find somewhere to eat dinner, but found the restaurants on the 3rd floor of the terminal were OK.

Great location in airport

Convenient, great food available with so many places within walking distance in the airport, and room had so many extras included such as water, hairbrush, razor, coffee, etc. I will always book based on my flight schedule for arrivals or departures.

It does the trick. If you need a place at the airport this is fine and I’d stay again. Nothing especially memorable from the stay.

So convenient for travelers since it's literally in Terminal 2. Plus the room was very comfortable, a good value for the price. I hated the supposedly automated check-in procedure which necessitated staff help. I experienced this type of check-in at another hotel recently and I hated it. It didn't seem to save the staff any time or trouble, and I think it's a terrible way to welcome guests.

This was super convenient for us because we arrived late and didn’t want to go far right away. We checked in easy and went straight to bed. Felt great that it took us only 10 min to get to the hotel and check in and we’re in our rooms ready for a shower and sleep. We ordered room service which wasn’t too great in my opinion but it kept us from starving. Check out was easy and I would stay here again. The bed was a little firm but not bad.

Arrived late and needed a safe place for our first night. This was our first time in Japan and we had a neurodiverse child. This hotel was excellent.

Hotel is starting to show its age. But the staff are great and everything still works great.

We loved our stay at the Haneda Excel Hotel Tokyo. First we were greeted by a very pleasant hospitality hostess, then she escorted us to to check in counter. The young lady who checked us in was very gracious and understanding our lack of knowledge of the Japanese language. We all had a good laugh when she explained to me that I still owed 200 yen for room taxes. I thought she meant $200 USD. We all laughed when I realized it was less than $2.00 USD. The room is spacious with a sitting area, table & chairs that I wasn’t expecting. The bathroom is quite large with one of those incredible Japanese toilets that does everything but the dishes. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant “The Flyer’s Table”. The staff was amazing just like the food. I had the mushroom stroganoff and it was delicious. Can’t wait to see what’s for breakfast this morning. Will definitely return here if I get the chance.

The location could not have been more convenient, the lobby leads straight to Haneda terminal 2. The entrance to subway and trains are also in easy walkable distances (downstairs). It is a perfect choice especially when you have a flight within the next couple of days. The hotel is very clean and quiet, the space is very good by Tokyo standards. And the staff (especially the lady who helped checking us in) was super friendly, helpful, and so so nice! It was a very pleasant stay and l look forward to staying there again!

Extra convenient when having to transit from Haneda ANA terminal to other cities in Japan.

It’s located in terminal 2 so it’s very convenient. The property was clean and well maintained. The check in staff were abrupt but not rude. Breakfast was delicious.

The location of this hotel was very convenient. The staff was kind and willing to hold our luggage when we had to wait for our flight. Overall the room was clean and comfortable.

We had to extend or time in Tokyo and this hotel offered an excellent option to make use of unplanned extra day in Tokyo, while still being so close to our flight (we flew out of T3). Place was also quite nice - very clean and spacious. Very friendly staff too.

I had just a day in Tokyo with a morning flight the next day, so decided to stay at the airport. This hotel is very conveniently attached directly to terminal 2 with an entry to the domestic check in area. The staff were friendly. Room was in good condition and clean. I really liked the toiletry products in the bathroom. The shampoo, conditioner and bath gel were great. The mini fridge was handy fir storing some snacks and drinks. The only negative was the TV service Only a handful of channels, with no English selections at all. Usually you would expect maybe BBC World News or CNN. There were some pay movies but i just wanted to relax before bed with some TV and so was disappointed with this. Apart from that, I realy liked the hotel.I was able to take the train from the terminal into Tokyo for the day to do some sightseeing

Ok for an overnight stay

We landed late and didn't expect that we had to go through immigration to get to the hotel. We actually canceled another hotel for this thinking we could avoid having to go out. By the time we got to the hotel, it was almost midnight. I was worried about check in but there was a staff by the kiosk helping us, which was nice because I most likely would have trouble with the check-in kiosk myself. The room was basic but clean, the bed a bit hard, and we were looking out to a parking garage. It was fine for just a night between flights but the fact that you have to go through immigrations twice was annoying.

We liked the fast check-in service using the machine. We also liked the spacious area inside the room as you can even put the airport trolley to the room. The facility is a bit old, but acceptable. It's ideal for taking a rest at Terminal 2 and catch the next flight on the early morning at Terminal 2.

Machine checkin took longer than human. Annoying. Room lights operated via faulty side table switches so had to remove room card from slot to switch them off. This left me with no air conditioning. Again, annoying in a room costing over £140

Really like this hotel. It is a great place to get acclimated to a new time zone! Staff was very helpful as well.

Perfect for late arrival.

I appreciated the ability to leave my luggage at the hotel prior to my check-in time so that I didn’t have to push it around the airport while I waited to check-in. I also appreciate that they were willing to keep the luggage until I could check-in for my flight. The breakfast buffet had a nice assortment of food and everything I ate was fresh and tasty.
